“Look at me when I’m speaking to you. In the bedroom, I want your undivided attention. And I definitely want your complete and utter fucking obedience, girl.”

He fisted a handful of hair and forced me to look directly at his face. His chiseled, perfectly rugged, five o’clock shadowed face. Fuck! I was going to melt into a puddle at his feet if he didn’t stop. I chewed on my bottom lip shaking my head up and down. A growl emitted from somewhere deep in his chest as he nuzzled in my hair before he spoke again.

“You chewing on that bottom lip of yours like that, is making my cock hard. So far I have made love to you. I’ve slowly pumped in and out of that sweet little pussy of yours, while I whispered sweet nothings in your ear. But now, I’m going to tear those cute little panties off of you, pin you to the wall, and fuck you senseless girl.”

I gasped as he twisted my underwear, shredding them from my body as if they were non-existent.

“Don’t you dare fucking move,” he commanded me as he quickly peeled out of his clothing and rolled a condom on with precision. His fingers cut into the back of my thighs as he effortlessly lifted me, holding me up, before roughly thrusting up and into me.

“Don’t take your eyes off of me. Even when you’re coming, they had better be glued to mine.”

I was experiencing a side of Miller that I had no idea existed. There was more to this man than I had assumed. I knew he wasn’t just some run of the mill private investigator. People didn’t hire a private investigator to do heinous things.

As if he saw me trying to deduce something in my head, he locked his hold on me and took me over to the bed tossing me onto my stomach.

“If you can daydream while I’m fucking you then I must not be doing something right.”

His large hand crashed down on my buttock and he grabbed my legs pulling me back towards him as I scurried away. His arm locked around my stomach to insure I wasn’t going anywhere. I could feel his large hand rubbing over the heated spot he had created. Once again his flat hand slapped over the other side of my buttock. This time it was hard enough to make me start crying.

“Fuck! That hurts, I’ll pay attention!”

He slowly slid into me and began to taunt me with his words.

“Your tears make my cock hard, but hearing you say that you’ll pay attention to me—really does it for me. I warned you Laura. You’ve been warned that my job makes me a dangerous man—don’t underestimate just how deep the darkness that resides in me goes.”

My fists clawed at the sheets as he pounded in and out of me, he hurt so fucking good. Being taken would no longer be a fantasy—it was now my reality.

“Oh, you’re a good girl. Such a good, good girl. Come for me.”

My body exploded, leaving me in a wet puddle on the mattress, allowing him to do whatever he wanted. His vicious thrusts now became gentle pumps, in which he was teased me by barely entering.

“Give it to me Miller.”

“You’re not running things. If you want my cock, beg for it.”

“Please, Miller, don’t stop.”

“Not nasty enough, little girl.”

“Fuck me, Miller, ram that big, thick cock into me.”

“I aim to please.”

I screamed out as he viciously grabbed my hips and violently plunged balls deep into me.

“Don’t hurt me.”

“Oh I’m going to hurt you. I’m going to hurt you so fucking good that you’ll keep coming back for more. You’re mine now Laura. You’re marked, and you would do well to remember that.”

His hand fisted my hair into a ponytail until I was in a position to hear his words as he growled them into my ear. “I’ve never had a woman that makes me feel the way that you do, and I will do anything to keep you. Anything.”

He was slowly grinding into me and circling his hips when he bottomed out, until my body was experiencing one continual climax. Spasms wracked my body and when he let my hair go I melted back into the mattress. When I came to reality and out of the euphoric state he had taken me to, he was gently cleansing me and softly warning me, that it would be in my best interest to cut off any ties with any other men. There were no other men, and after today, I doubted that any man would ever measure up to what I had just experienced…

Chapter Nine

Miller

I left Laura’s and made my way home. I informed her that I needed to pack a few more things and that I would be back soon.

I let my mind wander as I packed, thinking about how I was going to approach Laura with the fact that she would see things that she would have to keep to herself. I wasn’t ready to reveal that I was a hit man, but I needed for her to understand the importance of discretion in my line of work. I would approach it from the private investigator angle and go from there. For some reason unknown even to me, I trusted this girl.

I stopped packing for a moment and made my way over to my computer punching in a sequence of numbers. I decided to watch her intermittently on the surveillance that I had set up in her condo, as I packed. I hadn’t asked the poor girl about me moving in, it had just seemed like the natural thing to do. All I knew was I had to protect her from that asshole ex of hers. I wouldn’t be there full time but I was setting up an office there so I could come and go at will. She didn’t know it, but I had already set up everything being delivered in the morning, it would give me time to break it to her gently.

Laura was the only woman that I explained anything to. Typically I did what the fuck that I wanted, when I wanted. She reminded me of a scared, trapped animal, mistrusting and leery of everyone and everything. I didn’t want to do anything that could cause her to shy away from me. The thought of her finding out what I did on the side, weighed on me in the back of my mind. It was the first time I could remember being scared since I was a kid. Here I was a cold blooded killer and she had the ability to turn me into a scared little boy. There wasn’t a whole lot that made me afraid—but I was scared to death of losing her.

I watched the monitor as she soaked in the tub while she hummed. I marveled at the new emotion that she exhibited. It was peace, she wasn’t afraid. I knew I was the reason for the peace that she was feeling, and I would do anything to insure that she kept it. I was becoming dangerously consumed with protecting this woman. I feared for anyone who dared to try and hurt her, and that included that dirt bag of an ex-husband of hers.

