Movement beside the bed caught his attention. Con looked over to see Devon, standing beside the bed, fisting his cock. Devon reached out and cupped Tory’s chin. She turned her head and Con watched as a siren’s smile came over her face an instant before she opened her mouth. A few inches of Devon’s thick erection disappeared inside Tory’s mouth.

Devon reached up and grasped a handful of Tory’s hair, holding her in place. Con watched as Devon’s expression changed, became more intense, almost savage. Slowly he began to move his hips back and forth, fucking Tory’s mouth, while Con took possession of her pussy.

“Christ, Tory,” Devon groaned.

Con slammed his hips against her ass and began to fuck her pussy with fast furious strokes. “We’re about to go up in smoke, baby,” Con admitted. It was nothing short of the truth.

As if his words fueled her own passion, Tory started moving her mouth faster on Devon’s dick, taking over the rhythm.

“Hell, yeah. Suck it good, sugar,” Devon urged.

Con slid his cock all the way out of her pussy, pleased beyond measure when Tory whimpered, as if her pussy were aching for his cock. Con pushed in again, dragging a moan from her and a string of curses from him.

“Hungry?” Devon asked. “Do you need a mouthful of come, Tory?”

Tory released the hold her mouth had on Devon’s cock long enough to murmur, “Yes, please.” Her lips closed over the swelled head once more. Con and Devon were both mesmerized by the sight of her. So open and giving. Con fucked her harder, faster. At the same time, Devon took hold of her face and drove his cock in and out of her mouth.

Reaching beneath her, Con rubbed over her distended clit. Tory arched and clenched around him, her sex cupping his dick like a hot little fist as she flew apart. Devon cursed, his balls slapping Tory’s chin, then suddenly he stiffened and pulled free. Tory kept her mouth open as Devon pumped once more, shooting his come onto her waiting tongue. Con and Devon’s gazes were glued to Tory as she swallowed.

When her little pink tongue swiped over her lips, licking up the last few drops, Con felt something he hadn’t thought he’d ever feel toward the man who’d been like a brother over half his life—jealousy.

Chapter Two

“Well, that was a pleasant way to wake up,” Tory said as she dropped onto the mattress. Every nerve ending in her body was buzzing from her glorious orgasm.

Devon chuckled and kissed the top of her head before moving onto the bed and cradling her body against his. “Just pleasant?”

Without saying a word, Con shot up and headed toward the bathroom. Had she done something wrong? He was never quiet, especially after making love. When he reappeared, Tory noticed his gaze went straight to Devon and, unless she was mistaken, Con looked pissed. What was that about? As she sat up, Tory grabbed the sheet and wrapped it around her body. “Con?”

Con’s gaze softened as he stared at the hand she used to clutch the sheet close. “It’s been over two months, baby. You can lose the sheet.”

Tory smoothed her palm over the soft, light blue cotton material and said, “You two might’ve talked me into sleeping naked, but sitting around in the bright light of day in my birthday suit is never going to happen.”

“We’ll see, won’t we?” Devon asked. He moved off the bed and pulled on his pajama pants before moving to sit in the chair he’d vacated earlier.

“Yes, we will.” Always pushing for more, that was Con and Devon, but Tory wasn’t budging on this one.

Con went to the dresser and opened a drawer. After retrieving a pair of black silk boxers, he slid them on and leaned against the dresser, crossing his legs at the ankles. God, the man was delicious. His close-cropped midnight black hair always tempted Tory to reach out and play. Add a thickly muscled chest and gorgeous six-pack abs to the mix and it was no wonder Tory craved the man. Yep, Con was a silver-eyed hunk, no doubt about it.

“I have something to tell you two,” he said. “Now’s as good a time as any, I guess.”

Tory and Devon looked at each other, then back at Con. “Shoot,” Devon said.

“Next Monday is Valentine’s Day.”

Butterflies flitted around in Tory’s stomach at the reminder. Valentine’s Day. Crap. She didn’t have a clue what she was supposed to get Con and Devon. It was bad enough with one guy to think about. She had two, for crying out loud! “I’ll be honest, I have no idea what I’m getting either of you.”

Con winked. “What you just gave us works for me.”

“Ditto, sugar.”

Tory rolled her eyes. “Whatever. You were saying?”

