“That was quick,” Oliver smirked, opening his door with his shirt undone. He wasn’t playing fair! “I was about to have a quick shower, but that can wait now.” I stormed into his room without waiting for an invitation. I was livid that he was here, that he’d hacked the Seductors servers. “You’re still angry with me?” he frowned, closing the door.

“I’m more than angry!” I threw my bag and coat onto the couch, turning to face him. “Didn’t you listen to anything I told you?”

“I did, yes.”

“Then what the fuck are you doing here?!”

“You lied, Jade,” he muttered, taking small steps toward me. “You didn’t change out the power core for your benefit. You did it because you love me.”

“Not this again.” I tried to laugh off his comment.

“They promised you the Jade Gibbs identity if you completed the mission, so long as I didn’t discover who you really were. You wanted to be with me, Jade. Stop denying it! I know
everything
.” Oliver stripped me bare with his statement. I had nothing to fight back with. He was right; I wanted him then just like I wanted him now. “Stop fighting this,” he murmured, standing right in front of me while pulling me into his arms.

“I had to,” I whimpered. I tried pushing away from his hold but he wouldn’t let me go.

“Why?”

“To keep you safe,” I sobbed. “I’m not the selfish bitch I once was. Giving you up kept you alive. I had no other choice.”

“You have a choice now, Beautiful. I’ll make everything okay, I promise.”

“Oliver, there is no other way. We can’t be together.” I didn’t even realize I was crying until I noticed the tear stains on his shirt.

“Trust me, Jade. I’ll find a way.” I wanted to believe him but it was impossible. Oliver couldn’t stand up against The Seductors alone. “Hey,” he cooed, lifting my chin. “No tears. I hate seeing you cry.”

“You don’t know what it’s been like for me. I’ve been slowly dying inside ever since you found out who I really was. Having to turn my back on the
only
person who has ever made me feel good about myself…I’ve never felt pain like it. Not even after M…Mina.” Oliver held me tightly against him.

“You don’t have to give me up. I’m not going anywhere. I love you, Jade. We’ll work it out.”

“I love you, too.” I looked directly into his dark orbs, letting him see that I meant every word. “So much it hurts to be apart from you.” Within seconds, his lips were on mine, answering every unanswered question I had. He’d done all of this just to find me and keep me safe. I didn’t deserve it, but with a love like ours, how could we not fight for it? He wanted me to trust him, and I would do just that. I didn’t want to go another day without him.

He obviously had a plan, and I couldn’t
wait
to learn what that was. Could we be together and be safe? Originally, I had thought that it was impossible, but if anyone could do it, I knew Oliver could.

I loved him enough to know he’d do anything to protect me, and I would do the same for him.

“Make love to me,” I whispered against his mouth, wrapping my arms around his neck. He didn’t need to be told twice. Within seconds, he scooped me up into his arms and carried me to the bed.

Chapter Fifteen

Oliver's
fingers glided down my bare stomach. “You’re still clothed,” I giggled, sitting up and reaching for his shirt.

“You know I can’t resist stripping you naked first.”

“But I love you naked, too. Abs like yours should not be hidden.” He chuckled softly, running his hands down my back while I removed his shirt.

“Perhaps we should make a rule of always sleeping naked in bed then.” He leaned down kissing the corner of my mouth.

“You really do have the best ideas,” I giggled as he captured my lips, pushing me back against the mattress. It was so unlike me not wanting to take the lead, but with Oliver, I wanted to give him the control. I basked in it, knowing he could take me to heights I’d never been before.

His hands were back on my body, stroking and squeezing. Soon his lips joined in, helping the glorious sensations coursing throughout my entire being.

“I could never give
this
up,” Oliver whispered into my skin. “I’m addicted to you, Jade. No one else could ever compete with you. You’ve ruined me for any other women.” Hip lips moved lower toward my pubic bone. I needed to feel his hot, talented mouth between my legs. Moving my hands into his hair, I squirmed as he bit down on the inside of my thigh.

“Oh, please!” I begged. “You have no idea how much I love you going down on me!”

“Mmm…is that so?” His breath fanned across my heat. “You do have the most intoxicating scent.” He slipped his fingers inside me and I bolted off the bed. “Finger and tongue, or just tongue?” He was asking me? I couldn’t decide. “Maybe I’ll use both. It will make you cum quickly, and you’re never more mine than when you come undone by my hands.”

“Oliver I’ve been yours for well over a year,” I groaned. He began to lap my entrance with his tongue, teasing me as he slowly moved his fingers in and out of me.

“It’s not enough, Jade. I won’t rest until you are free of The Seductors.”