I would give Glazov the respect of killing him first, but if for some unknown reason he managed to get back into Glazov’s good graces, then I would kill him. I would look him dead in the eyes and strangle him for lying to me. I had no respect for a man who set up an innocent woman for any amount of money. It was evident that the man had no scruples. Hell, I was a hit man and even I didn’t kill women—no hired hits on women, or children. Ever.

Laura

It felt good to soak in the hot water. My body was sore from the abuse I had suffered the night before. I could see first-hand why the woman I had viewed through my high powered binoculars was in such ecstasy when her husband was dominating her—this could be addictive.

I had never experienced anything like it before. It was like a drug had coursed through my system and left me satiated and peaceful in its wake. Sex like this would never get boring or old because each time was different. Miller was the type of man who would fluctuate in his sexual moods and I knew that I could expect the unexpected with him. I was looking forward to the excitement of being with a man who put a whole new twist on the word unpredictable.

I closed my eyes and thought about the sex with Miller. I fought off the urge to allow my hand to slip between my legs. I knew that Miller had gone home to pack. I wondered if there was another woman who stayed with him and I felt a pang of jealousy. He had warned me to not see any other men and I couldn’t help but wonder if he would quit playing the field. I made a mental note to ask him. As far as I am concerned what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, and if he expected monogamy from me then he damn sure better be willing to quit playing the field.

His good looks and bedroom abilities were sure to break the hearts of the women he had been fucking. He’d admitted that he wasn’t in emotional relationships, that he was doing just that—fucking them.

I was surprised how he’d opened himself up to me as much as he had already, and only time would tell me why he was able to do so with such ease. I guessed that it was due to his need to protect me, but what was he protecting me from? I had no idea why he believed that I was in danger, but it felt like that is what he believed. Maybe I was misinterpreting things. I made a mental note to study his behavior and try to glean some insight. It wouldn’t be easy to read a man like Miller, but if anyone could do it, I could. I have always had the ability to have insight into people, and I would need all of my skills to get inside of his head.

I opened my eyes when I heard the key in the door and waited for Miller to come find me. He made his way into the bathroom and leaned against the doorframe. I found myself being mesmerized with how much of the doorway his body took up. He was a solid mass of muscle.

He squatted down next to the bathtub and eyed me before speaking. I found myself becoming uncomfortable with the intensity of his gaze.

“I don’t want you opening the front door when I’m not here.”

“What about deliveries?”

“I don’t want you opening the front door when I am not here. If you think the spanking you got last night hurt, wait until you feel a cane across the back of your legs.”

I shuddered at the thought.

“I have an office desk and some supplies being delivered in the morning. I’ll set them up in the spare bedroom.”

His finger made its way under my chin and he turned my head causing me to look at him. “I have every intention of spending quite a bit of time here. I’m sure that you don’t mind.”

“You’re very confident about that. I like you being here though, so your confidence is ok.” I looked down and spoke more to myself than him as I splashed the tepid water over my lower body, “I feel safe when you’re here, and I like it.”

I chuckled as I watched Cali wind his away around Miller’s leg. It hadn’t taken him long at all to settle in. Miller picked him up and cut his eyes at me as he spoke to the cat, “You are the only male other than me who is allowed in here, aren’t you buddy?” Calli meowed as he nuzzled into the five o’clock shadow on Miller’s face. The man was gorgeous—a mixture between badass and GQ, and it sure did work for him.

Once again I felt a pang of jealousy. I blurted my question out before I had the chance to change my mind. “Are you seeing anyone?”

“You mean am I fucking anyone besides you? No I am not. In fact while we are on the subject…” He left the room not even bothering to finish his sentence and returned with a syringe and an empty vile to hold a blood specimen.

“What are doing?” I shrieked.

“We’re getting tested. I’m tired of having to use condoms. Are you on birth control?”

“Yes. I got a five year IUD when my husband and I divorced.”

“So that means you’ve been fucking around?”

“No, that means that I wasn’t going to take any chances. I haven’t been with anyone since my husband. In fact I have never been with anyone but him and you. I’m not a player like you are. Do you think you can be happy just sleeping with me?”

“I think that I can be ecstatic about fucking no one but you. I’ve got all kinds of things to teach you. Now give me your arm.”

Even though I winced as he stuck me with the needle, it was evident that he’d done this before. I wondered where he’d learned how to draw blood. He seemed to be a jack of all trades.

“I had no idea that you were a phlebotomist, Miller.”

“There is a lot you don’t know about me girl. It’s better that way though, it’ll keep you safe if you don’t know.”

“Safe from what?”

“My enemies.”

It made sense that he would have enemies. Finding out information to use in court against cheating spouses meant money was involved, and I wasn’t so naïve not to know what lengths people would go to for money. My ex-husband was a perfect example. Even though I had brought substantial income into the household, he’d tried to milk me dry financially. The only thing that had saved my ass was the fact that the judge was a woman. Who knows, maybe she had been fucked over by a womanizer too. It was bad enough that my husband had fucked around on me throughout our marriage, but to try and rob me blind in court was low, even for a scumbag like him.

I looked up to view Miller’s eyes cutting into me as he placed a cotton ball and band aid on my arm.

“Stop trying to guess what I’m thinking.”

“I don’t guess.”

For some reason my hackles rose. There was much more to this man than what he was telling me. He was still eyeing me as he spoke, “You are a contradiction in terms, young lady.” I intently listened as he continued. “You have the need to control, yet you enjoy being dominated.” He reached over tweaking a nipple and chuckled. “And I am just the man for the job. Now get out the tub, so I can fuck you raw.”

His blatant manner in which he talked about sex only served to turn me on. I liked this man—I liked him a lot…
