Jessie Daniels put a lead foot down on the accelerator of
her old Civic, and watched the city lights fade in her rearview. She was having
a terrible night. The least she could do was get home to a hot bath and a
bottle of wine.

By herself.

Again.

The worst part was that she looked incredible, and she had
been determined to get laid tonight. She
knew
she looked incredible because she’d spent hours selecting the right
slutty costume, doing her make up, changing her shoes, adjusting her cleavage.
She knew she was a knock out when she left the house, and she was probably
still a knock out now, even if she was pissed off.

And none of it mattered.

Travis was supposed to be a sure thing, if not the best
thing. But still better than nothing. And by the time she got to the party,
posed perfectly in front of the door in her skimpy nurse uniform, stethoscope
at the ready, his stoner roommate had to answer the door because he was already
throwing up in the bathroom while the party raged around him. A Halloween party
full of Travis’ loser friends. Even in the state she was, Jessie wouldn’t stoop
that low. So here she was, on the road, going home to her empty apartment.

And horny as hell. Dammit, she thought, and pushed down on
the accelerator a little more. The thought of her vibrator just depressed her.
It had been too long since she’d had a real, live, fuck, and it was getting to
seem unfair. Like she was cursed, or something. She shifted in her seat, almost
overflowing with sex, and with no one around to appreciate it. Please, she
thought to the universe, just this once, can I have a man just show up out of
nowhere? I don’t care if he falls out of the sky. I’ll give him right back. I
just want him tonight.

That’s about when she saw the lights flashing in her
rearview mirror.

That’ll teach me, she thought to herself, and sighed. She
eyed her glove box, which was already stuffed full of tickets she’d always
meant to deal with “later.” She would be lucky if she didn’t get arrested.

Or maybe I’ll be lucky if I do, Jessie thought to herself,
and grinned. She shook her head, trying to banish those naughty thoughts. She
really couldn’t afford any more tickets, and she definitely couldn’t afford to
piss of any cops. She had to get a hold of herself.

Still, she couldn’t help smiling as she pulled over to the
side of the highway, which she knew, objectively speaking, was insane. This
isn’t a movie, she told herself. Watch, he’ll probably be fat, and old, and
when he leans over my window it’ll be exceedingly gross to see him checking out
my boobs. She studied her rearview mirror again to confirm her suspicions.

The man who got out of the squad car was definitely not fat.
She felt her stomach curl in knots, and told herself to calm down. She couldn’t
even see properly, she told herself. So what if the silhouette walking towards
her was tall, and broad, and had a great, confident stride.

Deep breaths, Jessie, she thought. Deep breaths.

She was still trying in vain to get to her special place
when she was startled by the knock on the window. A powerful flashlight
illuminated the inside of her car. She squinted into it, and rolled down her
window. She couldn’t see a damn thing.

“Can you turn your overhead light on, ma’am?”

Jesus, that voice. She suppressed a giggle, and tried to be
serious. This
was
serious.

“I’m sorry, officer, but it doesn’t work.” There was a
silence. She squeezed her hands on the steering wheel. “I’m really sorry.”

“That’s all right ma’am,” he said finally. She couldn’t be
sure, but the flashlight seemed mostly focused on her boobs. Probably not on
purpose, she knew, but she found herself sticking them out as far as she could
anyway. She actually felt her nipples go hard against her skimpy costume. She
was sure he could see, and the thought turned her on. Christ, what was wrong
with her? She hadn’t a drop to drink, and felt…drunk.

He lowered the flashlight beam a little, and she could see
him now, lit from below. And what a sight it was. Clean shaven, dark hair, dark
eyes, gruff buzz cut. And built. God, was he built. He even had muscles in his
neck. How does that happen? She wondered. Are there neck exercises?

“Ma’am, do you know why I pulled you over?”

“I know why I hope you pulled me over.” She said under her
breath, and then immediately thought: oh,
fuck
.

“Ma’am?”

This time she couldn’t keep from giggling. This was too
ridiculous.

“Nothing, officer. I’m sorry.” She looked up, and saw his
jaw flex, and had to turn away to try to stifle another nervous giggle. “Sorry.
Um, no. I don’t know why you pulled me over, sir. I really am sorry.”

Really? She had to get the giggles now? Of all times?

The officer seemed to be studying her.

“Have you had a good night, ma’am?” He said calmly.

Jessie felt as though she were watching herself from far
away, in a sort of horror, as she said, “I’ve had a frustrating night, officer.”

She was pretty sure she even batted her eyelashes. There was
a pause, as though something she’d grown accustomed to had momentarily stopped.
The officer’s breathing, for example. Or maybe her own.

“Is that so?” He finally said.

“Yes.” She breathed. Maybe she was possessed by Marilyn
Monroe or something. That would make about as much sense as anything else. She
couldn’t help herself from trying to get a good look at this man in her window.
She could smell his aftershave, which was the cheap kind, but it melded well
with his natural scent. Almost spicy, in a really delicious way. And she could
see his hands, big and rough looking. And that voice…

“Can I see your license and registration, please?”

