CHAPTER NINE
)(
Arianna

When I heard my sister come through the door that evening from work, I hadn’t found the strength to get out of bed. I couldn’t tell if my stupor was caused by the hangover or how upset I was with myself for being a drunken mess in front of Rhett.

I heard Brea set her purse and keys on the kitchen counter before stepping into her bedroom. My door was wide open, however, it seemed as though she had decided not to pay attention to me. The sun beamed brightly through my sister’s window, illuminating her tidy bedroom. I, on the other hand, kept the curtains and blinds closed, leaving me in a ditch of darkness to marinate in my depression.

“Are you just going to pretend that I’m not here?” I asked her from my dark room. I saw Brea open her closet as she began to undress from her work clothes. Quickly, she turned around, and I thought that my sister was coming to greet me. Instead, she shut the door behind her. This only made me feel more alone. “You can’t ignore me forever!”

I would never want to admit it to Brea, but I knew that my sister had every right to be angry with me. I remember her dragging me to bed that morning, but I still didn’t see what the fuss was about. There were plenty of times that I heard her gripe about work and boys. Now she’s acting as though I’m not allowed to have a pitfall.

As soon as Brea opened her door, I saw that she was wearing a small, cropped t-shirt and black sleeping pants. It was the outfit that I bought her for Christmas, and it was the first time that I had seen my sister wear it.

“Is it comfortable?” I asked from my bed. Brea looked inside of my room. It was so dark in there that I wondered if she could see me at all.

“Yes,” she said softly. “I like it very much.” Then she turned the corner and walked down the hallway toward the living room.

I was attempting to make nice conversation with her, and all my sister could do was give me a bitchy reply. When I first moved into her place, Brea left me to my own devices. Since I became more active, she seemed to resent my every move.

“Brea!” I shouted as I sprang from my bed. The silver sheets clung to me and pulled from under the comforter and onto the floor. I burst through the doorway and down the hall to see her with her head in hands on the couch. “What the hell is wrong with you?”

“Arianna...” she said in a calm tone. “Please just leave me alone for now.“

              “No!” I shouted. “I’m
not
leaving you alone and I’m
not
taking any more of your bullshit.”

              “
My
bullshit?” Brea screamed. “What the hell are you talking about?”

              “You know
exactly
what I’m talking about! You love to feel better than your slutty, broken sister.”

“We’re going around in circles,” Brea sighed. “Honestly, I’ve had the absolute worst day of my life and I just want to eat dinner and then go to bed.”

“There you go,” I said. “Everything has to be about you.”

              “Maybe I want
my
life to be about
me
!” she shouted. “I work my ass off all day long just so that you can sit around recovering from a night of binge drinking!”

“If you’ve got something to say, Brea, why don’t you just come out with it? That way it’s not bubbling under the surface, waiting to tear my face off!”

“Look, if you’re going to live here, then you need to start treating me with respect. I can’t come home every day to hear you screaming at the top of your lungs about shoes or whatever you’ve decided has annoyed you. It’s driving me insane!”

I could see my sister heaving as she sat on the couch. I paced the room with my fists clenched. I wanted to punch a hole in the wall, but I knew that it would get me kicked out of the apartment.

“I can’t take this anymore!” I screamed. “I feel like I live under your microscope of judgment. I bet you just
love
thinking that your sister is throwing her life away while you can lead a responsible life. That way you can come home and talk down to me about the places that I go, just so that you can feel better than someone else.”

“Are you being serious right now? When have I ever talked down to you? You are the one who screams from the top of your lungs at me every time that I come home from work.”

“That’s because you ignore me or shoot me these looks of complete disregard!”

              “I’m not doing that, Arianna.”

“Yes you are! Every day I get the same shitty treatment from you.”

“How is that even possible?” Brea yelled. “I’ve been supporting you this entire time while you spend my money at some sleazy bar!”

“Great, so you want to hold that over my head, too?”

“Look, I’m sorry,” she said. “I know that you’ve been through a lot, and that’s why I want to help you. If I had been raped, I would have–”

“Stop!” I screamed. The sound of my voice seemed to ricochet off of the walls. I was furious that she brought up what happened to me. If there was anything that set me over the edge, it was putting the violence into words. “Mom tried to corner me, too, remember? She keeps using that word, Brea, and I can’t fucking take it!”

“I’m just worried about you!” my sister said with tears forming in her eyes.

