 “So,
sweetlips, how old are you?”

“I must say, I
cannot imagine that is the kind of question you ask all those glamorous women
you usually date.”

“How many
times must we beat a dead horse, Allison?  You keep saying you refuse to be one
of my floozies, yet you want me to treat you the same.  Is that what you really
want?  A one-night stand with me?”

Allison was
amazed by the anger that darkened his clear blue eyes as he scowled at her.
She ran her tongue over her lips and his eyes turned hungry as he followed the
pink glistening tip.

“If that’s the
case, you can put it out of your mind.
I’m not interested in
a one-night stand with you.
I want more and I
won’t stop until I get it.”

“I suppose you
always get what you want, huh?”

“What do you
think?”  His smile was feral.

The waiter
arrived with their drinks and a straw, then took their meal order.  Allison
watched him walk away and bit her lip, tempted to call him back.  She knew it
was a mistake to be alone with Tiaan Sheppard.  He was just too demanding
and…tempting.  He made her yearn for something she had begun to believe was not
in the stars for her.  He made her want to throw caution to the wind and just
give in to his demands.

“I’ll start,
then.  I’m thirty-five, and the second born twin.  Mason is five minutes older
than me.”

“I’ll be
thirty in four months.”

Such was the
beginning to a very pleasant evening.  Tiaan kept asking her questions about
her life, her youth and her family and shared pieces of his own life at the
same time.  He told her many stories of Mason and himself when they were younger,
making her laugh.  She was completely relaxed and did not even withdraw her
hand when he began to graze his thumb over her palm.

“I need to ask
you a
favor
.”

“I’m
listening.”

“Would you be
so kind as to grant me a kiss?”

“Tiaan …”

“Just one
kiss.”

Sighing her acquiescence,
Tiaan immediately tugged her from her chair and onto his lap.  She landed
softly on top of him and her luscious curves filled his hands.  A tempting
fragrance surrounded her and he drew it deep into his lungs.  Her scent was
that of a light, yet sweet perfume and Tiaan could tell she had washed her hair
that morning, as it smelled like heaven. Tiaan gently lifted her face to his to
caress her luxurious skin, touching her soft lips with his thumb, the moment
she settled on his lap.  He removed the clip from her hair and feathered the
silky strands through his fingers.

“Beautiful.”
His raspy voice whispered against her lips.

Tiaan leaned
toward her and paused just before he touched her lips.  She had closed her eyes
and that was the only invitation he needed.  His lips captured hers with
passionate urgency, then he calmed, slowly sweeping his tongue from one edge to
the other.   Allison tangled her fingers in the short hairs at the nape of his
neck and pulled him toward her in a sudden move of passion. She opened her
mouth a little, inviting him in and their tongues interlocked in a sensual
dance.

For one
blissful moment, Allison let go of her inhibitions, needing his hot hands on
her, his lips ravishing hers.  She abandoned all her uncertainties.  Tiaan pulled
sensually on her lips,     probing gently as if drawing her capitulation, from
a deep well of longing and need.   Their heated tongues met in the midst of hot,
quickening breaths, and Tiaan’s hand brushed over her chest to cup her breast,
forcing a husky mewl of need from Allison’s lips.

The sound of
breaking glass shattered the intimate moment, the reckless abandonment of all
senses and Allison snatched her mouth from Tiaan’s.  Their eyes met and they
stared at each other for a long time.  A small puff of breath escaped Allison’s
lips as Tiaan skimmed the back of his hand down her cheek with gentle
tenderness.

“You will he
mine, Allison, know that.  Once you are, you will surrender to me completely
and will never want to leave.”

Chapter
Three

Allison arrived on Block Island,
nestled 12 miles off the coast of Rhode Island, by ferry.  She got in her car as
soon as the ferry gate opened and drove toward Mason’s estate.  It was Brooklyn’s
birthday, but Mason had decided it was a good day to get married as well.  Brooklyn,
however, had no idea of his plans.  Mason contacted her two weeks earlier to
ask for her help and she was more than happy to oblige.

The love those
two shared was tangible and surreal.
It was the kind of
love she dreamt of.
A vision of Tiaan
Sheppard flashed through her mind and for a moment, she lost her train of
thought.  She shook her head in irritation.

Forget
about him.  He is exactly the type of man I should not fall in love with.  Not
with his reputation as a Casanova who loves variety.

Brooklyn would be the
first to point out that Mason was considered to be a womanizer before he met
her.
The ‘Tycoon Twins’ were well known in
the media and tabloids.  Both Mason and Tiaan played the field until Mason met Brooklyn.
Now, it was only Tiaan whom the tabloids reported on weekly.  Allison snorted.
She had yet to read a single tabloid article about him that did not involve a
supermodel, actress, heiress, or whatever.  Every photo included showed a
different woman by his side.  The man must be
made
of testosterone.  How
he managed to have sex with all of those women was beyond Allison’s
imagination.

“So, Allison,
how do you propose avoiding me today?”

