Michael came up and at Graeme’s nod, unfastened her wrists and she collapsed into her Master’s arms.

The audience applauded.

Graeme carried her into an alcove with a sofa, and lay her down, then gathered her back up onto his lap, as if he could not bear to let her out of his arms. “Oh, pet, I’m so proud of you…you were magnificent…wonderful…I told you I wanted you to come three times, and you did,” he was kissing her hair, trailing his lips down the side of her neck, nuzzling her throat.

Michael sat down beside them. “Wonderful, Graeme’s girl, just wonderful. You were so beautiful. So responsive, so obedient. If you don’t want to keep her, Graeme, I do…she’s lovely.”

Graeme looked coolly at his best friend. “Don’t even think it, Mike. This is my pet. Why would I not keep her? She just pleased me greatly.”

Michael smiled. “Glad to hear you tell her that, Graeme. She’s a little gem…”

“Yes, well, for the next month, she’s my little gem, Mike. And maybe longer….I may decide to keep her longer if she continues to please me.”

SIX

Monday morning, Graeme was at the weekly department head meeting
.
Nothing untoward had occurred in his absence.  He walked out with John Taylor.

“How’s Olivia working out, John? You’ve had her a week now. Was I correct to suggest her?”

“Best assistant we’ve ever had. Knows the rules and regs back to front, inside out. Understands them better than some of my traders. She knows all the symbols for the world currencies, and she’s done the first three lessons for the trader’s exam. I looked them over before she sent them in. I think they were all perfect.

“I tell you, Graeme, I don’t know why the girl has a nasty reputation. She’s polite and helpful to all of us. We love her.

“In fact, I’m going out on a limb. If she passes the course, and she will, with flying colors, I think we should make her our junior trader. She can still do that niggledy paper work, which she does perfectly, no errors yet, but I think she might make a good trader. She’s cool as ice under pressure. She can cover the desk when the men want a break. I could do with some part time help on the desk now we’re busier. We’ve only had her a week, but already Pat is wondering how we ever managed without her, she’s so helpful to everybody.”

“Good.”

“She’s quite surprising really. She knows our computer programs now better than Pat my P.A. does. She’s designing all new forms for the recording process, and devised ways to pick up on the mistakes before the forms will let you sign off on them. Doing a better job than that chap we had in as a consultant last year. All he did was give us two more paper forms to fill in.

“But Olivia is simplifying things, and taking away a lot of that paper.  I don’t think we’ll have many Compliance issues now from the reporting end of things, anyway. Worked quite a few extra hours to make sure she did the job properly and didn’t ask for overtime.”

“Oh, really?”

“Yes, Graeme, really. She hasn’t finished yet, but she’s making great progress. I would think that she’ll be finished with the reporting forms within another week, and then I have a few more projects for her to have a look at. I can keep her busy, don’t worry.”

Graeme went into his office and shut the door. He smiled to himself. His little pet was a surprising success in the Currency Trading Department. He’d have to reward her. She hadn’t told him she’d done the first three lessons of the course to get her trading credentials.    Obviously, she wanted to surprise him. Even if he decided not to keep her as his pet, he’d done her some good, career wise.

But why wouldn’t he keep her as his kitten, his pet.

She suited him. He was growing fond of her.

That was why he shouldn’t keep her, he was growing fond of her, so soon
.

It had taken longer, much longer, to develop affection for Francine.   But Olivia was so eager to please him, and he was able to train her so easily to please him perfectly.

Yes, he’d keep her
.

She’d done very well at The Club both times he’d taken her, enjoyed what he was doing to her, and responded very well.
He’d
enjoyed both weekends that he’d had her as his pet.

Yes, so far Olivia suited him as well as Francine had. Oh, they had a long way to go yet, but she was coming along nicely. Tonight he’d take her into his training room, and work on that bottom. He liked that bottom very much. Maybe he’d start her on nipple clamps tonight as well, but he’d given that diamond starter pair to Francine, because they were so lovely, and she’d begged so prettily when she’d spied them lying in the drawer of his chest when she visited him in April.

Hmmm, he could just pop along to Ragnar’s Jewellery Shop at noon and see what he had on hand in his private section in the back room. Ragnar was a member of Graeme’s club and crafted wonderful pieces that suited Graeme’s purposes.

It was too soon to start designing a collar, wasn’t it? Or was it
?

Where did that thought come from? He’d never collared anybody, not even Carrie, not Francine, so why would he want a collar for a little girl he’d only had for two weekends?

Only two weekends, he couldn’t count the week in between, he’d been in New York. In New York obsessing about her.

He’d keep the nipple clamps simple, inexpensive. He didn’t want his money to start being the attraction she felt for him, the way his daughters and even Michael thought his money was the main attraction to Francine.

So far, he was sure it wasn’t the main attraction to Olivia. Well, if he held off the gift giving and the expensive trips, and the credit card, he’d be sure the attraction was sincere.

Not that it mattered if it wasn’t really, because she was only his pet, after all, not his lover.

He laughed to himself. He’d handed her a hundred quid to buy some thongs, told her she could get some for twenty pounds. She’d shopped the sales on a lunch hour and proudly told him she’d purchased seven pair of lace thongs for seventy pounds, and handed him his thirty pounds change. Hell, Francine used to pay over a hundred for a single pair...

