He pushed out his ass and bared his throat, playing the submissive.

It was obviously what Ashlock needed, as the vampire hissed and descended upon him like a beast, nipping and biting almost every inch of him. The faint aroma of his own blood on the air should have been enough to cool his lusts, but it only spurred him on until he was moaning and begging for more.

More was exactly what he got when Ashlock finally stopped teasing and sank his fangs into Zeke’s throat low near his shoulder and thankfully away from his jugular so there was no danger of serious injury. Teeth still imbedded, Ashlock growled, sending shivers through Zeke’s whole body. He heard the unmistakable
zick and snick
of a zipper lowering and another ripping sound of fabric tearing a few seconds before Ashlock pressed along the length of his back, that hard, long shaft riding his crease.

The wet trail it left behind that tingled in the cool air was more than just precum. Ashlock must have grabbed some tattoo gel when Zeke was distracted. Even at the same time as being relieved that Ashlock had the presence of mind to find something to work as lube, Zeke knew this was going to be rough.

With Ashlock’s bite holding him captive, the only thing he could do was try to relax his muscles. There was no prep, and the gel wasn’t designed for this purpose—and Ashlock wasn’t a small man. Zeke arched and forgot to breathe as the plump head breached him, pushing insistently inside.

Ashlock shook over him, making pitiful impatient whines, but the vampire still didn’t forge ahead or slam into him. Slowly, Ashlock sank deeper into him and retracted his teeth as Zeke struggled to relax. Even though he knew it was for his own good, the trembling restraint, he didn’t want it. He needed fast and primal, he wanted to feel Ashlock in his body for a week.

His wolf didn’t like not being able to touch his mate and Zeke had to give up his leverage and fall flat to the table again in order to reach back and clutch at Ashlock’s ass.

Digging his fingers into the firm clenching cheeks let him have a little control. He pulled Ashlock closer until the vampire’s pelvis was flush to his ass, that steel-hard cock all the way in, and he screamed, pressing his face into the leather to muffle the sound. It hurt so damn good, and he wasn’t even sorry for it when Ashlock growled again, nipping down on his neck again in warning not to move.

A low, desperate rumble escaped Ashlock and he had just enough time let go of Ashlock and grip the edges of the table before Ashlock let loose, forgoing the control that Zeke didn’t want, and began driving into him like a man possessed. The force of the thrusts slammed the table against the wall and left dents. Seeing the power of his mate sent little thrills through him, speaking to the animal within.

Zeke couldn’t do anything more than hold on. Ashlock pulled back and thrust over and over again, the pounding rhythm getting faster and faster until Zeke was helpless. He could only lie there and moan, struggling to breathe through the intense pleasure sizzling through him. His balls drew up tight to his body and his cock leaked more than enough precum to allow him a slick friction against the table. The cool leather shocking his overheated, sensitive skin.

“Now, Ashlock,” he bellowed.

He roared out his orgasm, shaking with the strength of it.

Ashlock was only a second behind him, shooting hot release up into his body and hissing against his throat, licking the bite wounds closed before ripping away from him with a predatory hiss.

At moment later, Ashlock’s mind slammed into his and it was similar to when they’d mated in the wolf way, except more…just more. He could feel the very essence of himself twisting around Ashlock until they formed an unbreakable rope between them, tying them together. Instinctively he knew that if Ashlock were to die he would follow, not some time later from grief, but in the same instant, because his life and Ashlock’s were one of the same now.

Zeke’s mind blanked out and darkness reigned.

“Zeke?”

The peaceful comfort around him faded away as he heard Ashlock calling his name.

“Zeke, please wake up. Show me those beautiful hazel eyes and tell me you’re okay,” Ashlock pleaded, fingers brushing through his hair.

Zeke opened his eye with a moan, flinching at the brightness as he found himself back up on the table, lying flat and looking up at Ashlock, who was leaning over him wearing a worried frown. With smears of blood around his mouth and his eyes still glowing red, Ashlock looked every bit the vampire he was, but Zeke saw past that to his mate underneath.

