He looked down to ensure he wasn’t too rough and her beautiful hazel eyes caught his, alight with desire. Their gaze never broke as she took everything he gave, giving back equally.

“That feels too fucking good, kitten. I can’t hold back.” He couldn’t remember ever coming so fast, but she’d had him so wound up with her hands and mouth all over his body. Her touch was pleasure he knew only Analise could deliver. He was seconds away, the base of his spine tingling, and he wanted to give her the chance to pull back, but instead her suction increased and she bobbed her head up and down faster.

“Come,”
she demanded silently, eyes blazing into his.

Her command was like a siren’s song, pulling his seed roughly from low in his balls until it hit the back of her throat. She swallowed quickly, never missing a beat. Never breaking eye contact. Never letting up until he was completely spent.

Every muscle in his body felt weak. He was boneless as he sagged back against the plush pillows.

He felt cleansed.

He felt healed.

He felt reborn.

Analise had crawled up his body to snuggle and with great effort he wrapped his arm around her, holding her tightly to him. They were comfortably quiet for several minutes.

“Thank you,” he rasped.

“Ditto,” she softly replied. She was an incredibly amazing creature that he did not deserve. But fuck if he was going to give her back either. She was his.

He couldn’t fight the pull of sleep that beckoned him, his last thought of how he was going to protect the precious thing he now held in his arms from the evils that lurked in the night, waiting to snatch her away.

Analise

Damian surprised her with another evening out to
Grina
, but this time she was the main attraction. She was five minutes from stepping on stage to sing in the underground, or
Grina Bi
, as Damian referred to it. Nerves ate at her stomach like termites devouring a pile of decaying wood. He’d sprung this on her as they lay in front of the fire so she hadn’t had much time to prepare, albeit she was singing a short set. She was always nervous before she sang, but it was doubly so tonight as Damian’s attention would be one hundred percent on her.

After a brief nap earlier, they’d spent a couple of hours simply lying in each other’s arms talking. She’d told him about her guardian angel, which turned out to be her mother. His only comment was,

Stranger shit has happened
.”
In his world, she guessed it did.

While lying in each other’s arms was heavenly, she was also anxious to complete the bonding process with him, but he was insistent they wait until after she sang so he could spend the rest of the night worshipping her. They’d driven here again, but he’d already prepared her that after her set was over, they were flashing back to his place because he “wasn’t going to wait forty-five more fucking minutes to ravage her body and make her his
.”
She was so happy, it would take a stick of dynamite to wipe the sappy smile from her face.

Damian was far more damaged than she’d realized. She didn’t know if he’d ever tell her the full story, and quite frankly she wasn’t sure she wanted to know. She took a risk by pushing him, but in the end he’d had a breakthrough, even enjoying her touch. As damaged as she was, she felt giddy at the thought that
she
could help begin Damian’s healing process. She could physically see brightness around him that hadn’t been there before.

She’d picked only four songs to sing this evening, two of them she’d not performed before, but selected just for Damian. Against his protests, he’d brought her early so she could practice a couple of times with the house band before she actually performed live. One was a duet and she’d absolutely needed to practice so she didn’t make a fool of herself.

It was time. She took a deep breath and took the stage. Her first two songs went quickly. Damian stood in the back of the club, his heated eyes never wavering from hers. When she began her third song, Evanescence’s “Bring Me To Life,” she saw his body tense, holding back the effort to come throw her down on the stage and take her right there. She’d chosen that song because the words called to her, just like Damian had. He’d brought her back to life, saving her from the nothing she’d become. Her final song, “Nights in White Satin”, was her love anthem to Damian. She began singing, pouring every ounce of emotion she felt into the words.

She’d only gotten through the first verse when he pushed his large frame from the wall and started stalking slowly toward the stage. He moved with such grace, such ease, it was hypnotic. He was an animal on the prowl and she was most definitely the prey. The fire in his eyes burned with such intensity she could feel the heat they threw all the way from across the room. A shiver of anticipation ran through her as he closed the distance between them.

