“Boo?” Treat whispered and finally got her
eyes open. “Where is Buddy?”

“That man took him right when we got here,”
Boo whispered.

“What about Trixie?” she asked.

“She is here too, they were arguing a few
minutes ago, about you. She wants to kill you, and he said not
yet,” Boo whispered.

“Well at least I am not voted off the island
quite yet,” she moaned and turned, struggling to sit up and trying
to get past the pain. Damn, being shot seriously fucking hurt. She
had never been shot before.

“Easy,” Boo whispered and then helped her
shuffle until she was upright against a wall. Her arm uselessly
hanging at her side. She looked down, yeah, it wasn’t too pretty.
The bloodstains were all the way down her shirt and it was ripped
and showed the jagged hole in her arm. Wow, looked nothing like the
movies. Bullet holes weren’t pretty. She fought the urge to
giggle.

“Yeah,” Treat said. “Are you okay? How long
was I out for?”

“I’m alright. You’ve been out a few hours at
least,” Boo said and leaned back as well, resting. “Trixie came to
the house, said that Free and Bic were taking Buddy for the day so
I could take care of Jilly. She had a bad night, so I didn’t think
about it. She told me to grab Buddy and his diaper bag. I did and
when I went to the car to put him into a seat, she told me to get
in. Said if I fought her she would kill Buddy right then. So I did,
poor Buddy, he was tired so he fell back to sleep until she fired
the gun, scared the crap out of him. Cried for like a while, but
now he is quiet. I am worried about him. Neither of them seemed to
care. I know who she is, I heard Bic and the others talking about
Trick a while ago?”

“My phone?” she asked.

Boo shook her head. “Trixie took it when she
shot you. I don’t have mine either, I left it on the counter.”

“Okay then, we need to figure out where we
are,” Treat said.

“That is easy,” Boo laughed. “Not that it
will help us too much. We are on the other side of the compound.
The bitch totally drove around for a while before she pulled in
front of this building, but I know exactly where we are. Two
streets over from the front of the gate.”

Hope blossomed, only two blocks? Surely they
will have found Lane’s hidey-hole. Fuck, they probably thought Lane
had taken them miles away instead of in their own backyard. They
owned these buildings, didn’t they have security? Shit, she
couldn’t think, everything hurt, she needed to focus, dammit, she
wouldn’t do any good if she wasn’t focused. They had her nephew,
and there was no way she was going to tell Jilly she had lost him.
Her sister had been through too much, and she would be damned if
she was the reason she went through more. Because this time, if she
let this fucker win, it would be her fault. She needed to be in
control.

She looked around, solid concrete walls, no
windows, one door. Yeah, they needed to get out of the room so they
could escape; the door was probably locked so that meant they had
to wait until someone came in. She looked at Boo, the woman fit her
name, she was tiny, like pocket size tiny, Treat had never actually
looked closely at the woman. She had to shop in the kid’s section
of the stores. They called her Boo ‘cause she looked like some cute
character in a kid’s movie apparently. One of the club’s kids
called her that when they saw her. Treat remembered that story. She
had shoulder length black hair, a round face, but huge frickin’
eyes. Hell, she wasn’t going to be much help.

Treat grimaced as she moved. “We need to get
them to come in here so we can see out a little. Need to know what
we are dealing with here.”

“But…” Boo said, biting her lip.

“We can’t wait, the longer we do the more
plans Lane is making to get us out of here. Not gonna work so we
need to get out before he decides to move us,” Treat said.

Boo nodded, “Okay.”

“Help me up,” Treat gritted out as she pushed
her back against the wall.

There was no Shady to back her up, no Bic.
Treat was on her own and she was going to deal with this. Shit, she
was a biker bitch, she had been wanting this for a long time, to
feel like she had belonged, and finally it was in her reach and
these fucks were going to take it away? Um no, they were not.

“I told you,” the little man wheezed after
Stone hit him for a second time in the stomach. “I don’t know where
he is. He just asked for a few things around town.”

“What did he ask for?” War snapped.

The others were standing by their bikes
looking bored. They had finally tracked down the idiot who was
Lane’s bookie. The man was a weasel but he also knew his clients.
If they could pay or not pay, whatever. He wasn’t stupid.

“He was looking for an empty building down by
the shore. One that didn’t have squatters in it, and one that
wasn’t on the cops’ radar. You know, a lot of drugs pass through
there,” the man whined.

“What did he find?” War snapped.

“Hell, I don’t know, just know he was
looking. Also know he is planning on getting out of town, called a
few of the guys already up north. They are gonna set him up, he
promised them a bunch of scratch in order to get help in place.
Something about a chick having a lot of money. He promised everyone
something. Fuck still owes me money, if I knew where he was I would
be there getting my dough,” the man said.

Bob stepped forward and said, “Treat having a
lot of money?”

War and Stone looked over their shoulders and
shrugged. Both men looked back at the little man and then said,
“Who are his contacts?”

“Man, I don’t know,” the guy whined.

War and Stone let him go and walked back to
the group. Kink shifted on his bike and said, “Our warehouses
across from the compound. That’s where he is hiding. Didn’t have a
chance before all the shit went down to check them out. Perfect
place to hide, right under our noses.”

