After hearing her message, he started feeling a little guilty about having dinner with Susan. He immediately called Monica back to see how her weekend was going.

Once he finished talking to her, he decided to get into the shower. He wanted so desperately to call Susan to say goodnight and to see if she had actually gone on a date.

While he was deciding whether he should call her, his cell phone rang. He immediately answered.

“Hey! What are you doing right now?” Susan asked.

“I’m not doing anything. I was about to jump in the shower and head to bed. Why?” questioned Ken.

“My date cancelled on me and I’m already at the club. I was hoping if you’re not tired that perhaps you could meet me for a drink.”

He knew he should stay home but instead he chose to meet her at the club. When he arrived, Susan was sitting at a secluded table away from the crowd. It took him a few minutes to find her.

As soon as he approached her table, she escorted him to the dance floor. They danced for several songs and he began to relax and have a great time.

Between dances, she kept trying to get him to drink.

“Do you want a drink?” she asked after their third dance.

“I had enough to drink at the restaurant. Besides if I drink too much I may not make it home. I want to be able to drive,” he said jokingly.

“Well I’m going to drink as much as I want to,” she said, taking a sip of her drink.

“Don’t you think you need to slow down, baby?” he asked.

“I can handle myself,” she laughed.

“If you keep this up you’re going to need help getting home,” he warned.

“Don’t worry about me, baby, just enjoy yourself,” she said as she kissed him on the neck.

“Okay, baby, if you say so.”

“I feel sexy tonight and you look so damn good,” she said as she began rubbing and caressing him.

He knew he should push her away but part of him wanted to feel her body against his.

He chose not to stop her. When the dance was over she wanted to keep going but he insisted that they take a break.

“You’re not getting tired on me are you?” she joked.

“I’ve been up all day. I’m a little tired,” he said.

“Don’t get tired on me yet. I’m going to go to the ladies room and when I come back, we’re going to dance, mister,” she said as she put her arms around him and kissed his earlobe.

On her way back to her seat from the restroom, a man asked her if she wanted to dance and she said yes.

Ken began wondering what was taking her so long to get back. As he looked around the room, he saw her on the dance floor dancing provocatively with both a man and a woman.

He started getting jealous and excited at the same time. She looked in his direction and noticed him watching.

She decided she was going to make him more jealous. She started kissing the man on the neck while rubbing up against him.

In response to her, the stranger began rubbing her back and attempting to slide his hands up the side of her dress. As he was doing that, her female dance partner was still dancing behind her.

This time she had moved in closer to Susan and began touching her breast and her ass. Susan did nothing to stop them.

Ken saw what was happening and immediately approached them and asked if he could cut in. Susan smiled and told him yes.

It was 2 a.m. when they finally left the club. “Baby, you are too intoxicated to drive home. Let me take you. You can take a cab in the morning to pick up your car,” he said.

“I don’t want to leave my car at the club all night. I can make it home. I’m not that drunk. Besides, I don’t live too far from here,” she slurred.

“Okay, then I’ll follow you home to make sure you make it safely,” he said.

Once they got to her apartment, Susan had some trouble getting out of her car. She was not as intoxicated as she pretended but she knew if he saw her stumbling that he would help her inside.

After helping her into her apartment he told her that he needed to go. Somehow, she convinced him to stay for a cup of coffee.

“If you don’t mind, I’m going to take a shower. I smell like cigarette smoke and it’s driving me crazy,” said Susan.

“No problem. Take your time.”

“Thanks. Make yourself at home and I’ll make the coffee as soon as I finish,” said Susan.

Ken was very nervous. The thought of her naked in the shower so close drove him crazy.

He was hoping that she would come out wearing something sexy and revealing to give him an excuse to have sex with her. He decided that the only way they would become intimate was if she made the first move.

She was intentionally taking a long time in the shower. She knew that he had not gone to the restroom at the club and she figured it was about time for him to go.

She was right. After about twenty minutes, he knocked on the door and told her that he needed to get in. She told him to come on in. So far her plan was working.

Ken could see her silhouette through the shower curtain. His eyes began to wander and he started getting excited. Before he could leave the bathroom, Susan asked him if he would hand her a towel.

When he told her he couldn’t find the towels, she stepped out of the shower without one. Ken was speechless. Before he knew it, he had her against the wall and was kissing her passionately.

They quickly moved to her bedroom and from this point on their relationship changed.

Ken didn’t know how he should feel. He and Susan had been platonic friends for five months. He thought of her as a close friend, a confidant. Now that they slept together he knew things would be different.

As he drove home the next morning, he couldn’t believe how magical his night with Susan was. When he arrived home, he felt a little different. He was not expecting Monica until Sunday so he decided he would go to the gym.

After his workout, he called his buddy Jake to see if they could meet for lunch. He thought about calling Susan but he wasn’t sure if this was a good idea since their relationship had moved to the next level.

