“You like to keep me on edge. I see that now.” Meri had the sweetest blush dusting her cheeks.

“Yes, I do. Like showing up at your work, unannounced, to make sure you followed my instructions. Tell me, Meri, after we hung up last night, did you orgasm?”

“I will admit, I thought about it and I was pretty tempted. But no, I didn’t. Although, I don’t have a lot of experience with orgasms, I think they are a lot like life…best when shared with someone you care about.”

The sudden lump in his throat kept him from replying. How did she know exactly what to say to tie his nuts in a knot? To keep from making an ass of himself, he kissed the tip of her nose then put his arm around her waist and watched the sun glisten off the water.

His eyes began to drift closed as he heard a sound. Meri must have heard it too and she scrambled to her feet. She grabbed the flowers and the basket as he took the blanket. Too late. The sprinklers drenched them both before they could make it to the sidewalk leading to her building.

Ted used the clean side of the blanket to pat the water from her dress. “I think it’s hopeless. I’m sorry, my love.”

Meri looked down and burst out laughing. “For what? That’s the most fun I’ve had at work…ever. I look like a drowned rat, but the flowers are safe.”

Her smile took his breath away. Meri’s hair was plastered to her head, but her dress was clinging enticingly to her body. Honestly, she was the sexiest woman he’d ever met. She glowed from the inside out. “You’re going to get cold. Do you have something to change into?”

“I should have sweats in my car. Let me get my keys, then I’ll walk you out.” Meri got them through security and they headed to her office.

“Cheryl, I’d like you to meet a friend of mine, Ted. Ted, this is Cheryl. She has the office across from mine,” Meri explained as they passed a twenty-something blonde in the hallway.

“It’s so nice to meet you, Ted. Are you new to our company?” She flashed him a welcoming smile.

“No, I…” He looked to Meri, unsure how she wanted him to handle questions about their ‘friendship’.

“No, Cheryl, believe it or not, I do have a life outside of work. Ted is an owner of DiscipliNation.”

Holy shit!
He’d never dreamed she’d admit to a colleague that she knew the first thing about his business, let alone introduce him as a friend.

In a hushed voice, Cheryl asked, “The toy company?” After Meri nodded her head, Cheryl stomped her foot. “I hate you. First you have a better office than I do, then after I tell you about George you one up me again. Seriously, girl, I hate you.” Cheryl turned away from Meri, who was laughing her ass off, and pointed her finger at Ted’s chest. “You sell quality merchandise. I don’t know what I would do without George—he’s obviously my best friend.” In an exaggerated huff, Cheryl opened the door to her office and disappeared.

Once they were alone in Meri’s office, she explained. “George is a vibrator she bought at one of your stores. She’s actually the person who told me about the club. From what I understand, she’s friends with a couple of members. They were encouraging her to check it out, but she’s content with George. Go figure.”

“You are a very interesting woman, Meri.”

As Meri drove to the club, she was strung tighter than she’d ever been in her life. She’d talked to Ted for several hours Monday night. He’d edged her time and time again, both last night and while she’d been at work today. If she didn’t get to come soon, she would probably burst into tears. The tension running through her was about to reach the critical state.

She parked her car under a light, just like Ted had instructed. He was a security fanatic, but it was nice to think he cared. As she went into the building, she found Ted waiting for her in the lobby. Just seeing him added to her ache.

“Hello, Meri. I’m glad you could make it tonight.” From the tone of his voice, he could have been speaking to a stranger.

He was all business. That hurt—a lot. Had she read more into their relationship than was actually there? “Master Ted, it’s good to see you again.” She was proud that the emotions choking her hadn’t swallowed her voice completely.

Why was he playing this game? Was the connection she’d felt on the phone and at lunch all pretend and this was the real Ted? Or was she blowing everything out of proportion? The man had only said two sentences for heaven’s sake.

Amanda got her signed in, but before she could duck into the locker room, Ted held out his hand. She needed to regroup, to get her emotions under control, but she allowed him to lead her straight into his office anyway.

“What’s wrong, Meri?”

“Nothing. I’m fine.” She tossed her purse and the bag containing her fetwear onto the floor near the door.

