Acknowledgements

Thanks to Bonnie Tessler for suggesting the mechanics of a murder: no one looking at her would ever guess she'd do it so well! Puteh Shaharizan Shaari, Shahmim Dhilawala and Ashikin Mohd Ali Flindall were, as always, very helpful and encouraging. Zdena Nemeckova and Valerie Vogel read the drafts without complaint, and Eileen Alterbaum remains doubtful. Michele Andre was, and is, unflaggingly interested, and Mary Murphy ever supportive. Richard Lord deserves thanks as a peerless editor, and Philip Tatham as a peerless publisher. Without Doug Raybeck's teaching and mentoring, I never would have been able to do any of this. And my daughters, Jerushah and Arielle, are just wonderful, and truly make life worth living.
