"Exactly." Romy said and blew on his finger nails and rubbed them against his shirt.

Jordan slapped his arm jokingly and then said. "Call everyone back in here so we can talk about this, maybe if we go through it with all of them. We will see if we were reading it too literally."

"Before we do that, we have to talk." Romy grinned at Larkin. They had a secret, one that Jordan had not figured out yet, but they had to tell her. This morning when they had snuck into the back library and had a little good morning sex, they had scented her.

She was pregnant.

"Now, really, guys this is too important," she said and tried to walk away.

"So is this, very important." Larkin said and grabbed her hand and brought her back to them and sat her on their laps. "When we were in the library this morning, we discovered something."

Jordan opened her eyes wide and looked around to make sure no one was actually listening to them. "Not so loud."

"I am going to shout it from the roof top's babe." Romy said and hugged her tightly.

"Huh?" she said.

"Honey, when we had sex this morning, we both noticed a change in your scent, and we didn't talk about it until a few hour ago. Then all this came up, now that we have you alone we have to tell you."

"Oh my, what do I have a disease? Can cats scent that? Shit, I have to call Cloe; I'm still human. I can die remember," she said with a panicked tone.

Romy laughed, "First of all, no you are not dying, and your life is tied to ours now remember. We have nine lives. You just have a strong case of pregnancy."

Jordan frowned. "No I am not; we took the test a few days ago remember, no plus sign.

I know Cloe said there was nothing wrong, and now that I have been healed, we’ve been trying, but it takes time. Cloe said we needed to relax and not put so much pressure on ourselves."

"The test was wrong sweetie. You are definitely with child, our child." Larkin said and kissed her.

When she was able to catch a breath, she said, "Seriously?"

"I scent at least one kitten." Romy said and grinned.

Jordan felt the tears gather in her eyes again. Damn she cried when she was upset, sad, and now happy. Her tear ducts were getting a work over.

"Can we tell my parents first?” she said and grinned when they nodded.

Chapter 20

Trinity walked towards the council room and stopped when she heard the loud voices coming from inside. It sounded like everyone was talking at once, and she couldn’t understand what any of them was saying. She was the quietest in the group, never really raising her voice or talking loud. It was how she was brought up, not to be seen or heard. She was getting better with the help of her mates. Blaze and Lagon were anything but quiet, in fact; she thought she could hear Lagon arguing about some tattoo.

She paused just inside the door and then put her fingers in her mouth letting out a loud whistle. "Hey, what the heck is going on in here?" she said and looked around the room.

Everyone stopped and looked at her in surprise. She rarely took control like this so it was a shock.

"Now who would like to go first?" she said and walked into the room and took her seat.

The rest of them followed suit, and she grinned when her mates kissed her on the head and then rubbed her stomach sweetly.

"Let's start at the beginning shall we?" Romy said and proceeded to inform all of them what they had found in the book.

Everyone took notes and then looked astonished when they realized what this meant.

Kira leaned forward and said. "So what you are saying is the visions we have been having are not really for us?"

"No I think they are for us, it’s just that we have to adjust our thinking. We have been too narrow in our thoughts; this is more than a one-dimensional situation. There are thirteen of us, all with mates, and most with children. We are speaking on behalf of more than a dozen species; we should have realized that it would not end with just us claiming our seats. It’s the first step in the destiny they have laid out for us. And we need to expand our viewpoint and begin to really embrace what our jobs, here are about.

Shea will be lining up contacts for us to reveal ourselves, but it is not like we can take an ad out in the paper. I mean, what would we say? 'Hey humans, you are not alone?' We would end up in the funny farm or worse, they would capture us and do tests. No, we have to solve the rift inside our species before we move ahead. And we need to stop relying on just one vision to explain to us where we should go. Hey, we have brains, and we know what we are supposed to do, all of us doing our jobs will lead to the reveal."

Larkin said, and the others nodded.