She was on the last chorus by the time he’d reached her and once again, the world narrowed to the two of them. Everyone else faded away and she poured her whole being into the sultry song she sang only for him. Passion emanated from his every pore, weaving a sensual haze around them that shimmered and glowed so bright, it was blinding. Her body was nothing but white-hot energy, feeding off the life source standing in front of her.

When she finished her last note, he gently reached out his hand, the gesture in complete contrast to the raging need she felt rolling off him in drowning waves. He helped her off the stage and surprised her with a soft, gentle kiss right there on the dance floor.

He tenderly cupped her cheeks in his rough hands, looking deeply into her soul. “You own me, Analise. Every breath, every thought, every beat of my heart.” His voice was strained, rough, raw. “I need to make you mine. Right. Now.”

Hot tears sprang up, threatening to spill. No moment had ever been so perfect. All she could do was nod before the dizzying effects of flashing consumed her. Seconds later her back was pressed up against the cold bay window in Damian’s living room and he was plundering her mouth with such ferocity she was sure she’d be bruised. Like she gave a shit…she planned to give a few bruises of her own.

As his mouth worked her over, his hands were everywhere…unzipping, tugging and pulling her dress off, revealing deep red lingerie underneath. She’d chosen her undergarments with care and purpose. Tonight they would complete their bonding with the exchange of blood and the silky red bra and panties set called to her the moment she’d opened her drawer.

“You are so perfect, kitten. So perfect,” he muttered between kisses. Her breathing was shallow and erratic as he unhooked her bra, letting it fall down her arms to the floor. Her sex was dripping from her desire as he hooked his fingers in her panties, slowly drawing them down her legs. She was now standing completely naked against the glass window and while they were high in the air, so were several other buildings. Could anyone see in?

“Privacy windows. No one can see your delectable body pressed against the glass, I can assure you of that. I don’t share what’s mine.” From his squatting position, he spread her legs and took a single finger, running it through her slick folds. He groaned, “Fuuuck, you are drenched.” He slowly brought the wet digit to his mouth and sucked it clean.
Oh my God, that was so hot
. Damian was sex incarnate, his lack of inhibitions liberating.

She sucked in a sharp breath when his talented mouth replaced his finger, nibbling and licking with fervor. Pleasure coursed through her as he speared his tongue in and out of her slick channel. He spread her nether lips with his hands, while applying light pressure to her clit with his thumb. It wasn’t enough.

Her head fell back against the glass and she moaned in pleasure. “More, more,” she begged. The anticipation of tonight had her on the precipice of an orgasm since she’d dressed for the evening. So when Damian thrust two fingers into her while suckling her clit, she immediately detonated. An explosion of lights ignited behind her eyelids as pure bliss radiated outward from her core. His name fell like a mantra from her lips while she convulsed with pleasure. He brought her down slowly, never taking his mouth from her until every last shudder stopped.

He rose and started to disrobe, the moonlight that shone through the windows casting an ethereal glow around him. His bright eyes locked with her heavy-lidded ones, the promise of insanely intense pleasure hung heavy in the air. Damian had produced a long, black ribbon from his back pocket before he dropped his pants. He radiated hot, sinful masculinity and if she didn’t get him inside her this instant, she was going to spontaneously combust.

“Damian, please. Make me yours.” She felt empty, aching with need, her body vibrating with passionate lust. She automatically offered her hands, palms up, waiting for him to bind her with the silk. She loved to touch him, but tonight…tonight she
wanted
to be bound for his pleasure. He gifted her with such a bright smile it lit up her insides like the Fourth of July.

“Behind your back, kitten. It’s safer that way in case blood lust takes you.” She nodded her acquiescence and he bound her quickly. “Let me know if you’re in any discomfort.”

“Okay,” she murmured. The only discomfort she was in right now was the aching need for his cock and the sting of his bite.

“Legs around my waist,” he rasped as he lifted her hips. She’d do anything he asked. If he’d told her to squat on the floor and quack like a duck, she would do it.

