This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and occurrences are a product of the author’s imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, places or occurrences, is purely coincidental.

Brenna has always been a little on the shy side, or maybe she just feels overshadowed by her more outgoing best friend. Either way, enough is enough. This Halloween, she’s going to have some fun with one of the three hunks she’s had a crush on forever. The only question is—which one might be interested in her?

Scott, Travis and Kyle have been the best of friends most of their lives. None of them really planned on coming back to their hometown or finding little Brenna all grown up and sexy as hell. They all want her, and no one is willing to walk away.

A full moon, candlelight and the casting of a spell will make this Halloween one none of them will ever forget.

Writing this series has definitely been a pleasure. Thank you to all of you who wait eagerly for each new Pleasures story. These are all for you!

Chapter One

Brenna sighed as she watched Scott, Travis and Kyle engaged in a game of pool across the bar. Actually, Scott and Kyle were playing while Travis reclined against the wall with a longneck hanging from his fingers—strong, tanned fingers that she really wanted to feel on her skin. Scott bent over with his back to her, and Brenna’s eyes automatically fell to his perfect ass. She wanted to hold onto it while he rode her. Then Kyle threw his head back and laughed at something, and she was lost in his beautiful face. No man should be so gorgeous.

She sighed again. This was the problem. She’d spent most of her life fantasizing over each of them. First, she’d met Scott, with his muscular, athletic body that had seduced her every time he moved. Through him, she’d run into Kyle, with his easy smile and magazine-cover looks. It should be a sin for a man to look as perfect as he did. Then there was Travis, who exuded an intense bad boy vibe. Long hair, a tricked out Harley and a guitar he played very well, he was sexual temptation incarnated.

Just once she wanted to feel what it would be like to be with one of them—any of them. God! All of them! She snorted. If they had any idea the things that went through her mind when she saw them, they’d run as far away as they could get. They thought of her as the good girl—the buddy, the reliable friend. She thought of them naked. A lot.

“I see you’re still sitting and mooning from afar,” Chel said as she took a seat at the bar next to Brenna.

Chel had been Brenna’s best friend since they were in second grade and a boy had pushed Brenna down on the playground. Chel had punched him in the stomach, and the two girls had walked off, arm in arm while he’d rolled about as if he was dying. No one had ever pushed Brenna around since. Plus, Chel was the one who’d introduced her to Scott. Chel had begun dating Scott’s brother Chuck when she and Brenna were sophomores in high school. Because Brenna hung out with Chel, the four of them had ended up together most nights.

There’d been others who’d joined them here and there. Mostly when one of the guys was seeing a new girl, and occasionally when Brenna dated someone. But none of them had stuck, and ten years later, it was still the six of them. Chel and Chuck were married, but the rest of them were still single. Adulthood had brought minor shifts—working, paying taxes and meeting in the bar now. Other than that, not much had really changed as far as Brenna was concerned.

“Brenna!” Chel yelled.

Brenna jerked her head around just in time to avoid the guys catching her staring at them.

“Shit, Chel. Don’t embarrass me. You’ve got the whole bar looking at me,” Brenna scolded.

“Girl, you’re embarrassing yourself sitting here like that. You’re an intelligent, beautiful woman with a good job, your own cottage and a vacation getting ready to start. You could have any man you set your eye on if you wanted him. Well, except for my man because he’s mine and he likes to breathe.”

Brenna laughed and shook her head. “Chuck doesn’t see any woman but you.”

“Oh, he sees them. He’s a man and not blind. He’s just smart enough to know no woman will treat him better than I do. Just like I’m smart enough to know no man could hold a candle to him.”

“You guys are so good together.”

“We are. I’m happy. Sometimes I have to pinch myself because I’m so happy,” Chel said. “Which brings me to why I’m here. You and I are going to split this joint and head back to your house for a little girl time. I have wine and candles in the car.”

“Why, Chel, are you hitting on me? After all this time? I never knew,” Brenna said, batting her eyelashes.

“You should be so lucky.” Chel grunted then brushed her hand through the air as if shoving that thought aside. “I’ve got something even better planned.”

Brenna felt a chill go down her spine. “I’m almost afraid to ask.”

“Then don’t. Let’s pay the tab and head out. This is going to be an amazing night!” Chel said as she jumped off the barstool.

Brenna turned to search for the bartender so she could settle up and found him down at the other end filling drink orders. She tried to discreetly catch his attention when she felt heat behind her. She didn’t have to glance back to know who was there. She could tell from the scent of his cologne.

“Hey, Mickey,” Travis called out just above her ear. “We get another round?”

Mickey glanced up and nodded. “You, too, Brenna?”

She shook her head. “I’m heading out.”

“Just put hers on our tab,” Travis said, and she swore he moved a little closer to her. “I heard you were leaving us for the night.”

She turned and found her nose almost in his throat. She inhaled and felt dizzy as his scent filled her head. Why was he so close? There was plenty of room since Chel had just left the stool beside Brenna empty. Then she forgot to think at all as his fingers brushed her bare arm when he reached to take the three bottles Mickey sat in front of them.

