“I need you inside me, to stretch me, to make me feel
full and complete.”

The moans and groans came from everywhere, making her feel
powerful, sensual.

We’re in my world and I want you here, with me!”
She
stopped kissing him in order to look at him, and her mates followed her
example.

“He mentioned something about a spell they used so he
couldn’t dream-walk,” Duncan murmured, panting.

“I’m not going to allow a strange magic to hurt him in my
world,” she growled, ignoring Duncan’s surprised expression. She checked each
single connection Xiu still had to his world and destroyed each one of them,
leaving only the golden thread that kept his soul connected to his body.

The first sign that he was returning was the relieved gleam
in his pupils. He shut his dry eyes for a long moment but his calm expression
reassured her that he was fine.

“Ged, check him just in case he’s still under a spell
,

Duncan ordered.

“Duncan, I’m right here. I can hear you.” Xiu sighed.

“Fuck, I need to get used to this telepathic shit.”

“Yeah! If I’m going to hear your banter all day every day,
then I do too!” Xui rolled his eyes. “Now, where were we?”

“Sarah was about to mount you, Ged was about to fuck her ass
and I was about to remember how her lips felt around my cock,” he explained,
showing Xiu his best grin. “And now that you’re back, you’re invited to help
her out with it.”

Ged snorted. “Didn’t you leave out some intermediate steps
in the plan to reach your goal?”

She saw Xiu scowling at Ged but before he could protest, she
beat him to it. Two days foreplay had to be enough for everyone! “Ged is wrong;
Duncan is right.”

“I am?” Duncan asked, obviously surprised.

“I am?” Ged asked the same thing, an amused gleam in his
eyes.

Xiu, of course, kept quiet.

“Yes you are!” Sarah reasserted firmly, accommodating
herself over Xiu’s stiff shaft.

She didn’t wait for them to decide if they wanted to take
part or not. With a low, blissful moan, she slowly glided down his hard length.
Taking him in wasn’t as easy as she’d expected at first. He was huge and her
tight sheath accepted him reluctantly, but it felt incredible to be filled so
thoroughly. With both hands intertwined with his, she moved her hips in every
direction. Speed or rhythm didn’t matter—it was pleasure all in all.

Ged was the first to react. He situated himself behind her,
so close he was almost one with her. She could feel his hard-on pulsing against
her ass but he didn’t try to penetrate her. Instead, he moved with her, as if
their skin was glued together, and he kissed her shoulders, adding the
slightest touch of his long fangs here and there. His hands reached her
sensitive breasts and he took his time to caress and explore. She would have
liked a mirror to see how his white hands contrasted with her tanned skin.

It was Xiu who gave her much more than she’d imagined. In
her mind appeared the images he was seeing. She watched them eagerly. Was that
sexy woman with her face contorted in pleasure really she? It was more than just
exciting to see her hips moving in sensual circles over Xiu’s erection while
Ged’s hands kneaded her round breasts and his expression reflected his hunger
for her.

When Duncan’s hands appeared out of nowhere to replace
Ged’s, his sturdy fingers found new ways to torture her. The first contact with
her clit made her jolt in delight. From there it became a fast ascent to her
peak. She felt like a pinball, where the powerful, sharp pleasure lashed out
and rushed through her body from one sensitive point to another—from her neck
to her womb, from her core to her shoulders, from her nipples to her clit… She
contorted, moaned and cried, and at the same time sensed how a tsunami of
energy was crossing her world, coming straight toward her.

They didn’t give her the chance to recover. Before the last
wave of her climax subsided, Ged had already pushed her carefully toward Xiu’s
arms. He awaited her impatiently, ready to claim her lips. As if they were
working in unison, Xiu kept her distracted with his kisses, Duncan’s fingers
played in her soaked folds and Ged worked the thick tip of his cock into her
tight, virgin ass. It hurt but her groans were drowned in Xiu’s mouth. With
Duncan’s fingers playing dirty games with her clit, instead of moving away, she
ended up pushing Ged’s shaft deeper and deeper inside her.

