Chapter 14

Saki thought about Lane every at school. She rushed home and then practically ran to the Humane Society. Lane was there as usual, and when he saw her, a large smile crept across his face. Neither of them said much, but working through their chores, they couldn’t think about anything else.

“Are you going to stay?” Lane asked, trying to contain his anticipation.

“Actually I’m going to leave, take a shower, and then come back,” she confirmed, lightly touching his hand.

“Oh, okay. Yeah. Maybe about 8:30? We’ll have the place to ourselves.”

“Yeah, sounds good,” she said getting close enough to kiss him but not. Saki‘s hand brushed the front of his shorts, and she felt his thick, hard cock pushing back. She wanted to grab it right there. Instead, she touched his hand one more time and left.

Saki came home early enough to shower and have dinner with her family. As usual, nothing was said. Afterwards, everyone retreated to their rooms, which was fine with Saki. She preferred to not have to make up an excuse to leave. Waiting for the slow-moving clock to reach 8:15, she could barely contain her lust. She wanted to touch herself. She wanted to feel any sort of warmth and pressure between her legs, but she restrained herself.

Once the time had arrived, she was more than ready to go. Slowly turning down the volume of the television before switching it off, she was no one would hear. When she slipped out the front, she gently closed the door behind her, being sure not to lock it or let it slam.

“Saki,” she heard a familiar voice say as she walked toward the front gate. Turning toward the sound, she was immediately filled with terror.

“Don’t be scared. I’m not going to hurt you.”

Saki had never expected to see Dax again. He hadn’t returned to school, and both she and Lane had decided that he was permanently living on the island. That was fine with Saki.

Yet, here he was, wearing shorts and some sort of backpack pouch over his stomach. Saki took a good look at him. He was just as she remembered from the last time she saw him; gorgeous, hairless, and barefoot.

“I just want to talk to you. Can we talk? I’m not mad at what you did. You didn’t know any better. It was my fault.”

Saki never imagined this apologetic Dax. In her mind he was a monster. In fact, he was the monster that had turned her into one. She was furious at him, but even so, something drew her to him.

“How could you do that to me?” she asked in a near whisper.

“I know. I’m sorry. You weren’t supposed to be the one. I liked you. I still do. But I can’t change what happened. I need you to forgive me.”

“If I say that I do, will you leave us alone?”

Dax‘s demeanor changed. He was suddenly less consolatory. “You’re talking about Lane and his wolves, aren’t you?”

Again seeing the boy she had met on the island, she got nervous and backed off. “Just leave us alone.”

“Do you know where you’re gonna change? Are you getting one of those rent-a-cages? Is that really what you want from now on, being trapped in a cage when all you want to do is run? You can come to the island with me. It’s my island. You could stay there and never leave. You could be my queen.”

“Just go away. Please go away,” she said with resolve.

Dax paused, standing upright. “Turning in a cage is no way to live. It’s like being set on fire, only the fire never gets put out and you don’t die. You’re going to wish you were dead. You’re going to wish that you said yes to me. And then you’re going to realize that it’s too late.”

Dax stepped back behind the edge of the house. Saki didn’t know what to say. And when her defiance returned, she stepped toward him to let him know how wrong he was. Standing at the edge of her yard, she looked into the darkness and saw Dax was naked with the backpack pouch still tightly wrapped around his chest. Turning to look at her, he caught her attention and then shifted into a wolf.

Saki into his blue eyes that shone in the darkness. When the wolf took a step toward her, she backed up, but then it quickly turned, cleared the fence in one leap, and ran into the trees behind her backyard.

Saki stood paralyzed for a moment. It took only a second to decide that Lane needed to know what happened.

Returning to her path, her mind filled with what Dax wanted. Did he really just come back for her? What would it mean to become his queen? She couldn’t deny she was drawn to him. But being with Dax meant that she couldn’t be with Lane, who she trusted. Lane was the one she loved.

Saki arrived at the humane society’s front door to find a note. The message from Lane said,
Come in and follow the petals.

Saki opened the door and stepped inside. A lump immediately formed in her throat. Lines of flowers and leaves were creating a path through. Forming a circle in front of the door, the path led down the hallway toward his bedroom.

