“You’re so fucking high, baby,” Jack said playfully. He was glowing with sweat and I could see wet spots of cum underneath him. “Your pupils are huge, I can barely see any red.” Jack let out a sharp cry as Silas picked up his pace. I just loved how his silver hair shook back and forth with Silas’s movements, like his entire body was dancing to a choreographed song.

“I can’t even see yours,” I laughed. I grabbed onto Artemis’s back and pulled him onto me. The silver-haired twin let out a soft moan and started licking and nipping my neck, his hips still moving back and forth. I could feel cum already in his ass, dripping down onto my testicles. It was quickly being devoured by a tongue though as his brother pursued every loose drop.

Jack smiled at me; he looked high out of his fucking mind. We all were, every chimera and sengil I could see had dilated pupils, their guards completely down and any inhibitions they had gone with the white powder encrusted on their nostrils, even Elish.

Fuck… I looked and saw Elish. He was on Nero now, thrusting into the brute chimera who was on his side with one leg bent at the knee and being held back in his hand. Elish’s face was tensed in concentration, kneeled over Nero with a hand on the mattress to support him. Nero was staring at the various sexual acts taking place in front of him, his eyes glassy and glazed over.

I guess this was my family. Tomorrow we would go back to our jobs, our duties, and commitments. Tomorrow we would go back to addressing our greaters as Master and each other as brothers. We would run Skytech, Dek’ko, the college, the greywastes, and Skyfall, with stoic faces, un-wielding eyes, and a powerful iron fist. We would go back to subtly manipulating each other, trying to outsmart one another to win favours with our king or brothers we wanted to impress. We would all go back to our day-to-day routines as the great and feared chimeras of Skyfall.

We were kings, princes, imperial generals… but right now, we were just family, brothers, and lovers.

And tonight I truly became a part of this crazy family of mine.

I could never be more happy.

Chapter 50

I woke up from what seemed like a hundred year sleep. There was bits of gunk crusted in my eyes, and as I tried to breathe I realized it was plugging my nose too. Everything seemed gunked shut and as I rubbed my eyes and freed them from their crusty prison I could feel the same crap all over my face and the prickly beginnings of my facial hair.

I tried to shift over to my side but as soon as I moved I winced. My body felt like it had been tenderized by a meat hammer.

Then, as my mind came back to me, I remembered that it pretty much had been.

For the entire damn night.

My eyes opened. I looked over and was immediately greeted by two dull black eyes, staring at me with a look so flat and miserable if I could manage it I would’ve smiled. My poor Jack looked as pathetic as I felt. He had the covers pulled up to his chin and his silver hair was sticking out in all directions, it looked like sometime during the night he had lost an earring as well.

“Kill me,” Jack mumbled weakly, then he pulled the covers up further. “No… get me drugs, then kill me.”

“No, you need to kill me first.” I yawned before, despite of the pain, I chuckled. “That would work now wouldn’t it?” I weakly grabbed my pillow and playfully pushed it against Jack’s face as if to smother him.

Jack snorted and grabbed my pillow, he threw it weakly back at me and I stuffed it back under my head. “I feel horrible, every time the family does this I swear I’ll take it easy next time. Then Nero and Ceph come with their monster cocks and I’m back to needing a wheelchair for a week.”

“I still like my killing ourselves idea.” I yawned again, feeling my jaw pop.

“Silas, Elish, Nero, and Garrett do that,” Jack explained, his voice still rather pathetic and frail. “Since they have to run Skyfall. Technically we could, but I guess they wanted us to suffer this time.” Then both our attention was turned to a looming figure in the doorway.

“But at least that means you get to borrow one of their sengils,” Kinny said with a smile, though the poor boy looked just as tired as we did. “I prepared you two some Dilaudid powder. I thought I would see if you were hung-over before I offered some food. I wasn’t sure if you wanted a light meal, a heavy one, or none at all.”

“We need one of these permanently,” I mumbled to Jack, then turned to address Kinny. “I’m not hung-over at all I just feel like I got hit by a truck. Meat, eggs, bread, and put cheese on all of it. What about you, babe?”

Jack nodded. “And coffee, Kinny. Lots of coffee… feel free to wait an hour or three to put the order in. We’ll drag out asses to the living room once the food arrives.”

“Speak for yourself,” I said, and pulled the covers over my face.

Two hours later the sengil summoned us for our breakfast, though when I slagged my ass into the living room and saw the clock I realized it was five in the afternoon. This didn’t surprise me though, I lost track of time but I gathered none of us made it back to our apartments until the sun had already risen.

