Her shoulders slumped, feeling trapped, the
butt of a sick joke or something. How long has the guy been working
there?
So I have been watched, when I shop in that store. Him;
he’s the one who’s been watching me.
She had to admit that she
bought regularly eight or more large cucumbers each week. A couple
for salads, and the rest…well, for other purposes of a private
nature. She wondered if the drug store “watched” how many condoms
she purchased to use with the cucumbers. Damn, she thought, isn’t
anything private anymore?

After she’d vented, she stared at the boxed
dildo, then cautiously picked it up. Her pussy tingled, and she
felt herself getting wet. Finally she broke the seal on the box and
opened it, pulling out the long, thick, flesh-toned dildo, shaped
just like a man’s cock. A
big
cock. Her neatly manicured
fingers touched the length, then she grasped it with both hands,
the wide head sticking out.
My god, this thing is big.

The longer she held it, looking at it, the
wetter she got.
Damn him!
Kara was not used to losing
control, and somehow she felt produce guy had a grip on her. At
least all of this had made her pussy wet. She thought, if he has
this much control on me I wonder if he could make me come like a
crazy woman? But then that would mean he’d have to fuck me,
wouldn’t it, she thought. “Damn him. That ain’t gonna happen.”

Her chaotic emotions cycled back through her
again. She felt hot anger, repulsion, resentment, insulted,
disgust, and then she broke out in laughter at the ridiculousness
of everything. She reached for her phone to call her best friend,
still laughing, knowing that she’d get a kick out of the whole
thing. But then she put her phone back, changing her mind.

Chapter 3

The next morning was Friday and Kara had
taken a personal leave day from work. She’d been planning a little
shopping day for herself. After getting dressed in a pair of
designer jeans that hugged her curvy body and a white cotton blouse
that gave a nice outline to her smaller than average breasts, she
slipped on a pair of leather boots, since the weather called for
intermittent summer showers.

She opted not to cook breakfast, but to stop
by her favorite coffee and bakery shop for a light breakfast until
the mall opened. She looked forward to reading her newspaper, and
sipping coffee and munching her muffins. She’d gotten there early
and had her choice of seats. After getting her coffee and muffins,
she took her seat at a table for two.

After a few minutes, while glancing down at
her newspaper, she sensed his presence before the voice said, “May
I join you?”

Her head snapped up and she was staring into
crystal blue eyes and the sexiest full set of lips smiling back at
her. Her mind went blank for a moment; speechless, then she
stammered, as her eyes glanced at a dozen empty tables, and then
looked up at him towering over her. “There are other tables, with
more room.”

He smiled. “I know, but you’re not sitting at
any of those tables. I want to sit with you.” He eased the other
chair back, holding her eyes, as he sat.

She snapped, “Then I’ll move.”

“I’ll follow you.”

“I’ll call the police.”

“Well, go ahead, if you’re really that
desperate for company or someone to talk with.”

“You must be crazy.”

He chuckled. “I’m crazy to get to know
you.”

She let out a deep breath, holding his look.
“Listen, I don’t know what you’re up to, but I can’t believe the
audacity of you to…to…put that
thing
in my grocery bag the
other day. How dare you.” She bit her words off in bitter chunks,
as she gestured with her hands.

He still smiled at her; his eyes drifting
down to her chest, then back up her neck, face, and eyes.
“Cucumbers are primitive. I thought I’d save you some money and
you’d have a lot more fun with something realistic and
high-tech.”

She fumed. “Well, what a woman does is a
private matter, and not for joking or…or some stranger making
assumptions about.” She paused a moment. “So, do you hide a dildo
in the grocery bag of every woman who buys cucumbers?” Two women at
the next table raised their heads, when they heard the world
dildo
.

“No. You’re the only one. You’re the only
woman who’s caught my eye.”

“Humph! I don’t believe that.” She paused.
“Why me?”

“I find you very desirable, very
attractive.”