Every other light in the building was turned off, but teacup candles were interspersed with the foliage, throwing shadows of the flowers on the walls. No one had ever done anything like this for her before. She was so aroused that she was close to tears.

Following the path down the hallway, she couldn’t wait to discover what else she’d find. As she approached, she heard music coming from his room. She didn’t know who was singing, but it sounded like one of those soul singers from the ‘50s. She could imagine it being someone like Ella Fitzgerald, although Saki wasn’t sure what Ella Fitzgerald sounded like.

Saki pushed open his door in time to see Lane light the last of his candles. The room was beautiful. More petals were on the floor, and the mood set by the dancing flames and music made her heart soar.

For a brief moment, she saw his face in profile. He was the most gorgeous boy she had ever seen. That he had done all this for her simply made her chest hurt. He didn’t need to say another word. She was now his.

Lane turned to her, and their eyes met. Dressed in a collared shirt and dress slacks, he stood before her. Saki walked toward him, threw her arms around his neck and reached up to kiss him. The warmth of his body encompassed her. His smell tantalized her. And the gentle waves his body made in rhythm with the music seduced her.

Lane’s tongue was warm and strong. It teased hers, pulling at it, twirling around it and then dancing in a gentle exchange much like their bodies did to the music. Saki didn’t need much more foreplay, though, so never leaving his lips, she let go of his neck and began to unbutton his shirt.

Saki rubbed her soft hands against the exposed skin of his hard body. Short hairs brushed back and forth under her fingertips. She cupped the curvature of his chest muscles in her hand. Sliding her hand down his side, she felt the soft ripples that could only be felt on a beautifully built man.

Saki pulled the shirt off, letting it drop to the ground. She let him do the same to her. In moments, their bare chests were touching each other.

Saki next unbutton his pants feeling the long, hard protuberance through the thin cloth. Releasing it, the pants fell, leaving only his black underwear. Still kissing him, she stroked the large, clothed shaft. It flinched under her touch. She let go and grabbed his ass cheeks, pushing his cock against her body. She wanted him inside of her, and she wanted him to know.

Lane spun Saki around, positioning her to fall into the bed. Taking action, he removed her pants and then her panties before grabbing his cock. Easing her knees into the air, he inserted his torso between them, allowing the side of his flat stomach to press her thighs into her chest.

Saki closed her eyes, waiting for only one thing. When her yearning pussy felt the head of Lane‘s cock, she gripped the sheets, bracing herself for what would come next.

The feeling of his large instrument pulled her strings in the best way imaginable. His length had no limit. Every time she thought he was all the way in, he pushed in farther. Each moment, she thought she had been stretched to her limit, but he inserted farther, giving her thrills that both stunned and delighted her. He was the definition of a man, she thought. She wanted him to do everything a man did to her.

“More,” she begged.

Lane pulled the length of his cock out and pushed it back in. Saki‘s arms extended out hitting the wall on one side and the ground on the other. Her breath was ragged. She attempted to again ask for more, but her voice hitched. As he slowly thrust inside of her, she became emotional.

Saki threw her arms around Lane pulling him as close as he could get. With him pushing in and pulling out, she could barely contain herself. Lane was beginning to breathe hard, and his strong chest pressed against hers, jiggling her body with the rhythm of his heartbeat.

The jittery feeling that she had had the night before was returning. The inside of her legs, her feet, her ass, and even her lower back tingled. The feeling of him inside of her began to hurt. She didn’t want him to stop, though—it hurt in a good way. It hurt like something was coming, and it felt great.

“Yes. Yes!” She moaned, now gripping into his flesh.

Every part of him was hard. He was all muscle. Thinking about who was inside of her, a floodgate opened within her, bringing with it a scream.

“Ohhhh ahhhhh!”

Lane‘s response was just as powerful. He let go inside of her, and every muscle in his body tensed.

“Yeeaahh!” He groaned holding her tightly. “Yeah,” he repeated, his body slowly relaxing onto hers.

