I hope he’s wearing a condom.

Nia’s thought filled him.

Although he couldn’t pass anything on to her because of what he was, he sheathed his erection. It pained him to do it. The bare feel of her around him was so much better than a condom between him and his woman. Yes, Nia was his. They still had to get to know each other, but he already knew she would be with him for a long time. Moaning, he murmured to her in the old
Garlven
language. Nia’s whimpers drove him on. Each motion into her was met with the delicious friction of her tightening around him. She was a passionate match for him, the fire he had sensed inside her scorching as she let it go.

In the lobby, he had wanted her, but resisted. He’d kept out of her thoughts, for there was no need to intrude. All she was feeling was on her face. On the walk down the hall, he had argued with himself that he should give her time. In the elevator, he had decided to wait at least until after dinner. But when she had looked at him with such hunger, he had almost ripped off the rails in the elevator trying not to go to her. When she had made the first step towards him, he had met her, and they had exploded. Each touch, scent, and sound had captured his senses. When she had given him her name, she had opened her mind to his. He had melded them together, feeding words into her mind. She hadn’t noticed, but she had wondered. Distracting her with sex was not fair, but she wasn’t ready to know all of him—not yet.

Undulating his hips, he growled as her wetness coated his sheathed shaft. Nia’s breath hitched and she clamped down on him. Her inner walls quivered as she came again. He roared, joining her in the pleasure of release. Darius held her up as she sagged against him. The solidness of her against him made him want to have her again. Releasing her hands, he cupped her ass and carried her into his apartment. He skirted the furniture that made up his home, heading for the bedroom. Once there, he took her right to bed, laying her down on the mattress.

Nia moaned as they parted. Her lids fluttered, and she studied him. The cynical look was back on her face. He removed the filled condom and threw it in the trash, then donned another. He blanketed her body and filled her again.

“Once is all there’s going to be.” Her eyes narrowed, and a snarl rose on her lips.

“Sure. Once in the elevator, and now once in bed.” He smirked.

“You think you’re funny.” She pushed at his shoulders.

Darius stroked inside her. The hitch of her breath and the tightening of her pussy made him chuckle.

“I don’t want this,” she protested.

He stilled, then rolled off her.

“Okay. You can leave if you wish.” Darius shrugged.

He kept his face averted. He could feel her gaze on him. Darius imagined she was biting the inside of her cheek. The bed dipped as she slid from it. Then her footsteps padded to the door and out of the room. Darius put his hand over his face, silently cursing her stubbornness. They’d had each other in the elevator, yet she was still resisting him.

“Just sex.” Her soft voice startled him.

Slowly, he lowered his arm. Nia stood at the foot of the bed, naked, her full curves on display. He licked his lips, aching to taste her nipples. They were darker brown than the rest of her caramel skin. His lowered his gaze, taking in the rounded belly he had touched and wanted to lick, then her bare mound where he had been buried and desired to be again.

Raising his head, he answered, “For tonight.”

“Good. Now spread them.” Nia partially lowered her lids over her captivating eyes, a siren smile curling her lips.

Darius did as she bid. Nia crawled up between his spread legs. At his groin, she pulled off the condom. She slid her lips over his bulging erection. A groan ripped from him as she sucked him down. Shaking, Darius rambled in the
Garlven language, not even registering what he was saying. Nia showed no mercy as she suckled him, licking, biting and sucking on his sensitised flesh. Heat curled at the base of his spine and flew up his back and to his head. His sac got heavy. She held his balls in a firm grip, squeezing with just the right pressure to tantalise him. The exquisite pleasure pooled in his belly, ready for release. Straining to hold it at bay, he grunted, uncontrolled, fucking her mouth.

Nia opened to him, taking his thrusts and moaning against him. The rippling vibrations around him were his undoing. He bucked. Her fingers gripped below his shaft, holding back his release.

“Son of a bitch. What the fuck?” Darius said.