“Hey, that was fun,” he said, giving Ashlock a grin. He reached up to wind a hand around the back of Ashlock’s neck and pulled him down for a kiss. The kiss was light and gentle, and Zeke gloried in the warmth that spread through the bond. He could feel Ashlock inside his mind, like the vampire was a very part of his soul.

“Are you sure you’re okay?”

“I’m fine. Better than, in fact. Can’t you feel?” Zeke mentally twanged the psychic rope connecting them. He received a faint smile for that and Ashlock let him pull him in for another kiss. This time Zeke felt a little playful and licked Ashlock’s fangs, tasting himself as the sharp teeth nicked him.

Breaking the kiss with a pained cry, Ashlock stumbled back and caught himself on the desk. Zeke heard the metal groan in protest and saw finger dents in the surface when Ashlock let go. He rolled off the table and landed on his feet, moving to steady his mate, gripping his shoulders.

“What’s wrong?”

“Oh God, I can feel it starting again. We need to get home or we’ll destroy the shop,” Ashlock said, arms coming around himself to hug his middle. Zeke didn’t even pause to think. He urged Ashlock out of the shop’s back entrance and bundled him into the car, not caring that he was naked and Ashlock’s clothes were still hanging in tatters. He grabbed the emergency phone from the glove compartment and texted Remy a warning to get home in case it hit him as hard as it had Ashlock. The intensity could be a vampire thing, but maybe it wasn’t. He also sent a brief message to Frenchie apologising and saying that he and Ashlock would pay to have that back room refurbished and the equipment replaced also adding not to get rid of the broken stuff. He wanted that table.

Ashlock cried out, writhing against the seat, eyes glowing. A quick glance down confirmed Ashlock’s cock was back to readiness and leaking as if they hadn’t just shaken the earth minutes before.

“It’s okay, baby. We’re going now. Just hold on until we get to the coven house and you can have me any way you want me,” he promised, turning the engine over and revving the truck to life. He put pedal to the metal and raced out of the parking lot.

Chapter Five

Remy

Remy fished his phone out of his pocket when he heard the text alert. “Hey, Zeke just text me saying that we better get home quick. Seems like the serum hit them hard.”

His mate immediately opened the wooden door to the changing room wide enough to pop his face out. They were in a private fitting area, but Skylar had insisted that he’d change in the small sectioned off cubical so Remy could have the full effect of each outfit. “They okay?”

“It sounds like it,” he answered, pressing a few buttons to bring up the location of his brother’s phone. The coven. “Whatever happened, they’re at home now. They probably just got a little exhibitionist.”

“Okay, let me just try on one more.”

“Skylar…”

“I’m already halfway to putting it on,” his mate argued.

He never should have agreed to this. It was his own fault for bringing up the fact there was a new designer store opening not far outside pack lands. He’d shot himself in the foot there.

But seeing Skylar’s face light up at the thought of yet more clothes to touch and feel was worth some suffering. He just wasn’t sure if it was worth
this
much. He’d lost the bet fair and square. Skylar had bargained that if Remy could stand an hour’s
torture
without coming then they could install a pole in their room and Skylar would give him all the private dances he wanted for a whole month. Stupidly he’d scoffed when his mate had stipulated that if he lost, Remy would have to take him shopping.

Needless to say, Remy had lost—a few times actually.

He grinned as he remembered that night and couldn’t even find any disappointment in the defeat. Glancing over at the full rack of clothes Skylar had already marked to buy, he was thankful he had secured a lucrative contract for another action film series that wanted top of the line kitted-out street race cars. He was in no danger of going broke even without that, but he had every intention of losing a few more bets, so it was nice to have a safety net.

Skylar didn’t need Remy to buy him things—his mate had a fortune of his own. However, the alpha wolf in him liked to provide for his mate and his pack.

This alpha thing might still be fairly new to him, but Skylar helped him every step of the way. Because they fit. They were mates, and Skylar belonged to him as much as he belonged to Skylar. It was as simple as that. His wolf grunted in agreement, lying lazily close to the surface of his mind.

