“Welcome
to our group. Please feel free to contact me for brunch, shopping, spa or pub
outing anytime. As a group we do many things together and love to have you on
our team.” Minnie drank her champagne and placed the glass on the table beside
her.
Minnie got up,
smoothing down her top. She checked her hot pink lip-gloss in mirror adjacent
Grace’s chair. Grace watched Minnie saunter back to her seat and the other
ladies waved to her as a welcoming. Grace sat in disbelief.
These women think I did them a favour. How
odd?
The game ended
with the London Lions losing 2-1. Minnie laughed it off.
“It’s
you! Usually when the first time the love of a player’s life comes to visit,
they can’t focus on the game. Come, let me show you where you’ll meet Guy.”
Minnie said taking her arm.
Minnie
led the way to through the double doors to larger part of the clubhouse where
all the wives and girlfriends along with agents waited for the team greet them.
A small buffet was
set up for the team and the guests. The smell of roast beef made Grace
carnivorous. She quickly filled a plate with meats and vegetables along with
rolls. Minnie watched inquisitively. She told Grace to pace herself if she
wanted to lose her figure over it.
“I’m
hungry. I haven’t eaten for days.” Grace hurriedly explained. It felt like days
since she had a truly fitting meal and the chocolate croissant was long since
gone.
“I
think you’re more than hungry.” Minnie said. Her eyes were filled with knowing
looks. She knew the tell-tale signs of pregnancy when she saw one. Minnie
smiled at her, deciding it best to let Grace be.
Guy
was the first player to enter the room to a round of hisses and boo’s.
Its okay, my favourite faithful fan is
standing here!
Guy saw Grace watching him with her deep aqua eyes as he
came in waving off jeers. His hair wet from the shower. He was dressed in jeans,
London Lions jersey and crisp white trainers on making Grace feel meagre. Guy approached
Grace forcing her to put her plate and drink down. The twinkle in his eyes
showed how much he was happy to see her. He swept her into his arms kissing her.
The
kiss made the room, sounds of people whistling, and overall noise fall away. It
was as if it was just the two of them in one confined space. She didn’t want to
let go and this time Grace refused. This was her chance to prove to the world
that Guy was her man and hers alone.
No
other woman is going to take my place.
Guy pulled away to give Grace some
air. She blushed at the cheers.
“Let’s
go home.” he whispered in her ear. Grace agreed.

n the door, the key clicked and knob
twisted. With his foot Guy pushed the door open. He carried Grace into the flat
like newlywed bride. Mrs. Tiddlywinks barked at their feet.
“Let me down!”
Grace cried playfully.
“No. I want to
take you into the bedroom and make love to you.” Guy said.
Grace’s face fell.
She wasn’t ready for sex. She had to tell Guy the truth about everything that
happened and the baby.
“Guy, I’m not
ready and I want to talk.” Grace walked into the lounge picking up Tiddlywinks
into her arms. Grace rubbed the small dog behind her ears as she sat down on
Guy’s couch. Guy sat beside her.
“I understand
everything you’ve went through, Grace. If you need to speak to me about it, you
can. I’ll always listen. Are you afraid of me?” he questioned.
“No...I’m not
afraid of you. I know Trevor’s dead and gone. I know he’ll not be able to hurt
me. I’m afraid someone else may come along and do further damage.” she replied
uneasy.
Guy completely
understood. He placed a hand on Grace’s shoulder to look directly in her eyes.
“As long as we
stick together no one will do us harm. I’ve hired the best security team to
look after us. I assure you they’ll always be by your side.” Guy said robustly.
“I
still have nightmares about the ordeal. His hands on me and things that must’ve
went through his mind. It’s all so fresh and frightening. I’d never expected
him to be psychotic. I mean... the day he lashed out at me...yes he hit me, but
to kidnap me and do me harm?” Grace toyed her fingers nervously. Tiddlywinks
jumped off her lap to find a chew toy to gnaw at.
“Grace,
I’ll do anything to help you through this.” Guy meant every word he said. If he
had to pay for therapy he’d do it and no one has to know.
“Are
you afraid to go back to Delicious? Are you afraid to leave this flat on your
own?” he asked. Grace shook her head no.
“I’ve
to tell you something else Guy.” Grace said.
Guy
felt his stomach churning in revolt. He didn’t want to know if she’d been raped
by Trevor. The notion of Trevor doing something so ghastly to her was his own
personal nightmare. He tried his damndest not to focus on it.
