"Don't fall asleep, sweetheart," she said, wiping a smear of her own cum from
Jenny's face with her thumb. "We have to get ready for the murder mystery evening,
remember?"

Jenny nodded. "I know. Why don't you go and get showered first? I'll just doze
here and you can give me a nudge when you're done."

"Okay," she replied, pressing a gentle kiss to Jenny’s forehead, "that sounds like a
plan. Providing my legs work, of course!"

They grinned at one another and she forced herself to move, a glance at the
digital clock on the bedside table resulted in a stark red reminder they didn't have
much time to waste.

As she put the finishing touches on her outfit, she caught sight of Jenny looking
at her bemusedly in the reflection of the mirror. She spun around to face her, raising an
eyebrow questioningly. "What?"

Despite her girlfriend’s obvious efforts to the contrary, Jenny's lips quirked up
into a grin. "I'm sorry, Steph, but you look funny, that's all. I can't get used to it!"

"Well, I should hope not," she replied indignantly. "I’m dressed like a Victorian
gentleman, for god's sake!"

"Don't get stroppy, sweetheart. I'm just not used to seeing my beautiful girl all
trussed up like a man. I think I'd probably still do you, though." Jenny giggled.

"Oh really?" Stephanie swaggered, practising getting into character. "You would,
would you?" Moving in front of her, Stephanie grabbed Jenny's hips and pulled her
close, mashing their pelvises together. "You want a piece of this, do you?"

Jenny's moan of pleasure turned into what sounded like a squeak of surprise.

Jenny’s eyes widened, a reaction that didn’t appear to be dampened by the smug look
Stephanie knew she wore on her face.

"You're…you're
packing?
" The pitch of Jenny's voice grew much higher toward
the end of the sentence, as if she could barely say the words. "But why?"

"Gotta play the part, babe. Besides," she said, leaning in conspiratorially, despite
the fact they were completely alone, "I intend to fuck you later. With my candlestick, in
the library. Or something."

Jenny giggled and pulled away, wagging her finger. "Stop it now. We're all
cleaned and dressed up. Don't make me horny again. We're in severe danger of being
late as it is. It's a good job we only have to go downstairs."

"And looking at you, sweetheart, it's a good job we haven't got far to come back
to bed, because you look gorgeous. I don't know how I'll be able to resist shoving that
dress up and burying my face between your legs—to lick that sweet pussy of yours."

Jenny, her cheeks flushed, retrieved her clutch bag and the evening's instructions
from where she'd put them on the dressing table, then opened the door into the
corridor. "Come on, Steph. Let's go before this gets out of hand. After all, we don't want
to hold everyone else up. The sooner we get started, the sooner we can get back up here,
eh?"

Winking, Jenny walked outside, leaving her to grab her own instructions and the
room key. Exiting and securing the door behind her, Stephanie rushed after her
girlfriend. It wasn't difficult to catch up to her, considering she was in flat, very
masculine shoes and Jenny teetered on stilettos with her cocktail dress. Stephanie
purposely slowed down as she got a few paces behind Jenny, enjoying the exaggerated
wiggle of her ass as she walked. Unfortunately for her, Jenny happened to glance over
her shoulder and catch her in the act.

"Steph," Jenny hissed, turning and smacking Stephanie with her bag, "pack it in!

You're driving me crazy. Though in a good way. What's gotten into us tonight? We've
always wanted to come to one of these weekends, and yet, all we can think about is
fucking each other. We could’ve stayed at home and done that!"

"True," she replied, falling into step with Jenny and linking arms with her as they
continued down to the evening's designated rendezvous point. "Let's go and catch some
murderers, then go upstairs and screw."

"Ha!" said Jenny. "It sounds like something out of
Buffy!
Do you remember when
she was with Riley and they used to go out fighting vampires and monsters together?
All the endorphins and adrenaline and stuff would make them crazy horny, and they'd
go home and fuck like rabbits. We'll be like that."

Struggling not to roll her eyes at the eternal geekiness of her beloved, Stephanie
replied, "Well, I'm already feeling like that, so heaven knows what a bunch of chemicals
hitting my bloodstream is going to do. I hope that bed isn't valuable, because I have a
funny feeling we're going to break it."

"Ooh, is that a promise?"

Stephanie didn't reply, because they were pushing open the double doors to a
reception room, which was full of other guests. A few turned to glance at the pair and
gave polite smiles or nods, then turned back to the front of the room where an official
looking
guy tapped the top of a mike.

She and Jenny exchanged a look. It was bloody obvious the thing wasn't
switched on, and yet, he was still tapping it, blowing into the top and generally making
an arse of himself. More amusing still, the room had a small enough crowd it'd be
perfectly easy to hear him, anyway. He obviously just had an inflated sense of his own
importance.

