My hands flew to my percolated peaks. I
ran my fingers over them, rolling them. My muscles tightened, air
struggled to reach my lungs as my body climbed towards
ecstasy.

He leaned in near my ear. “Do you know
how bad I wish it was my cock instead of my fingers driving in and
out of your sweet, wet pussy right now?” I swallowed
hard.

He captured my lips moments before I
screamed at a third finger pummeling, stretching my channel. Warmth
from the ocean surrounded me; the heat of his body scorched my
flesh. I needed to get closer to him. I needed more of him. I
whimpered, fighting to reach the precipice of unadulterated
bliss.

All of a sudden, he yanked my suit
bottom to the side and drove into me; I cried out as pleasure shot
through me. Had it not been for his mouth covering mine, every
beach dweller would have known what we were doing. He drove in and
out of my pussy in quick short strokes. My body coiled tightly
around his infiltration. The moment his fingers rubbed my clit, I
bowled over. I bit his shoulder, sobbing into his flesh as my body
quivered in release. Every ligament warmed as pleasure spread
through my limbs. A concentrated passion filled my pussy as it
stroked Cruz’s cock. Goose pimples covered my skin despite the
temperature of the elements. I shivered as pleasure burst through
my womb again as his cock swelled. My vision blurred; I closed my
eyes as a second tremble of bliss coursed through me.

I unlocked my jaw. Pulling back, I
winced at the teeth marks indented into his skin. I gently kissed
the flesh I’d wounded in the heat of the moment. “I’m
sorry.”

“Don’t be. I like a bit of pain with my
pleasure.” I studied his face to see if he was teasing me, but
there was no hint of playfulness, only sincerity. That admission
probably should have scared me, but it didn’t.

It was then that I realized he’d
stopped moving. “You can finish.”

He smirked, his eyes creasing in the
corners as he watched me. “I already did. Twice.” His kissed my
nose, my forehead and my cheek before finally planting a quick kiss
on my lips.

Chapter 12

CRUZ

She smiled as she nestled up against
me. “I’ve never done it in the ocean before. Is there anyone on the
beach staring at us?”

I gazed toward the shore. First thing I
noticed was Rodriguez and his men were gone. I scanned the beach. A
few spectators had taken an interest in us, but I didn’t want her
to be self-conscious. I kissed her neck below her ear. “Nope. It
was just you and me.”

Her cheeks colored. “Then why do I feel
so dirty?”

“Well, the water probably isn’t the
cleanest, but the sex wasn’t dirty; it was perfect.” I pulled out
of her, re-covering her pussy with her bathing suit
bottoms.

“I’ll swim away so you can fix your
shorts.” She kissed my lips before shoving off and breaking into a
breaststroke. Her ass was tantalizing, her hips rocking with her
kicks near the water’s surface. I quickly yanked up my swim trunks
before I got another erection.

I dove after her, easily catching up
given our height difference. I yanked her at the waist and pulled
her into me as we walked the rest of the way to shore.

We found Stella and Ramon cuddling on a
couple of blue lounge chairs pulled together. The moment they saw
us, they both smiled knowingly. I winked at them as Summer blushed
profusely, her eyes focusing on the ground.

“Nice love bite, bro,” Ramon
laughed.

“Looks like you had an amazing time,
girl,” Stella teased.

“Would you stop,” Summer huffed,
sighing as her blush deepened.

“Girl, at some point, you just need to
own it. It’s God’s gift to every human.”

“I’d like another blessing then.” Ramon
nipped Stella’s shoulder.

She shook her head at him.
“Later.”

I admired her guts. She was direct and
unashamed of who she was or going after what she wanted.

“Fine. I’m hungry anyways.”
He pulled back to focus on me. “
Quiere
comida, jefe
?”

Stella spun around to face him fully.
“Heffay? Are you trying to call me a cow?” she shrieked, crossing
her arms over her chest as she slid away from him, glaring the
whole way.