She reached a point where she couldn’t take any more. With
both their cocks filling her, there wasn’t any more space left. They were
stretching her to her limits—she couldn’t possibly take more, she was—

“Shhhh, baby! I’m already inside.”

“Yeah, that much is clear! And as long as nobody moves…”

Ged was the first one to move.

Ged! Ged! Geeed…!”

With his first three pushes, she wanted nothing more than to
kill him! But when Xiu moved too, and both their cocks began to rub against
each other inside her, and Duncan pinched her clit and sucked at her nipple…
Oh
my…ohhhhh!

She’d never experienced something so intense. There wasn’t
an inch of her being not vibrating with pleasure. She couldn’t concentrate on
anything other than the cocks pounding inside her, the wet sounds they made
moving in and out, Ged’s balls slapping against her ass, Duncan’s scorching
mouth over her nipples, his…teeeth!

“Sarah, baby… There’s something we must tell you.”

“Ged, not yet, I…can’t…think…I’m…about…to…come…”

“I know, little one, but I don’t want to scare you.”

“Scare…me? Ged… Ohhhh!”

“In order to claim you, we need to bite you.”

“Bite… Yeah… Whatever…”

“All three of us.”

“Whatever!”
Even her thoughts sounded breathless.
“Just.
Don’t. Stop!”

At the same moment her world went upside down and the
tsunami of energy crashed against her, three pairs of fangs sank into her soft
skin. Her soul filled with lights and colors, and the universe began to spin
around her. It felt like an eternal, out-of-control orgasm and it just kept
going on and on and on… Even when they released her, withdrawing their fangs,
and Duncan’s cock demanded to be admitted between her open lips—even when the
three of them were overpowered by their mating frenzy and started pounding fast
and rough inside her—her climax continued. Only after the light inside her
exploded and the last one of them spurted his hot semen into her did her body
finally relax. But faint waves of pleasure remained.

She let herself fall over Xiu. Duncan lay down beside them
after sweetly kissing her shoulder.

“Sarah, are you all right? Did we hurt you?” Ged asked
anxiously.

“Nope. I’m feeling veeery well!”
She slurred her
speech but she’d spoken the truth. Their cocks were still pulsing inside her,
keeping the delightful sensations in her belly alive, and the overdoses of
energy made her feel a bit drunk.

“The being… It’s gone!” Xiu stated after a while.

“Entirely?” Duncan asked, incredulous.

“Yep! For ever and ever and ever…” She giggled.

“Sarah, are you sure you’re okay?” Ged asked again, his cock
slipping out of her.

“Noooo!”

“No? What? Are you hurt? Are the wizards doing something to
you? Or—?”

“No, I didn’t want you to move,” she declared with a pout.

“Er…okay.” After a moment, he seemed to calm down and a soft
smile appeared on his face.

“Come here, Sarah, let go of Xiu,” Ged instructed patiently
before he took her in his arms. “We need do give you a shower and talk.”

“Can’t we talk tomorrow?” How could they want to talk? She
only wanted to sleep!

“No, little one, it has to be as soon as we have you washed
and fed.”

Chapter Eight

Xiu tried to blink. Even his lashes felt as if they were
made out of concrete. Moving the rest of his aching body wasn’t even a
possibility. He inspected the room from between half-open eyes to discover
escape routes and whatever danger awaited him there. It didn’t take him much
time to determine there weren’t any windows, only a closed door and a sad light
bulb to illuminate the whole cell.

Duncan’s sister sat in a corner. Heavy silver chains held
her down, abrading her skin on those places where her clothes didn’t protect
her. With her head resting on the old stone wall, her lips split and a swollen
eye, she was watching him intently. Without moving her lashes, she turned her
eyes toward the other corner, where a wizard sat at a desk, obviously lost in
his computer game. Xiu wanted to nod imperceptibly to show her he understood
but to do so would require too much effort.