“Let’s go,” Stone said just as his phone
rang, so he looked at the screen and answered while everyone paused
waiting for him to speak to whoever had called.

“Explain later, Stone, we have to find our
woman,” War yelled while he listened to Stone telling whoever was
on the phone what was going on.

War couldn’t believe this was happening, what
the hell? After all this time, the son-of-a-bitch was on their
property somewhere. Stone was filling them in on what information
had been dug up by Data and Boony on Chet and that mess. While
Stone was on the call, War had gotten the text that set everything
in motion. When Stone hung up the phone, he didn’t miss a beat.

“We split up into pairs, take the buildings
one by one. Nothing is left unsearched.”

Chapter
Seventeen

Treat grinned at Trixie and Lane, yeah she
had gotten outta the room, and Boo had gotten put in with Buddy,
that was good, at least her nephew and Boo were together. Someone
was actually looking after him while she planned.

Of course, that didn’t mean being tied to a
chair in the middle of the huge empty warehouse with two completely
wacked out people was conducive to planning. She was looking around
at the doors while trying to ignore the fact they were arguing
about killing her.

“You said I could deal with her,” Trixie
yelled.

“Yeah, and you can, just not kill her. I need
her alive for now. We leave in a half an hour so get to it, I am
getting out of here,” Lane snapped.

“That wasn’t part of the deal,” Trixie
argued.

“It is now,” Lane said and looked at Treat
with a grin. “Been waiting a long time to introduce myself to
you.”

“Oh really?” Treat laughed. “How about you
untie my hands so I can shake yours all proper like.”

Lane laughed loudly. “Yeah, funny. Now, we
gotta get down to business. I made a deal with this lady so I have
to follow through. But when she is done, then you and I are going
to get real acquainted.”

“Looking forward to that, Lane. Treat
muttered and looked at Trixie who had folded her arms over her
chest. “Well, get on with it, say what you are gonna say and do
what you are gonna do. But before you start, I gotta tell you.
Nothing you do to me is ever going to take away the happiness I
felt when your whore of a sister died. She was a treacherous bitch
who deserved more than what she got.”

The woman didn’t say anything, but she
screamed in anger and began hitting Treat. With each punch, she
wanted to laughed, because the roar of cycles could be heard from
the distance. They were coming for her.

Bob and Nike heard the scream and they ran.
The guys followed quickly. When they reached the door, Stone pushed
them to the side and kicked the door hard. They heard the crack of
wood coming apart and the yell from inside the building. It had to
be Lane, he was screaming at someone to get down.

Stone kicked one more time and the door burst
open. They ran into the room and stopped to take in the sight.
Treat was bleeding from like everywhere it appeared. Her face
already swollen and red, nose obviously broken, and shoulder dipped
at a weird angle. But she was standing, albeit tied to a broken
chair with a woman’s neck under her boot and a man pointing a gun
at her, but they didn’t have a clear shot.

“Do not move,” Lane snapped and Treat
growled.

“Really? That is what you are gonna say?
Do not move
? Fuck you, idiot, you have five badass bikers
who just busted into the room, with two stone cold bitches that are
now pointing their guns at you. And they can shoot, I have seen
them, you are a dead man walking right now,” Treat said.

“No I’m not, they won’t chance you being
killed,” Lane snapped and moved closer to her.

“Pussy,” Treat snapped.

“Babe,” Stone said calmly. “Try not to piss
off the dude with the gun until we kill him, huh?”

“Shut up,” Lane yelled. “This is all your
fault, all of it. It was supposed to be so easy, and then you had
to stick your nose in. Nothing has worked out the way it was
supposed to, that whore is still alive. This stupid bitch was
supposed to kill her but we were pressed for time. Had to do it now
or we would miss the opportunity to get out of town, fuckers wanted
their money.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Treat snapped. “Fix my broken
wing, we all feel so sorry for you. Wow, you missed your
opportunity to kill the mother of your child after she took care of
your sorry ass for years. Now you are gonna miss the chance to use
me for money. Yeah, boo hoo, I am so sorry for you.”

“Babe,” War said in a warning voice.

“What?” Treat snapped. “You know what I’m
saying is true. The fucker is a psycho, and this one,” she said as
she put more pressure on Trixie’s neck. “This one thinks she can
come after the Lady Riders because we extinguished a necessary evil
from this world.”

Nike called out, “Treat, what are you talking
about?”

“Oh you guys are gonna love this shit.” Treat
laughed and Lane looked wildly around, trying to figure out how to
get out of the building without getting killed. Both of the guys
could see his desperation growing.

While Treat was talking, they moved a small
inch at a time, Kink, Rave, Joker, all of them, spreading out,
trying to get a clear shot. Damn, seriously was not totally dumb,
Treat was blocking his body.

“This bitch,” Treat said, “is Trick’s sister,
no shit. She has been in the club for a year to get a shot at me,
or Shady I am assuming. Whore, couldn’t just come at us, hell no,
she had to play this game with one of the brothers to get in.”

“Bullshit,” Bob snapped. “Trick didn’t have a
sister.”

“Yeah,” Treat laughed hollowly. “That is what
I thought too, apparently her level of lying knew no bounds.
According to this bitch, nothing she ever told us was true.”

“Shut up,” Lane snapped. “It doesn’t matter
anymore.”
