Catherine cried out a second time and felt a
hot rush fill her.
Heavens, they had forgotten to use the rubber
condoms.
She gained control of her breathing when she felt a
weight against her back. Joey leaned over her. He kissed her neck
and nibbled at her ear.

"Sorry, I..."

He grasped her around the waist and stood them
both upright. His cock was still inside, filling and stretching
her. Joey bent his knees slightly to accommodate the difference in
their heights.

"I want to stay like this. Inside you,
forever."

She reached around and clasped his hips,
pulling him tighter and deeper within her. They were one entity,
seared together, and embroidered as she thought earlier.

"Joey, I also wish to stay like
this."

He rolled his hips suggestively and she could
feel him harden inside her like a sword inside a sheath. At last
she understood the suggestive giggling she heard once at an
assembly about swords and scabbards.

Joey's animal savagery unlocked something deep
and primitive in her soul. It sparked a passion so vast, tenderness
so stark and raw, it moved her to tears. Catherine had the feeling
Joey had never shown another woman this side of himself before. The
trust he placed in her brought a lump to her throat.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what happened. No
rubber, Jesus, what was I thinking?" he said.

Catherine did not want to contemplate the
consequences. She had not thought of it either. She invited him
inside her and she had to admit it was very titillating and
exciting. Apparently there was a shameless wanton living deep
within her. She never would have known if she had not met Joey. The
realization she was not embarrassed or ashamed gave her a sense of
feminine power. So much so that she bent over the table
again.

"Joey, I want more."

He groaned. His breathing was uneven and his
voice deep and dark. "The rubbers..."

"More, Joey."

Catherine moaned as Joey's cock slid deeper
inside her. His hips began the now familiar and powerful rhythm. He
leaned in close to her ear. His breath was hot and sensual and his
words even more so.

"With you, it's never fornicating, or fucking,
or screwing. We make love, Cathy. Love. Remember that."

A choked sob mixed with her whimpers of
desire. He wasn't saying he loved her, surely. She could not think
about his cryptic words now, not when he was so thoroughly
ravishing her.

Catherine did not want to think of
consequences or of time traveling carriages or spilt coffee. She
only wanted to feel Joey's cock inside her. Everything else fell
away. It took a few minutes and she climaxed. A few minutes more
and the splash of his seed filled her once again. The hot rush was
so powerful. It joined them tight. The thread was well knotted now
and Catherine did not think it could ever be broken.

Chapter Twelve

Joey awoke the next morning with Cathy in his
arms. They were naked and lying on their sides. He was erect and
aroused. Cathy’s light rhythmic breathing indicated she still
slept. Joey began to move his hips. She stirred but continued her
soft snores. He reached in under her luscious ass. Joey moaned. She
was wet. He couldn't resist. He laid her leg across his hip and the
head of his prick teased her swollen wetness. With a swift thrust,
he was fully seated inside her.

Cathy gasped and then moaned. "Oh,
Joey."

He began a slow and leisurely pumping of his
hips. They hadn't used condoms at all since yesterday. They were
playing with fire but to him this rubber free union said more than
mere words ever could. They were a couple, solid and connected.
Cathy joined his seductive thrusts and together they came, intense,
but hushed with awe.

Joey lost track of how many times they'd made
love since the wild, table sex. He came so close, more than once,
to laying open his heart and soul to Cathy. The closest he came was
when he mentioned 'making love.' Joey couldn't say the words, 'I
love you'. He had never said those words to anyone in his life. He
didn't know how without sounding like a spazz.

He nuzzled her neck. "Let's head uptown with
the camera and take some pictures, we kind of got sidetracked
yesterday."

Cathy laughed. "Yes, we did, but it was a
wonderful diversion."

An hour later they were in the Old Loyalist
Burial Ground.

A graveyard was a strange place to take
pictures, but it was a memorial park with tree lined walkways and
colorful flower beds. It was a beautiful early autumn day and Joey
had never felt so happy. A cool breeze stirred a few red maple
leaves at his feet. He never owned a camera before. What events in
his life did he experience to take pictures of? There were no
birthday parties, no trips to Mispec Beach for picnics, no
Christmas trees or annoying little brothers or sisters. No new
puppies or a new hockey stick. For the first time in his life he
really wanted these memories. He lifted the Kodak to his eye and
pointed the camera at a laughing Cathy as she stood next to a bed
of multi-colored geraniums.

"What shall I do?" She called out.

"Just smile, babe."

Cathy stood with her hands clasped in front of
her. Her eyes swept upward and she gave Joey a stunning smile. His
heart tumbled in his chest and then he pushed the shutter. Walking
a few steps closer he took another picture. He could use up the
whole roll of film on her, right here, right now. As Cathy moved to
sit on the park bench, his thoughts drifted to McGonagall and the
McKeen situation.

Time was running out. Joey still wasn't sure
how he was going to proceed. His top priority was to protect Cathy.
What would she think of him if he went through with this
cold-blooded murder? The thought twisted his guts. It was one thing
to give some loser a bloody nose, it was quite another to end his
life and over something as cold as money. He shook the morbid
thoughts out of his mind. Nothing was going to spoil this
day.

Cathy affected a sexy pose on the park bench.
Joey laughed and snapped another picture.

She jumped up. "My turn, Joey! I want to take
some pictures of you, will you show me how?"

He stood behind her and placed his arms around
her in a tight embrace and held the camera before her smiling face.
Her nearness affected him again as he was treated to her unique
scent and sexy warmth. His unruly cock stirred to life in his
jeans. He leaned down and whispered in her ear. "Look through the
view finder. Everything you see within that square is what will
show in the picture."