Allison froze
at the throaty voice that whispered against her temple, the moment she closed
the car door.  She felt his heat at her back and her body reacted instantaneously.
Her nipples pebbled into tightly aroused nubs, triggering a throbbing in her
clit at the same time. He twirled her around with his hands on her hips and
pressed her back against the car.

He watched a cinder
burst into flame in her eyes the moment he pressed his hips against hers,
grinding his fully aroused cock against her soft stomach.

“Tiaan…”

“Ah, Blondie,
I love my name on your lips.”

Allison
watched his head lower and she willed her body not to react, but to push him
away. Contrary to her order, her wayward body had other ideas.  As if she were bewitched,
her eyes fell closed and her chin raised to accept his kiss.

His fingers
sliced through her hair to hold her head between his big hands as he pressed
her harder against the car.  Then, his warm lips captured hers and he kissed
her.  Oh, sweet Lord, did he kiss her!  Deep, passionately drugging strokes
that were more arousing than any full-body seduction.  A kiss unlike any other
she had felt before.

Allison was
completely his in that moment.  She melted against him, into him and even
around him.  She had absolutely no
defense
against his masterful possession of her mouth.  Her core pulsed and clenched
tightly with every pull of his lips over hers.  He took his time
savoring
her, and she had wilted by the time
he lifted his head to look into her eyes.

The intensity
of the moment shone in both of their eyes, hers were glazed over and his were hooded,
glittering with desire.  He leaned down once more, nuzzling her ear, he whispered
softly, “Tonight, sweet Allison, tonight you will be mine.  I have waited long
enough.”

Allison
stiffened, her body pressed tightly against him, her fingers curling over his
defined, sculpted chest.  Her eyes burned with fire and he grinned, his white
teeth flashing against his tanned face.

“Let me go.  I’ve
already told you Tiaan, I am not going to be one of your hussies.”

“And I already
told you that we
are
going to be together.  I always get what I want,
Allison, and you will find that this time will be no different.”  He traced her
jaw and, with darkened eyes, dared her to deny her own desires, “Can you
honestly say you don’t want me too, Allison?”

Allison
swallowed.  No matter how much she wanted to deny him, her lips would not form
the words.  Maybe he realized the effect he had on her better than she had
known it herself.

Tiaan allowed
his fingers to run through her hair and he pressed the silky tresses against
his face, breathing in the soft jasmine scent.

“Beautiful.  I
could fall asleep wrapped in these silky strands.  One day, little Allison, you
are going to wrap these luxurious strands around me and give me the pleasure I
have been dreaming of.”

He pressed his
cock seductively against her hip and her breath caught in her throat, realizing
what he meant. Her core reacted with a flush of liquid heat moistening her
panties.

“Hey,
Allie…Mason is looking for you.  Said you have something he needs.”

Michael
strolled closer, his eyebrows raised in Tiaan’s direction being the only sign
that he had noticed their closeness before he interrupted.  Tiaan’s expression
gave nothing away, but Allison could not prevent the pink blush that spread
over her cheeks at the thought of just how much he must have seen.

They went off
to look for Mason so Allison could give him the ring that she had collected
from the
jeweler
. Mason had purchased and had the ring
sized in the city, asking Allison for help in order to keep the surprise from
Brooklyn.

“I was
wondering how much longer you were going to be. I can’t wait to get this ring
on her finger.”

Allison looked
at Mason with wide eyes.

“So soon?”

“The earlier
the better.  Are the two of you ready?”

Mason glanced
between Tiaan and Allison.  He frowned at Tiaan when a look he knew very well
flashed across his face.  He grunted with a grin.

“Not the type
of readiness I was referring to, brother dear.”

Tiaan
chuckled, his eyes feverish as they brushed over Allison’s skin.  “Yes, big
brother, we are ready to stand by you in your
moment of weakness
.”

“Ah, but that’s
where you are wrong.  This is anything but weakness.  This is the first step to
the happiest days of my life.”

“Oh how the
mighty one has fallen.  Are you one hundred percent sure about this, big
brother?”

Allison
slammed her fists on her waist and condemned Tiaan with a frosty stare.  He
just cemented her decision not to give in to the moment of weakness she felt
and would not give in to his demands.

“At least your
brother has decided to change his philandering ways for the better.
It’s
a lot more that can be said for you and your…your bull amongst all the…”

“Careful there
sweetlips, you might just be on the verge of insulting your future husband.”

“Oh
puh-leez

Using yourself and husband in the same sentence is an insult to husbands
everywhere. I doubt you have ever dated the same woman twice, if the pictures
and tabloids are anything to go by.  You would do a lot better with a harem,
not a wife.”

“Maybe, just
like Mason, I need the right woman to break me of my roving ways. Guess who I
have on my radar, baby?”

“You can just point
your…radar,” and she pointed at his still semi-aroused cock pressing against
his pants, “In another direction.  If there is one thing I don’t do, it is
share.  You, Tiaan Sheppard, will wither and die if you had to survive
servicing only one pussy.”