“You don’t seem like a man who swears much. Guess something made you do it,” Nia snickered.

“You fucking know what did,” Darius growled.

“Yep. It’s called driving you out of your mind,” Nia whispered darkly.

Darius blew a strand of his hair from his eyes. Nia followed it with her gaze. She licked her lips. Darius raised his hand and released his hair from its braid. Spreading it behind him, he watched her. Nia couldn’t take her gaze off it.

“Do you want to feel it on your skin? Maybe between your legs as I lick your clit?” Darius asked huskily.

“Yes. But I want to come with you inside of me,” Nia said.

Darius smiled and pulled her to him. He kissed her hungrily, shifting her on the bed. Rolling over her, he put her beneath him, then trailed his lips between her breasts. He didn’t pause to taste her nipples, but continued on to the treasure he sought. At the rounded mound of her stomach, he kissed and licked the flesh. Nia moaned above his head. He trailed his tongue down over the bare front of her pussy. Pushing her legs wider apart, he watched her wetness. Her clit was hard, and her pussy spasmed. Leaning down, he licked from bottom to top, then sucked her clit. Nia bucked, almost unseating him. He held her down firmly and had his fill, licking, suckling and nibbling on her fleshy folds. Her whimpers of need sounded over his head.

“Right…there… Please… I… I… Need… Deeper… Damn…you…Darius,” she gasped.

At the sound of his name on her lips, he delved inside, suckling the sweet essence of her. Licking his lips, he did it again, lapping at her, not able to get enough of her taste. Her fingers gripped his hair urgently, holding him as she ground against his mouth. Darius pulled the tail end of his hair over his shoulder and placed it over her pussy. He rubbed it against her clit, abrading it. Nia moaned, rocking against him.

“Yes…touch…me… Your hair… Right there… God… It feels good… Please, Darius!” she screamed.

He moved quickly over her, mentally sheathing his erection with a condom, then thrust into her wetness. He growled as she tightened on him, coming. In one, two, three strokes, he joined her. Shuddering, he pumped as her pussy clenched and unclenched with her releases. Groaning, he collapsed against her. Nia held him fiercely, then gripped his hair, pulling his head back. Her lips closed over his as she kissed him fiercely. Darius returned her kiss.

Nia withdrew and slumped back onto the bed, breathing harshly. Shifting, he pulled out and got rid of the condom. He moved to her side, then arranged her so her back was to his front.

Darius slid a leg between hers and cupped her rounded stomach, holding her close to him. Nia muttered, not really forming any words. Darius kissed the side of her face. She settled deeper against him and her body relaxed. He knew the instant she went to sleep, then joined her as she did.

A sound woke him. Not opening his eyes, he let his other being see. A small smile curled his lips. Nia was dressing in the dark. From her cursing, she’d hit her toe. She bit her lips, glancing at the bed to make sure she hadn’t woken him. Darius stifled his laugh. Nia finished dressing and left the room hurriedly. Darius used his mental powers and entered the code for the elevator for her. Once she was inside, he sat up in the bed. The sheet pooled around his naked body.

After they’d slept, he had ordered dinner. Then they had returned to bed and the passion had been even more intense than before. Two more times, they’d had each other. He’d been sure she was out for the night. Yet she had sneaked off. He glanced out of the floor-to-ceiling windows at the just-rising sun. Enjoying it, he waited until the red, gold and orange was high in the sky, then got out of bed. He stretched and went to get ready for his day. He had a lot to do.

An hour later, in the elevator on the way to his office, Darius laughed loudly. Nia was turning out to be a runner. It was a good thing he was faster.

Chapter Three

Whistling, Darius stepped off the elevator and strolled towards his destination. He passed two of his brothers. They smiled at him and walked with him to his office.

“She’s a lovely woman,” said Remy Wilde, his oldest brother.

