“Oh, shit,” Tahj roared. “Oh, shit! Damn.”

“Um, hmm. Um, hmm,” Leonard said, still eating Tahj, but managing to pull his dick out of his pants and start stroking it. “Oh, yeah, baby. Oh, yeah.”

Tahj grabbed Leonard's head and began ramming it into her pussy, making his mouth thrash harder and harder against her clit. “Oh, Leonard,” she caught herself yelling.
No, this mgga didn’t make me scream out his name,
she thought as she gripped his head and prepared to cum again.

“Ummm. Ummm. Ummm,” he moaned as he jacked off while eating her pussy.

“Oh, yeah,” Tahj said, closing her eyes. “Oh, yeah. Oh, shit!” she shouted as she exploded once again down Leonard's throat.

“Oh, yeah, baby. Oh, yeah,” Leonard said as he threw his head back and proceeded to nut in his hand. He sat there trembling as he jerked.

Tahj was speechless. No one had ever made her feel that good—ever. Neither a tongue nor a dick had pleased her the way Leonard had. It was a feeling she wanted the world to know about.

“Damn, baby,” Tahj moaned. “That shit was off the hook.”

“Umm, you taste so good,” Leonard said, licking his lips. “Just like I knew you would.”

“Baby, I hope you don't mind,” Tahj said, “but I got to call my girl up and tell her about this.”

Leonard smiled at Tahj's cute remark—until she actually got her phone out and started dialing.

“Hey, Keisha,” Tahj said into her cell phone. ”Girl, you ain't gon’ believe the way this nigga just ate my pussy out. This dude you was telling me about ain't got shit on him. Girl, I'm telling
you. But I can't just tell you about it; you gotta shoot over my way and come feel it for yourself”

Just then Tahj put her hand over the phone and whispered to Leonard, “You don't mind, do you?”

Leonard's mouth dropped open. He couldn't believe his ears. He just sat there staring at Tahj. He couldn't begin to muster up the words to respond to her query.

Tahj took Leonard's silence as a yes. “Good,” she said, turning her attention back to her phone conversation with Keisha. “Girl, we parked out in front of my house in a yellow Hummer. Hurry up,” Tahj said excitedly. Tahj hung up her cell phone and turned to Leonard, who was still sitting there in shock. She smiled at him, then said, “Good lookin’ out,” as she waited for Keisha to show up and get her pussy ate, too.

CHAPTER FIVE
RETARD

It had been four days since Lee had been back in town. He hadn't even talked of heading back out again. This was the longest spell he had stayed home in a while. He normally did that only when there was some serious business he had to take care of at home. This put a halt to Tahj's running the streets and hanging out with her ghetto girls, but she enjoyed being with Lee all the same.

He thought that Tahj was probably tired of sitting in the house, so he gave her money to go to the spa to get her out. Of course, Tahj didn't go to no damn spa. She could think of better ways to use that money someday, so instead she bought a six-pack of Smirnoff Apple Twist and hung out with Shea and Keisha over at Shea's house. After chillin’ with them for a couple of hours, she headed back to her house. On her way home she stopped off and
bought a bottle of massage oil. She figured she'd tell Lee it was a gift she bought for him at the spa.

“Baby, I'm home,” Tahj yelled as she walked in the door. She couldn't help but notice the nice set of Louis Vuitton luggage that was sitting in the foyer.

Lee was on the couch. He had just finished doing a line when Tahj came in the door.

“Baby, I bought you something back from the spa,” Tahj said, as if she were singing her words. Lee didn't seem to get excited like he usually did. As a matter of fact, he remained emotionless. “Did you hear what I said? I bought you something.”

Lee looked over at Tahj, examining her. Lately he hadn't just sat back and taken in the girl he was sharing his bed with. She was the same girl he had picked up off the curb, but at the same time, he could see where she had very much changed. Unfortunately, it wasn't for the better. “See that right there?” Lee said, pointing to the luggage. “I bought you something, too. I was going to wait and give it to you on your birthday.” Lee picked up the mirror that was on the table, snorted a line, then put the mirror back down. “But that was before I found out everything.” He paused, sniffing and rubbing his nose.

Tahj stood there, dumbfounded, not knowing what the fuck was going on.