“You’re talking madness. You don’t have that kind of power.”

“Are you sure about that?” I could hear the smirk in his voice as he began to massage that special spot inside me.

“Fuck,
” I gasped, rocking my hips against his face. He sucked my clit into his mouth, humming in satisfaction. I quickly began to build. “Shit, Oliver, I…I’m…”

“I know, Baby,” he cooed before I fell. Oliver orgasms—I’d never get enough of them.

He made his way back up my body with his lips. During what must have been while I was in state of bliss a few moments earlier, he’d stripped himself of the rest of his clothes.

“We’ll take this one slow. Let me love you, Jade,” he pleaded as he nudged my sex with his erection.

“You don’t have to ask. Oliver, you have me. I’m yours.” He closed his eyes, letting my words wash over him before slowly pushing inside me. His rhythm was slow and loving. We kissed and caressed while our bodies grinded against each other. Time felt as if it had stood still. All I could see and feel was the man I loved.

“How are you planning on getting me free from The Seductors?” I asked hours later as I lay wrapped up in his arms.

“You don’t need to know that. I don’t want to complicate things for you.”

“I’m worried. I won’t lose you.” I moved to look at him. “If anything happened to you, Oliver, I…I…”

“Hush, Beautiful. You don’t need to worry about that. I have everything covered. I’m quite clever, you know,” he smirked, nipping at my neck.

“Yeah, you are a nerd, I guess.”

“Hey!” He pinned me down, holding both of my hands in his. “I’ve come all this way to save your sexy ass. You could at least be nice to me.”

“Oh, I could be
really
nice to you if you wanted,” I purred, running my nails down his back.

“Is that so? And how would you do that?”

“What do you want me to do?”

“What
can
you do?” He had a playful look in his eyes.

“Oliver, I’m a trained Seductor. I can do
anything
.”

“Anything?”

“Anything.” I felt his length begin to grow against my stomach. “You like that idea, huh?” I grinned, running my hands down his chest and briefly stroking the tip of his cock.

“That is so fucking hot. I thought you were sexy before, but now…shit. You
are
my dream woman!”

“What do you want?”

“I want you to fuck the shit out of me, but we really need to talk. I have so much to tell you.”

“Maybe we should get dressed then. We get a little distracted when we’re both naked.”

“Mm…I wonder why,” he whispered, kissing me deeply, pulling on my bottom lip. He was turning me on again. I giggled, slapping his back. “Okay, okay,” he sighed, moving off me and jumping out of bed. He really did have the most fantastic ass.
And that ass is all yours, Jade!
Well, it wasn’t yet, but we were working on it.

“Can I borrow one of your shirts?”

“I’m not sure that
will help me keep my hands off you,” he called, throwing a shirt at me while I sat up in bed.

“It must be better than being naked.”

“Yeah, but you wearing my shirt is a close second,” he winked. “Did you want a beer?”

“Please,” I replied, standing up to get dressed.

He set the drinks down in the living area next to the bedroom.

“So what do you know about the origin of the company you’re working for?”

“We aren’t told anything. We report to Sonia, who’s the top dog there, and that’s all we need to know.”

“Her real name isn’t Sonia.” What? “Her grandfather was the founder of The Seductors.”

“No!” I gasped.

“Winston Starling was a spy in World War II. He ran a secret operation that used courtesans to gain information from their enemy. He fell in love with one of them and, once the war was over, The Seductors organization was created. They’ve made a very profitable business. I have to admit, their level of technology surprised me, but they’ve been lucky. They have some clever brains working for them.”

“Miles is a genius,” I muttered.

“Is that they guy who runs intelligence?” I nodded. “I should offer him a job.”

“You’d get along with him. He’s a nerd, too,” I giggled.

“So, what is Sonia’s real name, then?”

“Jennifer Starling.” She sure as hell didn’t look like a Jennifer to me.

“How did you find all of this out?”

“We’ve checked the entire system.”

“Then you know everything about me, too. Oliver, what are you still doing here? You should be running as far from me as possible.”

“Jade, I’m not going to judge you for a past that I wasn’t part of. I know you had your reasons. You sure made a lot of money for them, though.”

“I’m good at my job.”

“Do you love this job more than me?”

“What?” Why was he asking that? “Of course not!”

“If I could get you out, would you be happy about that?”

“I’ve signed a contract. I have over four years left. I don’t see how you could do that without getting us both killed. The Seductors have rules. If we break them, we’re dead. We’ll be tracked down and eliminated. If you’ve checked the system, then you know what they are capable of. The Seductors have trained
assassins
working for them. We can’t run. They’ll strike when you least expect it!”

