Epilogue

Two months later…

Lacy had never been so happy in her entire life. The love she and Ethan shared was extraordinary, the stuff of fairytales. He truly was her Prince Charming in every way that mattered, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

She didn’t even mind when he was being seriously overprotective. After all, they’d had a rough start.

Now, as she sat on the back porch, watching the fireflies dance over the yard, she couldn’t help but smile when Ethan came over to snuggle on the swing.

She leaned in to give him a kiss, and once they pulled apart, she felt Ethan’s hand holding hers as he slid something over her finger.

The
finger.

“I ordered it the day you left the hospital. I wanted it to be perfect, just like you,” he whispered.

Tears gathered in her eyes as Lacy gazed down at the ring on her left hand. The marquis diamond shining back at her was simple, yet elegant, and absolutely perfect.

“Oh, Ethan, thank you.”

“No, thank
you
. I am so incredibly happy to have found you, sweetheart, and I’m never letting you go. You’re stuck with me now,” he said, hugging her close, yet ever mindful of her shoulder.

“Ditto. Until death do us part, Ethan. I wouldn’t have it any other way.” She smiled up at him. “Just three more weeks.”

“Or I could just run away with you to Vegas.”

“Oh, no you don’t! Besides, Sarah, Stephanie and I were hoping to introduce Adam to some girls at the wedding.”

“I wouldn’t dream of it. You deserve your dream wedding, and you’ll have it,” he vowed. “Are you guys playing matchmaker with my brother?”

“Maybe.”

“Well, I hope he ends up as lucky as me. But I don’t think there’s anyone out there who can even compare to you.”

How could she not fall totally in love with this man?

“And I know I got the pick of the litter, so to speak.” Lacy laughed when Ethan groaned. “How about you take me to bed, Mr. Wolfman, and see if you can make
me
howl?”

“Oh, I do like a challenge,” Ethan growled, his eyes flashing silver in the darkness.

He leaned forward and swept her up in his arms before heading into the house.

Yup, a girl could certainly get used to this.

About the Author

Hello, all! I am a mother of two and am happily married to my high school sweetheart. I work full-time in the medical field and spend my down time with family and friends, reading or, (of course) writing. I am currently writing paranormal romance and hope to branch out to Contemporary soon… The paranormal element allows me to give reality a new depth by integrating paranormal creatures into my everyday world. I mean, come on, who wouldn't want a little excitement added into their everyday life? The Southern/Gulf Coast culture that I have grown up in plays a big part in my writing, forming not only the cultural traits of the characters, but also the ambiance of the geography in many of my stories. I am new to the writing world, and who knows where it will take me? But I'm having fun nevertheless, and if people enjoy reading my work, then it's all been worth it. HAPPY READING!!

To Tame His Mate
(Wolfe Brothers Book One) by Serena Pettus

Sarah has spent the last six years running from some pretty determined wolves. A born Alpha, and a fierce fighter, she has managed to thwart the best efforts of the neighboring packs in their attempts to force a mating with their current Alphas. She is determined to live her life the way she wants—free—and has fought her way to freedom more times than she should have had to. All she’s ever wanted was the chance to find her one true mate and settle down outside of the hierarchy bullshit of Pack life. If that means she has to do so by staying one step ahead of her pursuers, until she finds that man, then that’s just what she’ll do. The only problem now is that her years of running have forced her to trust no one… until she meets Erik.

Erik is a lone wolf himself, but offers his help when an injury befalls the lovely she-wolf he discovers on his property. Attraction sparks and he soon realizes—much to his own surprise—that she is his destined mate.

Shortly after deciding to give the whole thing a trial run, their mutual attraction overwhelms them, but danger is still stalking her, and Erik is determined to find a way to keep her safe.

Now, can Erik convince Sarah that they belong together and tame her wilder side enough to claim her as his own?