“Guy,
please don’t be upset with me.” Grace pleaded.
“I’ll
never be upset with you. Just tell me.” Guy replied putting his arm around her
trying to comfort her into telling him what was distressing her.
“I..am...pregnant.”
Grace confessed at a snail's pace.
Guy
looked at her for a moment. His expression’s one of scepticism gradually
turning into ecstatic excitement.
“Are
you sure?” he gulped.
“Yes...I
found out the day of the kidnapping. I was five weeks pregnant then. I’m eight
weeks now.” Grace admitted. “If you don’t want me now that I’m pregnant, let me
know. I can stay with Alistair until I sort out my flat and move elsewhere.”
Grace added. Grace searched Guy’s face for any clue that he’s disturbed by her
news.
Guy
leapt up and looked down at Grace.
It’s
incredulous for Grace to think that I wouldn’t want the baby.
Random thoughts
raced in Guy’s mind. The penthouse flat boasted three bedrooms. But to Guy a
penthouse flat in Canary Wharf wasn’t an ideal place to raise his future child.
Also what child is raised with parents
who aren’t married?
Guy was well aware of many parents who aren’t married
and raised their children happily, but Guy didn’t want
his
baby to be born out of wedlock. It was an old fashion way of
thinking,
this is what I want and I want
it
for us.
They needed to marry
immediately.
“Guy?”
Grace questioned as she watched him in thought.
“Grace,
let’s get married!” Guy exclaimed.
Grace
looked perplexed. The last thing she wanted was a wedding.
Marriage yes, wedding no.
“Guy,
I said I’m pregnant. I’m not forcing you down the aisle or asking for hand in
marriage. My family won’t approve. They don’t approve of this baby and they
mean the world to me. We’re no longer on speaking terms.” Grace said getting up
pulling his hands towards her.
“Yes,
but I’m asking you. Grace Ann Knowles, will you marry me? Will you and the baby
spend the rest of your life with me? Share our lives together for infinite time
being and grow old together?” Guy looked at her, eyes full of intense, raw,
emotional, love and intentions. Grace didn’t know how to respond except her
heart screamed yes.
“We
don’t have to have a big wedding reception. In fact we don’t have to have a
wedding at all. It can be just the two of us. We have the trip to the Maldives
planned, we can marry there on the beach. You and me! No one else. No wedding
party or cake just an officiator and a sunset dinner for two.” Guy elaborated.
The
more Guy relished on the idea of marriage the more Grace was certain of her
answer. She knew her old life was over with. She wanted her life with Guy and
to accept it was to help put the past to rest. It’d be just the two of them and
baby.
“
Yes! Yes!
” Grace shrieked back throwing
her arms around him. Guy kissed her hard holding her tight.
“I’ll
never ever let you go again. Anywhere I go you go and so will this baby.
Tomorrow I’m calling Portland Hospital. I want only the best for my wee one and
you.” Guy said rubbing his palm over Grace’s tummy.
Grace was barely
showing, but expanding. Grace decided to wear stretch leggings because her size
ten jeans no longer fit.
“And if you’re
having trouble with memories and feelings Grace, we’ll get you help. Sometimes
you may need someone to talk to, to help us through the rough patches. Anything
you need is at your disposal.” he added.
Grace
rubbed her face into the crook of Guy’s neck.
This is where I want to be, always.
Guy lifted her into his arms to
carry her into his bedroom. He placed Grace on the bed. Guy peeled her clothes
away making Grace tremble with fear.
“Don’t
think I’ll hurt you. I don’t have to make love to you to prove how much I want
or love you. I just want to feel you, caress you and show you what truly love
is. I want to take away all those horrible feelings you’re harbouring. Please realise
that I’m not Trevor or any other man. I’m the man who’s about to be your
husband.” Guy said as he stood before Grace who sat on the bed with her legs
curled behind her.
“You’re
in charge.” Guy added. Grace humbly nodded.
“Take
off your shirt.” Grace ordered softly.
She needed to see
Guy with his shirt off. The image of Trevor ingrained in her and she wanted it
out. She wanted to see Guy in all his muscular glory with his tight six pack
abs and ripped biceps. She loved when he pulled the shirt over his head how it
ruffled his jet black hair. Grace reached up to touch him.