She studied him a moment. His words striking
at her vulnerabilities.
Oh god! It’s been ages since I’ve heard
the word “desirable” in reference to me. Not even my boyfriend has
used the word.
She glanced around the coffee shop that was
beginning to fill up. “I don’t believe you. What about the tall
blonde standing at the register? She’s very attractive.”

He turned, looking the woman up and down.
“No. She’s too struck on herself. That’s a turn off.”

“Okay, what about the dark-haired woman who
just came through the door? The one with big breasts.”

He looked her over a long minute, then shook
his head. “Too flaunty. She’s already run her eyes around the men
to see if they’re watching her. Doesn’t interest me.” He turned
back to Kara. “But you interest me…a lot.” His eyes held hers, till
she looked down.

She grabbed her clutch bag, then stood, and
snapped. “I have to go.”

As she took a couple of steps, he said, “Then
you won’t get to hear what I was about to ask you.”

She kept walking.

He listened to the cadence of her boot heels
slow, as she got closer to the door of the coffee shop. He watched
her reflection in a glass-covered large framed art deco on the
wall. He took a sip of coffee, and smiled to himself, as she
paused, turned around and started walking back to where he was
seated. He busied himself, glancing down at the newspaper she’d
left on the table.

When she approached the table, he looked up
smiling, and said, “Oh, good morning. I thought you’d left.”

She smirked at him, as she plopped in the
seat, eyeing him carefully. “Against my better judgment I’m back,
so what’s your question?

His eyes rested on her. “Actually I have a
couple of questions. May I call you, Kara?”

She huffed. “Obviously, since that’s my first
name, but how do you know it?”

He shrugged. “Oh, I learn as much as possible
about the customers of Earth Harvest.”

He’s some kind of sneak, she thought.

He said, “I was wondering where you’re from
and do you have family close by.”

She shook her head. “Tell me about yourself
first. You owe me that after putting that
thing
in my
grocery bag. You know, come to think of it, I should report what
you did to the store’s management
and
the police.”
Maybe
that will rattle him, the…the sexy bastard.

He chuckled. “Why don’t you do that?”

She hissed. “Didn’t you know that what you
did was very risky, and with a woman you know nothing about?” She
thought she’d make him squirm a little more.

He nodded. “Yes, very risky, but risk is
sometimes exciting and you were worth it, because I got to meet
you.”

She seethed at his response. Decided to
change the subject. “You’re new in the produce department aren’t
you? Did you just start working there?” She’d already noticed that
he wasn’t wearing a ring and didn’t have a tan line on his finger.
And oh, how he filled out his washed-out jeans and blue cotton
shirt; his thick dark hair trailing across the collar.

“I’ve been working for Earth Harvest since I
was in high school, umm…about twelve years now.”

“And you’re
still
working in the
produce section?” Her voice carried a little surprise.

“I started out as a bag boy; I can work most
of the jobs in the company.”

She leaned back in her seat, crossing her
arms across her chest, secretly hoping that would push her breasts
up a little more. Tease the bastard, she thought, if he’s so
interested in me. “Jumping from job to job, does that mean you’re
having trouble finding your niche in the world of work?” She
couldn’t keep the smirk off her face.

He smiled, pulling a card from his shirt
pocket, writing on the back with his pen. He handed the card to
her. When his clean, manicured fingers touched hers a flutter
passed over her. “The front side is business; the number on the
back is my personal, private cell. Call me anytime.”

She said, “I doubt I’ll be calling.”

“I want hold my breath either, but you at
least have it.”

Then she flipped the card over reading his
name and the business information: Jonah Mitchell,
Vice-President Special Projects.
A slow blush started up her
neck.
OMG! He is management. Damn! What an assumption I
made.
She tried to recover from being stunned. “Well, what were
you doing working in the produce section,
Jonah
? Get
demoted?”

