Missy Lyons and Cherie Denis

Jesse flopped down in his ancient chenille upholstered chair.

Angela continued to stand in the middle of the living room with her hands in the back pocket of her jeans.

“You are the most beautiful woman I have ever known, Angie.”

Her eyes glistened. “Oh really. You couldn’t prove it by me. I thought I was just your ‘good time girl.’ I was available, and I was stupid enough to fall for your baloney.”

Jesse cringed. “I’m so sorry, Angie. I thought you were attracted to me because of the excitement of this being an affair. I didn’t mean for it to turn out this way.”

“Really? You couldn’t prove it by me.”

Her eyes were red and watery. Hell. Jesse didn't know what to do.

He couldn't get much lower. As it was, he felt lower than a snake’s belly. Holding out his hand, he beckoned to her. “Come here, sweetheart. It’s time you knew a few things.”

“You mean the truth?”

She stepped closer but didn’t touch his hand. “I thought I knew the truth. You and Lydia were lovers, and you were getting married.

Something happened and now you don’t love her. What else is there to know?”

He waited and waited for her to take his hand. Finally when he’d about given up, she took his hand, allowing him to pull her into his lap. She leaned her head against his shoulder and sighed. Jesse stroked her glossy, black hair.

“I would have thought you might have figured out by now that I love you, Angie.”

She shook her head.

Silently, she finally let loose the tears she held back. Her tears dampened his shirt.

Jesse continued to tenderly stroke her hair. “Everything about you is beautiful, Angie. I’m so sorry I hurt you. I should have told you a long time ago I wasn’t going to marry Lydia, but we were having so much fun. I thought it was what you wanted. You were so willing to Ebook piracy is stealing. make love to me whenever I wanted you. I was only thinking about me, and I should have been thinking about you and what you wanted.”

“Oh?”

“I told you I love you, and I mean it. Can you forgive me and find it in your heart to love me someday?”

She put a hand on his cheek and found it wet. “Why, Jesse, you’re serious.”

“Damn straight.”

“I’ve loved you for years. Since we were kids. I waited and waited for you to notice me. When you came to me for dance lessons, I had to have you. At first, I wanted whatever you were willing to give, and if sex was all you wanted, I’d take it.”

"Oh, Angie. I’m so sorry. We could have saved a lot of time and hurt feelings.”

Angela turned and straddled his lap. “We’re still young. We have plenty of time. I love you so much, Jesse.”

He kissed her. Long. Slow. Passionately.

“Jesse?”

“Umm?”

“Do you have a bed in this place?”

“Oh yeah.” He licked his lips. “A nice, big ol’ king-size bed.

Why?”

Angela laughed. “It would be nice to make love in a real bed for a change. We seem to do it everywhere but a bed. The floor at the studio wasn’t exactly cushy.”

Jesse stood and shifted her until he had one arm supporting her back and the other supporting her knees. “One bed, coming right up.”

ways, on the bed and off the bed. On the kitchen counter—they missed dinner that time. He’d taken her to heaven in the shower and in the bathtub filled with hot sudsy water.

He’d brought her breakfast in bed, and for that matter, lunch.

The man was amazing, enduring and endearing.

She’d shown him in a million ways and with a thousand words how much she loved him.

Jesse had proclaimed his love with every climax. He’d shouted it, murmured it, whispered it and cried it out in his sleep.

Angela wasn’t sure how long either one of them was going to last before collapsing of exhaustion. They made love off and on for seven hours before falling into a deep, long-lasting sleep.

Angela stretched, yawned and moaned. Every bone and muscle in her body hurt. She felt wonderful and alive and in love.

She slipped out of bed and hit the bathroom hoping Jesse wouldn’t wake up and find her gone. She took care of business, brushed her teeth and climbed back into bed. Jesse hadn’t stirred. He lay on his back, his half-aroused penis tenting the sheet and his hands under his head. He was so beautiful, Angela ached to kiss him, but he deserved to get some sleep. The poor man had worn himself out.

However, his penis seemed none the worse for wear. The sheet continued to rise like a ghost from the grave.

Angela giggled, and Jesse’s eyes popped open. “What?” His voice was husky, rough and sleep-filled.

“Nothing…”

A grin spread across his handsome face. “Really?”

“Mmm.”

“I could have sworn you were laughing at my cock.”

“No way, Jesse.” She whipped the sheet off his arousal. “Look at him. No woman should or could laugh at him. He’s huge and beautiful.”

Jesse’s cheek bones pinked. “Thanks. I don’t remember ever getting a compliment about that part of my anatomy very often. Other than a complaint now and then that I’m too big.”

Angela leaned forward and rubbed her cheek against his arousal.

“Oh, poor baby. Mmm, soft as silk-covered steel.”

“Stop, Angie.”

She opened her mouth wide and took him in. He was hot and ready. She milked him with her tongue until he was writhing and begging her to stop.

In one swift movement, he covered her body with his. Jesse moaned, sharing his pleasure. He cupped her small breasts in his hands and flicked her brown sugar nipples to taut peaks.

“I love you, Angela.’

“I have always loved you, Jesse.”

He arched his back, filling her completely. “Forever.”

“And, always.”

Their climax was mutual.

Angela was trembling from head to toe when Jesse rolled her over until they were facing each other and still connected intimately. “Ya know what I want?”

“No, I don’t know…”

“I was thinkin’. Let’s have a big wedding.”

“Wedding?”

“Of course. I’m not letting you out of my sight or my bed ever again.”

“Oh…”

“Anyway, I want something splashy and fun. I want to dance with you all night long.”

“Dance?”

“Sure. This cowboy does dance.”

She wiggled her hips, and he took the hint and began to move in a rhythm as old as time. “You certainly can dance.” Angela sighed and joined in a dance that far surpassed any dance she’d ever done on her feet.

Thank heavens her cowboy loved to dance.