“Fuck you, Brea,” I said. “Stop trying to make it look like you are the one who is the victim.”

“I’m not doing that!’ she sobbed. “I’m worried that you’re hurting yourself!”

“I’ve just been sitting here all day! No guys, no alcohol; just me!”

“I’m not talking about today, Arianna. You were out partying all night and probably screwing God knows who.”

              “That’s none of your business.”

“Do you have any more self-respect?”

“You fucking bitch!” I yelled. “This is my life, Brea, and I don’t need you being such a cunt.”

“Then go,” she said as she collapsed onto the couch. “Get the hell out of here so that I don’t have to worry about you every damn day.”

“You want me gone?” I asked. “Fine, I’ll leave. But, just for the record, you are just as big of a bitch as mom.” I saw my jacket resting on the arm of the couch, but I didn’t stop for it as I raced out of the door.

The air was much colder than I had expected. I missed my leather jacket as my pajamas hardly kept me warm enough. I needed to find a place to stay the night. Rhett would have been a good choice though I didn’t have a way of getting hold of him. Plus, he seemed to judge me just like my sister. Instead, I opted for a surefire bet.

After walking for a few miles, my mouth was chattering from the whirling breeze. Cars whizzed by my side as I walked along the highway toward my destination. Soon enough, I found the Angora Hills R.V. Park off of the main road. Barefoot, I walked through patches of fake grass and lawn ornaments until I saw Jesse’s motorcycle.

To my relief, the lights were on in his trailer. I was hoping that he was alone so that I could pay my dues. Of course, that would mean fucking him until he was satisfied. Still, I could use a good lay to take my mind off of things.

Bang! Bang! Bang!
I rattled the screen with every knock. Then the door swung open, and I saw Jesse’s angry face glaring at me. He was wearing loose-fitted shorts and a black tank that showed off his beefy, tattooed arms.

“Damn, you look like shit,” he said.

“Can I come in?” I asked while shivering. Jesse opened the screen door, and I quickly moved into the warmth of his trailer. The space was much roomier than I had remembered. While Jesse and I had hooked up on many occasions, he had only taken me back to his trailer once before.

Most of the countertops had wooden coverings, and the walls had emblems from Jesse’s bike gang hanging on them. I was studying my surroundings when I heard the door slam shut.

“What are you doing here?” he asked before grabbing a beer out of a mini fridge.

“I need a place to crash tonight,” I said.

“And so you thought about me?” he shook his head. “What about the pretty boy you’ve been flaunting in front of me?”

“Rhett?” I said casually. “He’s nothing to me.”

“Oh yeah? Then why did he take you home the other night.”

“I didn’t go back with him, baby,” I said as I approached Jesse. I knew that in order for him to let me stay, I would need to give him an extra little push. “All I needed was a ride. He’s just a little pussy who couldn’t handle a girl like me. You, on the other hand, always know how to make me come.”

I glided my fingers across the front of Jesse’s shirt. His skin was smooth, but his muscles were like rocks underneath. Before I could continue, he grabbed my wrist and forced me toward him. His lips met mine with a rough, wet kiss. The flavor of his beer prickled against my tongue.

Then both of his hands reached down and lifted me off of the floor. A moment later, and he threw me onto the bed. Off came his tank, showing the full ink spread across his body.

“Suck my cock,” he commanded as he pulled down his shorts. Soon, the muscular biker was standing naked in front of me with his rock hard cock. I crawled to the edge of the bed and placed this thick mushroom tip between my lips. Then I applied some pressure as I began sucking on his savory meat. “Fuck yes, you give the best head, baby.”

I continued to move my lips around his thick cock. Then he grabbed the back of my head and shoved himself down my throat. I thought that I was going to gag, but I did everything I could to relax myself. The moment was terrifying, but I also found myself completely aroused. Finally, he released me, and I fell onto the bed.

“Take off your clothes,” Jesse grunted. I did want I was told, but it wasn’t fast enough. He crashed onto the bed and began tugging at my jacket. I thought the zipper was going to tear off as he pulled it apart across my chest. Then came my top and, finally, my bottoms. Soon, I was only in a thong lying underneath his mounds of muscle.

Jesse’s mouth pushed onto my shoulder, and I felt his teeth sink into my skin. My head rolled backward in pleasure as I felt his hand pull off my thong. Moments later, he was inside of me, his cock thrusting in and out of my opening.