Graeme and Ragnar conferred for nearly an hour, and when he left the jeweller’s, Graeme had the perfect adjustable nipple clamps for his kitten. They were sterling silver, with lapis lazuli shards falling down about three inches below the nipple, and they had a silver chain joining them, that had interesting uses. Ragnar had custom-made them while he watched, taken a plain silver pair and made it exquisite.

Graeme smiled as he left the jeweller’s. He would make her take that chain in her mouth, and pull on it, and torture her own nipples. Oh, that would be fun to watch. He wondered how much pain she’d create for herself. Hmmm, he hadn’t tested those tits yet to see just how responsive they were to pain.

He turned, went back into Ragnar’s jewellery salon and also bought an unadorned gold set, again adjustable, that would make the nubs of Olivia’s breasts stand out more, and he planned to have her wear these under her prim blouses to work one day soon.

He’d already given her a slave bracelet, to wear around her bicep when they went to The Club, to denote she was spoken for but not yet collared, as was his club’s custom. It had looked lovely on her arm when he had her in the frame the other night. The nipple clamps and the bracelet would stay at his townhouse, to adorn her as he chose. She would never realized he’d bought them for her, she’d think he kept them for all his pets to wear.

And finally, he’d commissioned Ragnar to design a collar for him. There was no rush, but his jeweller friend said he’d have a couple of designs to show him within a few weeks.

Ragnar been on the balcony at the club, had watched Graeme flog his little kitten at The Club the night before, and he had some ideas to enhance Olivia’s beautiful neck. But he doubted his designs would ever be made into a collar. To the best of Ragnar’s knowledge, Graeme had never collared any woman.

SEVEN

Graeme stopped for a quick meal at the Greek restauran
t
on the corner by Browning’s Mercantile Bank. His cousin Amanda was sitting at a table alone.

“Hi, Mandy. Can I join you?”

“Hi, Graeme. Certainly. I just ordered.”

He hailed the waiter and quickly ordered.

“So, how was everything while I was away?”

“Pretty quiet, actually.”

“Any gossip to report?”

“Not much. I think Rose’s marriage might be a little rocky right now. She was upset with her mother-in-law interfering all last week. I think her husband Brian is a bit of a Mama’s boy.”

  “Oh? I’m sure they’ll work it out…”

“Yeah, as soon as his mother goes home. She’s been visiting last week, but I think she goes home to Liverpool tomorrow.”

“Anything else going on?”

“Olivia seems to be settling into Currency Trading really well. She’s working so hard. She has a new boyfriend and he left her a list of what he wanted her to learn last week. He must be in finance, because he knew what she needed to learn alright. Anyway he told her she had to stop being rude and nasty, and she’s been trying really hard. They really like her in her new office.”

“She told you her boyfriend said all these things?”

“Mmmm…” Amanda paused to sip her cola. “She hasn’t been winding me up all week. Says he wouldn’t like it, so she mustn’t.”

“Well, that’s a good thing, isn’t it, Amanda?”

“I think she really likes him a lot, Graeme.”

“Why do you think that, Mandy?”

“Her eyes shine when she talks about him.”

“Do they now?”

“She may be falling in love with him. That’s what I think, anyway.”

“Really?”

“But she doesn’t think love is involved.”

“What’s his name?”

“You know, I can’t remember her saying. She just said he’s a bit older than her, and I think he’s divorced, couple of kids who don’t live with him…he has an executive position somewhere. That’s about it. Except he really runs her life now, obviously. Picked out all her work outfits last week, had her eating better, going to the gym, sent her to get her hair cut.

“She loves it. Says he makes her feel cherished, cared for. You know, the way she spoke, I almost think it’s the first time in her life that she feels that way. She grew up with quite old grandparents. Apparently her mother had her at sixteen or seventeen and just dumped her on the grandparents and took off. And they sound like a cranky old pair of geezers, Graeme. I know they used to punish her a lot if she did anything wrong, that slipped out one day when we were talking.”

“Anything else going on?”

“Linda’s getting married to Gordon Reese. I guess they were going out for a while and now she’s preggers, so he’s doing the right thing. I think he’s quite stupid actually, but he is good looking, and as long as he doesn’t make any really stupid mistakes, the guys in the Bond Department will find jobs he can accomplish.”

“Well, that’s a nice lot of gossip you gathered for me, little cousin.”

“Oh, your old girlfriend from Geneva called you while I was manning Reception on Thursday. Glad I remembered. She’s coming into London Wednesday week and she was hoping you could put her up for a few days. Goes back the following Sunday. Coming for a wedding, she said, and wants you to go with her. I didn’t mention that to Julia when I saw her Saturday at Auntie Betty’s birthday, which incidentally you forgot about and didn’t show up for. I know how your daughters feel about Francine.”

“Thanks for that, Amanda. Just tell me when I can do you a favour…”

“Can I have a raise?”

“Not that big a favour, but nice try.”

When Graeme got back to the office, he shut his door and called his friend Michael.

“Hello, Michael. Graeme here. Got a minute?”

“Hiya, Graeme. What’s up?”