“What would you two say to a trip to Cancun? Sun, surf and lots of hot, sweaty sex.”

For a moment Tory was speechless. “Seriously?”

Con stepped away from the dresser and came toward her. “I’ve already booked the room and bought the plane tickets.” Once he was within inches of the bed, he murmured, “We’ll leave Friday and come back late Sunday. Two days in a tropical paradise. What do you say?”

“Con, we should’ve talked about this”, Devon warned.

Con frowned over at Devon. “What’s there to talk about? You said yourself you were taking a personal day on Friday, so it’s not like you’ll be missing work.”

Devon stood and, unless Tory missed her guess, he looked ready to blow a gasket. “That’s not the point, damn it.”

Con pushed a hand through his hair. “Then what the hell is the point?”

“Did you ever stop to consider I might want to plan this with you?” Devon pointed to Tory and growled, “She’s not yours, Con, she’s ours.”

Uh-oh. Tory didn’t like the direction this little discussion was going. “Uh, guys?”

Con ignored her. “I don’t need the reminder. I figured this would be a fun trip for all of us.”

“That’s the problem,
you
figured.” He pointed back and forth between the two of them. “We should’ve worked together on this.”

Con took a step toward Devon and fired back, “To hell with that. I don’t need your damn permission to take Tory to Cancun.”

“We both love Tory and we both want her to be happy. She’s not going to be happy if we’re fighting over her like she’s a damn dog treat!”

“Stop it!” Tory yelled. Both men went silent, twin expressions of shock on their faces as they stared at her. “You two are being ridiculous.”

Con cursed and turned away. Something was eating at him, but she had no idea what it could be.

Tory scooted off the bed, the sheet wrapped tight around her, and went to him. She placed a hand on his shoulder and nearly moaned at the hard muscle beneath her fingers. “What is it, Con? Talk to me.”

He stiffened. For a moment Tory was afraid he wouldn’t answer. When he turned, forcing her to drop her hand, and blasted her with the full intensity of his silver gaze, her blood heated. “It’s nothing, baby.”

She smacked him on the chest. “It’s not nothing. You’re upset. Why?”

He sighed and shook his head. “It’s a hell of an adjustment, this relationship of ours.”

Her stomach bottomed out. “Is it me?” What if he were getting tired of her?

He frowned. “Huh?”

“She thinks you’re losing interest in her, you idiot.”

What She Needs

Con stepped forward, closing the distance between them, and wrapped his arms around her shoulders.

It felt so good to be held by Con. He didn’t do pathetic hugs. Only big bear hugs would do for him. “Oh hell, baby,” he whispered against the top of her head. “I could never lose interest in you. Not in a million years.”

She nuzzled his chest, content to breathe in his warm, masculine scent for a few seconds before asking, “What is it? We need to be able to communicate, Con. This won’t work otherwise.”

“I know. It’s just…” He paused before saying, “I don’t know. Give me a few days to figure it out.

Okay?”

She pushed back enough to look him in the eye. “Fine, but that’s all I’m giving you.”

He dipped his head and brushed his lips over hers. The brief contact scattered her wits. “You’re getting bossy, you know that?”

“I have to in order to hold my own against you two.” She felt another hard-bodied male behind her.

Large, gentle hands caressed her bottom through the sheet. Tory’s legs shook at the knowledge that she was effectively caged in by the two men who had managed to slip inside her heart as easily as they had her body. When Con tugged the sheet down, revealing her breasts, Tory blurted, “Summer and I are going shopping today.”

“Mmm, what time?”

“Noon,” she replied, forcing herself to stay on topic. “It’s already after ten and I still need to shower and dress.”

Con grinned and stepped back. “No problem,” he growled, then he took her hand and led the way to the bathroom. She looked back to see Devon slipping out of his pajama bottoms once again. When his erection sprang free, Tory knew she was a goner.

“Con was upset today and I don’t know why.”

Summer swallowed a mouthful of fettuccini. “Upset?” she asked. “With you?”

Tory stared at her manicotti. It was her favorite dish at her favorite restaurant and yet she wanted nothing to do with it. She pushed her plate away and slumped against the seat. “He said it wasn’t me, but I’m worried. I’ve never seen him so quiet, Summer.”