I barely contained my laughter. I
glanced at Summer to see her trying to hold back as well.
Meanwhile, Ramon looked genuinely shocked. My poor friend. I
probably should have jumped to his defense, but watching him
fumble, as he rarely did, was too much fun.

“No! No!
Jefe
is not a
cow.”

“Oh really? Well, in English, a female
cow is also called a heffer, and heffay sounds a hell of a lot like
heffer.” Her eyes cut through him.

“I know it sounds alike,
but in Spanish it means boss. I would never call you a cow. You’re
my sexy
chocolate
.”
Ramon tried to get closer to her, but she shook her
head.

“Cruz, translate. And no exchanging
googly eyes with Ramon ahead of time to bail him out.” She meant
business, so I relented.

“He’s telling the truth, and he was
referring to me, not you.” I crossed my arms over my
chest.

“He is telling the truth, Stel. My high
school Spanish teacher was named Mr. Jefe. Some kids used to tease
him because he was overweight, and, well, you get the connection.
Anyways, he posted the translation in the classroom. It didn’t stop
the kids from saying stuff, but I do clearly remember seeing the
translation as boss.” I was surprised that Summer backed Ramon the
way she did. It showed that she was fair, able to step back and
assess a situation for what it was without involving emotion. I
could see now where her manager experience came in.

“Why don’t you
senioritas
go get changed
and we’ll pick you up here in an hour for dinner?” I
offered.

“Sounds good.” Summer smiled, slipping
her shirt over her head. She didn’t bother with her shorts, merely
putting on her shoes as she shoved the extra clothing into her
purse.

“Okay. It better be a damn good dinner
to make up for this misunderstanding,” Stella teased, poking
Ramon’s chest.

He leaned in and kissed her before
standing to help her up. Summer grabbed a towel and quickly dried
off her legs. My cock was twitching already as she bent down. Damn.
I hadn’t been able to go this many rounds with a woman in since my
teens. I smiled as she neatly folded the towel she’d used. I could
imagine her pulling clothes out of the drier in our home, folding
the laundry, our laundry. My chest tightened as the realization of
what was happening hit me. Shit. Ramon was right. I was sunk. She
smiled up at me, handing me the unused towel.

“Summer,
su cabeza
!” Ramon frowned
as he reached out his hand towards Summer’s scalp. The moment I saw
the location, I knew what he’d seen.

She shook her head, looking down at the
ground. “It’s nothing.” Her voice was thick.

“Leave her alone. I don’t go around
picking the glue off of your head.” Stella tugged at Ramon’s
gel-coated mohawk that was still precisely sculpted from this
morning.

I pulled Summer into me, wrapping my
arms around her. “Don’t listen to him. It’s not
noticeable.”

SUMMER

I wanted to yell, “He noticed it!” But
I didn’t. I merely nodded my head, kissing his wet chest. “I’ll see
you later.”

He lifted my face towards him. “Don’t
think about it, okay?”

I shook my head. He gently kissed me as
I untangled myself from his embrace and grabbed my purse off the
sand.

Stella dressed, and Cruz put his cargos
back on, but the guys kept their shirts off. They escorted us up to
our room, promising again to return in one hour. The moment Stella
shut the door I rushed to the bathroom to check my hair. Sure
enough, the water had weighed my strands down in certain areas
causing visible gaps in my messy updo.

“You’re lucky that’s the first scar
he’s given you,” Stella stated as she came around the corner, her
full figure reflecting in the mirror.

I chuckled without humor. “If bruises
scarred, I’d probably be covered.”

“Don’t live in the past, Summer. Don’t
let your parents rob you of the happiness you have now.”

“I’m actually angry at myself more than
them. It should have stopped when I moved out; I never should have
gone back.”

“You can’t change the past, girl. I can
tell you that you have a bright future ahead of you though. I don’t
know how, but you and Cruz are gonna make it. You should see the
way he looks at you. From what Ramon said, you’re the first and
only.”

