Later in the day, wanting to spend time with the children and Aderac instead of chatting and drinking with the others, Belon made up some ridiculous reason to go to his chamber planning not to return, but when he walked inside, expecting immediately to hear the children’s lively voices, he heard nothing.

The chamber dark with flickers of light from candles glowing off the walls and ceiling. The smell of incense filling his nostrils, he inhaled deep taking in the pleasing scent of myrrh, as he slowly walked inside.

“Aderac,” he called out as, guided by the candlelight, he walked more inside, “Why is it so dark within and why do I smell incense?”

“We will have no need of much light,” Aderac answered from across the room, “And I know you enjoy how it smells.”

Belon walked to the closest table to put his sword down and loosened his belt and glancing over at Aderac as he did, noticed he was standing by the bed, instead of in it.

“Where are the children and why are you out of bed?” More questions as now put his belt down.

“The children are in the chamber next to ours and should be asleep,” he answered in a loving and soothing tone, “I told them you had much to do and would not be able to kiss them before bed.

    “And you out of bed?”

“I am out of bed,” Aderac’s reply, as now slowly he began to move forward towards Belon, “For the reason, I want to please you.”

As he now faced him, moved by how adoring he looked standing naked with his side tightly bandaged wanting to please him; knowing his ribs still hurt, he felt overcome.

“It is still to soon,” he said lovingly appreciative, as he walked to him and touched his face; then lifted his chin for him to look up at him, “I can wait and shall.”

“Belon,” Aderac said lovingly back, “It took great toil for me to groom and oil myself with no help, and these candles and incense I lit with my own hand for the reason of pleasing you.”

“Your smile; your words; your kisses; and your touch all please me,” Belon whispered, “You…”

Knowing he’d go on and on, Aderac cut his words short. “And you inside me shall as well.”

    Belon’s face showed his apprehensiveness.

“But Aderac,” he voiced concerned, “I know you are still in much pain.”

“Kiss me, my lion,” Aderac whispered, dismissing his worry.

Unable to resist his want for Aderac, Belon tenderly put his arms around him. “Such guilt I shall feel if somehow you hurt more from this.”

Far from worrying, as he tenderly kissed him, Aderac slowly began to undress Belon, but he stopped him. “I shall do it.”

Their eyes sparkling in the glow of the candles Aderac had lit, both said nothing as their bodies longed for the feel of the others.

“How shall we do this?” he questioned concerned, both now naked.

    “Sit.”

Obediently, Belon sat; then Aderac stood in front of him and again kissed him, before he straddled his lap.

“Now,” Aderac whispered, as he put his arms around his neck and tenderly kissed the bump on Belon’s head, “Use that great strength that is within my warrior’s arms to hold and thrust upward inside me.”

“Do not thrust back or move your hips, and stay still,” Belon said, as his strong hands grasped his small tight rear firmly, “I shall do it all.”

“Umm.” Aderac hummed delighted, “And you do it all so well.”

As Belon thrust upward into Aderac, he controlled himself moving slowly making certain not to bounce him, and as each looked at the other, they loving spoke.

“Sssss, Belon.” Aderac moaned first, as Belon’s slow sensual deep thrusts began to build within making him want to explode already, “Sssss, Belon. So in love I am with you.”

“I love hearing those words.” Belon moaned, as he looked at his face, “From my life, my love, and my all. You are my passion and my pleasure. Ah, my beloved Aderac. You are my passion and pleasure.”

Aderac unable to undulate to Belon’s rhythmic movements, made up for it in enthusiastic words and kisses, as his tongue titillated Belon’s palette.

“I shall release it.” Aderac finally hissed, as he felt his body about to seize and tremble within seconds.

“I will along with you,” Belon said, as his body, as always kept in harmony with Aderac’s, “Release it and cling to me, and I will take you to bed.”

Belon lifted Aderac, who still straddled his lap and took him to the bed, carefully putting him onto it when he did.

“I will not break,” he teased from how slowly he did it.

“No you will not,” Belon teased back, “For the reason, I am careful with what if broken cannot be replaced.”

“Aw, honey.” Aderac gushed, “So wonderful did that sound.”

Belon inwardly sighed; relieved his thrusting didn’t hurt Aderac’s ribs and that he was able to get him back to bed without incident.

“I shall clean us both,” he now lovingly said, relishing in every moment of doing for him.

“So loving you are to me,” Aderac whispered, as he watched Belon go to the basin.

After he cleaned Aderac, then himself, gently he climbed into bed and lovingly pulled close to him.

“Sleep peacefully, my life,” he whispered to him, as he put his arms around him.

“I shall,” Aderac whispered back, “In your arms.”

Now held in the chamber for days, Elgen opened the door to go talk to his Brother Lord Cadon, but when he did, two guilds stopped him.

“By word of the king,” one bluntly spoke for both, “No one is to enter or leave this chamber.”

“I want to see my brother,” Elgen insisted.

“By word of the king,” this time the other repeated, “No one is to enter or leave this chamber.”

“Am I a prisoner?” Elgen huffed.

“The king words were, you are held to the chamber that you be safe.”

