Pierre was still naked, his taught muscular frame (he wasn’t well built, just enough, not quite a six pack, but lean, toned, without the gym membership) lay down beside Blue in her huge bed. Draped in Egyptian cotton sheets her bed was luxuriously comfortable. He pushed her back into the folds of cloth, kissing her neck, working his way up to her mouth. She reacted to his touch with light moans and gasps barely audible. Stroking her hair from her eyes, kissing her ear lobes and her face, brushing his nose against her skin between kisses, he licked his lips as he was about to kiss hers. Moving in to her, stroking her body, biting her neck tenderly, pulling her toward him on the bed, pulling her on top. She followed his lead, let him be the one in charge, this was new to Blue, she was always the one in charge. They rhythmically moved with one another, reaching ecstasy, orgasm after orgasm, until they were exhausted.

After the extremely good sex, they fed each other the breakfast he’d prepared his Mistress earlier. Fruit and pastries, laughing, cuddling, smiling, and looking into each other’s eyes, feeling like soul mates. They felt comfortable with one another and in that moment, those few precious minutes they both let their guard down.

Pierre coaxed Blue into the shower, he lead her by her hands. They stood under the flowing water, letting it pour over them, water running down their naked bodies, they watched each other carefully as they caressed each other. Washing each other intimately, soapy, hot, steamy, they fucked again in the shower. Blue giving herself to him, he kissed her neck as he pressed himself into her. She arched her back beneath him, the pleasure rippling over her, she moaned loudly in the shower, sounds of pleasure she couldn't hold back. He massaged her intimately, gently rubbing again and again, taking her to climax. Her breast in his other hand, still kissing her neck, her hands holding onto the shower wall, holding onto sanity. She orgasmed over and over again, shuddering beneath him, she was loud, Pierre was turned on even more, they both orgasmed together. He held her, under the water raining upon them, washing away the sweat and sex. He turned her around, kissing her on the mouth, he wrapped his arms around her and held her for an eternity. He shampooed her hair, conditioned it, gave her kisses and kisses. He then led her from the shower, wrapped her in a big fluffy towel and held her close, she was warm, much warmer than him, he held her until she was drier.

They lay on her bed, wrapped around each other and they both fell asleep.

Blue was to meet the girls later for lunch, so she had to get up and get herself dressed, she had to practically rip herself from the bed because she felt like she could have stayed there forever. She left Pierre naked on her huge bed in her apartment, she gave him a light slap on his ass, he smiled at her, they paused and shared a quiet, silent moment then they gave each other a long kiss and then she gave him cheeky wink as she left. If he wanted to leave her place then he could let himself out, but she was hoping that he might be there when she got back.

There was never any mass communication between the two of them, one always knew what the other was thinking. They always seemed to answer each other's questions before either had spoken a word. They were more similar to each other than they ever anticipated or ever expected. To the outsider this would seem weird, abnormal even, but to each other there was an unspoken perfection to their dynamic. They just got each other. They were starting to care for one another more than they had anyone before. One may even think they were falling in love.

Blue walked out of her apartment, down the sweeping marble stairs and out of the building. Blue lived in the bohemian quarter
of the city. It consisted of mostly rich students and rich city workers, there was only the occasional oddity that lived in the area. On the street where she lived there were trees lining the road, they looked beautiful in the autumn when the leaves were golden and about to drift gently to the pavement below. She always daydreamed on her way to meet the girls. Today, this day, Blue's birthday, it happened to be wonderfully sunny. The trees swayed in the gentle breeze, the leaves were a ripe green, lush and plump, they smelt of spring, that freshness that floated on the gentle wind. Blue had that feeling that she was glad to be alive.

Blue met her girl-friends in an exclusive new restaurant, the information text to them only minutes before they were due to meet. They were lunching in 'Azeri', an exclusive restaurant that Star had gotten them into at a moments notice. She wanted to treat all the girls as it was Blue's birthday. Star paid for everything, the others didn't feel bad either as they all knew how insanely loaded she was. They also knew how much she loved spending it on everyone around her, it made her feel popular and in charge of the group and to some extent she was probably right.

Jayne was depressed about the latest girl in her life. In all the time they'd known her she'd never let anyone in and now she let in her students at an alarming rate. She was a university lecturer in philosophy and more than occasionally one of the petite ladies would catch her eye, they wondered how on earth she wasn't fired. It never seemed to go well either, always going awry two months down the line. The current relationship was due to breakdown imminently. Jayne always had a melancholy air about her, dark clothes and a sombre attitude. It always surprised them that anyone could be attracted to such negativity. She also wore nothing but tight black clothes and flat black shoes, beatnik chic. Reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn in the beginning of Funny Face. Very pretty, but in a dark, dark place – languishing in misery.

Star was and is to this day a bona fide Celebrity. Her ego matched only by her massive bank balance. Whenever she would meet the girls anywhere she’d try going low key, it never worked though. Someone always tipped off the paparazzi, Blue always had a sneaky suspicion that it was Star herself. So they ended up in the most exclusive, expensive places where the photographers were forbidden. Blue would never voice her inkling, because she has now eaten in more beautiful, luxurious, wonderful restaurants than any living human should have ever been allowed to have dined in. Blue had always had Champagne taste and cider pennies, she was definitely the odd one out in the group, she had been left money when her parent's died, but she was also left on her own. Blue had some money, but nothing like the others, she could live comfortably on it, but she couldn't spend it all on lavish items, as it would soon diminish.

Blue really appreciated all of her friends and loved them all so much, they had been so lucky to have had each other to cling onto over the years.

