Tori kissed Holly right back. “Poor kitty,” she said, rolling off Holly. She got up and unzipped her case.

Holly yawned, reaching her arms above her head. “And now we’ve got this holiday out the way and we know we can survive, should we plan the next one?” She turned up her grin at Tori.

“Look at you, Miss ‘I Love Holidays’ all of a sudden.” Tori paused. “I’m going to digest this one before we book another.” She picked up the fake Gucci belts they’d bought as gifts for their mums.

Holly’s eyebrows shot upwards. “Are we finally doing the
50 Shades
thing?” she asked, pointing at them. “It’s a bit late, but I’m game.”

Tori laughed, before unravelling one and whipping Holly once. The belt hissed before it connected, but it wasn’t on naked skin, so it didn’t have the satisfying thwack she was after.

“When I do it for real, you won’t be laughing quite so much,” Tori said, raising an eyebrow at Holly. “When I’ve finished with you, the cheeks on your face won’t be the only ones blushing.”

Holly blushed a deeper shade of red. “I’ll look forward to it.”

“Put it in your diary,” Tori said, with a wink. “But back to our holiday — we should book somewhere, but perhaps for the later in the year. There’s too much else going on before then, what with two weddings this summer, and I told Trudi we’d be on her float at Pride this year, too.”

“She’s got a float?”

“She does.”

“What’s the theme? And FYI, I’m not dressing up as a superhero.”

“I think you’d look gorgeous in Lycra,” Tori said, crawling back onto the bed and on top of Holly. “Would you wear Lycra if I begged you?”

A slow smile spread across Holly’s sharp features. “I can’
t think of many things I wouldn’t do if you begged me,” she replied.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

I’ve loved writing Tori & Holly’s story so far, and am looking forward to writing the rest of their story this year — watch out for All I Want For Summer and All I Want For Autumn this year, and a final book in the New Year.

I’ve got some brilliant friends and colleagues who helped me along the way, and an army of fabulous readers who encourage me to keep on writing. If you’re one of those people, thank you so much — your support means the world to me.

Particularly, thanks to my beta readers Tammara Adams, Angela Peach, Rachel Batchelor and Hilary Sangster. Your feedback made all these stories better, as well as telling me when I was making up words or just plain using the wrong ones. Thanks also to my wife Yvonne for being my first reader, and for always pointing out when I’ve reached peak cheese.

Huge plaudits to my talented cover designer Kevin Pruitt for keeping his cool in the face of my panic! Oodles of thanks also to my typesetter and networking husband, Adrian McLaughlin. And a tip of the hat to my story editor Laura Kingsley for kicking my butt, and to Gill Mullins for her brilliant copy editing.

But mostly, thanks to you for reading this book and supporting my work. Writers can’t be writers without readers, so thanks a million. I hope you enjoy the first three books of Tori & Holly!