He took her hand and placed her finger on the
shutter release. He seductively stroked her hand and moaned. Cathy
leaned against his chest.

"Oh, Joey," she whispered.

The flame of desire crackled between them. He
never felt this connection with another woman before. He loved her,
cherished her and absolutely adored her. He had it bad.
Reluctantly, he stepped back and stood by a sandstone grave marker.
He flexed his bicep teasingly and Cathy laughed.

"Take my picture, babe!"

Joey's adorable silliness charmed her to the
tips of her toes. Catherine pressed the shutter button as he
instructed. He walked to a nearby elm tree and leaned against it,
his arms and ankles crossed.
Oh heavens, but this man was
astounding!
He looked so relaxed and entirely at ease in his
own skin. And why wouldn't he? The slight breeze ruffled his hair,
his smile warm and breathtaking much like the man himself. She
tried so hard not to become attached to Joey emotionally; it would
make parting all the more arduous to bear.

Catherine raised the camera and looked through
the finder. Next to the elm tree was a large crypt. What drew her
attention was the year of death etched in the stone, 1821. A stark
reminder she did not belong here. She lowered the
camera.

"Cathy, you okay?"

She was not okay. A sharp pain tore through
her heart. This was a sign, a reminder that she had to go home. How
could she leave Joey? He must have seen the misery on her face for
he pulled her into his warm embrace. She laid her head against his
chest; the wool from his sweater tickled her cheek. She would not
cry.

"Babe, it's alright. I know you miss your
family."

He was understanding, kind and loving. Now,
she was close to tears. She snuggled in closer to his protective
hug.

"Tell you what. I'm going to take you to Titus
Bakery on the way home. They have these fantastic molasses cookies
with jam in the middle. We'll get anything else you want; just as
long as I can see you smile again."

A tear escaped her eye and trickled down her
cheek. Catherine looked up at him and gave him a dazzling smile
that spoke of everything she was feeling.
Oh Lord.
So
much for not becoming attached to Joey.

Sitting in King's Square two days later, Joey
and Cathy looked at the photographs he had picked up from the
camera shop. Her beauty shone through the celluloid. Most of the
pictures were of Cathy. Two were of him and a few were of the
uptown area and the Burial Ground.

Cathy grabbed his arm excitedly. "Time is
frozen, a moment captured, to be relived whenever we wish. How
wonderful, Joey!"

She was right. He dismissed any maudlin
thoughts of only having these few photographs as a reminder of
their time together. Joey slipped the photos in his wallet and
placed it in his leather coat pocket so they would not get bent or
damaged. He would take her to the early show at the Paramount.
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was playing. Cathy's excitement
to see a movie on the big screen was infectious.

For the next couple of hours Joey watched
Cathy more than he watched the actual movie. Observing her
reactions and enjoyment to the show gave him more pleasure than the
film itself. She laughed, cried and clapped at the end. Some other
movie patrons even joined her in the enthusiastic applause. Cathy's
face was alight with pure joy. Just before the lights came up, he
leaned over and kissed her tenderly on the lips. She tasted of hot
buttered popcorn with a sultry mixture of sexy woman.
God, he
loved her.
Her joy was his. He sensed her happiness deep into
his very soul.

As they stepped out of the theatre, moviegoers
milled all around them, either heading to their parked cars or
walking down King Street to the pubs and taverns. It was close to
nine o'clock and pitch black out, but the streets were awash in
muted illuminations from street lights and the signs of the many
storefronts that lined the block.

Joey took Cathy's hand and headed toward home.
They had walked uptown instead of taking his bike this time and he
was glad they did. It was windy but the air was fresh and warm, as
if summer and autumn were struggling for command. He stopped in
front of a restaurant. "Do you want something to drink, a hot
chocolate maybe?"

Cathy looked up at the sign. She began to
laugh. "Oh Joey, Napoleon's Restaurant? On Waterloo Street? Very
amusing." The lighted sign swayed in the wind and a stray paper cup
hit Joey's boot as it continued down the street.

Hell
.
How had he never made the
connection before?
He lifted her hand still clasped in his and
kissed it. "Drink?"

Cathy giggled and nodded. Joey pushed the door
open and let Cathy walk in ahead of him. The din of conversation
intermingled with the sounds of dishes clattering out back. The
place was half full, the scent of fried onions and cigarette smoke
hung in the air. They took a booth halfway down the side wall. Joey
ordered a Pepsi and an order of fries. Cathy decided on hot
chocolate. Music played over a cloth-covered speaker just above
their heads.

Joey heard the unmistakable voices of the
Righteous Brothers. 'You're My Soul and Inspiration' warbled out of
the speaker. Its deeply felt lyrics resonated with Joey.
'Without you baby, what good am I?'
He looked across at
Cathy. It was true, without her he was nothing. He was a romantic
fool.

"Joey, are you alright?" Cathy reached across
the table and laid her hand on top of his.

Damn, God knows what his face showed.
His control over hiding his emotions was pretty much smashed the
minute he had brought Catherine Worthington into his life. At this
stage, he didn't even bother to try and mask his feelings. He was
about to speak when the waitress showed up and laid a platter of
golden fries on the table in between them.

The moment passed. He swallowed the lump in
his throat and pulled his hand away and reached for the salt.
Dousing the fries, he set the shaker aside and reached for a couple
with his fingers.

"Careful, they're hot."

Cathy tentatively held a couple by the tips of
her fingers. She brought them to her lips and blew. Joey's cock
twitched in his leather pants. Her sensual and full, puckered lips
closed over the fries and blood rushed to his cock, thickening it,
and hardening it to the point of pain. He couldn't even watch her
eat French fries without getting an erection.
Damn. Don't even
mention bananas.