“Con’s sort of…intense, though, isn’t he? He doesn’t strike me as the sharing type.”

Boy, didn’t she know it! Two months together as lovers and three years of friendship before that, and Tory still hadn’t managed to get him to open up about his childhood. Oh, she knew the condensed version.

Living in foster care. Fighting just to survive. Taking himself from nothing and rising to the top. Everyone knew the story, but he hadn’t filled in the gaps. She wondered if he ever would. “He’s always been hard to figure out and he doesn’t like talking about…certain things. Still, this is different. I’m worried.”

Summer snorted. “That man loves you like nothing else. Whatever is bothering him, it’s not you. I would bet my bed-and-breakfast on that.”

“He and Devon got into an argument this morning. I thought they were going to start throwing punches. It was almost like Con was itching for a fight too.”

“What brought it on?”

“Con announced that he wanted to take us to Cancun this Friday. He’s booked the room for the weekend and everything. A Valentine’s Day getaway for three.”

Summer’s eyes lit up. “That’s really sweet. So, what’s the problem?”

“Devon was angry.” Tory picked up her napkin and fiddled with it. “He felt Con should’ve talked to him before planning something for my Valentine’s Day.”

“Oh, oops.” Summer set down her fork. “Boy, the dynamics of this relationship are tricky, huh?”

Tory nodded. “I suppose. The thing is, I’ve gotten used to thinking of them as one. I can’t imagine Devon without Con, and vice versa. I know it sounds crazy, but if Con decided to leave, it would feel like a part of my heart went with him.”

“You love them, don’t you?”

“Yes,” she muttered, before suddenly finding the placemat utterly fascinating. Of course, Summer saw right through her. Didn’t she always? Tory wondered if Con and Devon could read her so easily.

Summer nudged her foot beneath the table to gain her attention. “What?”

“Have you told Con and Devon that you’re in love with them?”

“I was going to wait until Valentine’s Day. It just seemed like it would be more romantic that way.

With the mood Con’s been in lately, I’m not sure he even wants to hear it, though.”

“Okay, in case you didn’t hear me the first time, Con and Devon love you! Of course they want to know their feelings are reciprocated.”

“You didn’t see the way Con acted after we made love this morning. He shut down. No tender words or teasing remarks. He was…cold.”

Summer dabbed her lips with the napkin, then tossed it onto her plate. “You know, maybe he’s just having a guy moment.”

Tory’s brows furrowed in confusion. “Is that like male PMS?”

“No, dork. What I mean is…well, Con and Devon both have such dominant personalities. Maybe Con is struggling a little, knowing he has to share you with Devon.”

“He’s jealous,” Tory surmised.

“It can’t be easy for a guy to know he can’t have the woman he loves all to himself. He can’t even get you a Valentine’s Day gift without consulting Devon. That has to be hard to swallow.”

Tory watched her friend blush. “This is an awkward conversation, isn’t it?”

“Yeah, but I’m glad you told me.”

What She Needs

“I am too. And I think maybe you’re right. But if that’s the case, why isn’t Devon showing signs of jealousy too?”

“Devon seems less…”

“Savage? Wild? Rough around the edges?”

“Um, yeah.”

Tory took a sip of her diet soda and thought over Summer’s words. Devon was definitely more grounded than Con. Whenever the three of them made love, it was always Con who pushed her to her limits, while Devon tended to be gentler. “I think the only solution here is to go to Cancun. Once we’re there, I intend to tie that man to the bed and force him to talk.”

Summer picked up her soda and saluted her. “Sounds kinky. I like it!”

They both laughed. Tory quickly recovered when she saw Gage, Summer’s hunky PI man, striding toward them. He made a shushing motion with his finger. Tory smiled and turned her attention to Summer.

“So, what’s Gage up to today?”

“He had some cheating spouse case he was working on, but he said he was going to meet us for lunch.” Summer glanced at her watch and sighed. “Considering we’re pretty much finished eating, I take it he got busy and forgot.”

As Gage came to stand directly behind Summer, he leaned down and murmured, “I’d never forget you, baby.”

Summer jumped and turned her head. “You sneak!”

Gage leaned down and pressed his lips to Summer’s. Tory let out a dreamy sigh. “You guys are so cute together.”
