She took a deep breath and walked to the receptionist desk.

“Hi, I am here to see Max King!” The pretty brunette gave her a once over and stared at her with questioning suspicious eyes.

“What is this in reference to? Do you have an appointment?” She asked coldly.

The rude questions made her voice quiver. It was time to leave.
This was a bad idea. A very bad idea.

“I-I’m sorry. Never mind, I think I am in the wrong place.” She felt defeated as she hustled towards the elevator door.

“Kaya? Kaya?” She heard Max’s deep and rich masculine voice before she saw his face. She clutched her Bloomingdale store bag and turned towards him.
Please God don’t let him embarrass me or be embarrassed by me.
She couldn’t read the look on his face as he strolled towards her. One step. Two steps. Three…

“Damn you look beautiful!” He said as he swept her into his arms and kissed her passionately. She felt weak.

“Baby, why didn’t you let me know you were coming? I would have met you downstairs.” He took a long greedy look at her then dismissed Eric, leaving the receptionist’s mouth wide open. She wanted to cry she was so happy.

Max’s office was massive. The view was breathtaking. Kaya felt confident. Confident enough to move forward with her plan. As soon as they entered she locked the door behind them.

Click.

“Sit down Max!” Max looked perplexed but did as he was ordered. She moved towards the blinds and pulled the shades down, with one swift twist of the wrist they were shut.

“We need some privacy. I don’t want anyone to see what I’m about to do to you. Now, take your shirt off!” He quickly unbuttoned. She dropped the bag she was carrying to the floor but not before retrieving the small item inside.

“Now your pants sweet Max, but do it very slowly.” The sound of her direct commands was turning him on but also making her feel extremely uncomfortable.

Kaya felt flushed
.
She was trying to seduce him but waves of insecurity and embarrassment kept creeping up on her. She stopped and spoke apologetically.

“Sorry baby, I had this whole thing planned in my mind but I can’t. I feel foolish.” She tried to brush off the embarrassment but flushed cheeks and wide eyes gave her away. “Look, this was very silly and inappropriate. I’ll have Eric take me back to your place so you can get back to work. Dinner later?” she said scurrying towards the door.
Get out fast!

“Stop! You aren’t going anywhere,” he stated in deep sultry voice. His command sent chills up her spine. “If this is your fantasy I’m a happy, willing participant. Now come please your man.”

She breathed deeply then moved slowly towards him.

“That’s right, come to me and let me teach you how!” That was all that she needed to hear from him, her confidence level soared under his tutelage. She moved closer to him.

He stood, then started backing her up slowly, as his fingers ran up and down her skin.

“Now, let’s see what you have on. I was admiring your dress since I first saw you.” His fingers felt like silk tracing up her leg. His touch was gentle and slow, very slow and sensual! “I like the way the hem line caresses your sumptuous thighs. May I see more?” They stopped at the side of his mahogany desk.

He quickly pushed the few scattered papers on his desk wildly to the floor then lifted her up onto the desk.

Then he quickly spread her legs apart, far apart.

“Now, let’s see what’s underneath?” Max hurriedly hiked up the designer piece until he revealed her wet black laced panties. “Mmm, are these the panties I ordered for you today?”

She nodded with panted breaths.

He was taunting her, making her pussy muscles clench tightly. Sweat beads quickly formed on her brow, making her sick with lust.

“Well, I made a bad choice, take them off?” She shook her head “no” but her body said “yes”.

How could one man make her feel so unbelievable?
Ever since Kaya felt him explode in her the night before she yearned to feel it again, she didn’t care who heard.

Bashfully, Kaya handed him the small item in her hand. It was designer honey. He chuckled. “You want me to use this?”

She nodded like a kid caught in the cookie jar. He opened it and placed it on the desk.

Kaya was tired of talking, it was time to eat. She quickly tugged at his underwear, forcing it off, releasing his erect cock. He jerked her forward, rough and hard until his long thick member pushed against her thigh, hard and strong. Kaya moaned in his chest, trying not to be too loud. “Oh Max, give me more of last night.”

He whispered in her ear, “That was dinner baby I’m about to serve lunch!”