They both took the opportunity to scope out their surroundings. The room had
beautiful fixtures and furnishings, gorgeous fireplaces and was just generally
impressive. The garish Halloween decorations only slightly marred this. In fact, if the
rooms were made dimmer, it was entirely possible the entire place would be pretty
terrifying. Stephanie guessed that would be on the cards tomorrow when the
Halloween party took place. Her mind wandered, thinking about the outfits she and

Jenny had chosen for the next day, and she smirked as she thought about the
reactions
they'd get.

Finally, a youngish guy toward the front of the group took pity on the man in
charge and reached forward to flip the microphone switch. It screeched to life, rudely
yanking Stephanie out of her almost daydream. Everyone went quiet and paid attention
immediately, waiting for the man to speak and introduce the evening's entertainment.

Half an hour later, and Stephanie's brain was in overdrive. Despite never having
participated in one of these evenings before, she was a fan of quizzes, puzzles and brain
teasers of any kind, so she was having great fun. Everyone had been briefed, though
Jenny and she had been so eager to get going they hadn't paid full attention. Then
everyone split up, each sent off on their own quest in order to uncover the truth of
“whodunit.” Stephanie, having narrowed it down to two suspects, headed to the library
to check for extra clues and evidence to help her nail down the perpetrator.

As she made her way along the narrow corridor leading to her destination, she
heard a loud creak coming from the floorboard. Part of her thought it was much too
loud to be a natural old house noise, and the other scolded herself for being so silly.

Continuing on, Stephanie glanced down at her notes. She was sure she was close to
solving the…

Another creak, closer this time. Stopping in her tracks, she spun round. She
wasn't sure if it were someone trying to freak her out, or steal clues and information
from her. Either way, she wasn't impressed.

"Who's there?" she barked, irritation coming off her in waves. "I know you're
there. It's impossible to creep around in these old houses. Something will always give
you away. And when I catch you, I'm not going to be happy."

There was no response. Shaking her head, she went on her way. If someone
wanted to play silly tricks that was their prerogative, though it clearly would’ve been a
more suitable idea for tomorrow. Tonight was murder mystery, tomorrow was trick or
treat. Didn't they know the difference?

Entering the library, she was immediately in awe. Letting out an audible “ahh,”
she was in love. The large room had bookshelves lining all four walls from floor to
ceiling, with a series of ladders dotted about for those tomes that were out of reach. She
was actually kind of surprised they let the general public in here, unsupervised. The
books looked old, very old, and valuable. Obviously, she wasn't going to damage any of
them, but she also knew not everyone would have such consideration.

Having done two admiring laps of the room, peering at all the books and
wishing she could have her own library just like it, she remembered why she was here.
Clues. Yes. Large bay windows were at each end, and each nook had a sofa and a table.

She headed to the area farthest from the door and began to search. She wasn't entirely
sure what she was looking for, but then, if it were too simple, the game wouldn't likely
be a “mystery.”

As she riffled through a sheaf of assorted papers, Stephanie heard another noise.

Less of a creak this time, but more of a swish. She now knew someone was definitely
following her. They must be after her information, because if they were genuinely
planning to search the library, they'd have just walked right on in and announced
themselves.

Putting the papers down, she grabbed her own notes and sat on the sofa. It was
surprisingly squishy, and she made a noise of surprise as she sank into it, her feet barely
touching the floor. She felt grateful she wasn't wearing a skirt or dress at that point,
otherwise, she'd probably be flashing her knickers to…well, absolutely nobody. No one
had entered the room. Frowning, Stephanie resolved to sit there a little longer. The
mystery person was close enough for her to hear the noise they were making, so they
must be right outside the door, perhaps peering around the frame to see if they could
see what she was doing.

She waited. And waited. Then, just as she started to disentangle herself from the
sofa, a whirlwind entered the room. Or at least, a very whirlwind-like Jenny did. She
ran as fast as her heels would allow and dashed into the room, whipping her head
around to look behind her. She shoved herself forcefully off the seat and ran toward

Jenny, ready to get very annoyed with whoever chased her as she could tell her
girlfriend was genuinely terrified. Turning to face the door, she saw nothing. By now,
even she began to wonder if there was any truth to the haunting rumours.

Jenny launched herself at Stephanie and squeezed her tightly, babbling
nonsensically. She could just about make out something about “so glad you're here”
and “was so scared,” but other than that, she was none the wiser. Pulling Jenny gently
out of her arms, she pointed her in the direction
of the sofa she'd just vacated,
then
strode across the room. Looking out into the corridor, she saw nothing out of the
ordinary. She shut the door and walked to where Jenny had sunk awkwardly into the
sofa.

She had been right about the flashing. Jenny's dress was long enough that there
was no underwear visible, but there was a decent portion of milky thigh, and she
couldn't help but look. Reluctantly tearing her gaze away and sitting beside Jenny, she
gently stroked her girlfriend’s hair. After she'd calmed down a little, she prompted, "So
what happened? Was there someone following you?"