He checked out the rest of the room until his gaze fell on a
small bundle on the floor. His heart stopped beating when he recognized Sarah’s
still form. It wasn’t the strong, beautiful Sarah he’d just left behind in her
dream world, but rather the sick, bony girl he’d known at the hospital. In spite
of all the energy he’d given back to her, her body hadn’t been able to restore
in the real world. Xiu wanted to roar, for all the wizards to hear. He was
going to slaughter them all and leave their corpses to rot under the harsh sun
of the Tatacoa Desert! They’d tossed his
Centehua
onto the cold ground
without consideration. Her wrists bled, chafed by the rough rope. Why had they
bound her anyway? She was so weak she wouldn’t probably be able to sit straight
on her own.

He squeezed his eyes shut. Here he was, watching his
Centehua
lying defenseless in front of him, and he wasn’t able to break free of his
cuffs. Not once in all his centuries and throughout all the pain and torture
he’d gone through had he felt as helpless as he was right now.

“Sarah!”
He willed her to open her eyes. He needed to
be sure she was okay. Her spirit wouldn’t survive in her dream world if her
body died.

Her lashes fluttered until finally her beautiful eyes
connected with his and a weak smile showed on her face, transmitting warmth.
The smile vanished as her gaze fell to his chest and from there to his thighs.
A bad gut feeling made him look down his body. There they were… The scars and
brands that marked him as a slave! The wizard’s magic had left him in such a
debilitated state that even his glamour had disappeared, leaving him exposed.

He closed his eyes in shame. What would she think about him
now? About a worthless slave? How would she take the fact that he’d had the
audacity to mate with her, all the while knowing he wasn’t worthy to breathe
the same air as she did? Past images returned, reminding him what happened when
someone like him wished to be a normal man. The tortures, the mocking, the
embarrassment, the pain… He could still hear the emperor’s daughter’s cackling,
see her sneers when he’d told her he loved her and wanted to marry her. When
she made her guards throw him into the middle of the marketplace, unclothed,
for the people to humiliate him even further. They’d used him as workhorse,
hitting him mercilessly while he lay bound hand and foot… How would Sarah react
when she discovered that he’d been serving his mistresses with more than his
battle skills, that sometimes even his masters used him in punishment and that
he was unable to avoid it.

“Knock it off!”

Gedeon’s sharp tone silenced the voices and the cruel
laughter in Xiu’s head. However, the awareness that the vampire had witnessed
his memories only mortified him more.

Enough, Xiu!

“I can’t!”

“Of course you can, you’re a warrior!”

“I’m a slave.”

“You’re Sarah’s mate, our mate and we need you. We need
the warrior in you, Xiu, to protect Sarah until we arrive with reinforcement to
get you out of there.”

“I…”

“Sarah is your mistress now. You’re obliged to protect
her with your life!”

The vampire’s harsh reminder put Xiu in his place. Ged was
right, the pendant—

“Xiu! Take care! The wizard is aware that you aren’t
unconscious anymore!”

Deborah’s urgency made Xiu snap his eyes open, only to see
the man approaching him with a strange stone in his hand. How had Deborah been
able to contact him?

“You’re pack now,” Duncan chided.

Was his mind now a social club or what? He tried to break
free of his bonds but a newborn had more strength than he had at this moment.
He hated his weakness, his helplessness, the knowledge that people could do
with him whatever they wanted and he could do nothing to stop it.

“How does it feel to be a worthless worm?” The wizard
cackled.

Xiu spat at him.
Well, shouldn’t I already have learned
to control my arrogance?
He watched the hatred flare in the wizard’s eyes.
It didn’t matter anymore. Xiu had nothing else to lose, and as long as the
wizard was distracted making him pay for his insolence, the magician would
leave Sarah and Duncan’s sister alone. That was the reason he was here, to keep
both women safe until the others arrived to free them. He prepared himself for
the pain but the man suddenly stopped, standing motionless for several seconds,
his eyes glazed.