Michael and
Mason choked on their laughter and Tiaan’s eyes narrowed, but before he could
respond, Allison turned on her heel and stomped around the pool toward
Brooklyn.  Tiaan could not tear his eyes away from her softly swaying hips and
his cock hardened again.

Patience,
buddy, I know there has been a drought lately, but this is going to be your lucky
night. Allison Hadley is going to wrap those hot, sweet, soft folds around you
tonight.

Having a
conversation with his cock was the epitome of pitiful to say the least and he
grimaced inwardly. At least he was honest with Allison.  He wanted her and he
was going to have her.  He’d be damned if he would allow anyone to stand in his
way…Allison would find that he was ruthless enough to break down every single
one of her defenses if she dared to try to stay away from him.  They were meant
to be.

Tiaan grit his
teeth as he watched Lucas, one of their best friends, drape his arm around
Allison and an expletive escaped his lips.

Regardless of
what the tabloids reported and the numbers of women who wrapped themselves
around him wherever he went, he had not had sex in months and he was fucking
dying.  Dying with desire and need for a hot, wet and hungry pussy…Allison’s
pussy.  That was the one he wanted.  That was the
only
one he wanted.

He looked at
Mason and shook his head at the warm smile around his brother’s lips as he
gazed at Brooklyn.  His brother fell hard and he fell fast.  Brooklyn
completely floored him from the first day he met her.  Since he’d witnessed the
closeness and love they shared, Tiaan had become restless.  Apart from having
no real interest in having sex with any of the women he had taken out in recent
months, he had even lost interest in going out with them at all.  He wanted the
same thing Mason had.  He wanted his own forever after. The first day they met,
no, the first moment he took Allison’s hand in his, he knew he had found it.

Tiaan made it a
point to be near Allison from that point forward.  Every time she turned around
she bumped into him and every time he was quick to draw her against his body,
ensuring her awareness of his arousal.

He was
standing behind her when Mason dropped to his knee in front of Brooklyn.  He
smiled at her wondrous, “Oh how romantic,” exclamation.

They watched
Mason smile lovingly up at Brooklyn.  His voice was raw, eyes glistening.   He took
her hand in his and she stared at him in astonishment.

“Brooklyn Zita
Hadley, I love you with every cell in my body.  You are the other half of my
soul, the one who completes me. Honey … will you marry me?”

Tears coursed
down Brooklyn’s cheeks as they stared at each other.  Their love for each other
present for all to see.  She nodded her head and fell into Mason’s arms, their
lips met in a bond of love, sealing their vow to each other.

“I do love you
Mason Sheppard.  With all my heart, my body and my soul. Yes, yes, yes a
hundred times yes!  I will marry you.”

Mason took Brooklyn’s
hand and gently pushed the ring on her finger amidst her breathless gasp. She
could not take her eyes off of the ring on her finger.  Mason’s eyes caught
hers again and he lifted her chin to keep her eyes on him alone.

“I perhaps
need to clarify this a little more, my love.  Now … will you marry me now …
here … right now, at this moment?”

Brooklyn’s
mouth gaped open as she stared at Mason in wonder and joy.

“Now?  We’re
getting married now?”

“Only if you
say yes, my love.”

Brooklyn’s
smile was beautiful, blinding in its joy and love for him and Mason had a
visible catch in his breath.  Her answer whispered on the air to him and was caught
by Tiaan and Allison, who stood the closest.

“I already
did, baby!  The first time you made me yours.”

Mason looked
around and grinned at Tiaan and Allison, amidst the thunderous applause from
their guests.  Tiaan took over from there and physically dragged Brooklyn away
from Mason, propelling her toward Allison.

“So, go and do
the girly thing with your cousin.  Fix her makeup, do the waxy-thing, put some
flowers in her hair
,
while we get all of the guests settled for the ceremony.”

Allison
laughingly slipped her arm through Brooklyn’s and admired her ring, with love
and longing swirling in her heart.  Her own loneliness suddenly becoming too
much to bear.  Now, more than anything, she realized it was time to put her
past behind her and find her own true love.

Brooklyn’s
father waited for them on the patio when they stepped out of the house twenty
minutes later.  She looked beautiful and could not have been more of a bride
with her loose flowing chiffon dress and the small flowers Allison had woven into
her hair.

Tiaan and
Allison flanked the couple during the poignant ceremony, which was short, but magical.

For the
opening dance, Tiaan drew Allison into his arms and held her close.  He did not
speak, but simply nuzzled his face in her hair, which he seemed to have a
fascination with.

Allison had
trouble keeping her fingers from trembling in his hand.  A zealous reaction to
the heat that flooded every cell in her body the moment he urged her up against
him.  She swallowed and bit her lip.

Damn…I
want this man.  So. Bloody. Much!

She had not
been with a man in over a year.  On her twenty-second birthday, she became
engaged to Greg Scott, whom she met in college.  They were together for two
years before they got engaged and another three before they set their wedding
date.  Three days before their wedding she went to collect her wedding dress, and
upon arriving home Greg informed her he was not ready for marriage. They had
been engaged for five years. Five years!
