As
Rita rose up on one leg, she guided Jared into her pussy. Already soaked with
anticipation and need, she slowly sank down the entire length as they sat groin
to groin. With a lusty sigh, Rita arched her back and began to ride Jared
slowly. Grabbing her hips, Jared adjusted her position so that he could achieve
better penetration. His cock skimmed along her more sensitive spots as Rita
sucked in her breath. Determined to keep it slow, she clenched tightly against
him as she dragged him along with her. As Jared clutched at her hips urging her
to move faster, Rita fought against the cramping of her stomach muscles as she
maintained her slow speed. Opening his eyes, Jared caught Rita’s smile.
Reaching up, he grabbed her by the shoulders and flipped her on her back as he
pulled her hands above her head.

“Game
over,” he growled as her legs wrapped around his waist. Sliding his other arm
around her, he held her tightly against him as he picked up his speed. Pounding
into her, Jared was determined to wipe away the recent fear in the best way he
knew how, by making damn sure that the only thing she could think about was him.
Better yet, no thinking, only feeling. Rita clutched her legs tightly around
him as her need grew.

Moaning,
Rita cried out, “I’m almost there. Jared. Faster. Harder. Please.” Rita panted
out. Picking up speed, Jared’s strokes lengthened as he continued to pound
against her. As Rita’s muscles began to convulse around his cock, Jared closed
any remaining gaps between them as he plunged his tongue into her mouth.
Mimicking his movements, he stroked her mouth with his tongue. As Rita tried to
join him, he captured her tongue and sucked hard. Rita screamed into his mouth
as she orgasmed. Continuing his assault, Jared felt that familiar grasp around
his balls as his orgasm neared. Caught by surprise when Rita pushed her tongue
hard against his, causing the pressure from his sucking to increase, Jared’s
orgasm slammed into him. Arching his back, he slammed into her as they both
rode out their orgasms together.

Collapsing
on top of her, they both fought to catch their breaths as the energy of the
last few minutes slowly drained out. Rubbing her cheek against his chest, Rita
rained small kisses wherever she could reach, too tired to speak. Sliding out
of her, Jared chuckled at her moan. Hugging her tight, he said, “I feel that
sense of loss too, little one.”

Chapter 8

It
had been two days since the Nuñez family project was completed and the family
was due to move in the end of the week. The donations had been coming in thanks
to the success of the fundraiser and the great article in the paper. Travis had
managed to secure enough donations to allow an additional three projects to be
added to the budget for this year and Jared had been brought on as the
full-time general contractor for all the local projects. Jared and Rita had
been dating exclusively for weeks and Rita was spending most of her nights at
his place.

Everyone
had gone home early while Rita wrapped up the final paperwork and prepared the
office for pickup and delivery to its new location. She and Casey would be
meeting Jared later for a celebratory dinner at a new dog-friendly restaurant
followed by a walk at dog beach. Locking everything up, Rita and Casey did one
final walk-through before she was ready to call it quits for the day.

Casey
began to growl before Rita heard him.
“Lovely Rita meter maid Nothing can
come between us When it gets dark I tow your heart away”. At those words, Rita
flinched. Lifting her head, she saw her ex walking toward her as he continued
to whistle. Looking around, Rita hoped to find some of the volunteers still on
the property, but it was late and it didn’t look like anyone was left. What was
he doing in San Diego and how did he find her? Stepping back, Rita made sure that
there was a worktable between her and Tucker as Casey came to stand by her
side. Shaking visibly, Casey continued to growl. Grabbing her cell phone, Rita
placed it on the table and hit Jared’s number. Putting the phone on speaker,
she left it there hoping Jared would answer. When Rita heard Jared’s ring tone,
she looked up. His tool belt with his phone was sitting on a stack of wood
pallets outside her office. Flinching inwardly, Rita disconnected the call and
tucked her phone into her pocket.

 “What
do you want, Tucker?”

“You,
of course,” came Tucker’s reply.

Rita
couldn’t keep the tremor out of her voice when she asked him, “How did you find
me?”

Smiling
at her fear, Tucker drawled, “Newspaper. You really should be more careful.”

Cursing
herself for agreeing to the puff piece, Rita allowed herself to be talked into
the interview by her boss. They were in need of additional funding and he had
hoped that the publicity would help. She didn’t even think that Tuck would find
out. Backing up, Rita grabbed on to Casey’s collar. Casey had been her life
support through the latter part of her marriage and after one too many close
calls, she wasn’t about to lose her to her ex now. Smiling evilly down at the
dog, “And I think that SHE will be the first to go.”

“No!”
Gasped, Rita, as she clutched her dog tighter.

As
Jared was driving home, he had a thought about a secluded picnic instead of a
restaurant. They had much to celebrate tonight and Jared didn’t feel like
sharing Rita and Casey with the public. Reaching for his headset, Jared
realized that he didn’t have his phone. Looking in the backseat, his tool belt
was gone too. Sighing, Jared made a U-turn and headed back to the site.
Smiling, he hoped Rita and Casey were still there. Who knows, maybe they could
have another round in the office before it was moved to the next project site.
He chuckled to himself when he remembered how much Rita blushed the first
couple of days after their activities in the office. She had been quite noisy,
but if anyone had heard them, no one let on. He loved that Rita could embarrass
so easily and enjoyed watching her blush; especially when it was her own
thoughts. If he was lucky, there were times he could get her to share those
thoughts, but that usually involved more blushing and much stammering as she
tried to put her fantasies into words.