“I don’t believe that for a minute, but if that’s the way you want to play it, fine. Present to me.”

Meri wasn’t in the mood for this tonight. She was in her street clothes and holding on to her composure by her fingernails. For the last two days, she’d been kept on the edge of an orgasm and all she wanted to do was rush into Ted’s arms and find relief. But romantic Ted hadn’t met her at the door. Nope, this was the aloof, ‘I barely know you’, Ted.

It felt like a test, a pop quiz from her college days.
Well, Professor Ted, you will find I’m a good student…until I get sick of your shit and walk out the door.
Meri took a deep breath and realised she was in quite the mood. She needed to push her bitch aside and give the man a chance.

Right there, not even two feet into his office, she dropped to her knees, clasped her hands behind her back and looked up at him. She knew he’d see the tears in her eyes and the scowl on her face, but there wasn’t anything she could do about it.

“Tell me what’s wrong,” he ordered, using his Dom voice.

“I’m tired.”
Tired of not knowing where we stand. Tired of your mixed signals. Tired of being treated like an acquaintance when just last night we talked and laughed like old friends.

“I’ve been planning this scene since I came to your office, but it can wait ‘till another evening if there’s a problem.” His hand cupped her chin.

There, finally, was the voice she’d longed to hear. The smooth purr she’d grown accustomed to. Was he ashamed of her? Unwilling to let his friends know he cared about her? Was that why he was distant around others, but compassionate alone with her?

“No, I’m fine, Sir.”

“I don’t like this frown, Meri. Did I push you too hard? Make you wait too long for relief?”

He’d brought her to the edge of orgasm so many times she didn’t know how much more she could take. “Maybe. I don’t know. It’s been a long day and I didn’t sleep well last night.”
Because I couldn’t wait to be here with you. And now you’re being an ass. Or I’m being a bitch. Or both.

“Do you want to call it an evening?”

She shook her head.

“Okay, then strip.” He held out his hand and helped her up even though his tone was laced in frustration.

Meri kicked off her shoes and tossed her belt on top of them. She reached behind her and struggled with the zipper.

“Let me help.” Ted eased the zipper down.

She let the dress fall to the floor without catching it. After stepping out of it, she unhooked her bra and slid it from her shoulders. She bent down, folded her dress and laid it and her bra on her purse. Since Ted had told her not to wear any panties, she stood before him in stockings, waiting to hear if he wanted those off as well.

“You look beautiful, little one.”

His softer tones were helping her to relax. She wanted to fall into his arms and be told everything was going to be all right, but that wasn’t the type of relationship they had.
Damn it.
“Thank you, Sir. Do you want these left on?”

“No, I want you bared to me.”

Meri released the hooks, slid the stockings off and added them to her pile. “Where would you like me?” Ted was watching her every move. She wouldn’t be terribly surprised if he threw her out. The petulant bitch wasn’t her normal style and she wished she could get the hell over it, but that wasn’t going to happen any time soon. She needed to come and she needed to be held…not necessarily in that order.

“Lie flat on your back on my desk, arms over your head, legs spread wide.” He was practically growling.

The edge of the desk was cool against her butt as she slid on top of it. Her nipples pebbled and she shivered as she followed his instructions. Meri scooted into the middle. She crossed her arms over her head before she bent her knees and spread her legs.

Ted moved to the end of his desk, granting him an embarrassing view of her pussy. He grabbed her ankles and pulled her ass to the edge then placed her feet at the corners. “Don’t move.”

She knew an order when she heard one. Even in the surly mood she was in, she knew better than to disobey. Ted pulled cuffs and rope from his satchel. In quick, practised moves, he had her ankles bound and tied to the legs of his desk nearest her head. There was no way for her to move her legs forward.

Next, he cuffed her wrists and tied them to the same set of legs. There was almost no give to the bindings. She was truly bound and at his mercy. Almost immediately, some of the tension began to drain from her. Meri allowed her eyes to drift closed and her focus to narrow. All the emotional drama she’d been feeling started to drift away.

“That’s my girl, just relax and I’ll make you feel better.” Ted slid a blindfold over her eyes. “What’s your safeword, Meri?”

