“Little girl, did you hear me?” He tipped my chin up to him.

“Yeah.” My voice cracked, throat dry. I swallowed and tried again, “Yes, heard you. I’m to make myself come, thinking of you making yourself come, thinking of me.” I pressed myself into his chest. “But, Xander…”

But
? How does that usually end, little girl?” The menace was delicious and sent chills up my spine. I tilted my head back to look in his eyes as I lifted to my toes and licked his lips.

I whispered against his mouth, “But all week, I’ve touched myself to fantasies of you over me, pounding me into the bed, fucking me so hard, so good.” I ran my fingers over his neck, into his hair. “I miss you inside me.”

“Little girl,” his growl was a warning.

“I want you in my mouth so hard and so long that you leave me with chapped lips.” I pulled back again, looking into his eyes. “Will you fuck my mouth like that?”

“Fuck, Leda. You’re killing me.”

“You’re on my home turf tonight. I’ll be on yours tomorrow.” I kissed him softly, one more time before turning to head back inside. “Goodnight, Boss.”

His goodnight was just a deep groan, but I got a text message before I made it to my bedroom.

You’re going to pay for that. You know that right?—X

Yeah? Well, that might have been my goal…XXOOFFFFF—L

There was a long delay before his reply and I thought I was in trouble.

I’m checked in at the Westin, if you need anything tonight.—X

Really? That’s it? And btw…there’s a whole bunch I need tonight. We just covered that—L

Yes we did. You’re working on some punishment and we have a lot of time together in the next few days. You know what I want you to do tonight. I’m getting started now.—X

One-handed texting now.—L

I’m thinking of your skin under my hands, your mouth on me.—X

I’m thinking of being tied on your bed, stretched out tight, ice cubes in my mouth—L

I’m thinking of fucking your ass in front of a mirror so I can see your face when you stretch out to take me—X

My fingers traced my skin, so wet, spreading my lips apart and pressing into my clitoris. The thought of his cock in my ass was mouth-watering and terrifying at the same time.

Well, now I’m thinking of that too. So tight and full.

I’m thinking of tying you up and cutting your clothes off you. Spanking your ass, my hands on your throat.

I pressed into myself, harder, more insistent. It was such a poor substitute for being with him, but I was getting close.

I’m so close. I want you, on me, in my mouth. Please 2moro?

Yes. So good, little girl

I came at yes. Thanks. :) L

Me, too. –X

There was a pause for a few minutes before I got one more text from him.

I’m thinking of you trusting me.—X

I do trust you.—L

I wanted to say ‘I love you’, ‘I always want to be near you’ and all the other crushy things people say when they’re enthralled with someone. And dammit, I was so enthralled, taken over, subsumed. In love with him.

He picked me up at noon, on the dot. Once through to the gate, we were able to immediately board and wait for our flight on the supremely comfortable plane. We waited for less than twenty minutes for the Senator’s sister. She flowed onto the plane, processed, coifed blonde hair, oversized sunglasses and a fur wrap. I immediately felt like a complete slob in my leggings, boots and oversized sweater

Xander stood and smiled. “Mrs. Ivory. Thank you for allowing us to hitch a ride.”

A young woman trailed after her, carrying lots of things and behaving deferentially. I assumed an assistant. Then a gentleman, there is no other word for a man in his sixties, fit, dressed in an immaculately tailored suit. He brushed past Mrs. Ivory, his hand grazing her butt, which triggered a slight smirk from her.

“Oh, Alex! Why are you so formal? I’ve known you forever. Of course, you can fly with us. Now introduce me to Leda.”
First, Alex? Second, she knew my name
? I would be revisiting all of this at a later time with Alex…Xander…
Alexander
?

He had the grace to grimace slightly, knowing that I would have questions for him. “Mrs. Bitsy Ivory, please meet Leda Collins. Leda, this is Mrs. Ivory, Senator Noe’s sister.”

She was thin, but her presence was huge. She took her sunglasses off and she had clearly been Botoxed and lifted and stretched, but not ridiculously so.

