After a few minutes of quiet drifting, she said, “You
know…if you could bottle this feeling up and sell it, you’d make millions.”

“Nah,” Fritz murmured. “This is one of those special things
you want to be selfish about.”

Dropping a kiss to her throat, he untied the strings of her
top. She cracked one eye open.

“Tryin’ to scare the fish, cowboy?”

Fritz pulled the scrap of fabric away from her body and
tossed it toward the bank where it landed with a wet plop. He drew his
fingertips from the hollow of her throat down to her bellybutton, tracing the
center of her body. “Shh. Lie back and enjoy it. We don’t have to do anything.
I like looking at you.”

“What if I
wanted
to do something?” she asked,
tightening her legs around his hips.

“We’ve got all afternoon to play.” He pinched a nipple,
already hard from the cold water, then warmed it with his mouth. Kai sighed at
the familiar pulse between her thighs, the brush of his semi-hard cock against
her sex. The fact that he could get any sort of erection in this water
temperature was impressive.

The approaching rumble of a truck’s engine jerked Kai out of
her lust stupor. She sat upright, sinking down until the water touched her
chin, then ducked behind Fritz’s body.

“Who is that?” she asked.

“Don’t panic. It’s just Eli.”

Sure enough, Eli’s big blue pickup rolled into the clearing
and stopped beside Fritz’s truck. Eli sat for a minute, staring through the
windshield at them, the radio blaring a country song loud enough she could make
out the words. The music died when he cracked open the door.

“Christ, does he have some sort of radar that goes off when
we’re in this exact spot and naked?”

Fritz laughed and turned around to face her, cupping her
cheek in one palm. The playful expression on his face turned into something
else she couldn’t decipher. He almost looked nervous, but that couldn’t be it.
“I asked him to come.”

“Why would you do that?”

When one corner of his mouth curved wickedly, she
understood.

“Oh.” The shock from the water temperature paled in
comparison to what she was feeling at Fritz’s surprise.

Chapter Fifteen

Fritz watched Kai’s face for any signs of disgust over what
he was implying they do with Eli. He waited for an angry outburst or an
indication she was about to punch him in the nose for being so presumptuous. Or
that she would take her chances and walk home, never to speak to him again. But
all he saw was apprehension as she chewed her bottom lip and pondered the idea
of being shared by two men, her arms still crossed over her bare breasts. Her
eyes kept darting from him to Eli, now casually propped against the front
bumper of his truck, waiting for Fritz’s signal.

Eli had been down this road before, sharing women with Sage
a few times and Tucker at least once, but Fritz had never taken Eli up on the
invites. It wasn’t that he found the idea unappealing; it was just that the
right mix of participants hadn’t been there for him. He’d never been one for
wild, all-night sex romps with random women either, so he’d taken a pass.

The seed had been planted the night of Eli’s birthday party.
When Eli scooped Kai up in his arms and kissed her on the cheek, he knew there
was genuine chemistry between them. Always had been. Not the kind that made him
nervous about Eli stealing her away, or that she would go. Just that they liked
each other as friends, and he knew Eli was attracted to Kai physically, maybe
her to him as well. Neither one of his brothers had ever been called ugly.

He trusted Eli, and the thought of sharing Kai with him,
watching them together, made something dark and dirty unfurl inside his lizard
brain.

She’d gone so quiet and still he could hear the faint
ticking of Eli’s truck engine as it cooled. Hear the meager breeze rustling the
leaves on the trees and the movement of the water as it slid around them.

“He’s done this before?” she asked.

“A few times, yes.”

“And you…”

“Never.”

“Oh.” She paused, processing that tidbit of information. “Is
he…healthy?”

“He’s had all his shots.” Fritz smiled, trying to unwind her
a bit. “It’ll still be standard protocol, though. I brought protection.”

She nodded, the gears inside her head churning like plow
discs.

“I just thought it would be fun, Kai. Not to mention fucking
hot as hell. But if you’re too uncomfortable with it, I’ll tell him to go.”

“But you want this. Otherwise you wouldn’t have asked him to
come.”

“What can I say?” He shrugged one shoulder. “I’m a typical
red-blooded male with a dirty mind. The thought of sharing you with Eli turns
my crank. Just Eli though,” he added to reiterate that particular point.

“Is this a one-time deal?” she asked, her eyes guarded.

The question gave him pause. “That’s hard to say. It’s not
something I want to make permanent. I’m too selfish for that. But if you enjoy
it and feel like a repeat sometime in the future, I doubt I’d say no.”

Had she caught that reference to the future he’d let slip?
No, she was too dazed by the sex bomb he’d detonated for it to register.

“And you can stop things at any time if you start to feel
uncomfortable, honey. Just say so and it’ll go no further.”

“Well, not at
any
time,” she said wryly, giving him a
smirk that loosened the tension in his muscles.