“Sure. It’s in the glove compartment.” She said, and reached
across to the passenger side. And then, again with a vague sense of horror, she
looked over her shoulder and heard herself say, “Is that all you want to see,
sir?”

Holy crap, Jess, she thought to herself.
What
are you
doing
?

To make it worse, she was sure she heard him chuckle. Just a
little.

“Just give me your license and registration, ma’am.”

She fumbled with the glove compartment, and though she
struggled valiantly, a few tickets fell out, along with one of her sister’s
troll dolls from 1995 and a McDonald’s fries container. Right. Perfect.

She handed over her license and registration, and tried to
think of the least sexy things she could. None of it worked. And you know what,
she thought suddenly, why should it have to? Can’t I do something crazy once in
a while? What’s the big deal? This nurse’s uniform shouldn’t be wasted.

Jessie took a deep breath, and embraced her wild side.

“Is there anything else you want, officer?” She asked, as
coquettishly as she could.

There was a silence.

Oh, shit, Jessie thought. I’ve gone too far. I’m gonna get
arrested. I’ve ruined my life. Over what? Not getting laid in a few months? Her
mind raced while the silence stretched between them.

“Get out of the car.” He finally said.

Jessie’s heart pounded in her chest. She didn’t know what to
think. She was excited, that much was obvious. She’d basically given up hope of
being discreet. It was probably only sheer willpower that kept her nipples from
cutting straight through her cheap nurse’s costume, and her panties felt soaked
through. And part of her was hopeful, in a weird way, but mostly she was
scared. She definitely wasn’t acting like a normal person, and from what she
knew from television, cops tended to see that as a threat. Or at least an
annoyance. As she stepped out of her car, she felt her pussy lips slide
together, slick with moisture.

She stood as demurely as she could at the side of her
vehicle as he stepped back. She couldn’t help but think…no. That didn’t happen,
not in real life. He shined the flashlight beam on her face, and she
instinctively shielded her eyes. Suddenly the beam was gone, but she knew he
was standing close. She could smell him again.

This didn’t seem like a normal traffic stop anymore.

For a brief moment, she allowed herself to hope.

“Do you consent to a breathalyzer?” He said.

Aw, come on, she thought. Really?

“I’m not drunk.” She said, suddenly infuriated. Like that’s
the only reason she would flirt. Like only drunken sluts felt like having one
night stands. Well, ok, a roadside stand, in this particular instance, but that
didn’t mean she was inebriated. His voice, and his smell, and his body were all
still sexy as hell, but it was a goddamn breathalyzer. “Fine.”

The breathalyzer was cold to the touch. She put her lips
around it and blew.

“You’re clean.” He said. He sounded like he was smiling. She
risked looking up at his shadowy form, barely lit from the headlights of his
squad car, and felt her breath quicken again.

“Told you I wasn’t drunk,” she whispered. There was a pause,
and then Jessie thought, oh, fuck it, I’ll only be young once, and I’m damn
sure there’s only one cop like this.

“I can give consent.” She said.

This time she heard his intake of breath, sharp and sudden.
Now he was the one struggling for control. She could feel his glare in the
dark. This little encouragement was all she needed. She could feel the heat
coming off of her skin, and she was sure he could too, and now she was
determined to push him over the edge.

Quelling the last bits of fear and sanity in her mind, and
riding the tight desire she felt coiling itself around her stomach – God,
maybe I am drunk, she thought, or just overwhelmed by hormones – she
finally looked up, into that dark, hard, shadowy face, and said, “But I
understand if you need to frisk me.”

And she turned around, put her hands on the hood of her car,
and spread her legs ever so slightly. She looked over her shoulder, and bit her
lower lip.

And he said nothing.

Just…silent.

With every passing moment, Jessie’s position became more
excruciating. It was humiliating. She’d basically just pantomimed “fuck me,”
and nothing. Just silence. She looked at the hood of her car in fury, and felt
her face go red with anger, and had just begun to pick her hands up and turn
around when he spoke.

“Keep your hands on the vehicle!” He barked.

Her mind went blank. She planted her hands down hard, and
sucked her breath in with a gasp.

Nothing moved for a moment. She began to wonder how long
she’d have to wait when something caught her eye – it was him, reflected
in her windshield. He’d moved closer, standing right behind her. She’d swear
she could feel the heat from him on her ass. Fuck, he can probably feel the
heat from
me
, she thought. She was so
wet, and beginning to tingle all over. She had pins and needles, just looking
at his shadowy reflection, watching her face in the windshield.

He didn’t appear to move at all, when suddenly she could
feel his hand slide between her legs. His fingers rested between her thighs,
while his thumb toyed with the hem of her very short dress.

For a moment, they were both motionless. And then, almost
without meaning to, she tilted her ass towards him just a little bit more. It
was enough. He slid his fingers up and down along the length of her thighs in
short little strokes, like he was actually checking for tiny little weapons.
She sighed, and he laughed.