“Leda, a pleasure to meet you. I’m not sure how Alex roped you into this.”

Literally, Bitsy. He literally roped me at one point.

She continued, “We
have
to go, family support and all that. I’ve taken a few Xanax to get through the flight. Do either of you need one?”

Weirdly hospitable
. “Nice to meet you and thank you again. I appreciate being included, because he did kind of rope me in.” There was a seriously bleak moment when she looked at me blankly, and I heard a small croak from Xander, before she laughed and I laughed with her, adding, “I know it’s routine for you, but I’m excited. I haven’t been to DC since my eighth grade class trip.”

She smiled at us, turning to Xander. “She’s sweet, Alex. A little young, but then again, I’m fifteen years younger than John. Either way, don’t fuck this one up.” On the tail of that jarring statement, she turned from us, calling, “John, come be pleasant and say hello to Alex. You should meet Leda.”

Mr. Ivory looked up and nodded, giving the
one second
finger gesture, as he finished a phone call. A few moments later he joined us, shaking Xander’s hand.

“Mr. Ivory, this is my girlfriend, Leda Collins. Leda this is Mr. John Ivory.”

We shook hands, and his gaze lingered on my chest. I thought
, oh, so you’re an old perv, whose wife is rapidly becoming more sedated
. Bitsy was indeed looking droopy. He handed her a crystal highball with amber liquid that I assumed was scotch and she gulped it down.

Smiling again, though with lids at half-mast, she answered my unspoken concern, “I have a terrible fear of flying, Leda. Just hate it. And I figure, there are two doctors on the plane.” Her tongue was starting to sound a little thick, and John guided her farther back in the plane by her elbow. She took off her fur and gave it to the assistant. She was painfully thin underneath, far more so than I had thought when she still had the bulky wrap on. I was concerned on a whole new level about the Xanax and alcohol.

Once we were in the air, Xander turned to me. “So…about my name. It’s actually Alexander. I have gone by Xander since I was fourteen.” He cringed a moment. “Sorry I didn’t tell you that.”

“Anything else I should know?” I took a deep breath. “I mean it
is
really weird to have had you…in me, and just now find out that I haven’t actually known your name.”

He shrank a moment then, he changed. The Dom Xander looked back at me, hard eyes, set jaw, but he said nothing for a long moment.

“Do you regret it?” His voice was cold, flat.

“Christ, no, Xander. I just feel a little kept in the dark with you sometimes.”

“You like being in the dark with me.” His voice shifted to the low purr that I loved, but I wasn’t gonna bite.

“So, can I call you Alexander now? It’s so upper crust sounding. Like where’s your yacht,
Alexander?
Where are you summering this year,
Alexander
, Europe or the Cape?” I put on affected voice that was truly very similar to Bitsy’s. His face blanked with surprise at my sass and I dissolved into giggles. “Xander, I don’t really care, I guess. It’s not like you know everything about me.” I stood, intending to find the restroom, but he grabbed my wrist.

“Where are you going?”

It wasn’t like him to be anxious like that. “The bathroom. Where else could I go?”

“Be careful.” There was a distracted, kind of stormy look on his face.

Trying to figure that out distracted me as I walked back to the rear of the plane. I noticed Bitsy draped over a long couch, asleep. And I walked directly into something, tall and firm, smelling expensive and male. I snapped my head around and was looking into John Ivory’s buttons. I looked up at his face and he smiled down at me, but didn’t step back. Something about it was a little charming, but he was older than my dad and his wife was unconscious a few feet from us and my boyfriend was here too. And it got gross in a hurry.

“Excuse me, Leda.” He brushed past me, a little closer than necessary. But then I was past him, walking again, eyes on my path now.

When I stepped out of the bathroom, Xander was there, waiting for me. There was no way he’d missed the close call with Ivory. With a forced calm to his voice, he suggested, “Let’s get a drink.”

There was a small galley kitchen stocked with refreshments. I decided on water. I wanted all my faculties. There were some weird vibes on this plane. I flashed to a mental image of Samuel L Jackson shouting, “There are some weird motherfucking vibes on this weird motherfucking plane” and cracked a smile.