Whether it was being done consciously or not, she’d started
to shift closer to the creek bank, her body expressing its curiosity before her
mouth did.

The water no longer hid her top half, although her arms
stayed braced across her chest. If anything, the small expression of shyness
made her that much sexier. He’d been careful not to touch her up to this point
because even that might feel like coercion. He finally let himself rub her shoulders,
just the briefest brush of his palms across her chilled skin.

“You need to tell me what your limits are,” he said.

“Limits?” She frowned, then her eyes stretched wide with
comprehension. “Oh, yeah, limits. I might have
one
. I’ve never…you
know.”

“If and when you’re ready to give that ass up, it’ll be me
and only me who takes it.”

The possessive comment made her smile, but it vanished as
quickly as it appeared. “Except for that particular act, I guess I’ll defer to
you and Eli. I trust you.” She nodded and licked her bottom lip. “I want this
too.”

“Are you sure? ’Cause it’s all up to you. I won’t be
disappointed if you say no.”

“Now you sound like
you’re
the one having second
thoughts.”

“Fritz, if she needs convincing, we shouldn’t do this,” Eli
said from his post at the front of his truck.

Kai’s head swung in Eli’s direction. “Maybe Fritz is the one
who needs convincing,” she fired back, all bark and no bite. “Ever think about
that, Eli?”

Eli grinned smugly, tucking his thumbs in the front pockets
of his jeans.

Fritz felt better at hearing their teasing exchange. Eli had
all but dared Kai to go through with it, and that was one surefire way to erase
any remaining hesitancy on her part.

“Why don’t you bring that sassy mouth over here and prove
you’re not the one who needs convincing,” Eli taunted.

Jesus Christ, this is gonna be good
.

Water sluiced off Kai’s sleek body as she waded out of the
creek, one arm still braced across her breasts in a token form of modesty.
Fritz followed, keeping a little distance between them. He didn’t want her to
feel pushed or pressured, cornered or caged in. He wanted her to know that he
and Eli might be the ones who did the orchestrating, but like he’d told her,
she was ultimately in charge of the afternoon’s festivities. One word from her
and everything came to a halt.

She grabbed a towel from where he’d stacked them on top of
his cooler and tossed it to Fritz before picking up another for herself.
Turning her back on Eli, she squeezed the water from her hair and patted herself
dry. Fritz dried himself off in quick swipes across his skin and hair, never
taking his eyes off her. He guessed he wasn’t totally convinced she still
wouldn’t dart off into the trees or fire a rock at his head.

Kai remained standing at the edge of the large quilt he’d
brought along—a premeditated move on his part—with the towel wrapped around her
chest, one hand clutching it together between her breasts. She tipped her head
to the side and a clump of her damp blonde hair slid over one side of her face.
Fritz’s dick approved of the coy pose, even though he knew that wasn’t her
intent. Kai didn’t do coy.

His heart did a stutter step when she crooked a finger at
first him then Eli, assuming the role of full-on sex kitten. Despite the brave
outward appearances, he suspected deep down inside she was as nervous as a
virgin on her wedding night.

Fritz moved to stand behind her, keeping his hands to
himself for the time being, and tossed his towel aside. His brother sauntered
over like threesomes were a part of his daily routine, right along with
brushing his teeth and cranking a tractor. But when Eli stopped in front of
Kai, Fritz noted the telltale flush on his cheeks and the way the pulse at the
base of his neck jumped with his thudding heartbeats.

“So, Mr. Cocky,” Kai drawled. “Time for an equal showing of
skin.”

A slow smile curved his brother’s mouth before Eli whipped
his T-shirt over his head, dropping it to the quilt. Next came his boots and
socks before his hands went to his belt buckle. One eyebrow lifted, taunting
Kai’s boldness. She sighed dramatically. Eli stripped down to his briefs,
kicking his jeans aside as he stepped into Kai’s personal space.

“Satisfied?” Eli asked her.

“Not yet, but I’m confident the two of you will take care of
that for me.”

Eli tipped her chin up, grazing her cheekbone with his
knuckles before he tucked that wayward chunk of hair behind her ear. “Oh,
sugar. You have no idea.”

She released the death grip she had on the towel, letting it
slip to her feet. “Enlighten me then,” she said.

Yeah, this was going to be damn good.

* * * * *

When Eli’s eyes made a hungry pass over Kai’s body,
lingering for a couple of heavy heartbeats on her breasts, she had an
overwhelming urge to step backward. To cover up again. To hide. The look on his
face was almost feral, as if he would eat her alive and savor every bite.

She knew Fritz—his mannerisms, his tastes, his different
levels of intensity when it came to things of a carnal nature. She could gauge
his mood from a single look and know right away what lay in store for her. And
he never disappointed, be it slow or fast, rough or easy, sweet or demanding.