Elgen scowled angered, and slammed the door; then huffed again in the chamber, as deep within his mind he began to wonder and worry if they knew.

In the chamber next to Elgen’s, but around the corner, Cadon now held to his bed had stuck the knife deeper than he intended and bleed badly, which left him weak.

After several days, finally able to stay on his feet when he got out of bed, he also tried to leave the chamber to go speak with his brother, but the guards stopped him just as they did Elgen.

Frustrated, he slammed the door, but as he sat, his mind searched for any clues he could have left that would uncover his deed, or if he spoke out of his head as he lay sleeping from lose of blood.

His instincts making him certain something was wrong or they suspected something, he knew somehow that he had to get a message to Augerd.

Chapter 49

O
n
his way to the cottage for the night, as Ovfren rode through the back courtyard, he happened to pass Enek out late practicing alone.

“You are out late,” he commented, unable to ride pass him without saying something.

“True,” Enek said, stopping for a brief moment to look up, “I am vying and want to be ready.”

“You are vying with the others?”

“Yes,” Enek answered, but spoke nothing of why or what Belon commanded.

Ovfren jumped down and pulled out his sword.

“I shall practice with you for a time,” he offered, “If you wish it.”

Enek held up his sword to him, as his agreement to practice, and as the two went back and forth across the courtyard, he nodded impressed with his skill.

“Someone has taught you well,” he complimented, as he sweated and breathed hard from moving back and forth across the courtyard.

“Ogorec,” Ovfren said, when he stopped to catch his breath.

“That name is known to me,” Enek said, as he thought, “Yet at this time, I cannot place it.”

“He is King Baric’s guard and first in command,” Ovfren offered, but said nothing of what Ogorec was to him.

“Ah.” Enek pursed his lips, “Then indeed, you should know well how fight from him.”

“How long have you been king’s command at Ivodgald?” Ovfren asked, making conversation to long his stay with him.

“For as long as I can remember,” Enek answered truthfully, “Just as was my father’s father, and my brother.”

“And how does the love of your life feel about you always away?”

“Well, if there was one.” Enek laughed to himself, “I am sure, she would not be pleased that I am always away.”

Silently, reveling because he had no loved one waiting for him, Ovfren again began sparring with him, and as he charged, Enek withdrew his knife as Ovfren held his sword high coming towards him.

As he did, he caught his arm, forced it behind his back, and brought him to his knees by kicking him in the back of it, before he dropped to his own knees, and put his knife to his throat.

“See,” Enek teased, “I could easily have slit your throat and you would be undone.”

Ovfren breathed in hard impressed by his agility. When he felt Enek breathe on his neck and smelled his masculine sweating flesh, it roused him, and like a wild animal, he literally wanted to bite on him while he rammed his organ inside him.

“Then such dread that would be,” he blurted, as he suddenly impulsively bit his neck, “For anything to be undone with us before it has even begun.”

Surprised by his actions and words, Enek quickly released him and hopped to his feet; then looked down at him oddly, but not angrily.

“What brought about such a bold and foolish deed?”

“Yes a foolish deed it was,” Ovfren admitted, as he now stood; then looked back at him, “That I long to do again.”

“What if I had sliced into your throat?” he questioned, “I have done such to men who have offended me for less.”

“Then either slice into me,” Ovfren boldly dared, “Or kiss me.”

Finding himself intrigued, Enek stepped backwards into the darkness out of the view of anyone and Ovfren eagerly step forward closer to him.

“Dare you make me now wonder what the stir is of a man inside a man and what pleasure could come from it?” he asked, as Ovfren now stood close in front of him, “One that before now, I did not care to wonder or know.”

“Then wonder no more and know.”

Saying nothing, he put his hand behind the back of Ovfren’s neck, then his lips to his, and when he did Ovfren more than enthusiastically put his arms around him.

As both kissed, as their breathing became more heavy, Enek took his hand from around Ovfren’s neck and put it around his rear, pulling him even closer and their bodies now rubbing, both felt the other’s shaft bulging wanting to break free and feel actual flesh.

“Stop,” he finally blurted, and pulled his lips from Ovfren’s, “A great leap this is and one I will not do without reasoning if I even should first.”

“From this kiss, is there now desire within you for me?” Ovfren hoped.

“I fear yes, and such is the surprise,” he admitted, “Though I know well of Grand Commander Belon and King Aderac’s love, such ways never once came to me until your kiss upon my neck.”

    “Kiss me again,” Ovfren whispered.

“No,” Enek said refusing, but as Ovfren stood, he didn’t walk away from him.

“Kiss me,” Ovfren whispered, “Let me feel your lips again to mine.”

Enek looked at him, as again, Ovfren made him wonder, and without any time to deny him, suddenly Ovfren’s lips where to his and he didn’t pull away.

“Uuhhhh,” Enek pleasingly groaned into Ovfren’s mouth, as again he kissed him back, “Dare you be able to tempt me in such a way.”

“Dare I desire you,” Ovfren confessed when finally their lips parted, “When my eyes fell to you.”

Pleased by how he spoke, Enek wanted to pull him close again, but didn’t.