One eyebrow cocked, Xander asked, “Something funny, Leeds?”

“Hard to explain, the inner monologue is hilarious sometimes. And more to the point, who said you get to call me Leeds,
Alex
?” I answered with a laugh.

He released a little tension from his shoulders and brushed a kiss across my temple as he took my elbow to lead me back to our seats. It was exactly the same gesture that John had used with Bitsy earlier. I allowed myself to be guided and found that I liked it. He felt like an anchor in the best sense of the word.

Once we were seated, I asked, “Why did Bitsy know my name before you introduced us?”

“Security protocols. The Senator gets a lot of death threats, so everyone getting close to him or his family has to be cleared by their private security team. There was an actual foiled assassination attempt few years ago. Someone got a package though security to his office, back when all those white powder anthrax threats were being made by mail. So, that freaked everyone out a bunch.”

“Naturally. Was anyone hurt?” This is what his world has always been.

“No, fortunately. But what these shitheads don’t get is that it was the lowliest assistant opening the mail and sorting it for the office. She’s the one who would have died. Dumb fucks.”

Our conversation meandered from there for the rest of the flight, which was relatively uneventful. We arrived in DC and thanked the Ivory’s again as we deplaned, promising to see them at the fundraiser. They got into a waiting limo. Bitsy was a little unsteady, but still breathing, so I counted that a plus.

Chapter Thirty-Seven

Once we were through the airport parking, out on the road, I started heading toward my parents’ house, on the far side of DC. I was still pissed about John’s behavior. He was disgusting, a sick pervert. And I wanted to protect Leda from that. Forever. And what was I doing? I was taking her right into the middle of it.

“What’s up with you right now?”

I glanced at her when her question pulled me from my thoughts.

“You’ve been really quiet.”

I answered, trying to keep the banked anger from my tone. “My mind is just rehashing things. John is such a fucked-up old pervert. I saw him staring at your chest and your ass. He just pissed me off. As much as Bitsy is a lushy old MILF, she deserves more respect than he gives her and, well, clearly you’re mine.”
For fuck’s sake.
“It just pissed me off, but he’s a billionaire, married to my dad’s boss’s sister and the biggest campaign supporter Noe has.” I paused, but she didn’t respond, so I kept going. “Truthfully, I don’t really want to be here. I want to be holed up somewhere, just you and me.”

“Oh.”

There was a pause. What could she really even say to all that? She wasn’t prepared for what we were walking into. Stacy was right. And, that…that more than anything, pissed me off. But Leda kept talking, a smile on her face, despite all that shit.

“My family loved you, you know. They all thought you were great.”

I smiled, but didn’t answer. Perhaps sensing how tense I was about this situation, she asked me to prep her some. I explained about my Dad’s career, how he’d become Noe’s right hand man. How it had destroyed what was probably a loving relationship between my parents. And I finished by explaining how things were now between them. I wanted to be open with her, wanted her to know everything about me, even knowing I’d never tell her
everything.

She responded with a comment about my mother possibly being fulfilled by her relationship with my dad, comparing it to our kink. “Maybe they worked it out. To each their own, right? I’m sure some of my girlfriends from college would be appalled at the shit I let you do to me, but—”

I cut her off. “
Let
me do to you? Try again.” The frustration and fear churning in me funneled into the words and I wanted her. I wanted her on her knees, taking whatever I gave her. There was no
let
about it.

She sucked her fat lower lip into her mouth and started to fidget. Her breathing was shallower and her voice quiet when she answered. “Okay, Boss. If my friends knew about all my new experiences with you and that I
want
it to happen, again and again, they’d probably think I was crazy. But the point is they can’t judge me—or us—because they aren’t living our lives.”

As much as she was probably making a valid and important point, I could only focus on one part of what she said. “You want it to happen,
again and again
?” S

he nodded, that sexy apprehension making her eyes go wide.

“Mmm, good. Because you need more.” I grabbed my cell off the dash and one-touch dialed my mom.