"Quin and Jaden really need to know these things," Darien said grimly, and they looked around the room as everyone nodded. "We have found out too much in the last few hours."

They all shifted uncomfortably as they felt a power filling the room. Kira held up her hand and said, "Speak of the devil."

There was a loud bang and a commotion as the thirteen who had left suddenly appeared in front of them. Dalton and the females were the only ones who stood on their feet.

"Damnit Dalton, you said on the count of three." Jaden yelled and then jumped up.

Dalton shrugged and said. "Your lovely mates had no problem counting."

Quin growled and looked around the room. "Blaine," he said in warning, and Blaine grinned and shrugged his shoulders. "Sorry Alpha I can't do anything about that."

"Why is everyone here?” Cami said curiously.

"Meeting, we have something to talk about." Cloe said and pointed to the chairs.

Jo sniffed and said. "So do we, but let's hear yours first." It took over an hour for them all to tell what had happened in the last few hours. Cloe and her mates talked about the tattoo, Lacy the phone call, and Jordan the book.

"Well, we found Shea's parents and have an idea of what’s going on. I think you were all correct; the Rogue’s have taken on a new leader and new purpose. We’re going to have to adjust our thinking. But one thing I can tell you all there was another clan of Fae in the Northern part of Ireland. They along with Adian and Shea's parents are on their way here now, the traditional way. One of the Fae elders said they had been waiting for us to contact them. Argus, your letter had just arrived. They were planning to offer their services to the Pack. The great news is that with their powers and the rest of us.

Milliken and the Pack compound will be safe. Even though our battle lies beyond these walls we will now have a true sanctuary." Quin said and then Trinity raised her hand.

Now the Alphas were here she didn't want to step on any toes, but she was staring at the tattoo the Teagan had shown them, and she thought of something.

"Can I go back to the tattoo?" she asked, and Quin nodded. She pulled out the paper that she and her mates had been working on for the last few weeks. She knew that Argus had a list of the different beings that he knew of, but they had never thought about working together.

Blaze said, "When our mate shifts she has markings on her coat. It is of all the species that fall under our Council. We have been drawing them all, so we could add them to Argus's book. We also wanted to make sure when someone asked to make a community that we were aware of what that entailed."

Quin nodded and Argus said, "I was already planning on coming to you."

"It’s the symbols on the tattoo.” Trinity said and held up her paper. All of them are on my wolf’s hide."

Quin frowned, took the paper from her, and then looked at the tattoo again. He raised his eyebrows and looked at Blaine. "When did you have this dream?"

"Hell years ago, Cloe and I talked about it. Since we have had so many people join, they have all used this tattoo as a mark of the Warriors and Enforcers. We have at least a hundred men and women with this mark now. The only difference is the animals, or if they are not a shifter they have a symbol." Blaine said.

"Interesting, Cloe we need to talk to you dada again about the man who he spoke to,"

Quin said, and Cloe nodded.

Trinity walked back to the Bed and Breakfast for the last time. Their house was complete, and everything should have been moved to it. That was why she had been late to the meeting. She wished everyone could say the same thing; she would miss the camaraderie they shared when they stayed here. But it was time. The only ones waiting were Argus and Trace. Argus was set to move in the next three weeks, and now Shea was here. She wondered where they would build. Griff had a nice home already, but all the Council members had to live on the compound grounds.

She laughed when she saw her large dragon mate flying in the sky. He was doing his patrols before they went to their new home. His chief job, was training the children and making sure, they were protected. He was serious about his job. She loved him for it.

And she could not wait to see how he reacted when their own children were born.

As a dragon, Lagon could only be seen by the Council and the children. No one knew they compound was protected by a dragon given to them by the spirits. He loved playing tricks on some of the Enforcers, but Blaze had made sure that lately he has refrained from doing it. Since the last time, they had locked down the place when one of the Enforcers reported that a car was flying over the wall.

She screamed as she felt Blaze behind her lift her in his arms and carry her rest of the way to the Bed and Breakfast.