“Lee, baby, what are you tal—”

“I even packed up all the clothes and shit I've bought you,” he said, cutting her off. ”I ain't trippin'. You can have it all. Ain't gon’ fit the next broad no how. I normally prefer them a little thicker than you. But even so, you can have the shit. I gave it to you, so it's yours. See, I ain't one of them punk-ass niggas you probably be out there fuckin’ with that will buy a bitch shit, trickin’ and shit. But just as soon as they find out she sucking some other nigga's dick they want her to check that shit in. Naw, Fma let you have it
all, ‘cause that's just the type of cool muthafucka I am. Now take all that expensive shit I done bought your stank ass and get the fuck out, beyatch!”

Tahj's heart dropped as her eyes began to water. Suddenly she was experiencing that same feeling again—it was that feeling she remembered all too well, the one that overcame her the night her mother had put her out onto the streets. Tahj thought that her mother calling her a bitch hurt, but for some reason it hurt even more when Lee said it. Her mother had probably let her anger get the best of her when she called her daughter out of her name. But Lee, that nigga said it like he meant that shit.

“I hear you got a slick-ass mouth,” Lee said. “They say you can put words together real good. What's the matter? Ain't got shit to say now?”

In all actuality, there was so much that Tahj wanted to say, but she had to collect herself. If she had opened her mouth to talk right then she would probably have burst into tears. So instead, she swallowed, took a deep breath, and then began to speak.

“Baby, I don't know what's going on or who you been talking to, but I lov—”

“Bitch, please,” Lee said, holding up his hand to shut her up. “Like that broad Michel'le used to sing back in the day, ‘No More Lies.’ Take heed to that.” Lee threw his head back on the couch and allowed the coke to drip from his nose down his throat.

“Lee, I'm not lying. If you'd just let me—”

“Explain. … Is that what you're going to say?” Lee laughed as he stood up off of the couch and started walking toward Tahj. ”No need to explain. I know everything. I know about the niggas; hell, I even heard there were a couple of chicks. Wasn't I good enough for you, baby? I mean not the dick, ‘cause I ain't jealous over you giving the pussy up. The head, now that's a different story. That's some shit to be jealous of, ‘cause you do the damn
thang when it comes to that shit, but I ain't even trippin’ off of that. I'm talking about wasn't this enough for you? All of this?”

Lee raised his arms in the air and spun around in a circle.

“Baby—” Tahj made yet another futile attempt to speak.

“Shhh, shhh, shhh,” Lee said, closing his eyes and putting his index finger over Tahj's lips. “Don't speak.” He paused, then opened his eyes. “There wasn't nothing you could have asked for that I wouldn't have given you. Girl, you ain't never asked me for nothing and didn't get it. Hell, half the time your ass didn't even have to ask. That's what's wrong with you young girls. Y'all want everything, but y'all so busy out there trying to get it from every Tom, Dick, and Harry that you don't even realize that you could have gotten it all in the first place from Tom. From just one source.” Tahj had tears flowing down her cheeks. Lee rubbed her chin with his finger. “Baby, I was your source.”

Lee walked away, and Tahj started behind him. Once again she found herself in a position with nowhere to go, only this time she was going to fight for her warm bed. Lee was right: She was good at using her mouthpiece. She had talked her way in and out of plenty. She had smooth-talked some of the best; now it was time to really put her skills to work. Fuck what Lee heard; she would make her words more convincing than the words of whoever decided to run their mouth about her.

“I'm sorry,” Tahj said. ”I don't know what you've heard or who you've heard it from, but I'm sure I can explain. It's probably just somebody who's jealous—who's jealous of you, who's jealous of me, hell, who's jealous of us. I know how muthafuckers out there Lee.”

After the first sentence, Lee paid Tahj not a lick of mind. He allowed her to ramble on as he walked over to the bar and began fixing himself a drink. After taking a sip, Lee picked up a remote that controlled the entertainment center. All of a sudden Tahj's
bare ass covered all sixty inches of the big-screen television. Seeing herself on the screen put a halt to Tahj's words. Lee would rewind and fast forward for her. Tahj was either fucking or getting fucked. She was sucking or getting sucked. He even had footage of her and Leonard parked in front of the house.