“They don’t scare me, and I’ve seen the rules. We’ve broken them already. You are
more
than attached to me, Jade. I’m not giving you up. Not now, not ever.”

“They’ll kill us, Oliver. Don’t you get it?”

“Have a little faith, Beautiful. I’m still trying to work it all out. I don’t want any harm coming to you.”

“I’ve told you before, I’m a big girl. I can take care of myself.”

“I’m aware of that, but I don’t want you to become a bargaining tool. If they find out it’s me who hacked their system, they will automatically know that it’s you I’m looking for.”

“Not to mention they’ll wonder why you aren’t tracking me down to kill me after I stole your
power core.”

“Jade, if you had taken the real core I would still love you. You were doing a job. I can’t hate you for that. Imogen will pay for her deceit one day, though.” I had been right. It
was
that bitch I’d been working for. “I’m looking into everyone at my company.
Someone
is leaking information to her. There is no other way she could have learned about my core.”

“So I was right?”

“She paid quite the price to hire you both times, too.”

“Have you spoken to her?”

“Not yet. I was planning on doing that once I have you firmly by my side.”

“You mean like a tag team? I’d gladly slap the bitch for you.” Oliver snorted, shaking his head at me. “What?”

“I’m still trying to get used to the real you. The Jade I first knew wouldn’t say anything like that.”

“Is that a bad thing?”

“No, I love you, Jade. Every single side of you.” I sighed in relief. That had always been my biggest fear—that he wouldn’t like the real me.

“So you’ll let me slap Imogen?” I smirked.

“I’ll think about it.” His eyes gleamed as he took another sip of his beer.

“What have you told your uncle about me?” I suddenly thought. “Does he know who I really am?”

“No, I told him you left me because you saw Alicia make a pass at me. It was the easiest thing to do, seeing as you both disappeared. I told him you thought something was going on between Alicia and me so you ran. He was a smug son of a bitch for months.”

“Alicia is my arch enemy. We can’t stand each other.”

“I gathered that.”

“The Seductors were never going to let me be with you,” I whispered. “Alicia didn’t sabotage my mission to be vindictive. She was ordered to.”

“By who?”

“Sonia, or Jennifer…whatever her name is. She doesn’t know I found out. Molly will get into trouble if they ever do. Please, Oliver, you can’t do anything that will hurt my friends.”

“Wait, who the hell is Molly?”

“Shouldn’t you know all of this if you hacked the system?” I asked, ignoring his question.

“I haven’t gone through everything yet, just what I thought I could use to free you from them.”

“You met her once…Molly,” I said, going back to his original question. “She was the receptionist in St. Petersburg. She’s a Seductor, too.”

“The other crazy redhead?” he mused, tilting his head. I nodded. “So Georgie and Drew. They’re Seductors, as well?”

“Yes, although, Molly’s real hair color is brown. They’re my closest friends. I’d be lost without them.” Wait. Would I have to give them up if I went with Oliver?

“So you want them in your life?”

“Yes.”

“What if it was them or me?” His eyes were soft as he gazed at me. “I’m not saying it will come to that, but it’s an possibility.”

I took a deep breath. There was no real contest. I adored my friends, but Oliver was my world. “I’d pick you. It would break my heart to leave them behind, but being with you means everything to me. You make me feel whole.” Oliver sighed deeply.

“I’ll need to leave for Washington DC tomorrow. I have a lot to sort out. I can’t believe the lengths they went to in order to keep us apart.”

“Why Washington?” I frowned. “Are you flying on a fake name again?” I knew he had to be. Miles would have tracked him by now if that
wasn't the case.

“No, Jade, I have complete control of The Seductors’ servers. I could even fly you with me and make your tracker look as if you were still here.” Was he for real?

“Are you being serious? How the hell did you manage that?”

“The same way they tapped into the military database. Only our software is more advanced.”

“Take me with you then.”

“It’s too dangerous. You’ll be safer here. I need to make all the preparations first.” I tried not to pout but failed. “Give me a few days—a week at the most. I’ll sort this out, Jade. I promise.”

“I wish you’d tell me how you plan on doing that!”

“I’ll explain everything when we’re back together for good.” Was this really happening? Could he and I
really
be together?

“You better,” I sighed playfully, finishing my beer.

“It’s late. We should sleep. I’ll need to catch an early flight in the morning.”

“But we have so much to talk about. You didn’t tell me the full story about Sonia. Does she own The Seductors?”

“We can talk about that once we’re really together. You can check the system yourself. You’ll understand the codes better than anyone else anyway. They aren’t easy to decipher.”