Eliza always wore bright colours, she must have been the exact polar opposite of Jayne. Also rich (a common trait in Blue's friends, despite they're very diverse beginnings) but more eccentric than anyone you would ever meet in your entire life! Eliza became an anthropologist, specialising in remote cultures and rare occult practises. She has more doctorates and qualifications than you could shake a stick at. She always threw herself into her research, practising the rituals first hand. A renowned medium throughout the world, she gave Tarot readings, read palms and held séances. If it was weird, wonderful, paranormal or strange, she was and is to this day, the woman in the know.

Cleo was considered the mother of the group, as she was the only one with children, the most down to earth and street wise amongst them. She was an undercover agent with some underground government agency, she was a clean cut, well informed individual. That was of course until she had children, then her world views had shifted dramatically. She was still the same woman, intelligent and highly informed, but now she thought about her children before anything else. Until mother hood, she was by the book, it was black or white, no grey. She wasn't annoying with her purity for the logical, she was together, it suited her.

They were truly an eclectic group of friends. They had had lives of their own making, their dream lives. But the lives that they had weaved were getting busy, complicated and had signs of stress. Something was about to give, they knew something was going to change considerably or fall apart all together, they just didn't know who or what was coming. They could just feel a sense of foreboding, impending doom on the horizon. They all felt this, but ignored it, if they ignored it, it would go away.

Blue was in a rather good mood, the other girls noticed as soon as she'd walked in the restaurant, with a happy step. As soon as the gossip had begun it had been directed toward Blue and her incredible good mood. She told them exactly what she'd been up to earlier that day. They were happy to see her happy.

Star then told them all in great detail about the completely brilliant weekend she’d had in Tokyo. One of her many lovers had jetted her across the world so he could spend time with her. He'd spoiled her rotten and emptied his bank account on a weekends worth of treats just for her. She loved to see their faces when she'd brag about her impossibly fabulous life.

Jayne briefly cheered up as she momentarily commented on a new possible fling, a new girl at uni was teasing her, she made dates then kept cancelling on her. Jayne never really ended one relationship before she had started her next one. She then moved on to tell them the really rather important news that she was going to Paris for three months over the summer to lecture and talk philosophy with fellow philosophers. She was more excited about the fling and rather indifferent about the trip to Paris. The girls were positively excited for her, Blue even suggested that they all go out during the summer to visit her in Paris. Jayne thought that was a good idea too and their excitement had elevated her indifference.

Eliza's latest news was that she'd secured funding for a new study she was researching in Egypt – Blue looked at her with difficulty, she didn't like the long words she used constantly, they left her with a headache. The prolonged words and Eliza's dead sister Amelia whispering in Blue's ear was enough for anyone. Blue didn't regret the séances
, she was just pushed to the limits sometimes living with the consequences.

Cleo complained that her life was getting a little mental, she shouldn’t really tell anyone else anything about all this. But she'd been friends with these girls since Boarding School and she could trust them with her life, that was her undercover life. Which in effect was her real life, since getting pregnant with her target’s child and marrying him. Which according to her boss’s in the Agency was a sham. It was just real to the Catholic Church, the Italian Government, Valentino and her. She didn't know who to turn to. Of course she had known Valentino was high up in the Mafia but just recently there had been a power shift and he’d become the king pin of the whole operation in the UK. The real problem had cropped up when she was summoned to headquarters to receive a new mission objective. She had been ordered to terminate Valentino and both of their children, thus blowing the Mafia operation wide open. It was called operation Medea, her superiors were really sick bastards. She was absolutely appalled, it was completely unthinkable. She was contemplating what to do next, of course she wouldn't kill her children, or her husband. She knew who he was and what he was capable of, but he wasn't the man the Agency thought he was. She couldn't think of a way out, if she went against the termination order, she knew someone would be sent to terminate her, then her children and Valentino. The girls sat there in the restaurant, mouths slightly open, in abject horror. Silence overwhelming all five of the girls. They were speechless, unable to even suggest a solution.

Star got angry at Cleo and they started to bicker at one another. Blue interjected, Star's argument that this conversation should have probably happened somewhere else was noted and justified. But they were all friends and they couldn't fall out about this, especially when Cleo was in such pain. So Blue had settled the atmosphere before it turned sour. She even suggested that everyone move into Star's mansion, and treat it as a Spa break, with Yoga and meditation. Have time to think without the world buzzing past their windows, and discuss the life changing decisions they were all about to make. After all Star hardly used her own facilities and the staff were paid if she used it all or not. Star agreed and told them all they could stay there as long as they wanted, if they were there or not, it cost the same to run the place. They all agreed that it made sense and they could have each other around as well as enough space and luxury that it wouldn't drive them mad.

Blue thought that was far too much drama for one lunchtime. So Star dragged her out for retail therapy and she didn't argue this time. They both needed a whole new outfit for all of their big night out, celebrating Blue's twenty seventh birthday. Blue after all had a credit card screaming for her to max it out, she needed the entire ensemble, shoes, dress, bag and lingerie. Star had one place in mind, a boutique in a department store that you needed an appointment to get a look in. They stocked every designer worth a glance, the hottest new designers and their hottest new designs. Star had her own buyer there, an entire employee that only bought items for her. You truly know you have far too much money when you can afford to pay someone to be your stylist.

After three hours in the changing rooms, being pulled and tugged out of this and that. Star had decided Blue looked best in a fitted forties style dress with polka dots. She had the rest of the outfit too, seemed stockings, a bright red patent leather belt, patent leather red platform shoes and matching Vivienne Westwood bag. There was also red lingerie that defied gravity, jewellery worth thousands and make-up to complete the 'to die for' look.