“Let’s just stick with ‘crisis’.” She didn’t want to have to remember two of them. If she used the club safeword, then all the bases were covered.

“I’m going to…fuck you tonight. Are you on birth control or do you want me to use a condom?”

“It’s okay, I’m on the pill.” She remembered him assuring her he had a clean bill of health. His question surprised her. She’d assumed Ted would wear a condom religiously. He didn’t seem the type to leave anything to chance.

“You look even more beautiful than I imagined. I’ve had a hell of a time trying to get any work done since I started planning this scene. I kept picturing you, tied like this, open for me.” He ran his tongue over her nipple. “You made it impossible for me to concentrate, you bad girl.” His teeth scraped the tender peak in mock retaliation.

She gasped and arched her back, accepting his punishment, wanting more.

“I’ve been longing for another taste of you, my love. And now I have you right where I want you.” He ran his hand down her belly as he walked back to the end of his desk. “I don’t like it when you keep secrets from me, Meri. I asked you several times what was bothering you and you chose not to answer me. Much like your body is open to me, I expect you to bare your mind as well. There is more to D/s than physical interactions. Before this night is through, you will talk to me.”

“Yes, Sir.” Her brain was starting to fog. She knew what he was going to do and the anticipation was killing her. All she could think about was his mouth caressing her clit.

She heard noises and for a moment or two she was left alone, or so it felt that way when no part of him was touching her. Nervous tension started to creep back in.
What’s happening? Where’s he gone?

“Relax, Meri.” His hand stroked down her inner thigh. “I would never leave you tied and alone. You’re safe with me, little one. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to frighten you. Do you need me to remove the blindfold?”

She could breathe again. “No, Sir.” He knew her so well. Meri found comfort in him reading her body language so accurately. “I’m okay, now.”

He put his lips over her clit and hummed. “Mmm, you’re better than okay. You’re perfect. I can’t wait any longer, Meri, I need to taste you. Remember you must ask me before you come.”

She shook her head and let her pent up frustration surface. “Please, don’t make me wait. It’s been days. I can’t do this anymore.” Tears dropped from the corners of her eyes and dampened the blindfold. Meri pulled against the bindings, searching for a weak spot.

Ted cupped her cheek with one hand and laid a calming palm over her stomach. “But you don’t have a choice, my pet. I decide when you’ve earned your release. Your body is mine. Trust me to take care of you.”

His voice was strong and unyielding, yet his touch was tender. An odd, peaceful feeling washed over her. He was in control and she was free to let go. “Yes, Sir. I’m yours to command.”

“Good girl.” His hands stayed still for a few moments longer as he showered kisses and love bites over her breasts.

Every sensation seemed heightened. By surrendering to her Master, her brain was finally calm and quiet. Accepting.

Leisurely, he drew his hands down her body until he wrapped his arms around her thighs and began to lick and suckle her clit. Meri twisted her hands around the rope locking her wrist cuffs to the legs of his desk and held on. Ted brought her arousal up gradually using the lightest of touches along her clit hood. Ever so slowly, he increased the pressure and direct contact until she was within a few strokes of coming.

“Sir, I’m re-all-y close.” For the first time in days, she didn’t groan in frustration when the sensations began to fade. This time, she knew Ted would see to her pleasure.

“Thank you, Meri. Your trust in me is a wonderful gift. I’m honoured, my love.”

Only a few seconds went by before she felt his cockhead at the opening to her vagina. “Oh, yes.” She moaned as he entered her. It had been so fucking long.

“You’re very tight, Meri. Relax for me and I promise I’ll take care of all your needs.”

He was stretching her as he moved deeper inside her. She hadn’t been with anyone since her divorce and her vibrator was considerably smaller than Ted. The heat from his cock wasn’t the only burning sensation consuming her and God knew she wanted it all.

“Hold still for me, love. We’re almost there.” His hands clamped around her hips and stopped her thrashing.

She hadn’t realised she was fighting him. “You feel so good. I’ve wanted you inside me for days. Dreamed about it, day and night. Fuck me, Master. Hard. I want it hard.”
