Sheila followed Honey into the room and they both stood as if ready for flight. Both were thinking this was some sort of trick and
Asa
must have discovered their plans to escape.

Dwight spoke as if talking to children, knowing this was frightening them out of their wits.

“Listen to me. I was given something which has made me invisible. I know you are scared to death but it really is me and I am going to take you home. So, now I am going to take your hands. Please do not be afraid.
”

He reached and took both of their hands and Sheila burst into tears and he let go of Honey’s hand to comfort her. “It is all going to be alright, now do not cry but thank God for working in mysterious ways. We have much to discuss. I have already found Jacks and we have a plan. I need you to listen and carefully follow my instructions.”

“Dwight, how is this even possible? We have seen much magic here but for you to show up invisible has got to be….this is just too weird! Can God do such things?”

Dwight smiled a smile they could not see but his answer was practical and believable. “There is nothing new under the sun. If we believe God is omnipotent, then we must believe he knows how to make a body be invisible
. Sometimes
,
we limit God and give all this power to
sat
a
n
.
If we can believe that the devil has all these powers, how much easier should we believe that our Father has more?
What I am trying to say here is that if evil people have powers that they use for evil, then how much more so are God’s powers to be used
for good? So come on
,
let us get our plans laid out for tomorrow. I hear we will have some company going home.”

Convinced that it really was Dwight who was there talking to them, they both eagerly told him everything. By the time he left, the girls understood exactly what to do and when.

Dwight’s work was not done however, so he was awake through the long night learning as much about how everything worked and figuring out how they would
fit all
the extra people on board the next plane out. While
Asa
and friends were having dinner
,
he mentioned that he was sending the plane back for one more person who
was to come for the special fiesta that was planned
that evening
.
If all went as planned they would be on that same plane.
He looked for and found the monitor that showed Honey and Sheila’s room. When it was time for the kids to get dunked in the prepared water he would pull a wire loose to make sure they were not spotted.

Morning came and with it came breakfast delivered to Honey and Sheila by one of the young people who had been reversed. Through her, the rest were alerted to make sure they all knew to make it a
point to visit their room before noon when the plane was due to
depert
for
Vegas. Dwight had found out that was where the pickup was
,
by listening in
on various
conversations during the night.
They would figure out the rest when they got back to civilization. He spent the hours before dawn on his knees praying to God for help and giving thanks for what He had already done.

                                                                                 THIRTY_SIX

With the rising of the sun came a new hope for Dwight and his friends as well as the nine young people who Honey had managed to reverse hypnosis on. One by one William and each of his friends made their way to Honey and Sheila’s room and one by one were immersed into the tub of water which would make them invisible. Honey made Sheila go before her as she wanted to make sure everyone else was done first. Then with clothes on, she too sank beneath the water and
became as they. She prayed that Jacks would not fail to meet them at the plane when it was time to leave.

Dwight whispered to the group of people who was gathered close to the plane and then he went to the far side and raised a door which provided room for luggage. He touched each person as they climbed in, to make sure all nine were in before he closed the door, praying no one saw the action on a monitor.

Sheila and Honey were next and slipped into the passenger side of the vehicle. Dwight looked nervously toward the opening that Jacks should already have come through and reluctantly he eased himself through the barely open door and pulled it
shut
. Jacks
’
was on his own and God help him
,
was Dwight’s prayer as the pilot appeared
, heading to the plane.

“Come on Jacks! Where are you?” Honey was worried and Sheila was finding it
hard
to
breath
e
from all the excitement.

“He will be here, he has to be.”

What they did not know was that as Jacks was about to meet them, he stumbled upon two of
Asa’s
friends and their conversation was so interesting he just had to stop and listen. When he got to the opening where the plane was, the pilot was already almost to it. There was no way to get into the plane without someone seeing the door open by itself and become suspicious. He uttered a profanity and immediately repented and with quick thinking
as the pilot opened his door, Jacks spoke out loud behind the backside of the plane. Just as he hoped, the man stopped and went around looking for the voice he was sure he heard. Not seeing anyone, he shrugged his shoulders and
returned to the plane’s door
, never guessing that he was not alone. Even when his gauges indicated that he was overweight, he dismissed it as a malfunction.

The passengers were very quiet as they sat comfortably in the plush seats. They hoped the young people were not too uncomfortable but they had no idea how happy William and his friends were to be on their way home. Dwight had expressed to them how dangerous it would be to talk about the experience
they had had
and they were to go home
say as little as possible about their abductions.

The plane landed on a private air strip and while the pilot took a break waiting for his passenger, the
stowaways,
he did not know he had, slipped out
,
too.

Making their way to the first hotel they came to Jacks eyed the pool and asked, “Is anyone ready for a….swim?”

Laughing, they all ran towards the pool and
jumped
in instantly becoming visible to each other and the few people who were surprised to see them all in the water with their clothes on.
Hugging and laughing they climbed out
,
rejoicing that they had escaped the clutches of the thing called
Asa

And when he saw that he was made a fool of, his
voice
of rage resounded throughout the mountains, causing all living things to cower with fear. For his time was drawing nigh and he showed no mercy on those he had secured within his grasp and doubling his efforts, he set out as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

over Lucifer’s final deception.
