Ginger nods and says, “What do I do?”

Stacey grins and replies, “Use your mind. This will be difficult, but I have faith in you.
There is no sure fire way with magic. It comes from the heart.”

Ginger says, “So basically it’s internal.”

Stacey answers,’ Exactly, push with your mind to let the magic, or the universe as I like to call it guide you. Magic is all around us. We just have to tap into it is all.”

Ginger nods, closes her eyes and just focused on controlling her breathing. Nothing happened, so she just focused on allowing her mind to wander.”

It happened suddenly, a sharp tingling of magic raced down her arms and words stated to formulate out of thin air. Magic is innate, as it guided her to the proper spell.

In seconds, the words were flowing,. The walls of this world vanished, and a city appeared.

Ginger thinks, “Hidden in Utah, who’d have thought.”

Chapter 28:

The city of Icebay of Morbed looked like it belonged in the wizard of oz. It was a glass castle with small houses surrounding it. The view was out of this world, just simply beautiful.

Stacey jumps up and down chanting, “You did it. You did it.”

Ginger laughs and says, “Yes, I did. Now this full blooded witch is ready to meet the witch council.”

Stacey smiles and states, “Follow me.”

She leads her down the road and Ginger swore, she wanted to start singing “follow the yellow brick road.”

In minutes, Stacey had brought her in front of a huge building next to the castle. It was titled city hall.

Ginger says, “Really? City hall?”

Stacey laughs and replies, “Yeah, so we are about to meet the Protectors and Guardians for the Ministry of Peace. The council of elders live here, or most of them do.“

Ginger asked, “What does the council do?”

Stacey responds, “They make decisions that affect all of our lives.”

Ginger answers, “What about COPS?”

Stacey nods and says, “My father runs COPS, which protects people from criminals like Feltus. Whereas the council makes laws, holds trails and tries to regulate the disruption that each of us can make.”

Ginger states, “Makes sense? I’m ready.”

Stacey responds, “Almighty.’

Chapter 29:

Once inside city hall, Stacey lead her up to the fourth floor where Stacey signed them in. The receptionist said, twenty minutes.

Ginger thought, “Wow. The Darkholme name carries some weight around here.”

Stacey went to the vending machine, as Ginger sat in a stool while she was gone.

Ginger wonders, “What do I expect? How should I behave?”

That and a few other dozen questions flew through her head in that moment, when Stacey say down disturbing the trial of questions. She was snacking on a bag of twizzlers.

Stacey asked, “You nervous?”

Ginger nodded and states, “A little.”

Stacey replies, “Don’t be. Act natural and be yourself.”

Before she could elaborate on her feelings, their names were called. Ginger followed Stacey’s lead and was glad to not have to go in alone.

The marble doors opened and Ginger didn’t know what she imagined, but it was long table with council members like one sees in court shows.

Stacey thought to her, “There is Malcolm Barnabas Silverdale, Queen Destiny Sawyer, Trinity Barlett, Rolan Abcran, Riley Echolls, Agnus Delmy Griffin, and the leader of the council- Phillip Spider Grandhorn.”

Ginger nodded and replied back with her thoughts, “I’m ready for this.”

Stacey says, “Yes, you are.”

Chapter 30:

Agnus and Spider were the originals elders that created the five worlds together. The two of them together were unstoppable, but if Feltus happened to kill one of them. Perish the thought.

Ginger knew total chaos and destruction would ruin down on them. She wondered, “Why is Malcolm here?”

Stacey says, “Hello uncle.”

Riley replies, “Stacey.”

Ginger thought, “What a cold and distant greeting.”

Stacey states, “We were sent here for your help.”

Rolan asks, “Sent by whom?”

Ginger jumps in, “Kambria Gwendolyn Townsend.”

Destiny spoke up, “She’s a witch and a friend of mine. Why didn’t she call me herself?”

Stacey answers, “Ginger here was given a vision last night, so perhaps she shall.”

Destiny nods and responds, “My kingdom is always welcoming anyone, but especially witches. You two are family.”

Ginger gasps and asks, “How do you know I’m a witch?”

Destiny replies, “When you use magic, it leaves a mark. It’s signature.”

Ginger thought, “Ah, so now I can be tracked by magic users.”

Spider says, “Don’t worry my child. I will train you.”

Malcolm asks, “Why?”

Agnus states, “Don’t question your maker.”

Malcolm scolds and says, “I am not a child.”

Angus snaps back, “Then do not behave as one.”

Spider states, “Only two people can control time. I am one of them, and that girl will learn everything I know.”

