The warning bell rang, and I jumped a mile. I’d only eaten
half of my food because I’d been daydreaming, so I choked the rest down
quickly, following my friends to our lockers to get books for the rest of the
afternoon.

By the time Will’s class came around, I was grinning like an
idiot, the same as usual. I laughed as all of the girls did their hair,
reapplied make-up and unbuttoned shirts, before heading into his classroom.
There were still some rumours about him and Miss Teller, but another rumour
that had been circulating recently was that Will was gay. Some of the
cheerleaders had started that one when he hadn’t even batted an eyelid when
they were flirting with him in their cheer uniforms. I wasn’t sure if Will knew
of this rumour or not, I guessed no, because he hadn’t said anything about it
to me and there was no way I was dropping a bomb like that on him.

The rumours didn’t stop the girls flirting with him though.
Some of their attempts were pitiful. I almost felt sorry for them when he just
shrugged it off or ignored it. I didn’t feel jealous. I thought I would do,
seeing them flirt with my boyfriend, but for some reason, I knew I didn’t need
to feel jealous of them.
I
was the one he wanted, he could have chosen
any girl, but he chose me, so I had no need to worry about a slut trying to
talk to him.

As I walked into his classroom, the lights were already down
low, and there was a projector sitting at the front. I frowned and took my seat
next to Amy. As I bent down to get something out of my bag, someone crashed
into the back of my chair, making my chest hit on the edge of the desk,
knocking the wind out of me.

I frowned round at the person, only to see Erika Dennison
and a couple of her girls smirking as she bumped my chair again on purpose as
she moved along the row behind me.
Ugh, what a freaking witch!

“Oops, my bad,” Erika purred sarcastically.

I didn’t say anything about it, just looked away. I didn’t
need a problem with her again. Erika had taken an instant disliking to Amy when
we first started school, and because we were friends she obviously disliked me
too. She made the first year of our school lives a misery. As she got older,
she got prettier and prettier, and as her looks improved so did her bitchiness.
I hated her with a passion but she seemed to stay out of my way this year,
mainly because Amy and I ignored her daily attempts to annoy us. There was no
way I was going to let myself get on her radar again.

I caught Amy’s eye and she mouthed the word “Bitch” to me,
nodding her head discreetly in Erika’s direction. I just nodded in agreement
and rolled my eyes.

“Right then, guys and girls, today we’re going to be looking
at the development of the Infinite Series, and the history of the theory. We’ll
just have a brief overview with the projector because I’ve found these incredible
slides hidden in the back of the math block and there’s no point in them going to
waste!” Will chirped happily as he rubbed his hands together excitedly.

I resisted the urge to cough and call him a geek under my breath;
instead I just grinned and pulled out my notes.
How can such an incredible guy
get so excited over numbers? It really isn’t right. Maybe I should be a little
worried that I’m in love with a math nerd.
I giggled a little under my
breath, and he looked at me with one eyebrow raised.

“Everything okay, Miss Henderson?” he asked.

I nodded quickly. “Absolutely, just looking forward to
learning about the infidel series,” I answered.

He burst out laughing shaking his head. “Infinite series,
not infidel.”

I laughed too. “Oh. I’ll just shut up now and let you get on
with the lesson,” I stated, grinning at him.

He nodded, smirking at me. “I think that would be for the
best.”

I giggled quietly and grabbed my notebook as he flicked on
the projector, looking like a kid in a candy store. It didn’t start off too
bad, learning about some guy in India in the 14th century who first came up
with the theory. But the more it went on the more lost I became. As soon as the
figures and symbols started appearing on the screen my brain seemed like it
just refused to understand. It was nothing to do with Will’s teaching at all,
it was all me and my inability to understand the subject of calculus. I just
didn’t have the right brain for this kind of thing, science was the same. I was
more of an English and Art girl.

It didn’t bother me that I didn’t understand this stuff, as
long as I graduated then that was all I needed and then I would never look at
another equation again.
Well, unless Will is marking them or something for
his classes while I’m with him.
As soon as I thought that, my brain drifted
to us years down the line… him grading his student papers while I sat around
watching him. I sighed dreamily and then realised that the projector was off,
and he was talking again.

