"I want you so badly," he growled. "I shall never want another!"

And then his fingers were fumbling with the buttons of his trousers. In a matter of a few seconds, he'd freed himself. When his erect manhood sprang forth, Cara couldn't help biting her lip in anticipation. The night of their wedding –
last
night, which seemed so long ago somehow – she hadn't really gotten a good look at her husband before they'd made love. Now the moonlight showed her just how long and thick he was. She marveled that all of that had fit inside her, and would again soon. A small bead of moisture stood at its bulbous head. The sight sent a wave of ragged desire rushing through her being. She wanted him inside of her, claiming her, filling her with his seed. She lay back, reaching for him as he advanced on her. His eyes were wild and hungry.

"My wife..." he murmured as he knelt before her, bringing himself to rest between her parted legs. "My Cara."

She lifted her knees and lay back all the way, bringing him with her. Then she felt Eliot's hand between them, reaching to grasp his slick member. When he brushed its tip over her sex, she moaned with need. She was aching, throbbing, yearning to be filled. She couldn't wait anymore. Her hips rose of their own accord, straining towards her desire, begging for him to penetrate her fully. Eliot needed no further urging. Without hesitation, he pushed all the way in.

There was some soreness from the night before, but it was nothing compared to the blinding satisfaction of having her husband inside her. She moaned excitedly, feeling her muscles tense around him. He didn't wait this time. Almost immediately, he began to thrust deeply, over and over again, pounding her, working her, possessing her. She cried out with each thrust. She loved the slick sounds of their bodies coming together, the feel of the cool moonlight caressing her face as his body kept her warm from above. Her breasts were bouncing freely, and when he reached up and grasped one, squeezing it hard, her breath caught in her throat. She was rushing swiftly towards that drop off that she had discovered the night before and knew she would climax soon.

"Yes!" she groaned. "Oh, yes!"

He leaned forward over her, quickening his pace even more now. He looked deeply into her eyes. She reached up, pushing his sweat-dampened hair from off his brow.

"I...love...you." he bit out raggedly.

The words sent her spinning over the edge.

"Husband..." she gasped. Her entire body seemed to pull together tightly, focusing on the center of pleasure between her legs. At the same time, she felt him become rigid in her arms, groaning as he achieved his release. Wild rivulets of sensation worked through her loins, through her chest, all the way to the tips of her toes and fingers. She held onto Eliot, rocked in his arms as the orgasm split her mind and carried her far, far away.

Little by little, after several long moments, Cara began to return to herself. She could feel the grass beneath her, her husband's warm body above. He was collapsed over her, and his breath tickled her neck lightly, stirring her hair. The stars overhead were twinkling brightly.

She smiled to herself as her breathing slowed. Somehow she knew that everything was going to be alright. She knew that her husband's heart was a complex maze, but no more complex than her own. And if she occasionally got lost trying to understand the twists and turns along the way as she navigated this marriage, well... She would find the true path eventually. Because she wasn't alone. She had someone to share her secrets with.

He was fallible. He could be strange and mysterious, by turns hard and exquisitely gentle. But then, so could she.

And one thing above all else was true: they loved each other.

The End!