"I thought you were supposed to carry me over the new house's threshold," she teased and laughed when Lagon landed in front of them and bent his pretty red face down and wiggled his eyebrows.

"I can fly you there," Lagon said.

Blaze rolled his eyes and said, "Shift."

"You are such a stick in the mud," Lagon said.

"No I am the sane one in this relationship, remember." Blaze smirked and then walked to the door and held it open for her.

"One last check of the room?"

"Yep. Then we are going home.” She said happily, and they walked into the foyer. She felt a sadness flow over her as she looked around the place she had called home for the last few months. Her arrival was so traumatic; it seemed like a lifetime ago that they had arrived here.

Her parents and Mr. Spencer were both taking up residence here. Spencer had been offered a place on the Elders adviser board from Trace and was eagerly awaiting their first meeting. Her parent had bought a cute bungalow outside of the compound walls, and insisted that they wanted to be close to her. Now that she knew, why they had wanted her to be hidden all those years, she felt more relaxed around them.

They entered their room for the last time, and she looked at the bare walls. All of their things had been taken, and the room looked exactly like the first day she had walked in here bare walls and hotel looking bedroom furniture. Trinity sighed and then stepped to the bathroom to make sure all of their necessities had been taken.

Finally satisfied that they were completely moved she walked back into the room and gasped at the sight in front of her. Her men were naked and laying on the bed together.

"What’s going on?" she said slyly.

"Well, I think we need to give the room a little good bye, don't you?" Blaze said and rubbed his hand up and down his cock.

Trinity licked her lips, smiled, and nodded. "Have I told you lately what and extremely intelligent man you are?"

"Hey what about me?” Lagon said and pouted.

"That goes without saying," she said and began to take off her clothes. Her men found that her baby bump was sexy, both of them loved to rub her stomach and talk to the babies who were inside of her. They knew one was a boy, and one was a girl; Lagon had been able to talk to them already. He told them that they wanted to help choose their own names. So Lagon was reading a ‘name the baby’ book to them each night.

The rest of the Council already knew that one of them was a dragon also. Trinity and her mates had been shocked as well, and Lagon had called upon the spirits; they had been very cryptic about the whole thing. As long as they were healthy, she did not care.

Chapter 21

It had been three weeks since everyone had returned to the Pack compound. May was halfway over and they were all still gathering information and working their own contacts trying to get information to bring to the meeting tomorrow.

Argus, Jacob, and Skye were ready to move into their new home soon. Skye was on the computer, making a hard copy of his books. Argus didn’t want to have only the one copy lying around. Jacob had pointed out that if they lost it, it would take months to rewrite.

Jacob was arranging the books for Skye to make it easier, while Argus was confirming the head of the communities that were still in existence. Many times groups were added to his list because of the people he came in contact with. But the way things were going; he wasn’t sure what was going on?

Cami was in the office bugging him about letting her take a peek at the different shifters and magical beings he accrued. He told her she had to wait until he verified things. It did not make the small Alpha happy.

“Skye, we wanted to talk to you before the meeting." Jacob said hesitantly and then looked at Argus for some support.

Skye looked up, saw the looks on their faces, and mistook what she saw and said. "No I will not make your mothers happy and walk down the aisle to "God Bless Texas,” Bama would kill me if I even suggested it."

Both men laughed, and Argus said. "Not that honey. We wanted to talk to you about something else."

"You know that we have to have children and all.” Jacob said nervously, and Sky smiled.

"Well, duh, I thought we had given it the good ole college try over the last few days."

Argus shifted on his feet looking nervous, and she narrowed her eyes and looked closer at him. Something was wrong; she was not sure what it was but something was on their minds. "Well you know how my mom said that we could push you into heat and therefore, make you fertile."

"Yea, I thought we talked about though, you said when I go into heat it would be like a crazy fuckfest, and we have been too busy to actually plan that out. We need like three or four days free. Can you look at the schedule and see when we can do it?" she said and frowned.