I gulped and tried to concentrate on his words instead of
the way he moved his hands when he spoke, or how his behind looked in his jeans
when he was writing on the board.
Hmm, maybe it is his fault I have such a
problem with his class. I clearly can’t concentrate with him near me.

He set an assignment for us to start and then whatever we
hadn’t done we were to finish as homework. I frowned and pulled my textbook
towards me, trying to read it over, but failing miserably. I was pretty sure I read
the same paragraph four times and it still looked like it was written in a
foreign language.

Will stopped next to me, putting his hand on the table next
to mine, his fingertip touching mine as he leant over to see how I was doing.
“Okay? I could explain it again,” he offered quietly.

I shook my head. “I’m all good. I’ll read it again later,
and if I have a problem I’ll let you know,” I replied, blushing, not really
wanting this extra attention in front of everyone else.

“Okay, well you know I’m always here for you, Miss Henderson.”
He smirked at me giving it a double meaning. I smiled and nodded, not daring to
meet his eyes because I knew I’d blush. Lucky for me someone called him over to
help them so I didn’t make a fool out of myself for a change.

When the bell rang everybody jumped up, packing up their
books. I stuffed mine in my bag, just about to follow Amy out of the door when
Will called to me. “Miss Henderson, think I could have a quick word with you?”

Amy smiled at me. “I’ll wait by the lockers,” she suggested.

“Okay, thanks.” I smiled at her gratefully. Will didn’t
usually stop me after class so he probably just wanted to talk about tonight. I
suddenly started to worry that he was going to cancel on me or something. I
hadn’t seen him properly since Monday so I really hoped he wasn’t going to
cancel on me.

Amy left and pulled the door shut behind her so I turned to
Will, who was shuffling papers. “What’s up?” I asked, heading over to him,
perching on the edge of his desk, crossing my ankles.

He sighed, stepping closer to me. “Damn, these legs have
been running through my mind all day,” he purred, running a hand down over my
hip until he got to the bottom of my skirt, his fingers tickled across the skin
just above my knee.

I gulped and gripped the side of his shirt, pulling him even
closer to me. “Well thoughts of your mouth on my legs have been running through
my mind all day,” I replied, my voice barely above a whisper because I was so
excited by his touch.

He smiled and pressed himself against me, his face inches
from mine. “You are just too hot for words, Cutie,” he moaned. His eyes flicked
down to my lips for a split second making me draw in a ragged breath as my
whole body broke out in goosebumps. He smiled and cupped the side of my face in
one of his hands as he brushed his nose against mine.

What on earth has gotten into him today? First the car,
and now he’s doing this at school?
He had kissed me a couple of times at
school, but other than a few indiscretions, we tried extremely hard to keep our
relationship outside of the school grounds.

“My mom called me at the end of lunch,” he whispered as he
pecked my lips lightly.

His mom? Great, he’s definitely cancelling on me tonight
judging by the start of this conversation! His mom has probably asked him to do
something for her or something
. I frowned and pressed my lips to his again,
making his hand move to the back of my neck, his fingers tangling in the back
of my hair.

He pulled back after a few seconds and put his forehead
against mine and I just waited for him to continue, to blow me off for tonight
and tell me that he’d just have to see me Saturday instead.

“She’s planning a surprise dinner for my dad on Saturday
night. It’s their anniversary, and she wants the family to go out for dinner,”
he whispered, kissing me again.

I nodded, not breaking the kiss.
So he’s blowing me off
for Saturday instead of tonight.
I gripped the sides of his shirt, pressing
my body against his. He pulled away again to let us breathe, I smiled. “Okay,
but I still get to see you Sunday, right? You’re not cancelling both days, are
you?” I asked, trying not to pout because I was missing a day of his company.
Hmm,
maybe I should cancel with Sam tomorrow so I can hang out with Will instead.