Both lay in each other’s arms, waiting for their young bodies to stop twitching. When both seemed to calm down, Lane pulled out his still hard cock. Saki held onto him, squeezing his side to slow down. When Lane was all the way out, they shifted positions so that Lane could spoon Saki. Comfortable, both lay in blissful contentment, listening to the last of the beautiful music.

Minutes passed before Saki‘s voice entered the silence. “Lane, can I ask you something?”

“Sure,” he said in a warm tone.

“Why do you like me?”

Lane thought for a while before answering. “You smell so good.”

“Is that it though? If I didn’t smell like this, do you think you would still like me?”

Lane thought for a moment. “I don’t know. If I didn’t have a head, would you still like me?”

“Would you still have those abs?” She asked playfully.

Lane returned to her question. “I don’t know if I would’ve gotten to know you if you weren’t a Lycan as well. But now that I have, you’re so funny and smart. You’re the smartest person I know. And what makes it all better is, you smell so good. I could just smell you all day.”

Lane buried his nose into her neck and took a deep sniff, intentionally tickling her. She giggled in response.

“Okay, you pass. Now, can I ask you another question?”

“What’s that?”

“How did your father die?”

Saki laid still searching for any reaction from Lane. Staring across the room at the closet, she wondered if she had made a mistake by asking him. She took a breath, preparing to retract her question, when Lane finally spoke.

“It was about two years ago, spring break. Me, Dax, Scully, and two of Dax‘s boys were on Cable Beach. We were down at the end where the road bends near that expensive hotel, and we were just hanging out. But Dax saw this really hot girl and started saying something to her, like, ‘Why don’t you come over here and try a little island flavor,’ or something like that. Her boyfriend wasn’t with her, but he heard Dax and got mad.

“The boyfriend started saying something to Dax, so we had to get his back. But Dax wouldn’t let the dude back off. He pushed him. And even though there was like five of us and one of him, he came back at us. And we couldn’t let that go so we come back at him. We roughed him up a little bit and then the security guard came and we ran. After that we headed down to the Fish Fry.

We hung out there for a while, and then we separated. After a while, I wanted to go home, so I went looking for Dax. His car and his boys were gone. I’m with Scully, and we both decide to walk home. I was just up the road from the Fish Fry, up near the gas station, you know. It’s that townhouse across the street with the tennis court in front.”

Saki, listening very intently, acknowledged it with, “Yeah.”

“So I’m close, but Scully‘s way on the other side of town. So he’s pissed because it’s like 30 minutes for him, but I’m like 10 minutes away. And it’s real late at this point, so there aren’t many people on the street. But I’m walking down on the bush side, and I think I feel something coming behind me. I look back, and this huge animal is running at me as fast as it can. I’m, like, stunned. I don’t know what it is, so I’m backing up, trying to figure out what to do. But it’s fast, and this thing jumps from about 20 feet and lands on me.

I’m fighting to get off, but it’s not moving. It’s heavy and strong, and it’s scratching at me and biting me. And as soon as the first car drives by, it just turns and leaps into the bush.”

“Oh my God. Was it a wolf?”

“I didn’t know what it was because I had never seen anything like it before. And I’m hurting all over, but I’m so close to home that I get up and keep going. When I get there, my dad called my uncle. He comes over and examines me, but he can’t figure out what it was either. He gives me a shot and tells me I should be fine.”

“You turned.”

“I didn’t know what I was. And when the full moon came I wasn’t feeling well, so I stayed home that night. My dad, though, he went out drinking every night. And when he would come back, he would be drunk, and we would get into it. But he was bigger than me, you know. I was 16, and he was bigger than I am now. And when he would hit me, I wouldn’t know where I was afterwards. But that was him, you know.

“And the night I turned, he was out drinking. I just remember flashes because it was my first turn, but I remember him coming home drunk and me feeling so angry. And you know how the wolf is. It’s all instinct. I was so angry at him all the time, so the wolf…

“The next morning I woke up, and there was blood everywhere. I didn’t know what had happened. I’m naked on the floor, and beside me in shreds was my dad. I didn’t know what to do. I called my uncle again, and he came over. He was so calm. He took care of everything. He told the police that we had adopted a dog that went crazy in the night and how I had to lock myself in my dad’s room even though I heard the screaming. He took care of everything.”