“All
I want to do is lay down with you.” Grace whispered. “I want you to hold me and
tell me we’re going to be alright.”
“I
can do that.” Guy said kissing on her forehead. Grace fell backward and they
laid side by side curled facing each other. Grace caressed Guy’s face. Guy
pulled Grace close, kissing her delicately against her lips.
“Mrs.
Grace Ann Rowling.” he whispered. “Can you handle that?”
“I’ve
come this far.” Grace replied. “I think I can handle a change.” They’re true
survivors and prospect of marriage and baby didn’t seem daunting at all. Their
future looking better and brighter than ever before.
Grace
leaned over to kiss Guy. This time she wanted to go further. She wanted to wash
away the traces of Trevor’s lips on her body by making love to Guy. The kiss
was sweet, romantic and loving. It wasn’t the rush of two lost lovers needing
each other after time separated them for so long. This was tender, saccharine
and proper like a love that spanned the ages of time and endured the weathered
fringes of life.
Grace
dragged herself up on top of Guy’s body.
I’m
in charge.
Guy held her hair back softly behind her neck as she came
forward to continue kissing. Her silky caramel hair weaved through his fingers.
Grace moved away to lay her head over his beating heart.
“Do
you hear that Grace?” Guy asked as she listened to the slow thumping beat of
his heart. She nodded against his chest.
“It
only beats for you.” Guy replied softly.
Grace
placed her chin on his chest and grinned.
“Always...”
she added drawing herself back up to kiss him again.
Guy
reached up to touch the blades of her shoulders. He slowly pulled down the
straps of her bra watching her face for any change to say that she did not want
this. Grace relented. He tossed her bra to the floor. She threw her head back
and moaned low as the tips of his fingers traced their way down the tops of her
breast over peaks of her nipples. Her breasts swollen, larger than before and
her nipples took on a scarlet flush that wasn’t her normal rosy glow. He ran
his thumb against them making Grace in growing enthusiasm, gyrate against Guy’s
jeans.
Guy
took one of her nipples into his mouth. He gradually licked the harden bud
suckling Grace to the point she could feel the walls of her womb tightening.
She was wet, gloriously wet.
Only Guy can make me this wet, not some crazy man.
The more Guy suckled, the more Grace moved her body against him.
She wanted him inside her to reach the state of ecstasy which she knew was
filled with cosmic sexual explosions and the promise of post sex tranquillity.
“Please
Guy.” Grace purred.
Guy
continued suckling and caressing of her extremely sensitive breasts. He knew
that if he continued she’d most likely orgasm before having his fill of her.
She started pleading and he felt dampness between them. He pulled her away to
look up at her.
“Are
you sure you want to do this?” Guy asked. “Is it safe for the baby?” he
searched her face for the answers.
Grace
bit her lip and nodded shyly. Goose pimples ran up and down the length of her body
at the thought of mind blowing sex with Guy. She rolled off of Guy as he got up
to take his jeans off. He looked back at Grace who stared at him as the soft
black cotton Jasper Conran boxer brief came off. He turned around, his cock
pompously protruding through the darkness of his pubic hair. Grace gasped.
Looking at Guy is like seeing David by
Michelangelo for the first time, spellbinding.
Grace was in awe of him even after the many
times they spent together in bed.
“Lay
down, Grace.” Guy said.
She
did as she was told and he brought his fingers to the fine delicate waistband
of her underwear. Leisurely he rolled them off over her legs, down around her
ankles and off her feet dropping them on his pile of clothing.
“I
don’t want to be on top. I want you in charge. I want you to be sure you want
to do this.” Guy said taking his place beside her.
Guy
caressed her soft skin and tummy again still reeling from the surprise of a
baby. He didn’t want to hurt her and he surely didn’t want to do anything that
would hurt the baby. Grace saw Guy uneasy, she assured him it was ok. She
mounted him again, leaning in for a kiss with her sweet swollen pussy inches
away from his bulbous head. Guy felt her wetness so close and he gritted his teeth
in anticipation. Just the thought of pushing her musky creamy lips with his
pre-cum wet cock was thrilling.
Grace
kissed and licked his neck. She brought her mouth to his nipples licking them
pleasingly. These weren’t the ghastly white pierced ones that Trevor had, Guy
was tan and untouched. His body warm and inviting. Guy sucked in his breath and
hissed.
“You
don’t know what you do to me.” he managed to say as she looked down at him
starry eyed.