A strangle groan came from Skylar’s dressing room and he whipped his head around just in time to see the wooden door smash off its hinges, sending splinters of dark stained wood flying everywhere.

“Skylar!”

The sound of footsteps racing in their direction stopped him from going straight to his mate and instead had him running in the opposite direction. He pulled the door open just in time to see the middle-aged man and young woman from earlier about to reach for the handle to enter.

“Sir! What on earth is going on in there?”

A weight slammed into his back, knocking off balance enough that he almost shut the door in their alarmed faces. “Sorry, hand slipped on the handle,” he said, pulling the door open again and giving them what he hoped was a calm, charming smile.

Skylar hissed behind him, ripping the back off his pants clean off. The cool air made him clench his ass cheeks and his smile slipped. He quickly pasted it back on, forcing a small laugh.

The storeowner and assistant shared a dubious look and he knew he was minutes away from having to deal with a call to the police.

“What can I say, he’s really passionate about clothes.” He braced his legs apart to keep the front of his pants from falling down and snatched his wallet out of his pocket, flipping it open and snagging his credit card. “We’re buying everything in the store today.”

Instantly their demeanour changed as the credit card was waved in front of them. As new customers, Remy had already been checked out and his limit or lack thereof confirmed, so they knew he was as good at his word. He handed the piece of plastic over and stared the owner down. The older man flicked a glance from him to the card he now held and Remy smirked. The alarm on the man’s face cleared and greed took its place.

Remy smothered the moan building in his throat when Skylar ripped his shirt the same way as his pants and kissed his shoulder. His mate started making his way down his back, licking the dents at the base of his spine.

“Do we have an understanding?”

“Certainly, sir. We’ll leave you to…continue trying on the rest of the items you have with you and begin packing the rest. Would you like it delivered to the address you gave us already?”

“Yeah—” he shuddered and his eyes rolled back into his head when Skylar’s tongue delved into his crack. “That would be great. We’ll see you when we finish. I mean, when he’s finished trying things on.” God, he needed to close the door right now or these people were going to witness a hell of a lot more than they wanted to.

The owner’s face screwed up in distaste, but he didn’t say anything. In contrast, the young woman giggled before turning the involuntary sound into a cough when her boss shot her an unamused look. Remy winked, making her blush furiously.

Skylar’s hands spread his ass cheeks and Remy had to hope the promise of selling tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of clothes in one day was enough of an incentive for the owner to keep quiet and stay away from this area of the shop until they came out. He shut the door and dropped his head against it as Skylar’s breath blew over his hole and balls. He went from mildly aroused to game ready in less than two seconds.

“Urgh, Skylar, what are you doing to me?”

“Can’t you feel it?”

“You rimming me? Yeah I can,” he groaned, pushing his ass back for more.

“No, the heat and the connection. It’s pouring off you. It snapped into place when I was changing, and you heard me.” Skylar punctuated the argument with a bite to his ass cheek as if he knew Remy’s attention was wavering.

Because we fit.

Okay,
that
he heard. Pushing away from the closed door, Remy managed to turn around without getting tangled up in the ragged mess of what was left of his clothes. The beautiful sight of Skylar’s naked body greeted him. “That was you. I heard you in my mind?”

Nodding, Skylar turned those bright blue eyes up to him.
Yes. The link is finally complete. Jake’s serum must have removed the wall keeping me out.

His wolf jumped to attention and he felt the alpha power begin to rise like it hadn’t since he’d first won the challenge against Trevor. A shot of adrenaline entered his bloodstream as excitement tickled at his stomach. There was nothing between them now. He concentrated on Skylar’s voice, the one that fluttered like butterfly wings across his mind and followed it though the bond until he saw what he didn’t even know he’d been missing out on.

Everything he’d felt before when he’d mated Skylar and said the vampire words that bound them together seemed like a lighter, paler version of what was between them now, like a printer that had run low on ink compared to a master painter.

“How did I not know…Did you?”

“No. I’d heard stories, but thought they were just romantic tales. I can feel you more, like you’re wrapped around me.”