As
Jared headed toward the site, he noticed a car he hadn’t seen before with a
Dodgers sticker on it. There were few houses on this street and two of them
were empty until the Nuñez family returned. Jared had driven down this same
street every day for the last several months and he was familiar with every car
on it. As someone trained to observe his surroundings, Jared had made a point
of keeping tabs on the different vehicles as some of the construction materials
weren’t locked up other than behind the perimeter fence and it was his job to
make sure nothing was stolen. Pulling up behind the car, he looked up the
street and saw that Rita’s car was still there. Jumping out, he quietly walked
toward the site. Peeking around the bushes, he saw Rita standing at a worktable
with Casey next to her. They both appeared to be in distress. Craning his neck,
Jared tried to see whom she was talking to, but the bushes effectively blocked
his line of sight. Cursing to himself, he backed away and headed around back.
Walking as quickly and as quietly as he could, Jared, cut through the
neighbor’s yard and hopped the fence to the access road behind the houses.
Hugging the side of the garage, Jared inched his way forward. The closer he
got, he could hear snippets of conversation and was quickly able to determine
that the visitor was Rita’s ex, John Tucker. Reaching for his phone, he cursed
again when he remembered that it was still with his tool belt.

Taking
a deep breath, Jared dropped into a crouch and slipped around the corner. From
his vantage point, he could see Rita and Casey clearly. Tucker had his back
mostly to him and Jared hoped to use it to his advantage. Running different
options through his head, Jared silently debated how best to approach. His
biggest concern was that he couldn’t see any weapons and he had no idea what
Tucker may do. Spotting his tool belt, Jared figured out his play. Smiling
grimly, he backed up. Hopping the fence again, he jogged around front and
casually entered the property as Tucker and Rita appeared to be playing tag
around the table. Waving casually to Rita, he pointed to his tool belt as he
strode over to it. Making a point of ignoring what was going on; he acted as if
he was checking messages. Throwing his belt over his shoulder, he walked over.

“Yo,
Rita,” drawled Jared. “Didn’t mean to interrupt.” Pointing to his belt, “Forgot
my stuff.” As Jared spoke, the sudden interruption gave Tucker time to scoot
around to Rita. Grabbing Casey by the collar, Tucker twisted it as both Casey
and Rita cried out. As Jared fought to remain calm, he looked at Tuck, “Hey,
dude, don’t think the dog likes that.”

“I
really don’t care WHAT the dog likes,” jeered Tucker as he tightened his grip.
“In fact, I’m fairly certain WE will be getting rid of THE dog.” At Rita’s
gasp, Tucker continued. “Now if you will excuse us, my wife and I were in the
middle of a conversation.” At Rita’s rising panic, Jared decided enough was
enough. Sliding his tool belt across the table, he took advantage of Tucker’s distraction
and sped around. Grabbing Tucker by the arm, he twisted it behind him. Reaching
for the quick release on the collar, Rita pulled Casey away as Jared dragged
Tucker away from them.

“One,”
barked Jared, “You and Rita are NO LONGER married. And two, YOU are trespassing
on a construction site. I would suggest that you leave now before it’s too
late.”

“Well,
aren’t you the big man,” said Tucker before he looked at Rita. “Are you fucking
this one now? I didn’t take you for the Jar Head type.” As he looked at Jared,
“Tell me something, do you like fucking cold fish? Because I sure didn’t.”

“Actually,”
replied Jared silkily, “She’s the best thing that has ever happened to me and
one of the hottest women, I’ve ever met. Perhaps, this cold fish thing that you
refer to has something to do with your technique.”

As
Tucker screamed in outrage, he struggled against the larger man’s grip, but
only succeeded in having his arm twisted further. “I will kill all of you,” he
screamed as he tried to break free.

“I’d
like to see you try with a pair of broken arms,” said Jared as he lifted
Tucker’s shoulder higher.

“Jared,
no,” cried Rita. As both men looked at her, Rita swallowed. “He’s not worth the
effort. Please, don’t. I don’t want him to have the satisfaction that he got to
us. We’re better than that,” said Rita, as she pointed to Tucker. “He isn’t.”

Nodding
his head in agreement, Jared continued to move Tucker away from her. The sound
of sirens was heard in the distance. “Hear that, little man? That’s your ride,
come to get you,” taunted Jared. “You are done terrorizing my woman.”

“YOUR
woman?” At Tucker’s outrage, he dropped to one knee and managed to break loose
from Jared’s grasp. Turning, he began to advance on her again. “I’m not done
with her yet and I don’t think you’ll have any interest in her when I am,”
shouted Tucker. At Rita’s cry, Casey broke from her grasp and launched at
Tucker. Growling, she crashed into his chest sending both of them to the
ground. Jumping on him, Jared was quick to pin him down as Casey ran back into
Rita’s arms. Clutching her tightly, Rita sobbed.

As
the all too familiar red and blue lights flashed at the end of the drive, Rita
clutched Casey as she watched Tucker led away in handcuffs. Jared was busy
giving his side of the events as Rita stroked Casey, crooning to her about what
a brave dog she was. She was so exhausted; she couldn’t even stand as Jared
came toward her. Bending down, he scooped her up and whistled for Casey to
follow as his long strides covered the distance to his truck. He had to set her
down in order to open the passenger door, but before he could, Rita turned to
face him.

“Thank
you,” she said simply. Cupping her face, Jared kissed her gently.

“I
can’t believe I forgot my phone. I was driving back to pick it up when I saw
his car. I didn’t know who it belonged to until I heard the two of you talking.
I don’t know what I would have done if something happened to you.”

Sniffling,
“Me too. I panicked when I realized that your phone was still here. I didn’t
have time to call anyone else. I thought that if I could keep him talking,
maybe he would calm down or if we could get some place more public, I could
call for help. I am so glad that you came back.” Jared reached for the door to
let Casey in. “There’s one more thing,” Rita paused as she looked at him. “YOUR
woman?”

Hugging
her fiercely, Jared replied, “Damn straight, MY woman. For at least the rest of
our lives.”