“What’s the last thing you remember?” I said to Jack. I was sitting on the couch and he had his head on my lap, I was lightly playing with his hair as we watched a marathon of Futurama. None of us had the energy to change the channel so we were watching Nero’s TV channel.

“Elish fucking you.”

I looked down at him and narrowed my eyes. “Don’t even joke about that.”

Jack stared up at me with an innocent look on his face. His colour had come back after a good meal, lots of coffee, and a healthy dose of opiates. Though he was about to look like a battered wife if he kept joking about Elish and I having sex.

“It’s true,” Jack said, he seemed amused at my denial. “You two were last and we all watched since, well, it was quite the sight to see. I was in the middle of Loren and Garrett, then everything kind of faded into darkness. I don’t even know how we got home.”

My mouth curled at the thought of Elish on top of me. Sure I respected Elish but… fuck, not enough to sleep with him. Jack laughed lightly and puckered his lips for me to kiss but I shook my head and pinched his nose instead.

We didn’t move that much for the next several hours, and after watching poor Kinny try to clean our apartment we invited him to sit and watch television with us. The sengil obliged without hesitation and sat down with bowls of potato chips, some of which were appropriated by the kittens and Jett. I never would’ve figured that kittens would like potato chips but there you go.

Never more than today was I glad to be a chimera, there was no job for me to go to and no Skyfall for me to run. I would have to enjoy this time in my life before Silas saddled me with a job. Though at least I could just kill myself and be all fresh and new for the morning. There were so many perks to being immortal.

I loved this family – everything was just fucking wonderful.

Then the television started to flicker, the image of Bender became scrambled and distorted before Futurama disappeared entirely, replaced by a blue screen.

“What the fuck?” Jack said annoyed. “Kinny, go hit the receiver.”

Kinny got up with a grunt and walked up to our entertainment center. He smacked his palm against the top of the black receiver before reaching over to wiggle the wires. Though nothing was working, a blue screen taunted Kinny’s efforts.

Jack made an annoyed noise and changed the channel, but that channel was blue too, as he surfed through all of Skyfall’s channels we were dismayed to see that every channel on the television had gone offline.

I sighed. “Maybe there was a power outage or something?”

Jack shrugged and lifted himself off of my lap, he smacked the remote against his knuckles. “I hope nothing is wrong with the satellite. It might take Skytech months to find another satellite signal for us to use.” Then he got up. “I’m going to call Silas and see if he knows what’s up.”

“No.” I shook my head. “He must already know. When peoples’ television goes out they get really pissed off really quickly. He’ll just get mad at us.”

My boyfriend stopped and nodded. “You’re right… we have some movies we can watch at least. I don’t have the mental energy for video games. What about
Seven
? That movie is pretty good, have you–”

All of our attention was drawn back to the television when the blue on the screen suddenly changed. It showed a room that was draped in black curtains with a wooden stool in the center. It… it looked like it was a live feed from the video quality.

Then to my shock a figure with washed out pink hair and blond roots appeared on the screen, and sat down on the stool.

Valen.

Valentine Dekker looked rough. Not only was his faded pink hair knotted and messy, but his face was grey and gaunt, and his usual sparkling pink eyes were dull and surrounded by thick black circles. He looked horrible, but why was he on the television? Where was he? Why wasn’t he dead?

“Valen…” I heard Jack whisper. I stood up and took my place beside him as we watched Valen adjust the camera so it was focused right on him.

“This is a message for King Silas Dekker,” Valen said to the camera. “My former king and my former master. Yes, after constant abuse and rejection by my family I have come to the decision to renounce my status as prince and as a Dekker. I have joined the rebellion and will not rest until the Dekker’s are out of power and Skyfall is liberated. The human race was free before the Fallocaust and it will be free now.”

“Shit…” I swore, my insides started to boil with anger as that smug-fuck little shit stared into the camera. I wanted to jump right through it and strangle him. Who the fuck did he think he was?

“I know what you’re thinking, King Silas,” Valen continued. “Why the fuck should you care? I’m nothing but a failure to you, nothing but a rejected science experiment. I’m worthless to you and because your scientists failed to produce what you wanted I’m condemned to life as a dog to be kicked and eventually put down. Especially now since Sanguine Dekker decided to slither his mentally-handicapped self into my life. The fact that you see that retard as a success and me as a failure is the worst insult of all, and as such, I feel no guilt as to what I’m about to do. You deserve it, you deserve it for how you’ve treated me.”