“Go now,” he affirmed again, but this time held up his arm making sure to keep at least arms’ length between them, “Such a deed I will not leap into without reasoning.”

Ovfren inhaled, as he backed more away, but as did, he spoke his undoubting resolve.

“Your lips to mine were our first and our bodies pressed our second, and we inside each other shall be our third. And you shall wonder no more and know the pleasure of me and want me, as I want you,” before he turned and walked away.

Again, the next night, when Ovfren rode in for the night, by chance he passed Enek out practicing, but this time Ovfren only stopped in front of him, and watched instead of getting down.

When Enek noticed him, he said nothing as he moved back and forth across the courtyard, until he stopped he catch his breath. “You watch me, yet you have not gotten off your horse.”

“You have not asked,” Ovfren simply replied.

    Enek chuckled.

“I have angered you from the night before,” he said casually, “I can see it on your face and hear it in your words.”

“You did not,” Ovfren said, but turned his head from him.

    “Then vie with me.”

“I cannot, I am late as it is and should get to my cottage.”

Enek let out a disappointed sigh. “If you must.”

Ovfren nodded; then pulled on his horse’s reins to go, but as he did, he stopped and turned his head to Enek, who still stood watching him.

“Do you still need to reason about me as you did the night before?”

Enek lifted his chin to speak in a tone filled with certainty. “Last night before my eyes closed I wondered how it would feel to push hard and long deep inside you until you begged me to stop. It made me so stiff I could not lie on my stomach to sleep.”

From his words, Ovfren blushed and began to ride back towards him, but as did when he looked pass him and saw Belon walking his way from the other side of the courtyard, stopped.

“I must leave,” Ovfren abruptly said; then spurred his horse away, and surprised by his hasty departure, Enek looked dumbfounded.

“Enek,” Belon called out, when he got closer to him, “I have been looking for you.”

    “I was practicing.”

Belon looked at Enek, then at the horse trotting away. “Who rode away?”

“One of your high guild’s name Ovfren practiced with me,” Enek answered thinking nothing of it, “And I gather this night came to practice with me again. I shall confess now that my eyes see him in another way, he is handsome.”

Belon made a loud gulp. “What do you mean?”

“He favors me,” Enek answered, “And made it known to me.”

Enek knew at once that his words displeased him, because Belon stood in front of him with an expression as if he was standing barefoot on shards of jagged rocks.

“Why do you look at me that way?”

“Deny him,” he bluntly replied. “And see him no more.”

“I have done nothing with him.”

“Good and let it be as that,” he said, as he began to walk away.

“You did not speak why?” Enek asked, now curious as he followed him, “You have never spoke or cared of such matters with me.”

“You have never shown you have a way as that,” Belon stopped and replied, “Yet, if you are now wondering, you will not find out with that one.”

    “Why?”

“Do not question me, just do as I command,” Belon said, and so intense was the look on his face that in all the years that he served under him, only once before had he seen it; which was when he feared Aderac was in danger.

“I obey your commands in matters of all things of Ivodgald, and am loyal to you as your friend as well,” Enek had to assert, “But you are not my father, and with matters of my life, loves, and passions, I command them and not you.”

Belon huffed and he knew Enek was right, but didn’t want to go into the long sordid details of why he wanted him to stay away from Ovfren.

“Then as my friend,” Belon now asked, “I ask that you deny Ovfren and see him no more?”

“So bet it,” Enek agreed, as his friend and didn’t question him again.

On the night before the set vie, Baric ordered a lavish feast for the celebration with dancing, drinking, and merriment and although, Belon wanted Aderac to remain in bed, kept his word, and he and Aderac joined the others in the king’s great hall.

“Ah,” Baric said pleasantly when he saw Aderac, who was formally dressed with Ivodgald’s sash around his shoulder, slowly walk in “I am pleased to see my cousin out of the chamber, and up and about again.”

“As I,” Aderac said pleasantly, slightly leaning on Belon, who was right beside him.

Right away, Baric stood and introduced Aderac to King Gegorad, and although, leaving a bad taste in his mouth, Lord Elgen and Lord Cadon, who he had allowed out of their chambers, but had closely watched.

“This is my cousin King Aderac of Ivodgald,” Baric introduced.

Aderac nodded, showing them the respect shown fellow king and lords.

“I am glad you are mending well,” King Gegorad’s pleasant reply, “I know you suffered much just as Lord Cadon, who lost his brother and king has from the evil deeds of the Segorans.”

“I have,” Aderac said, as he slightly smiled, “But, am better now.”

“King Aderac,” Lord Cadon almost to cheerfully said, “When I mend, I would enjoy seeing Ivodgald - after
mourning
my brother of course.”

“I have heard of the splendor of your kingdom,” Elgen added, “And if granted would enjoy it as well.”

“Ivodgald will welcome you,” Aderac said hospitable, “Any time you wish to come.”

As both spoke, Loth commented sarcastically to Laad. “Their brother has been slain and all that concerns them is seeing Ivodgald.

Belon, disgusted by the very sight of them, became annoyed and interrupted their conversation.

“Come,” he said, as he ushered him away and around the table chair, “You have walked and stood long enough. It is time to sit and rest again.”