“Yes. Although when we got on the elevator with her, she almost didn’t know what to do. But she pulled it together and even introduced herself,”
Dubrinsky chuckled.

“She and Mia left together,” Remy said, the love for his wife evident in his voice.

“You’ll hear about dressing Mia and rushing her out so you all could be nosy and meet Nia on the way down in the elevator,” Darius said.

“I will, but I’ll use my powers of persuasion to make her forget about it.” Remy smiled wolfishly.

“I think she’s onto you, but lets you believe otherwise.” Darius laughed as he started his computer.

His brothers sprawled in the chairs in front of his desk.

“It works for us,” Remy said.

Darius wondered how long it would take for him and Nia to have that level of comfort. He chuckled at himself. So much for having patience. He was ready to move forward fast and get to the stage where they were comfortable with each other.

“Nia is a really beautiful woman,” Dubrinsky said.

Darius frowned. “I know. You all could have waited, and I would have gotten around to introducing you to her.”

“Hell, after eighteen days of dealing with your growly self, I wanted to see this woman up close and personal,” Dubrinsky said.

“Not too personal,” Darius warned.

“Possessive already. Boy, you are as gone as Remy was.” Dubrinsky rolled his eyes.

“You’ll understand when you meet a woman who makes you lose all sense,” Darius said, smiling. Then he spoke again. “Where’s Ashton? I’m surprised he wasn’t in on your nosiness.”

“He escorted them to the front door, then went back to bed.” Dubrinsky laughed.

Darius’ eyes widened. Ashton was usually behind the scenes and didn’t like to be around people at all. He was stoic and reserved. Darius crossed his arms over his chest.

“You all are going to scare her away.”

Nia was already skittish. He could only imagine meeting most of them in the elevator would have made her want to run even faster. Remy and Dubrinsky smirked, not looking at all apologetic.

“Get out. I need to work. I have a lunch date.” He made shooing motions.

“I wonder if she knows about this date,” Remy mused.

“She will when he gets there,” Dubrinsky said.

His brothers stood and left, laughing. Darius ignored them and got to work. After lunch, Nia would have to make a choice—keep running, or stand and see what they had. It was a good thing he was a patient man.

* * * *

“Slut. You are such a slut. And you met his family sneaking out of his apartment.” Nia clenched her fingers around the wheel of her car.

Last night had been explosive, hot, and sexy—but so foolish. And so against her usual style.

“It’s those damn eyes,” Nia said.

Darius’ eyes made all her sense go away. Couple that with his voice, and she was a goner. Attacking the man in the elevator had been…well, it had unleashed the wanton hussy side she hadn’t even known she had. It had been stupid. Not once but four times she had unleashed her stupidity. The man had stamina, taking her four times. And if she counted the first orgasm, then it was five times. No wonder she was tired and sore. Thoughts of what they had done for her to be this sore filled her. She wiped her sweating forehead. Fiddling with the air conditioner, she cursed, seeing that it was already on the highest setting.

Putting both hands on the wheel, she blew out a breath. Leaving like she had made her feel sneaky. But she couldn’t face him for the morning after. In the elevator, when she had spotted the three men, she had immediately known they were his brothers. They looked a lot alike. When she had got up the gumption to introduce herself, the one called Remy, who was the oldest, had smiled at her. He had eyes like Darius, although, in her opinion, Darius was sexier. Remy had introduced her to the woman with them, his wife. The woman’s look had been knowing and sympathetic.

The woman called Mia had put herself between Nia and the others. The other two were Ashton, who was younger than Darius, and Dubrinsky, who was the youngest brother. All the brothers were devastatingly handsome. Unlike Remy and Darius, who had blue eyes, Ashton’s eyes were violet. Against his hair, she had thought it was intriguing, at least until she’d met Dubrinsky’s two-toned gaze—one eye blue and the other violet. There was a sharp intelligence in his scrutiny. All the men had been friendly as they had headed towards what they had told her was the office area off the lobby.