“Hey, Bre? You ignoring me?” Travis asked.

She still hated it when people tried to shorten her name—unless the people shortening it were Travis, Kyle or Scott.

“I doubt it’s possible for anyone to ignore you.” She finally remembered to answer. “Chel and I are heading back to my place for some girl time.”

“Don’t see why you can’t have girl time here,” Travis mumbled, throwing Brenna for a loop. Hell, she hadn’t been sure the guys had even known she was in the bar.

She opened her mouth to reply when a drop of condensation slid off the bottom of one of the bottles and hit Travis’ neck. She followed it with her eyes as it slid down the strong column of his throat and finally disappeared under his shirt. God, she wanted to trace the wet trail it left with her tongue.

“You feeling all right?” Travis asked. “Your color just went a little red, and you moaned.”

Brenna felt her face grow even hotter, this time with embarrassment. “I didn’t moan.”

Travis gave her his cocky grin. “Pretty sure you did.”

Brenna shook her head and acted as if he was crazy, praying he didn’t notice the frantic beating of her pulse in her throat or the way her nipples were tight and straining toward him. Maybe they weren’t as noticeable as she felt they were. She grabbed her wallet from the bar and stood, almost crashing into him as she did. Christ! She should have moved off the other side of her stool.

“Easy there.” Travis’ deep voice rasped over her, but her focus was on the feel of his body up against her. He was long, hard and thick.

Her gaze flew up to his, but Travis acted as if it was nothing for her to be feeling his erection against her.

“Bre?” he asked, and his voice was deep and husky.

“Gotta go,” she squeaked and brushed against him as she tried to move away.

He jostled the beers in his hand and dropped the other one to her hip to help her move. She was fairly certain she moaned again.

“Chel!” She practically yelled across the bar for her friend.

Chel was deep in conversation with Kyle and Scott. They all looked up, and Chel waved at her. Brenna wasn’t sure if there was something different in the guys’ gazes as they looked at her, or if she was just being paranoid at the moment.

“Are you okay?” Travis asked again.

“Just need some air,” she said and fanned herself with one hand. “It’s getting a little hot and stuffy in here.”

“Give me a sec to take these over, and I’ll walk you out,” Travis said.

“I’m good,” Brenna said quickly and glanced over toward Chel. Thank God her best friend was finally heading toward them. “Here comes Chel, now. You guys have a great night.”

“You, too,” Travis said, but Brenna sensed something different in his voice.

She took Chel’s arm and headed at a fast pace toward the door.

“Girl, where’s the fire?” Chel demanded.

Brenna realized she was practically dragging Chel beside her. “Sorry,” Brenna said and spared another glance behind her.

All three men were watching her and made no move to pretend otherwise. God, had she made a complete fool of herself with Travis?

“What?” Chel asked when Brenna groaned.

“Nothing,” Brenna muttered as they stepped out of the bar into the cool night air. “Let’s just get out of here.”

“Right behind you,” Chel said and jiggled her keys out of her purse.

Brenna drove home by rote, her mind still on Travis and the way he, Scott and Kyle had looked at her as she’d left the bar. The last thing she wanted was to make things awkward between them. She’d have to remember to play it off the next time they were all together. It was that or find a new hangout with new friends—not happening.

She pulled off onto the winding path that led through the trees to her house. She loved the cottage. She still remembered everyone telling her she was silly for buying a place this far out of town and so in need of repair. But she’d taken one look and fell in love, mostly with the property. It included a generous portion of the woods and access to the little lake behind the house. She’d spent a year making repairs. So had Chuck, Scott, Travis and Kyle. They might have groaned every now and then, but it had been good-naturedly. And when it was done, Chel had helped her decorate it into the homey, comfortable house it was.

Everyone still gave her guff about living alone, and the guys often threatened to bring a dog out and drop it off for her. She’d thought about getting one, but her work schedule kept her gone most of the day. It didn’t seem right to get a dog when she’d have to leave it alone for hours on end.

She stepped out of the car and headed toward Chel’s just as her friend pushed open the door.

“I still think we should have a Halloween party out here,” Chel said, picking up the same conversation they seemed to have every October.

“I don’t want to have a party here,” Brenna reminded her. “The house is small, and I know you. You’d invite everyone under the sun. Plus, there’s no taxi service. If people get drunk here, they have to stay. I don’t want a yard full of drunks.”

Chel laughed. “You’re right. We’d have to set up transportation for people so they could drink and still get home. I wonder if the church rents out those buses they use on Sundays?”

Brenna burst into laughter. “Not for drunken parties, I’m sure.”

“Hey, Jesus turned water into wine, not wine into water.”

Brenna shook her head. Chel was absolutely crazy, and Brenna loved her.

“Take this bag for me,” Chel said and thrust a bag at Brenna.

“What’s in it?” Brenna asked.

“Supplies,” Chel answered and slammed shut her door. “Let’s head in and open this bottle of wine.”