She didn’t know a thing about what Eli liked in the bedroom,
or in this instance, the great outdoors. Oh, she’d heard the rumors that floated
around. If they were to be believed, all three of the Carter brothers knew
their way around a woman’s body. It was true of Fritz, that much was certain.
The truth about Eli remained to be seen and experienced.

Being shared by two men was one of those crazy female
fantasies that rarely ever came to fruition for most women. And even if given
the chance, not many would act on it. Now here she stood, sandwiched between
two of the hottest male specimens to ever slide on a pair of jeans. It was
thrilling, a little crazy and intimidating as hell. If her heart continued to
race at this same breakneck speed, she’d be dead by sunset.

But, oh my heavens, what a way to go.

Eli slowly raised his hand to touch her, hesitating above
her collarbone, his gaze searching hers for any sign of panic or timidity she
supposed. When she lifted her chin a fraction, his fingertips made a pass
across her skin from shoulder to throat, where he stopped, pressing his palm
flat against her breastbone. Behind her, she could hear Fritz’s breathing pick
up but he had yet to touch her.

“You wanna know a secret?” Eli asked, his voice a low rumble
that caused her skin to prickle. She managed a short nod, no longer feeling so
brave. “I’ve had more than my fair share of jerk-off sessions to the memory of
you swimming naked in this creek.” His warm hand curled around the back of her
neck. “Bein’ given the chance to be with you like this… Well, let’s just say
I’ll owe Fritz for a very long time.”

Fritz snorted. “Damn right you will.”

Finally,
finally
, Fritz touched her, sliding his
hands across her hips and pressing his body close to hers. His board shorts
were damp against the back of her thighs, but his chest was a counterbalance of
warmth. And reassurance.

Brushing her hair off her shoulder, Fritz leaned in to
whisper, “Kiss him, Kai.”

God.

Such a simple order should not make her knees weak with
arousal. Eli’s eyes darkened to a shade just shy of storm cloud. Then his mouth
met hers halfway.

There was no first-kiss tenderness. No getting to know each
other like timid teenagers. His tongue demanded entrance and she parted her
lips. Fire spread throughout her body, intensifying in all the points of
contact between the three of them.

Hands touched, clutched, explored. Hers slid up to Eli’s
shoulders, noting the heat of his skin beneath her palms. Eli’s held her face
so he could eat at her mouth in tiny bites that stung her bottom lip until he
soothed it away with a hot swipe of his tongue. And Fritz’s fingers eased
inside the strings at her hips, toying with the ties of her bikini.

Eli lifted his head and smiled, then dropped to his knees
and said, “God bless America.”

Kai laughed and shivered at the same time. The bottoms
loosened and slipped down her legs. Fritz fit himself tight to her back,
sliding his hands under her arms to cup her breasts in his palms. He murmured
into her ear, “You ready for this?”

A shaky nod was all she could manage.

“Taste her, Eli,” he said. “Fair warnin’ though, she’s gonna
ruin you for other women.”

She was too keyed up to enjoy the compliment. Her body
practically vibrated with anticipation.

Eli’s hands smoothed up her thighs. “No doubt about it.”

Fritz kneaded her breasts, pinched her nipples into hard
peaks. Pleasure spread through her core, forcing a moan from her throat. Her
head tipped back onto his shoulder as Eli eased two fingers inside her. Given
the potent way he kissed her, she should’ve known better than to expect
laziness or reticence.

“Damn, she’s wet and tight.”

Fritz sank his teeth into the side of her neck as if to mark
her, to remind her that she was his. There was no need. She knew who held her
heart, even if both men currently held her desire.

A warm, eager mouth covered her pussy, tongue lapping at her
as if she were dessert, before he focused on torturing her clit in deliberate
circles. Heat made a slow climb up her throat. Her heart pounded.

Strong, calloused hands continued to massage her breasts
roughly while Fritz’s mouth claimed hers in a sizzling kiss. She whimpered when
Eli pumped his hand, thrusting his fingers deeper inside. Needing to hold on to
something, she raised her arms so she could wrap her hands around the back of
Fritz’s neck. Her nails scored his skin. He broke their kiss to watch her face.

“Feel good?”

“Mm, yes.”

“You gonna come for him?” He dropped little kisses at the
corners of her mouth, tracing the bow of her top lip with the tip of his
tongue. Then to Eli he said, “Yeah, she’s about to.”

Kai was moaning now, orgasm building between her hips with
each determined stroke of Eli’s fingers and flick of his tongue. The rumors
were true—he was very, very talented. Behind her, Fritz’s cock was hard as
granite against her tailbone, still trapped inside his shorts. She wanted to
reach back and stroke him, feel him spill hot and sticky on her skin.

With that filthy image filling her head, she came hard.
Bliss wrapped itself around her in a tight clasp, shimmering through her body
in warm waves. She clenched her teeth, trapping a cry. She felt Eli’s fingers
slide out of her, his mouth lifting from her sex. Fritz held her through the
last shudder.