He ripped off her panties and lifted the Versace dress over her long black tresses. Her wayward curls scattered across her face. He pushed them back, he needed to see her beautiful face. Then, his talented fingers maneuvered their way to her aching buds. He unfastened her bra then tossed it to the side. She lunged in, grabbing his face with both of her hands, kissing him hard and rough; his groin muscles stirred as he soared to unthinkable heights. Next, he dipped one finger into the concoction, leaned her back and dropped two heaping puddles of honey on her breasts. He dove in, tugging and pulling, sucking and licking, nipping and biting until she nearly rolled off the desk.

Gasping she said, “Max, we shouldn’t do this here!”

“I can take my woman anytime I want.” He said groping her sweet spot. She rolled around, completely naked except for her studded black leather Manolo Blahnik heels that were driving into his back. It was time for her to get into the game.

“Come here!” She switched positions, pushed him against the desk and dropped to her knees, licking his member until he was raw with desire.

“Oh, Kaya, stop” he moaned but she didn’t stop. She stayed willingly in that position, getting to know his weakness until he almost climaxed.

“My turn Kaya!” Max placed her on her back then planted sweet wet kisses up and down her neck, until she was putty in his hands. Then he dipped his thick finger back into the honey and generously smeared it on her special region. He straddled her legs, forcing them up and around his sturdy muscular back.

“No, no, no! Oh Max!” He dived his tongue in, stroked, nibbled and sucked until she nearly climaxed. Then he shifted her forward and entered his woman. Her untamed pussy muscles accepted every inch. Long and strong, thick and firm, steady and quick he rode her until they exploded in ecstasy.

Moments later they collapsed and he pulled her into his arms on the hard desk.

“You’re going to ruin me,” she whispered in his ear.

“I know. Did you enjoy lunch?”

***

Naked as the day they were born, they sat closely together on the floor behind his desk. She nestled her loving head and long, midnight strands in his lap while she caressed his sticky, smooth hands.

Kaya laughed hysterically when he had lunch delivered to his office. She giggled uncontrollably when he stuck out his bare arm out to his secretary; retrieved their food, and then slid the payment underneath the door. He was acting like a school kid, and he was enjoying each moment. But soon, their time would come to an end and the mere thought made him sick. He couldn’t focus on that. He needed to live in the moment.

***

Nearly an hour had drifted by and Kaya knew it was time to go. She was sad. Leaving Max was getting more difficult but the constant buzzing of his phone and the nonstop tapping at his door were clear indications she had out worn her welcome. She kissed him softly and then they began shaking out their wrinkled sex tousled clothes.

Max then called his assistant and quickly reshuffled his schedule. Then he dialed Eric and gave him specific instructions to take Kaya home. He was so in control and it turned her on.
When they got near the elevator she kissed him long, strong and hard.

“Thanks for our meeting Mr. King. I look forward to seeing you later.”

“Oh you will! And don’t forget to bring the honey.”

The snobby receptionist cringed with disgust, she had just gotten a dose of her own medicine.

CHAPTER TWELVE

“That’s great news. Thank you Eric. I’ll let her know. No, a promise is a promise she can go to work today without any security. Again thank you for the last few months of hard work. I will be in touch.” Max stated with hesitation in his voice. He wasn’t happy. He didn’t like the fact that Kaya wasn’t going to having security today but the attacker was now off the streets and he had to respect her wishes. Even if he didn’t like it.

“They caught him Max?” As he nodded, she leapt into his arms.

“Thank God! I am so appreciative of everything you’ve done for me. Oh, this is great.” She shouted planting sweet loving kisses all over his face. But nothing but sadness swept over Max. The inevitable was just around the corner, and he wasn’t ready to let her go. Their time was running out and tonight, he would have to man up and have a discussion with her about their next steps. He wasn’t looking forward to that conversation.

Kaya sent Angela a quick text:
I’m free! He’s locked up!
She did a little dance then grabbed her book bag. She was already dressed in her scrubs. They both were running late, as usual, after spending too much time in an early morning sex-a-thon.

