Getting Started with Zoodles
and Other Spiralized Dishes

Hungry for a filling, flavorful, and healthy meal? There’s a vegetable for that.

The versatile zucchini:
The star of your future zoodle obsession, zucchini make wonderful spaghetti and fettuccine noodles. They really are fantastic dripping with your favorite sauce, as in the classic Spaghetti and Meatballs (

) and the tasty and comforting Chicken Zoodle Soup (

).

The humble carrot:
From pancakes to salads to casseroles, carrots add sweetness, crunch, and lots of vitamin A. Carrots make especially tasty rice. Try them in the Carrot Paella (

). They are also yummy in baked sweets, like the Carrot Muffins recipe (

).

The better-than-a-potato sweet potato:
If you’re eating low-carb, chances are you are avoiding potatoes. Sweet potatoes in moderation, however, work well within the framework of a reduced-carbohydrate plan. They are wonderful in savory dishes, such as Sweet Potato Cakes with Orange-Sriracha Aioli (