He laughed quietly. “You didn’t let me finish,” he teased,
kissing the tip of my nose. “My mom wants you to come too.”

I gulped. Suddenly I became both excited and scared at the
same time. He’d told his parents all about me being his student, they knew we
were dating. Apparently he’d told them everything when we first broke up
because they kept asking about me all the time. They didn’t seem to mind about
it in the slightest, according to Will; they just liked seeing him happy. I had
only met them once, at his sister’s wedding, and they’d seemed genuinely nice
at the time. They had to be great people to have two awesome boys like Will and
Sam. From what I’d heard about Kaitlin she was just as nice too, but I’d only spoken
to her for a few minutes on her wedding day so I didn’t really know her much at
all.

I looked at Will a little unsure what to say. It seemed quite
weird to be taken home to meet his family when he had no chance of doing that
in return, at least for a few months anyway.

“Really?” I mumbled.

He smiled reassuringly. “She’s booked a restaurant a little
way out of town so no one will see us together. It will just be us, my parents,
my sister and her husband, and Sam. You’ll be fine. If you want me to, I’ll hold
your hand all night long for moral support,” he offered, raising one eyebrow, looking
so hot that he took my breath away.

“That’d be kind of awkward when I want to cut my food,” I
teased, making him laugh. “Will, do they really want me there?” I asked,
looking at him sceptically.

He smiled and kissed me again softly. “Of course they do,
Cutie. You’re my girl. We come as a package now, me and you.” His eyes were
boring into mine, and I could see how much me going to a family dinner meant to
him.

I pushed all of my nerves away and nodded, biting my lip.
“Okay sure, I’d love to meet your family again,” I told him; trying not to show
him how scared that made me. It wasn’t that it was scary meeting his family; it
was just a little weird that they knew that I was a minor and his student, and
yet they still wanted me to go out with them for an anniversary dinner.

Will grinned at me happily before kissing me again. I
wrapped my arms around the back of his neck and didn’t let him pull away this
time. When his tongue grazed my bottom lip, I eagerly granted him access,
submitting to his request and pressing my whole body against his tightly. He
moaned in the back of his throat, and before I even knew what had happened, he
slammed me against the wall, his hands running down my body as he kissed me almost
desperately.

My whole body felt like I had died and gone to heaven as he
pushed my skirt up slightly, his hands massaging my bare thighs. I gasped as he
kissed down my neck, biting on the skin gently, before returning to my mouth.
The kiss was so all-consuming that my knees felt weak. He pressed me against
the wall tighter as he lifted me off of my feet, guiding my legs around his
waist as he kissed me like he could devour my soul.

He hadn’t kissed me like this for a long time. It seemed
like he’d completely lost all of his restraint. This was the type of thing that
he didn’t let happen at all, no matter how much I begged. My heart was beating
like crazy, and some small part of me knew that we should stop. He would regret
this if I let it carry on… but I couldn’t force the words out to stop him. I
needed this, we both needed this otherwise we’d end up going crazy.

I gripped my hands into his hair and pulled his mouth away
from mine so I could breathe, but his lips didn’t leave my skin, they just
travelled down my neck instead, leaving a burning trail in their wake. I moaned
his name and he pushed us away from the wall, heading back over to his desk
again. He laid me down on top of all of his papers he was sorting earlier; I
clamped myself to him tightly as he pulled back slightly.

He opened his mouth to speak, and I felt my heart sink.
He’s
regained his composure again; he’s going to tell me that we need to stop.
His
eyes were so excited that it made my breath catch in my throat, I could feel
his whole body pressed against mine, and I knew that, physically, he didn’t
want to stop either, I could feel the evidence of that.

“I love you, Chloe,” he whispered, kissing me again. His
hands roamed my body again, one slipping under my shirt the other gripping my
ass as he pressed his crotch against mine.

Wait, he isn’t stopping?

I felt happiness building up inside that his hands were
finally on me after five long weeks of playing it cool. My fingers were
trembling as I started on the buttons of his shirt, pushing it off of his shoulders
as I kissed over his chest.