I smiled, my heart warming. “You really
think so?”

“Who the hell had happy sex in the
ocean today? I sure as hell didn’t,” she grumbled.

I laughed. “Hm. It was good, but I feel
like I ought to be taking a gallon of bleach to my cooch just
thinking about all the germs.” My womb tingled as I thought back.
“It was well worth it though.”

“Egh. People do it in public restrooms.
I don’t think the ocean is worse than that. I think the salt helps
purify the water.” She beamed at me before breaking into a dance.
“Summer is coming out of the closet. Finally!”

“I was never in the closet.”

She stopped twirling to face me. “Girl,
I knew there was a freak in there somewhere. Gettin’ your
freak-a-leak on with a sexy Rican. Ooh! I’m so proud,” she
gushed.

“Stop.” I swatted my hand in her
direction; I felt heat flood my cheeks. I was grinning from ear to
ear though. He pushed me to my limits and caught me off guard the
same way Stella did; I couldn’t be any happier.

“Hm. Well, while you think
back on the delicious sex I wish I had today, I need to pick out
something to wear. I want all of a certain
amigo
’s attention on me tonight. I’m a
girl with a need that he knows how to fulfill, when he isn’t
focused on food.”

“Food? I don’t think he has an ounce of
fat on him, just lean muscle and bones from what I saw
today.”

“The boy could eat me under the table
at Thanksgiving, literally… and literally.” Her voice took on a
seductive quality, emphasizing the last word. “And I’ll give him
credit; he can cook. I offered to hire him as my personal chef and
pay him in sex. He said he’d think about it.” She shrugged, rolling
her eyes.

“For some reason I think the offer was
more than just a playful tease.”

“Oh hush. He knows I was just kidding.
We both agreed it was just a weekend fling, nothing more.” Stella
rifled through her shopping bag for another outfit.

“Uh huh. We’ll see.”

“Yeah, yeah.” She was dismissive as she
focused on finding something to wear. “We should wear the black
shorts we both got; you know, the dressy ones.”

“You think they’re taking us some place
fancy?”

“You never know.”

“True,” I conceded.

We both worked together to build our
ensembles for the evening. Stella paired the black shorts with a
deep purple tank top and added a short-sleeve black cardigan
sweater. She selected a silver necklace with a dangling crescent
moon pendant, silver hoop earrings and a pair of silver ballet
flats to complete her look for the night. I shied away from wearing
color with the dressy black shorts; instead, I opted for a black
tank top with a cropped, short-sleeve shrug. I finished off my
outfit with a long faux pearl necklace, the pearls gradually
increasing in size as they fell to the center, a pair of matching
faux pearl stud earrings, satin and lace black kitten heels and a
silk grey clutch.

“Ooh, girl. We’re gonna be rockin’ it
tonight.” Stella smiled. “I told you it was gonna be a Stella
Summer.”

My cheeks hurt from grinning. “Yeah,
you did.”

We quickly set into motion, getting
ready before the guys arrived.

CRUZ

“Rondo, it’s Cruz,” I spoke into the
phone.

“Que tu
tiene
?” he pressed, knowing I only called
for business.

“Cash, under the table. I need you to
follow Hector Rodriguez and his posse. I want pics from the inside
and pics of him and his woman, if he has one.”

“You workin’ for the feds
now?”

“No. It’s personal.” The way Hector
looked Summer up and down, taking in every curvy feature had my
blood boiling. I was going to see to it that he didn’t touch her.
Bounty hunters were the middlemen. We helped the police and the
criminal. Ultimately, we were supposed to uphold the law, but I
wasn’t above breaking a few in order to protect her.

“I’ll contact you when I’ve got
something.”

“I need it before Victor’s sentencing
on August first.”

There was nothing but silence as Rondo
considered my timeline; no doubt he’d drive up the price because of
it.

“Double or nothing,” he
countered.
