Being with him like this was wonderful, but there was nothing as climactic as being fucked by all three of them at the same time. She was always amazed by how they each complimented the other in their desire to take her to orgasm. And so far, their insatiable appetites for her body had given her confidence that she more than pleased them.

As if reading her mind, Mark said, “Noah and Keith are both home tonight. I’m supposed to find out if you’re free.”

“I’m always free.” She giggled.

“You know what I mean,” Mark said, playfully spanking her behind through her dress.

“Yes, I can meet you all tonight. What time?”

“Noah has a business dinner,” he said with a frown.

“An unpleasant one,” Julie said, “by the look on your face.”

“You could say that. Someone he used to know. Nothing for you to worry about. He said he should be home by nine o’clock.”

“I have a breakfast meeting, but since I have a change of clothes at your place, that shouldn’t be a problem.”

“You mean changes of clothes.” Mark laughed. “More like a full wardrobe. You know we consider that bedroom to belong to you.”

Julie smiled. “A girl likes to be prepared.”

“Come here,” Mark ordered.

Mark held out his arms as she melted into him once again. His lips caught hers in a long, warm kiss that lasted for a full minute. When he drew back, his eyes remained locked with hers. “You’re the most beautiful and seductive creature I’ve ever had the pleasure of impaling with the monster.”

Mark had gotten in the habit of calling his cock “the monster.” It was funny because he wasn’t all that much longer than Noah or Keith. However, he was thicker, and an inch here and there did make a difference. The first time he had taken her in the ass, he had been more nervous than she was—he had been so afraid of hurting her. That was when the monster had officially been named. His gentleness had made her embrace him even more. She wanted him to see that she wasn’t afraid of him and how much pleasure he brought her.

When Julie was finally allowed to leave Mark’s office, she called James, giving him the details of the meeting, well most of them anyway.

The remainder of the day went fast between meetings with new clients and working with James on the finishing details for the upcoming weekend. Her last meeting at a client’s home wasn’t far from her apartment, so she opted to go there instead of back to the store to write up the proposals that she would go over with James the next day. However, she had told James that their meeting would have to wait until after her early-morning meeting with Mrs. Benoit, a very wealthy, very nervous mother of the bride.

They were working together on the engagement party. It was going to be epic. The guest list was running into the hundreds with many high-profile guests including senators and movie stars. Mrs. Benoit required a lot of hand-holding, and Julie was ready to do just that even if it meant meeting with her for an early breakfast when she’d much rather be making breakfast for her men.

With the final proposal written, Julie shut her laptop and went into her bedroom where she removed her clothes. She wanted to take a nice long soak in the tub before she took a nap. The evening ahead, if it was like their usual nights together, would not end early.

There were times, like now, when Julie still couldn’t believe she was sleeping with three men. She couldn’t be sure they weren’t sleeping with other women, but if she were to judge from the frequency of their demands, they didn’t have much time to be with anyone else. She certainly had no desire to be with anyone but them. They were all she could think about, all she desired.

She stepped out of the tub and walked naked into her bedroom. She let her body air dry. She ran her hands over breasts. Her nipples jumped to attention. Pulling the nipple clamps that Noah had given her from the drawer, she attached them to her hard nubs. Ever since she had begun wearing them, her nipples had become ultra-sensitive. He had even given her a clit clamp that she had found to be extremely stimulating. It had a little bell on it that they loved ringing. She spread her legs and pulled her puffy clit down and attached the clamp onto the hood. She dripped with anticipation.

However, she knew better than to make herself come. Noah had been very insistent that she not come by herself when she knew she was going to be with them. She hadn’t told them, but she never came by herself anymore. She only wanted to come for them. Feeling extremely sexy and wanton, she lay down on the bed with her legs spread open and dreamed of their hands caressing her body.

Chapter Fourteen

Noah entered the restaurant with trepidation. It had been years since he had laid eyes on his ex-wife, and he liked it that way
.
Deanna had been one of the first writers he had contracted with, and her stories of romantic love had been well crafted. However, unlike many authors of romance, she had nothing in common with what she put down on paper. He learned too late that she was as cold and hard as a piece of flint. She had totally convinced him that he was the love of her life, and being young and stupid, he had believed every word she told him.

He probably shouldn’t have been surprised that she called him after all this time. He had heard through the grapevine that the New York publisher had dropped her. He knew he should have said no to dinner, but there was still a part of him that couldn’t forget she had once been an important part of his life. He had reluctantly agreed against his better judgment.

She was waiting for him with a drink in her hand. She looked up as he approached. Her smile was every bit as devastating as it had been the day he had met her. He noticed her hair was shorter, and her eyes, which had once been luminous, were overly made up and looked tired. She was still a beautiful woman.

“Noah,” she said breathlessly. “I’m so glad you agreed to have dinner with me even if you did insist on an early one. I would have been so disappointed if you had been too busy for me.”

“Hello, Deanna. I see you already have a drink.”

“Well, after the last time we saw each other, I needed a little moral support, and a bourbon and Coke has always been my drink of choice.”

“I remember.”

“Do you? That’s nice. I remember lots of things, things that might not be proper dinner conversation,” she said, lowering her voice and upper body so he could view her ample cleavage.

He sat down as the waiter approached. He ordered himself a drink, and Deanna ordered another for herself. He watched her tip her glass. Maybe she really was nervous about meeting with him. Although, knowing her the way he did now, it could all be just an act.