“You know, when I got all this equipment and shit, I got it to watch out for all those grimy muthafuckas out there who don't want a nigga to have shit. I got it for the police. Hell, I got it just to have peace of mind, you know? A nigga need a little security. But, baby girl, I never thought I'd need it for the woman I share my bed with. Or, I guess I should say the girl I share my bed with.” Lee took a deep breath, took a swig of his drink, then continued. “I knew you was young, and that was cool. You wasn't street-bred. You didn't know shit about the streets—evidently not, or else you would have known that a nigga of my stature would have eyes in and around all his shit. But that's what I liked about you. That's what made me think it was cool to take you in and shit. I deal with street bitches all the time, and that's just where they belong—in the street. But you was different. When I brought you into my home, I made it ours, because I felt assured that you were different, that there wasn't nothing street about you. But come to find out, you the muthafuckin’ black shit they pave the streets with.” Lee chuckled.

“It's not like that, Lee, and you know it,” Tahj said. There wasn't too much she could say, though. She had been caught on tape like a fuckin’ talk-show guest. She knew she was slick and had used her tongue to hustle a lot of shit, but she didn't know if she could grab hold of her G-string and pull her ass up out of this one. But anything was worth a try. Perhaps she would surprise herself. ”I've done some fucked-up shit. I do know that much. But, baby, I love you, and you love me, too. You must, because if you been watching me like that, then why did you allow me to
stay around this long? I know why. Because you love me and you know I love you, too, and I'd never intentionally do anything to hurt you.”

“You didn't think muthafuckas up in my house, probably in my bed, drinking and eating up my shit while they fuckin’ my woman, would hurt me? All of this while I'm out grindin', trying to keep shit tight, and you can't even keep your pussy tight for me. I should have left your ass on the curb where I found you. You ain't no better than your mama.”

Tahj immediately charged Lee, swinging on him, scratching and clawing until he was able to restrain her by the wrists.

“Fuck you!” Tahj yelled. “Fuck you! I'm nothing like her. Nothing like my mother.”

Lee just shook his head and smiled. “Yeah, you're right. You ain't like your mother.” He paused. “You're worse. And I don't know why I didn't put your ass out sooner. I guess I just wanted to give you a chance. I guess I was looking for a reason. But that's the reason right there, ‘cause you just like your sorry-ass mama.”

Tahj angrily tried to release her hands from Lee's grip, and when that wouldn't work she spit in his face. Again Lee laughed.

“Get out,” he said, releasing her arms. “Get the fuck out!” he shouted, his voice now a complete rage. “Zon, help Ms. Cortez with her bags, please.”

Just then a man came from out of the kitchen. He was dressed in a nice suit with a pair of gaiters, a hat with a feather on the side, and sunglasses. He looked familiar, but with the sunglasses on Tahj couldn't place him.

“It would be my pleasure,” the man said as he pushed up the brim of his hat and removed his sunglasses. Tahj's mouth dropped when she realized that it was Ray, the retard.

“Ray?” Tahj said with a confused look on her face. “Wha … what's going on?” she stammered.

Zon and Lee couldn't help but chuckle at the shocked expression on Tahj's face.

“Well, hello, there, Miss Lady,” Zon said, speaking as clear as ever. “Oh, and the name is Rayzon, but you can still call me Ray if you'd like. I'll take your bags to your car.” Zon winked at Tahj, put his sunglasses back on, and pulled his hat down as he proceeded to carry her luggage out to her car.

Tahj just stood there. She had been caught for sure, and there was no talking her way out of shit. She just looked up at Lee, shook her head, and smirked. Wasn't no use trippin'. What was done was done. The good thing about it, though, was that there was a lesson behind it all. Tahj learned that the next time, like Shannon Holmes's book said, she'd have to
B-More Careful!

Getting thrown out by Lee hurt Tahj. She'd known that day would eventually come, but she had no idea it would be so soon. For some reason, she'd thought that it would be because of some ol’ dirty shit Lee had done to her. For the first time in her life, Tahj didn't feel good about the shit she had done. Never truly giving her and Lee an honest-to-God chance might have been one of her biggest mistakes ever. By her preparing for the worst, the worst came. Perhaps she should have prepared for the best. But it was too late to worry about it now. Her bed had been made. Hell, she didn't do so bad. She had a lot of nice shit, a car, and money in the bank.

With her Louis Vuitton luggage piled up in her car and her “the day will come” account, Tahj put the car in drive and slowly drove off. She didn't have any particular destination in mind, but she knew wherever she ended up, it would be on top.