Jack’s heartbeat spiked and so did mine. Valen then left the view of the camera and I could see him talking to someone off of the screen. Jack and I both didn’t say anything, but, knowing he needed it in that moment, I slipped my hand into his.

Then Valen came back and, oddly, he was holding a briefcase in his hand. He sat down on the stool and a smile curled his lips. Without a word he clicked the two locks on the briefcase and opened it – then pulled out small clear cylinders.

“What the hell are those?” I said confused. Each cylinder, with a black cap and a white label, held inside of it a small white piece of organic matter.

“I don't know…” Jack whispered, his head shook back and forth. “But Valen seems to know.”

“You know what these are, King Silas.” Valen’s eyes flickered up to the camera, a dangerous half-smile on his face as he waved one of the cylinders back and forth in front of the camera. Then surprisingly… he dropped one onto the ground. There was a crash of breaking glass and the camera panning down to the broken container, the organic matter in the center, surrounded by the clear fluid it had been floating in.

“There are seven left, and every day I will break one more. You will deliver Sanguine Dekker for three bottles, Jack Dekker for the two, and a truck full of ammo and weapons for the remaining two. You will deliver me Sanguine and Jack first by tomorrow evening at the Wal-Mart entrance in Irontowers. If I see any surgical scars on them, showing me that you’ve made them immortal beforehand, I’ll break every single fucking glass.” Valen snapped the lid of the briefcase shut and handed it to someone off screen. “There will be no bombings of Skyfall since you obviously don’t give a shit about your people, so this is a direct attack against you. I’m not fucking around, you wanted the second generation to become true chimeras, well here is your wish,
my liege.
Good evening.”

The screen went back to blue for a split second, before the channel Jack had switched to came back. Neither of us spoke for a moment, we just stared at the screens, dumbfounded.

“At least… we’re already immortal,” Jack said slowly. He had his other hand covering his mouth as he stared at the screen in shock.

I nodded slowly. “Let’s go to Silas’s apartment and see if he’s there. Valen was acting like he knew that those cylinders were important to Silas. We might… we might just have to go in there and get them for him.” I pulled on Jack’s hand and the two of us headed towards the elevator, Kinny behind us.

“I can’t believe he’s still alive,” Jack said as we waited for the elevator. I squeezed his hand supportively, his heartbeat was a mess. “Though there never was proof that he was dead.” His face darkened and his eyes flashed dangerously. “And he joined the fucking rebels.” He looked at me. “We’re going to kill him, the two of us. We’ll make that clear to Silas.”

I smiled, feeling more than just a little turned on by that lethal expression on his face. I really loved it when he acted all chimera in front of me. There would be nothing more I’d love to do than hunt down and kill Valen with my boyfriend. We were a virulent team and I was itching to prove that to the family.

“We will, it’ll be fun, especially since we can’t die.” I winked at him.

The elevator doors opened, but the elevator wasn’t empty. Elish was standing with an annoyed and angry look on his face.

“Why couldn’t you walk up the four flights, you lazy imbeciles!” he snapped, obviously pissed the elevator had stopped for us. “Get in already. King Silas is going to be beside himself with anger.” Then he looked at Kinny, his already threatening purple eyes seemed to burst into flames. “You – stay behind if you value your life.”

Kinny didn’t need to be told twice, he nodded and sprinted back to the apartment as the doors closed on the three of us.

“What’s in those vials?” Jack asked as the elevator started to climb the last three levels.

“Something extremely important,” Elish responded in a tone covered in ice. “More important than all of our lives. Prepare yourselves, the king is going to be out of his mind with emotion. He will be different than what you’re used to; handle it like chimera adults or I will break your skulls.”

“Yes, Master Elish,” Jack and I both said. As the elevator stopped and the doors opened I reflected on the previous night when every single one of us was naked and in each other’s arms. Even Elish and I if Jack’s smirking admission was indeed correct. What I had deduced that night had come to pass, lovers for our family gatherings, but the next morning we stepped back into our shoes and became brothers, masters, and submissives again.

Elish walked ahead of us, when he rested a hand against the door he glared at the two of us. “Let me go in first, stay in the shadows where you two belong, am I understood?”

“Yes, Master Elish,” Jack and I said again, and Elish opened the one of the double oak doors and glided in.

“DID YOU SEE THAT!” I heard Silas scream. My face fell. King Silas sounded like he was in absolute agony, he sounded like his heart was getting ripped out of his chest.

Immediately I headed towards the door, Jack tried to grab my arm but I jerked it away. Silas had dealt with me at my worst, it was time for me to repay him for his patience and kindness.
