I felt his cock throb against my clit. He rocked up and down a few times, until my legs settled around him.

"That's it," he whispered, slipping his hands beneath my dress. He cupped my breasts and his fingers found my nipples. He massaged them gently at first, then harder. Pinching, pulling, flicking. "Do you like that?"

I did and that surprised me. I didn't think I'd feel anything more than shame, but I did. I felt hot, and wet, and... I wasn't sure what I was feeling.

He reached up and released my hands from the headboard. "Are you letting me go?"

He laughed, the sound dancing over me like music. "No, I'm not through with you yet. We're just getting started."

He slipped my dress over my head and tossed it across the room. Before I had a chance to move, he had my arms again and retied them so I couldn't move. He reached for the bottle of champagne. "Drink?"

I nodded and he brought the bottle to my lips. I sipped, then gulped as champagne rolled out of my mouth and down my chin to my neck. He pulled the bottle away and licked the spill off of my body.

"You taste so good," he murmured. Then poured more on my skin. It rolled between my breasts, down my stomach to pool in my bellybutton. He followed the trail with his tongue, licking, kissing, drinking from my body. He lapped the champagne from my bellybutton and I laughed.

"That tickles!"

He laughed, too. A rich, smooth laugh that fluttered across my skin like a thousand butterflies. "In a good way, I hope."

I nodded. His tongue felt like hot velvet, his lips like strands of silk. His hands moved over the curves and contours of my body like he was following a map and it led him all the way down to my panties. He slipped them off this time. His dark hair fell across his face, but couldn't shadow the wanting in his eyes. He wrapped his hands around my ass and pulled me to him. His lips warm against me. My legs parted, unbidden, inviting more. He traced around my pussy with his lips. His tongue was molten lava as it slid over the folds of my clit and slipped inside me. He probed deep, firm and fast. I wrapped my fingers through his hair and thrust my hips up to meet his mouth. I could feel myself growing wetter, hotter as he licked faster, sucked harder. Pleasure spiraled through my body as he brought me to the edge of orgasm.

I sucked in a ragged breath. "Stop. I can't take it anymore!"

He lifted his head and wiped my juices from his mouth. "Is that what you really want?" His breath was like silk on my skin and I shivered.

I hesitated. I wasn't sure what I wanted anymore. I never expected to feel like this. To want him. To need him.

He rubbed his thumb in tiny circles on my clit. Light enough that I could catch my breath. Firm enough that my legs still tingled with anticipation. A raw moan escaped my throat and he smiled like a shark, his dark eyes dancing in the candlelight.

"I didn't think so."

He slipped a finger inside me, and then another. He curled them gently, finding my g-spot with alarming ease. His fingers slipped in and out of me, and I ground against his hand as he buried it up to the knuckles. I thrust and jerked my body, wanting, needing release. His thumb drifted lower and he used it to caress a different hole. I whimpered as his thumb slipped inside me too.

"Oh, God..." I breathed, losing control. He worked his fingers in and out of me, going deeper, pushing hard. Relentless. My body moved to the same rhythm as his hand. My breaths grew quick and sharp as he sent me over. Waves of pleasure crashed through me as I reached climax. He pulled out his fingers and took me into his mouth, sucking up every drop of my come. I ground against his face as the feeling washed over me, then slowly ebbed to a dull ache.

I fell back on the bed, stunned, breathless. "This isn't what I expected," I admitted on a fractured breath.

He lifted his head and smiled. "And just what exactly did you expect?"

"I... I'm not sure. I thought you..."

"Would what? Get off on you a few times then pass out?"

I nodded, still panting too hard to answer. I took a slow, deep breath and relaxed. "Something like that."

His lips turned down. "I care about you... very much. I hope you know that."

A raw laugh ripped from my throat. "You don't know me," I argued and wasn't sure why.

He reached out and took my chin in his hand and turned my face so I had to look at him. "I know enough." He kissed me gently. "I know everything I need to."

I brushed a shock of long, dark hair from his eyes, not sure what to say. He had touched my body so softly, so tenderly. Caressed every inch of my skin, so obviously wanting but taking nothing. Could he really...?

No, I assured myself. He could have my body, take it anyway he wanted, but I would not open my emotions to him. I hadn't come here tonight to be hurt and I wouldn't leave brokenhearted. I'd lived too much of my life that way.

He untied my wrists then, keeping his eyes from mine. Even still, I caught the shadow of pain etched into the lines around his mouth. He rubbed my wrists, massaging feeling back into my arms.

"This night was never about me," he whispered so softly I almost missed the words. "It was for you. It was all for you."

"What... what do you mean?"

He let go of my hands and patted my knee in a decidedly paternal fashion. "I'm not an idiot. I know why you came here tonight."

I flushed a blistering red, embarrassed though I don't know why. I'd been willing to give him what he wanted. But... he hadn't taken it. Why? I rolled over so I wouldn't have to see the hurt in his eyes and studied the pattern on the carpet for a long moment.

"I'm sorry. My niece... I-"

"Please, don't. I understand. And it's been taken care of."

"What?"

"Your niece. Her medical bills. I've taken care of it."

"All of it?"

He nodded. "Yes. Everything."

I sat up and stared at him, too stunned to speak. I didn't know what to say. My head was spinning with the impossibility of what he'd said. "But... why? How did you know?"

"I care about you and that means I care about everything you care about."

I'd mentioned my niece before, but only in passing. I'd never expected him to actually listen, to really care.

"You deserve to be happy and I'd do anything to be the one to bring you that happiness."

I shook my head. My life had never been about what I deserved, but what I was willing to take and how that would affect everyone else. "I don't deserve anything from you."

"Look at me."

"Don't... please," I said, fighting the threat of tears.

"Look at me," he said again and knelt down in front of me so I couldn't look away. "You're beautiful. There's no denying that. But you're so much more than a pretty face. You're caring, self-sacrificing. You're everything I have ever wanted, and I adore you. Do you hear me? I love you."

I stared into his warm brown eyes for a long moment, beyond words.

He looked away, sighed. His voice dropped an octave. "I know that might not mean much to you..."

"No... It means everything," I said as I took his face in my hands and kissed him gently.