He held his smile, as his eyes swept from her
breasts, back to her eyes. “I have a degree in Business Process
Reengineering. It’s the new term for
efficiency expert
, one
who studies business processes from top to bottom, you know, things
like work flow, scheduling, time variables, a lot of other stuff
that’s not that interesting to talk about when I’m seated across
the table from a very desirable woman.” Her pulse quickened at his
comment and his handsome features added fuel to some kind of desire
stirring in the pit of her stomach.
Oh, god, his mouth, his lips
moving when he talks…oooh. I’ll bet they are very efficient at all
kinds of things. Oh, god, why am I having these thoughts?

He continued. “When we update segments of our
business, I usually spend time in local stores, getting a feel for
where we are and what we need to do as a company to improve our
customer service.”

Her mouth spoke before her brain thought.
“Does that service include putting a dildo in an unsuspecting
woman’s grocery bag?”

He smiled leaning into the table. “In your
case,
I
want to fuck you; not the dildo.”

She gasped as heat flooded her labia. But
frozen speechless again at his confident directness.

“May I get you a fresh coffee, while you
think about that option?”

She swallowed trying to muster her voice.
“No, I mean yes…to the coffee.”
Damn, him; he caught me off
guard.

She watched him stroll over to the coffee
line, the muscles in his hips and jeans moving the fabric of his
jeans. She continued glancing at him as he stood in line, and when
he headed back to their table, he strode with casual confidence.
There was a noticeable bulge in the front of his jeans that sent a
flash of heat between her thighs.

He placed the cup of fresh coffee before her,
then brushed his fingertips against her shoulder, and said, “A hot
cup of coffee for a steamy woman.” He took his seat across from
her, smiling and giving her a wink.

She was so flustered, she almost spilled her
coffee. “Uh…so…do you…uh…your family live in the area or do you
travel?”

“I live about five miles outside the city. My
office is in the corporate headquarters here in town. My travel is
light; mainly when I’m spot-checking a local store. It’s a little
unusual that I’ve spent as much time in that particular local
store, but we plan some major renovations and changes. Umm…let’s
see…parents live in Chestnut Gap, fifty miles from here. A brother
and sister, older than me live in Colorado.”

She hesitated a moment. “What about your
wife?”

A slow grin spread across his mouth. “What
about her?”

Kara coughed, and choked on a swallow of
coffee.

He watched her as she continued sputtering
into her napkin. When she finally caught her breath, and cleared
her throat, she croaked out, “So you’re
married?

Damn
him for leading me on.

“Well, I don’t think so, but since you seemed
so sure that I was I thought I’d see where your baited question was
going.”

She huffed at him.

He leaned into the table. “Okay, tell me
about yourself, your family. I already know you’re a successful
business woman. Do you have family?”

She stared at him, trying to decide whether
to talk with him or end this little “chit chat” session that he so
cleverly started.
Damn him; he’s smooth, I have to give him that
much.
Finally she said, “They live here in town. I have one
brother, three years older than me. He travels all the time for his
company…haven’t seen Travis in a couple of years.” She sighed.

“I know you’re not married, but I imagine you
have a fiancé, maybe two or three?”

With a smug chin, she said, “Yes, I have a
steady male friend.” She quickly followed with, “And how many
girlfriends do you have?”

He chuckled. “I’m working on that.”

“Really?”

He nodded, locking on her eyes. “Yes, I’d
like to pick you up tonight at seven o’clock and take you out for
dinner.”

“Sorry, I already have plans with Roger at
seven.”

His eyes held hers. “Cancel.”

“No. Can’t do that.”

“Then tell me Roger’s number and I’ll
cancel.”

She shook her head. “You’re a real predator,
stalker.” She was tingling all over at his confident pursuit of
her. Something she’d never enjoyed so much from a man. And it was
turning her on, but she wasn’t about to let him know it.

He studied her a moment. “Think about what
I’d like to do with you. You have my number.” He watched the
pounding of her pulse along her neck a few seconds, then asked,
“How long have you been with your company?”

She was surprised at his sudden shift from
tempting conversation to something as dull as the business world.
She liked the way he flirted with her. Well, it was several grades
above innocent flirting. This male animal was on the hunt.
Oh,
my god! He wants me. Wants my…wants to do things to me.
