EPILOGUE

Jayme approached the flower-covered arch, her blue, green, and purple silk dress skimming the sand just above her bare feet. The ocean waves lapped gently at the sandy beach a few feet away. The staff at Holm Cay was more than obliging when Jayme made the request, and they were all in attendance. She looked at the gathering and saw Alan and Jennifer, her sister Diana, and a fragile Marge Thomas supported by her husband Jim. And there was Daniel and Miguel. Jayme even managed to get Katherine out of her office for the occasion. Miguel moved away from the gathering to talk to Jayme.

“I see you’ve found your destiny, and it was on that wall after all.” He kissed her cheek and stepped aside.

Her eyes settled on the man waiting for her, her soon-to-be husband, Dr. Mark Steele.

The ceremony was beautiful and brief.

As their friends and family tossed rose petals at them, Mark whispered to Jayme, “Have you decided on where we will go on our honeymoon?”

She glanced at Marge and then smiled up at him. “Aruba!”