Okay, this won’t be nice. He’s going to use magic.
Xiu gulped. A fist could make you see stars but there was a limit to the pain
it could dish out. Magic was something else altogether. It could make you burn
from the inside out for hours and hours; it could make you feel carnivorous
beetles eating you alive for days; it could create a loop that renewed the
whole torture from the beginning each time you were about to die; and worst of
all, you’d know there was no end to it because the magic would always keep you
alive.

“It would have been nice if you’d waited until I returned to
my body before spitting at this moron,” the wizard complained with a grimace,
rubbing his face clean with his sleeves.

“What?” Xiu gaped at him. What nonsense was the man talking
about?

The wizard rolled his eyes. “It’s me, Sarah!”

“Sarah?”

“Yeah! Do you know someone else who’s able to control other
people’s bodies? Okay, now let’s see how we’re going to recover your strength,”
she said, searching around her.

Xiu blinked. Yes, he could remember her saying she’d used
people to experience her sexual fantasies, although he hadn’t imagined she
could take over their bodies so completely and he’d never imagined her in a
man’s body either.

“Use the stone,” Deborah murmured between clenched teeth
from her corner.

“The stone?” Sarah stared first at Deborah and then to the
stone in her hand, studying it from all angles. “Do you know how it works?”

Deborah nodded with a painful grimace.

“Are you able to use it? Tied as you are right now?” Xiu
asked.

“Xiu, it’s okay. Deborah won’t hurt you.”
Ged’s words
stopped Xiu as he was about to tell Sarah not to give the stone to the other
woman.

“I don’t know her!”

“I know her. She’s Duncan’s sister and now pack and
family to us.”

Xiu clenched his jaw, watching Sarah approach the other
woman. What difference did it make to be pack or family? He’d once had a family
and they’d abandoned him when he’d most needed them!

Get your head out of your ass, Shadow. You can check my
feelings and you can scan hers too. Whatever I’m able to do, you should be able
to do the same. You just need to learn how
,” Gedeon said.

Xiu wasn’t so sure about that.

Stop being a jerk! Ged’s right. Alpha bitches always
have their mate’s ability to communicate and control their pack telepathically
.”
Duncan intervened in their discussion.

Did you just call me a bitch?
” Xiu growled.

Duncan’s open laughter made Xiu feel warm.

That’s something we can discuss later. We’re about to
arrive. Get ready, big boy!
” Duncan advised.

“Yeah, you can tell little Dunc he’s going to pay for his
insolence!”
A shiver ran through Xiu’s body and he knew instantly the
reaction hadn’t come from him. Were they really connected at such an intimate
level that they were even sharing their feelings?

“It’s big Dunc, enormous Dunc, gigantic Dunc to you, but
never ‘little’!”

Ged groaned in their minds. “
Could someone explain why
we’re talking about Duncan’s manhood when we’re about to enter a battle?

We were talking about me? I thought we were talking
about our mate, who’s being a jerk and denies our bond
,” protested Duncan.

“Duncan?”
Xiu asked, suddenly aware that Deborah was
staring at him.

“Yes, babe?”

He ignored Duncan’s sugar-sweet tone.
“Why is your sister
standing in front of me, grinning like a madwoman?

“Awww, shit!”

“What did you do now, Duncan?”
Ged asked, his
thoughts coated with the same suspicion as Xiu’s were.

“I forgot to close the telepathic channel with my pack!”

“So, you’re our new alpha bitch?” The woman crossed her arms
with a wide grin, most of her injuries having already vanished.

Xiu narrowed his eyes with a low growl. He’d had to endure
his owners’ scorn but he wouldn’t accept hers! Not when Duncan’s whole pack was
going to make fun of the alpha’s new mate. He didn’t want Duncan to feel
ashamed because of him.

