“Come here, Syd. I need to feel you beside me when we come.”

“But I can’t do this,” she licked slowly across Regan’s clit, “if I come up there.”

“Leave one finger inside and thumb my clit. I’m so close and I want to be holding you.”

Syd reluctantly kissed the center of Regan’s sex one last time and dipped her tongue into the opening before sliding on top of her, fingers still in place.

“Straddle my thigh. I want to feel you come on me.”

“Oh, yeah.” Syd moaned as she rode Regan’s leg from her knee to the resting place against her crotch, then settled into Regan’s thrusting rhythm. Regan flexed her quad muscle and Syd pumped hungrily against the firm, stimulating resistance as her clit twitched and strained toward orgasm. “Soon, baby.”

“Me too, faster, please,” Regan urged.

Syd nibbled the side of Regan’s neck, her strong jaw, and eagerly found her mouth. They kissed and, connected at every point, humped, sucked, probed, and rubbed faster until they both gasped for air and Regan’s coiled muscles started to release.

“Now, Syd, I’m coming now.” She rocked her pelvis against Syd’s hand and grabbed her ass to hang on. “Come with me, Syd.”

A bolt of energy broke free inside Syd and spiraled throughout her body. Using her knee, she added pressure against the hand that worked Regan’s clit. At the same time she pounded her aching flesh against Regan’s thigh. “Oh yeah…now, baby, now.”

Their bodies bucked and muscles quivered. Lusty moans of satisfied relief filled the room and the scent of their sex drifted in the air like a dense fog. Syd felt the cocoon of Regan’s insides contract and release around her fingers in perfect time to the pulsing between her own legs. She rode the wave and marveled at the synchronicity of the moment.

When the physical sensations left them weak, they clung to each other, rocking, stroking, and soothing the heat from their skin. Regan reached down and pulled the sheet across them. Syd mumbled lazy thanks, unwilling to remove her fingers from Regan’s body. She had never felt so connected to another woman, so comfortable in her arms, and so unwilling to be parted from her. Her heart ached with the beauty and perfection of the moment.

This is what love feels like, she told herself. She rested her head against Regan’s chest and listened to the heartbeat that she knew from this day forward would be joined to hers. “I love you so much, Regan.”

“I love you, too, baby.” Regan barely attempted to move and asked, “Is it time for me to go?”

Syd could tell by the lilt of her voice that she was poking fun. “Don’t even think about it.” She wiggled her fingers still buried inside Regan and said, “And I’ve got just the method to restrain you, if necessary.”

Regan settled deeper onto her hand and conceded, “I believe you do, Officer. Maybe I could learn to like authority figures after all, at least one of them.” Then she moved away from Syd, seemed to consider her next statement, and said, “I hate to bring up a bad subject, but I do have one more question.”

“Anything.”

“Are there any more skeletons in your closet that I should know about?”

“Nope, you’ve seen them all. All the warts and all the mistakes. There’s nothing else and nothing I’m hiding. I promise.”

Regan rolled on top of Syd and captured her gaze, blue eyes sharp with sincerity and a sparkle of play. “Good, because after I finish ravishing your body, I plan to start on your soul. I want you, Syd, every part of you, inside and out.”

“Take me. I’m all yours.” Syd spoke those words for the first time in her life, and she meant them.