“I’m sorry, kitten, I can’t be gentle. I’ve waited too long for this. For you.” With that, he seated himself inside her with one hard thrust and instantly set a punishing pace, bringing her close to the edge again almost immediately. She marveled at the sense of belonging and wholeness she felt when he was inside of her. Their mouths were fused so tightly together, it would take a welding torch to part them.

“I love you, Damian.”

“And I you, Analise.”

“I want to be your mate. I want to worship you for all of eternity.”

The noise torn from his throat could only be called animalistic as he left her mouth, latching onto her neck instead. He sucked hard, his teeth grazing and teasing. A trail of fire followed his lips as he kissed his way to her breast. A sharp bite of pain caused her to cry out before her body exploded in utter bliss. Shooting stars pierced the blackness of her eyelids and she felt herself floating between space and time.

Her orgasm was unceasing and a warm, coppery taste unexpectedly met her lips. At the first drop, she felt hunger so powerful the pain was nearly crippling. The only thing that could satisfy the famine was her mate’s lifeblood. Latching onto Damian’s wrist, she held it tightly to her mouth like he might take it away any second. She drank in earnest; the spicy flavor filled her mouth and cooled the hot flames burning deep in her belly. It was sheer ecstasy. Unimaginable hedonism. And with each pull she felt stronger, consummate, invincible.

Everything around her became sharp and clear. It was like she’d been living in a thick, dense fog her entire life and it had finally lifted. Like she’d been eating tofu and had now been introduced to prime rib. Colors were brighter, sounds were louder, her senses sharper and unfettered.

Damian’s blood was an aphrodisiac. She’d never get enough in a dozen lifetimes. She could vaguely hear Damian shouting as his thrusts became almost brutal. The pleasure of his climax coursed through her veins like a freight train as she felt the hot spurts of his release bathing her insides. Her body and soul felt scattered to the wind as she broke into a million pieces.

She was born anew.

Repaired.

Resurrected.

Truly alive for the first time. She became aware of softness on her skin and realized they were now in Damian’s bedroom.
Their
bedroom. He was gently rubbing her now freed wrists. When she managed to crack her eyes open, the vision staring back at her was surreal. Damian had a bright hue of red surrounding his dark, magnificently sexy nude body.
His aura
. He was utterly splendid.

“You’re staring,” he quipped.

“You’re beautiful,” she replied, smiling dumbly at him. He gifted her with a glorious smile in return that she would never tire of.

“How do you feel, kitten?” He’d moved his ministrations up to her shoulders now and between the amazing sex, blood and the massage, she felt sleepy.

“Deliriously happy,” she settled for. Everything else she felt paled in comparison to how unequivocally content she was at this moment.

“You’re mine now,” he crooned in her ear. “Mine to command, mine to cherish, mine to love.”

“I will concur with the last two, but only to the first in the bedroom, vampire.” She turned her head slightly, meeting his mouth for a gentle kiss. “I love you, Damian.”

He gathered her into his arms and settled them under the silky soft sheets. “And I you, kitten. Now get some sleep because I’ll be ready to make love to my new mate again in very short order.”

He kissed her softly and with a goofy grin plastered on her face, she let the healing sleep take her under, never feeling safer or more loved.

Damian

They’d returned to Milwaukee two days ago, Analise’s meeting with the witch, Maeve had been postponed until this evening. She was nervous about it but excited at the same time. He would be with her the entire time, not trusting Maeve as far as he could spit. He may trust and love Analise, but that was as far as his tolerance for witches would ever go.

Blood tests taken by Big D yesterday confirmed his suspicions. Analise was, in fact, the daughter of Xavier. And Kate’s sister. Damian really needed to call Dev. He couldn’t put it off any longer. Not only did he need to update him on what had gone down the past few days, Kate also deserved to know she had a sister. He was sure they would insist on coming back immediately, cutting their honeymoon short, and for that he felt bad, but it was the right thing to do. He was sorely remiss in not calling him already and he made a vow to do it. Tomorrow.