Ginger thought, “Oh, wow. So fate was coming true. She must be the chosen one for a elder to mentor her.”

Chapter 31:

Stacey informed Ginger that they had a strong psychic bond, and it seems Angus was to train her.

Ginger thought, “Shit is getting real confusing.”

Stacey says, “We’re learning from elders. This should be interesting.”

As they descended the stairs of court room, Rolan stops them at the elevator.

Rolan states, “Let’s ride down together.”

Stacey answers, “Sure, save electricity.”

Ginger asked, “Are you a witch too? I am not sure if there is a polite way to ask that or not.”

Rolan chuckles and responds, “It’s fine and to answer your question, No. I am not a witch. I am a vampire, and on the council at the bequest of my vampire lord Daniel.”

Stacey asked, “I don’t know much about vampire lore, but is the vampire lord the same as king?”

Rolan says, “Yes, he was the first vampire. He made the oldest vampires. The ones that can walk in the sun, or the second generations that don’t feed off blood like me.”

Ginger replies, “This is so fascinating. Too bad this is our stop.”

Ding.

The elevator.

Ginger steps in the doorway from the outside of city hall and the elevator.

Roan speaks, “I am sure my lord will want to meet you two.”

Stacey asks, “Really? Why?

Rolan states, “Don’t you know? He is the one that wrote the prophecy.”

Chapter 32:

Both Ginger and Stacey are rendered speechless. First being trained by elders, and now in the presence of the man who could tell them who the prophecy is about.

Stacey asked, “Can we meet him?”

Rolan says, “Sure. When are you free?”

Stacey replies, “Try now.”

Ginger states, “Wait. I want to see if
Jordan find anything about you know what.”

Stacey nods and responds, “When are you available?”

Rolan answers, “For you two, anytime. I’ll be in touch.”

He hands them each a business card, as they exit the elevator.

Stacey says, “My whole world was just turned upside down.”

Ginger replies, “Second that. You can say that again.”

Standing in front of city hall, the girls are in total shock. Stacey called
Jordan, as she slipped the card in her back pants pocket. Ginger stared at hers’ for a moment, while Stacey was on the phone.

Rolan Marcus Abcran, liaison to the vampire lord Daniel.

Ginger thought, “I can’t believe it actually says vampire lord.”

She laughed, when Stacy informs her that Jordan hasn’t found anything yet. Give him another day, or so.

Ginger huffs and responds, “Fine. When do you wanna meet count bite you?”

Stacey grins and says, “How about we speak to Jurnee first before we walk in blind.”

Ginger answers, “Good thinking.”

Chapter 33:

Leaving the magic city taking a portal, which opened up outside the huge mansion. Stacey gazed over at Ginger before she could ring the doorbell. A graceful Jurnee opens the door with a grin.

Stacey asks, “Had a vision did we?”

Jurnee shrugs and says, “What can I say?
 I am powerful.”

Stacey nods, as they follow her inside. Penny is in the kitchen making tarts and muffins.

Ginger wonders, “Are soul-mates real? These two seem like a fit, and find a rhythm easily together. True Penelope was or is straight. Love knows no reason, or has any explanation.”

Penny smiles at her,, as she brings a tray full of muffins into the foyer which is adjacent to the huge kitchen.

Stacey asks, “Can I have one?”

Jurnee states, “Try three. They are amazing.”

Ginger says, “What kind did you make?”

Penny answers, “Cinnamon. Chocolate-chip, banana chocolate-chip, blueberry, banana nut, and a variety with nuts.”

Stacey laughs.

Penny rolls her eyes, and responds, “ So what? I love nuts!”

Jurnee grins and says, “How about we sit and chat.”

Jurnee leads them towards the sofa in patio.

Ginger thinks, “This house is amazing.”

A view of a large backyard and a snap shot of the huge pool.

Ginger wonders, “Can I trade places with Penny? This place is a slice of heaven on earth.”

Chapter 34:

Jurnee is sitting next to Stacey and Penny. Ginger is on the lawn chair, whereas the others share the loveseat.

Penny asks, “What brings you girls by?”

Stacey responds, “Somebody made herself at home.”

Jurnee answers, “Of course. She is welcomed, and you two are as well. All my friends are free to drop by.”

Stacey nods and states, “We got to meet Rolan Abcran today.”

Jurnee replies, “Ah, him. Demetrius introduced us years ago. It seems like a lifetime now.”

Jurnee laughs.

Penny asks, “What? What’s is it?”

Jurnee stops laughing and answers, “It was a lifetime ago. Try three years ago when I was first turned.”