The woman laughed out loud. “Well, new brother of my heart,
I hope you’re going to put Duncan in his place. But don’t forget it was me who
freed you and gave you back your powers,” she told him, rising on her tiptoes
to give him an unexpected peck and pat on his chest. “Welcome to our crazy
family.”

She winked while he gaped at her, and she used the stone to
restore his strength.

It felt good to be free again, to feel his power rushing
through his veins. When the first battle cries resounded outside, he glanced
over at Sarah. The wizard stood before the feminine body on the floor, staring
motionless at her.

“Sarah?” The wizard raised his head to look forlornly at
him. “Are you okay, honey?”

She answered him with her silence, looking again at her real
body. “How are you going to love me? I’m…I’m…”

“Sarah, baby, everything is okay! You’re going to heal and
recover. You’re my
Centehua
. It doesn’t matter how you look or how much
time you need to heal. I…” He took a deep breath, preparing himself for the
rejection. “I love you!”

She threw herself into his arms. It felt strange to embrace
another man; however, he did it anyway. She hadn’t refused him! He held her
tighter, the relief slowly taking away some of the weight he’d been bearing
since she discovered his slave marks.

The racket outside was coming nearer. He kissed Sarah on the
forehead.

“We need to get prepared. They’re going to come for you,” he
told her, tensing again at the idea.

She nodded. “What should I do?”

“Stay beside your body and try to protect it in case it’s
necessary. As long as you’re in the wizard’s body, you should be fine. Deborah
will stay here in the room with you.”

He stopped to glare at Duncan’s sister when he heard an
outraged cry coming from her direction. He knew immediately the reason. It
wasn’t because she had to stay back to protect her alpha’s mate. Duncan had
been injured! Xiu could sense it! His urge to go to his mate entered into
conflict with his need to protect Sarah.

Don’t! Stay where you are! They were expecting us. Until
we know if there’s a trap, the basement is the safest place for Sarah.

Duncan’s voice sounded exhausted but firm.

“Go to him!”

Xiu glanced at Sarah. Still in the wizard’s body, she wore a
calm expression and her eyes contained a look of determination. She wasn’t
using her power to command him as her slave. He understood, then and there,
that her need was the same as his was. She wanted their mate safe.

“We’ll close the door behind you,” she assured him.

Was he that easy to read?

Deborah positioned herself beside Sarah. “I’ll protect her
with my life,” she promised.

Xiu nodded. “Don’t open the door unless you’re sure it’s me,
Duncan or Ged.” He left the room, preparing himself for the battle ahead.

It was a colossal old mansion. The fight was drawing
dangerously close to the basement cell where Sarah and Deborah waited
unprotected. He’d already gotten rid of some wizards on his way to rescue
Duncan; however, Xiu wanted to return to the women as fast as possible. He
found Duncan on the first floor, barely on his feet, battling between Sam and
Gedeon. Xiu should probably have taken a weapon from one of his fallen
adversaries to fight at their side, but it was usually quite difficult to carry
strange arms on him when he shifted into shadow. He was good with his bare
hands, although he preferred a weapon when everybody else used one, and this
was one of those moments. At least twenty werewolves and vampires were there
and apparently, not all vampires were fighting with their team.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” Duncan hissed. He wore a
painful grimace as he held his side, where a large gash tinted his clothes dark
red. “I told you to stay with Sarah and my sister!”

“Take him out of here! His blood is distracting me,” Ged
growled, not even looking at Xiu.

Xiu tossed Duncan over his shoulder without another word,
ignoring the man’s weak protest. Xiu wouldn’t have minded fighting side by side
with Ged. It was quite obvious the vampire was a seasoned warrior. But Xiu
needed to make certain that Sarah was fine and he had to get Duncan out of
danger. The basement wasn’t exactly what Xiu considered a safe shelter but
until he could take his mates to a better place it was the only choice.
