Read The Red Eye 3 (The Red Eye Erotic Romance Series) Online
Authors: Avery Phillips
A lot had changed in the six months since I’d returned to New York. As promised, Rick had been moved to the Boston office, and last I’d heard, he was dating Angela. Although Grayson had lifted his ban on my entering Caesar and Krause property, I’d decided against going back to law and instead had gone back to school to study interior design.
Of course, my studies were going to have to be put on hold once the baby arrived. Devon and I hadn’t been planning on having children just yet, but let’s say that the way that we’d been going, it wasn’t exactly a surprise to see that little blue line appear.
I turned my back on the throng of women and tossed the bouquet high in the air. Screams split the air as they all made a beeline for it, two women actually fighting over it until one of them emerged victorious with the larger section of my now destroyed wedding flowers.
We posed for what seemed like an endless stream of photos before we were finally able to get into the limousine that was going to take us to the reception at Devon’s family home in Martha’s Vineyard.
Yes, I’d caved on the venue as well. In my defense, it
was
a beautiful location, and after Grayson said he’d pay to fly out all my folks as well as cover their accommodation and expenses, I ran out of excuses to say no.
Devon opened the door to the car before climbing in behind me. The car pulled away as our friends and family waved and cheered us on our way.
Devon tapped on the glass separating us from the chauffeur. “Would you mind darkening the glass?”
“Of course, sir.”
The chauffeur pressed a button and the barrier between us turned black, making it impossible for him to see what we were doing.
“Now then. I know it’s traditional for a bride and groom to wait until their wedding night to consummate the wedding, but the way that you look, I simply can’t wait that long.”
I laughed as Devon nuzzled against my neck, his hand finding its way up the layers of skirts I was wearing. He gasped when he discovered that I wasn’t wearing any underwear.
“I figured you might like that.” I grinned as he unbuttoned his pants.
“Oh yes, Rebecca. I like that a lot.”
As we lay back on the car seat together, I closed my eyes, wanting this moment to last forever.
“I love you, Mr. Caesar.”
“I love you, too, Mrs. Caesar.”
The End
I wanted to you show my appreciation for reading Red Eye. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it.
