Somewhere In England

     The rotund monk in black robe came to the gate. Waiting there was a young girl with an infant in her arms.

      The monk opened the gate and peeled back the blanket from the baby's face. "Is this the one?" he reverently asked.

      The girl nodded.

      "What's his name?"

      "She told me to call him Michael."

About the Author

Ms. Markowicz has twelve vampire novels to her credit. She got her love of vampires from her father when he took her to see
Dracula
. Years later came
Dark Shadows
and she was hooked.

Her first vampire novel was a young adult titled
Bride of the Blood Moon. Bite Me
is her latest.

She knew she wanted to be a writer since she was able to talk; except when she was five and wanted to be a giraffe. Whole other issue.

She attended The Art Institute of Philadelphia for video production.

Currently, Ms. Markowicz lives in Philadelphia with her husband, sons and three cats.
