, Louise Steinman has curated public programs for the Los Angeles Public Library. She is also Co-Director of the Los Angeles Institute of the Humanities at USC. Louise Steinman's previous edition of
The Souvenir
was named a featured selection of the Literary Guild, Traditions Book Club, and the Book of the Month Club, as well as a selection for the 2007–08 Reads Together program in Eugene, Oregon, the 2006 Silicon Valley Reads (fifteen cities) program, and the 2003 Summer Reading list for all freshmen at Penn State University. Steinman's work appears frequently in the