During lunch with Jake, he wanted to boast about his night with Susan but he knew it wouldn’t be wise. Jake did most of the talking, as usual, telling Ken about his fiancée Camille and his friend Cindy. He explained that Camille kept pressuring him to get married. He admitted that she is a wonderful woman and that he loves her. But he confessed he wasn’t yet ready to get married.

While Jake was talking, Ken was thinking about his evening with Susan. He decided that after lunch he would call to see how she was doing.

As soon as he and Jake finished, he called Susan from the car. To his surprise her voicemail came on. He expected her to answer. He remembered her saying that she didn’t have any plans.

Slightly irritated, he decided to call his in-laws to see how Marci was doing. They asked if he was picking her up later that day, and he lied and told them that he had to go into the office but would pick her up tomorrow. He wanted to enjoy one more day of pretending that he had no responsibilities.

He decided to go home. He wanted to call Susan again but decided not to. After three hours had passed he was surprised that she had not called him. He thought their night together was special for the both of them. He didn’t know that this was all part of her plan. She intentionally didn’t call him nor answer his calls. She wanted to see how badly he desired to see her again.

Later that evening he called her again. This time she answered. She mentioned nothing about their time together. She was very pleasant and asked him about his afternoon.

When he asked her about her day she told him that she had lunch with her friend Jeff. Ken didn’t know what to say.

He knew he had no justification to get angry nor did he have the right to ask questions about her relationship with Jeff. He found himself getting a little jealous.

He asked her if she wanted to have dinner that evening. She told him that she already had dinner plans with Jeff. He thought it best not to say anything to change her mind about her plans, so he told her to have a good time.

She didn’t expect this response from him. She hoped he would ask her to cancel.

Ken decided that since she didn’t mention their sleeping together he was going to try to leave it alone and never bring it up again. He picked Marci up from his in-laws’ house so they could spend the rest of the weekend together.

Later that evening, around 10 p.m., his cellular phone rang. Since it was downstairs he decided to let the voicemail answer it. He knew Monica would call the house line.

After about ten minutes, the house phone starting ringing. Ken answered it without looking at the caller id because he assumed it was his wife.

“Hello,” said Ken.

To his surprise, Susan was on the other end.

“Hi Ken, I hate to call you at home but you didn’t answer your cell phone.”

He was speechless, mainly because she had called his home phone after he specifically asked her to delete the number.

“Susan, I thought you removed my home number from your telephone,” said Ken.

“I meant to but never got around to it. Anyway, I was calling to see if you want to meet for drinks tonight,” she said.

“That’s impossible. I picked up my daughter from her grandparents and she’s in bed asleep,” he said.

“Why did you pick her up so early? You know this is our last evening to have some fun before your wife returns,” Susan retorted.

He was a bit confused because she had told him she had other plans. “I thought you said you had plans tonight,” he said.

“I did but I decided to cancel them so I could be with you. I’ll tell you what. Since you can’t leave home then maybe I can come to your house for a quick drink,” replied Susan.

“That is not a good idea,” he said quickly.

“I’m only coming for a drink and nothing more.”

“Okay, but just one drink.” Ken gave her directions to his house.

When Susan arrived he escorted her to the den.

“You look good. Have a seat and make yourself comfortable while I fix us a drink,” he told her.

“You have a lovely home. Any woman would love to live here,” she said.

They sat and talked for about two hours when he heard a noise from upstairs. As he headed up the stairs he saw Marci coming out of her room.

“Daddy, I had a bad dream,” said Marci.

“That’s okay, baby, Daddy’s here. Let’s get you back in bed,” said Ken nervously.

“Can you stay with me until I fall back to sleep? Please Daddy,” asked Marci.

“I’ll stay for a few minutes but I need for you to be a big girl and go back to sleep without me,” he said.

After putting her back in bed, he went back into the den. Susan was sitting on the couch in a seductive position. He noticed she was not wearing any underwear.

Before he could stop her, she jumped up, unzipped his pants and sat on top of him.

“I can’t do this, not here. We need to stop in case Marci wakes up again,” said Ken.

“Don’t worry, baby, I’ll be finished soon,” replied Susan.

“You’re something else. You get me so excited,” said Ken, pulling her closer.

When they finished he told her it was getting late and he thought it best that she leave. She agreed and kissed him goodbye.

Part of Ken felt ashamed for bringing her to his house and part of him felt excited. He had never met anyone like her before. He found himself doing things he normally would not do. Whenever he and Susan were together he felt like a new man. She awakened him sexually in ways he had never experienced before. She made him feel alive.

The next evening Monica returned from her vacation. Ken thought he would surprise her by taking her and Marci out to dinner. After dinner, they put Marci to bed and they were able to spend some time together.

They shared a very intimate and enjoyable night. She thanked him for the wonderful Mother’s Day weekend as she turned out the light.

The next few weeks were hectic for Ken at work. He had a few big projects he had to work on that required him to work late nights.

Susan called a few times and each time he spoke with her he could only talk for a few minutes. She asked what she had done that caused him to dismiss her every time she tried talking to him. He tried to explain that he had some deadlines he had to meet and that he was not intentionally ignoring her.