“Q-Train, here I come! I can’t wait be a normal New Yorker. Oh thank goodness no one will be following me or watching me like a hawk today.” He laughed but deep down he was irritated. He shrugged it off. If he could have gone back fifteen years earlier he would have done things so much differently. Maybe Kaya would have been his… WIFE! What the hell was he thinking, she would never want him?

He looked at her intently as they moved towards the elevator. The entire ride he kept quiet trying to process this ache in his heart, this unbelievable longing to be with her every minute of the day, a need to claim her forever.

Then it hit him.

Max was a man in love.

The reality of the emotion ran through him like a roller coaster. He felt a warm sensation run through his body. Oh Kaya was so different from any other woman he had dated. He loved the fact that she didn’t care anything about his money or anything his money could buy. She seemed to just enjoy him, it was refreshing and liberating. No, it was love.

When they finally got downstairs he was thoroughly pissed. Startled by this new emotion, he paced in front of the car, wanting to be overprotective again.

“Can I drop you off at least to the train station? You can select whatever music you want to listen to in the car.” She knew something was on his mind. She could tell something was digging into his core, but what? She brushed it off.

“No Max! I love catching the train. You should try it sometime Daddy Warbucks!” Kaya could tell he wasn’t in the joking mood but she wasn’t going to compromise, not about this, she couldn’t. She planted small kisses on his hands and decided to meet him half way, to make him feel better.

“Okay grumpy, how about you pick me up this afternoon outside of the 42
nd
Street station? We can grab some Thai food from your favorite restaurant and watch a good movie!” Max was getting more aggravated by the minute but he no longer had a say so he nodded in approval. He needed to loosen the reigns, because very soon the love of his life would be gone.

“Fine baby, anything you want. Just be careful okay?”

***

Kaya’s day was slammed with patients. She didn’t even have time to take a lunch break. Her stomach grumbled loudly. “I can’t wait for Thai,” she mumbled under her breathe realizing it was 6pm and her shift was over. Exhausted, she grabbed her phone and called Max but his phone went straight to voicemail. She left a quick message, then clocked out. Kaya shuffled through her iPod, took a sip of Snapple Tea, and let some sweet jams fill her mind. For the first time, in a long time she was happy. She was going to find a way to remain in his arms. With Max completely on her mind, she began the short walk to the nearby train station, only a block away. She was so distracted with her happy thoughts that she never saw him coming, never!

***

The attack was sudden.

His punches were fierce and swift, then wild and frantic. Donald Stevens, released on bond a few hours before, was back for revenge and this time he was going to end her life, once and for all.

An unexpected blow to her stomach made Kaya lose her footing and she fell to the pavement. He grabbed her feet and dragged her down the cement causing her headset to bend and break at the metal portion and her tea bottle to shatter into hundreds of chards of glass.

Fighting back with all her might she managed to thrust the dull, broken metal into his arm.

He screamed then dropped her.

Crawling on her knees she dug the metal deeper in his flesh then pulled it out. Then she jammed a piece of glass into his leg; he fell to his knees. Yelling and swearing Donald attracted the attention of three strangers but not before Kaya forced another piece of glass into his hand. He tumbled to the ground.

“Help! Help! Please someone help me. Please!” An almost inaudible Kaya screamed.

The two men quickly pinned Donald down while the woman came to her aid.

Kaya squeezed the stranger’s hand tightly then her body went into shock, minutes later she fell unconscious on the cold ground.

***

Max was concerned. It was almost 7:15pm and she still hadn’t arrived at the 42
nd
Street station.

He checked his phone again and realized he had a missed call from Kaya but before he could retrieve the message his phone rang. It was Eric.

“Hey Eric, I wanted to thank you again for all the hard work on the case…”

But Eric abruptly cut him off.

“Mr. King, you need to get to Mount Sinai Hospital immediately.”

He paused.

“Kaya was just attacked.”

CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Max King frantically rushed into the emergency room. He needed to see Kaya. The unfortunate story, which made headlines 10 years ago, was already on every local station causing a frenzy of reporters to gather outside of the hospital. Helicopters paced the sky like rodents fleeing a well lit room. It was sheer madness.