When the waiter returned, they ordered their meal. Noah waited silently for her to speak. He wasn’t about to make this easy for her. She had called him because she obviously wanted something. The ball was in her court.

“I made a big mistake when I left you, Noah. I know that now. I don’t expect you to forgive me, but if you can see your way to at least consider what I’m about to propose, you might find it will more than benefit the both of us.”

“I’m not inclined to go into business with you again. I’m sure you understand why.”

“I do. Believe me, I do. It’s just that when I left you, I hadn’t realized how much your support meant to me. The other publisher was good, but he had a no idea what really made me tick. Somewhere along the line, my creative juices just dried up. It took me a while to figure it out, but when I did, I knew I had no choice but to call you.”

“Really? Was that before or after your publisher dropped you?”

“Let’s not split hairs,” she said quickly. “The fact is without you, I can’t write the way I used to. We were a team, and I got too big for my britches along with some other issues. I was wrong. You were right about everything. I was out of control, and I just continued to spiral downward until I hit bottom. I’m sorry I didn’t appreciate you the way I should have. I still love you. I always have. I just lost sight of reality, and I’ve paid for it, Noah.”

Noah couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Was she just a helluva a good actresses, or was there some truth in what she had just told him? He knew he shouldn’t believe her. He didn’t want to believe her, and yet, she looked so pitiful, so lost, so damn vulnerable. And he had loved her once…before she destroyed that love with her manipulation and lies.

He had worked hard to promote her stories and put her on the cover of
Publishers Weekly
and
Time
magazine. She had been hailed as the Queen of the Romance Novel. Even Jackie Collins hadn’t outsold her. And he had been her lapdog. His admiration and love for her had blinded him to her faults, and in the end the choices she made had ruined their marriage.

She wanted to go with a well-known New York publisher, one that she told him knew how to take her to the next level of sales and stardom. He had been dumbstruck because it absolutely made no sense. There was nothing that another publisher could do for her that he wasn’t already doing. However, she wouldn’t let it go, and when her contract ended, she hadn’t re-signed.

He should have seen it coming. He knew that now. Her frequent mood swings and paranoia were signs of substance abuse. Even their sex life no longer seemed to satisfy her. She had always been an aggressive lover, but aggression had changed to hostility. She wanted sex to be rougher and rougher. He enjoyed spanking her pretty little ass and making her scream with need when he whipped her breasts with a cat-o’-nine-tails, but when it came to really roughing her up, he had drawn the line. There was no way he was going to whip her until she bled or strangle her until she turned blue.

Although he had found too much violence a turn-off, she had begged him to step up his game. When he refused, she had called him names and told him a real man would do whatever he needed to satisfy his woman.

He had pleaded with her to see a marriage counselor or someone who could help them come to grips with her demands that he couldn’t bring himself to carry through. She had laughed at him and said she didn’t need some shrink to tell her what she needed in bed. The marriage had deteriorated quickly from that point on.

She knew not re-signing with him would be a blow to his business, but she hadn’t cared. Noah had moved on, and now he had more than surpassed his expectations. She, on the other hand, seemed to be right back where she started.

“After the way you behaved and your lies, there is no forgiveness. However, as a publisher, I find it hard not to at least hear what you have to say. I’ve always respected your writing ability even if I don’t respect you as a person.”

“I’m not proud of the way I acted. I did horrible things to you and myself. I’m different now whether you believe me or not and I’m grateful you’re willing to hear me out.”

Noah sat back in his chair and brought his drink to his lips. She took a sip from her own glass. She slowly placed her glass on the table. He watched her reach into her large, oversized purse and haul out a manuscript that she put on the table between them.

“I wrote this for you, but I know it needs a lot of work. I think it could be a bestseller with your help. Will you at least read it?”

Noah watched as she pushed the manuscript closer to him. “I’m begging you, Noah,” she said breathlessly, lowering her eyes. “I’m begging you to help me.”

How many times had he heard her beg in the throes of passion? Until she had tried to push his limits, he had desired her. He had thought their love was forever. He had never thought she would turn on him or try to ruin him. He had been wrong, but according to her, so had she.

Suddenly his thoughts went to Julie. Her face swam in front of his—beautiful, trusting Julie who had become more important to him than he cared to admit. Was it possible that she was cut from the same cloth as Deanna? Would she end up treating him with the same disregard? Up until now he hadn’t even thought she could be anything like Deanna. However, Deanna had been sweet and caring when he first met her.

Julie had become more than a good fuck. She was someone he had come to trust. He talked to her about his business, and the four of them had enjoyed each other’s company outside of the bedroom. She had stocked their refrigerator and cooked for them whenever she had the time. His cock was beginning to stiffen just thinking about her. He brought his thoughts back to the present and the woman sitting across the table from him.

“I’ll read it, but I can’t promise you anything.”

“Thank you, Noah. This means everything to me.”

The remainder of the dinner went smoothly. Deanna didn’t say another word about business and talked about people they both knew and current events that she knew were a safe subject. He, in turn, did the same. Before they parted company, he took the manuscript.

“I’ll call you in a week or so. I’ll need your number.”

“Yes. Here’s my card.”

He took it and slipped it in his jacket pocket.

When he arrived home, Mark and Keith were watching television in the den. He gave them a wave and proceeded to the kitchen. He grabbed a beer and downed it. He grabbed three more and went into the den.

“Thanks,” they both said, taking the beers he offered them.

“Everything okay?” Keith asked. “You look a little wound up.”

“She wants me back as her publisher.”