He grabbed my hair and spun me around onto my stomach. Then he grabbed my ass with one hand and began pounding me rapidly from behind. I tried to look backward to see him in action, but his hand was too entwined in my hair. He wanted my ass back and my face forward, taking every inch of his thrusting cock.

Just when I thought that I couldn’t handle more of his aggressive pounding, Jesse pulled out, leaving me on my hands and knees. He lifted my thighs onto his shoulders, and I felt his facial hair racing across my pussy. Every lap of his tongue only made my opening wetter. He loved to taste me after I had been fucked– and I loved it as well.

When Jesse had his fill, he plugged himself back inside of me. I felt his hand grip my hair tightly near the scalp as he forced me onto the bed. My face smashed against the wood panel on the side, but I didn’t care. His moves were too good, like electricity rocketing through my body.

“Fuck!” I screamed as he pounded me harder. “Yes!” Gushes of pleasure exploded from inside of me. Jesse roared, slowing his pounding to long, harsh thrusts. When he finished, I felt him fall onto the bed beside me in a sweaty, muscled mass.

Suddenly, I had forgotten all about my fight with my sister and I had a warm place to sleep. It turned out that all I needed was to be fucked like a ragdoll to feel good again. My face wore an etched in smile as I collapsed on the bed next to my sweaty, beefy biker.

CHAPTER TEN
)(
Brea

I almost jumped off of the couch when I heard the doorbell chime. I felt confused as I scanned the room for clues to the time.
9:45pm
read the time on the clock. I realized that I must have fallen asleep on the couch after my argument with Arianna. All I wanted to do was go back to sleep, however, my stomach was grumbling.

Ring!

There was the doorbell again. I didn’t know who could be visiting this time of night, but I still decided to investigate. Looking up from the couch, I saw that the door was wide open. A good-looking man in his mid to late twenties was standing just outside of the door.

“Hello?” I said. “How can I help you?”

“Hey, Arianna,” said the man. “I just wanted to see if you were okay.”

“Arianna isn’t here,” I said. Now she had guys following her home from the bars. The notion started to worry me. “And I would appreciate it if you didn’t open the door to my home.”

“Oh, I’m sorry,” he said. “The door was wide open when I came up the stairs.” I felt how cold the apartment was, and it seemed as though he could be telling the truth.

“What was your name?” I asked as I stood from the couch with my arms wrapped around my body.

“I’m Rhett,” he said while holding out his hand.

“Oh, Rhett,” I said while grabbing his handshake. “I’ve heard about you.”

“You must be the twin,” he said. “Somehow, I pictured you looking a little different...”

“You mean like a bitch?” I asked.

“Sorry,” he squinted.

“Arianna loves to paint me to be the villain,” I sighed. “It was nice of you to come by though.”

“I just wanted to make sure that she was okay,” he said. “I drove her home last night and she seemed pretty trashed.”

“Thank you for doing that,” I said as a breeze swirled through Rhett’s hair. When it touched my skin, I could feel how chilly it was. “Do you want to come inside for a moment? That draft is killing me.”

“Sure,” he said and I opened the door and let the handsome stranger inside the apartment. Looking down, I saw a motorcycle parked at the bottom of the steps.

“That’s a beautiful bike,” I said as I closed the door.

“Thank you,” Rhett grinned as he pulled off his jacket. He was wearing a dark thermal Henley that fit tightly to his chest. I could see that Rhett appeared athletically built all around his body.

“So, how do you know my sister?” I asked. “Just from the bar?”

“Yes,” he answered. “We met a few nights ago.”

“And that’s when you started dating?”

“Dating?” Rhett smiled. “We’re not involved romantically.”

“But you drove your motorcycle over here just to see her?” None of this was making any sense to me.

“Your sister seemed troubled last night,” he said. “I know what that’s like, so I just wanted to make sure that she was doing better.”

“You’re a good guy, Rhett,” I said. “Thank you for looking after my sister. Sometimes, I wonder if I’m a terrible person for not being more understanding of her better.”

“Family is difficult,” Rhett said. “My brother and I get along well now, but when I was a troubled kid, he wasn’t too happy with me.”

“What did he do?” I asked.

“A lot of tough love,” Rhett said with his head down. “I couldn’t be more thankful that he did though.”

“So I should keep being the bitchy sister?”

“The truth sometimes hurts– but it can also be the best remedy.”

“Can you tell that to Arianna?” I joked. “I just feel like I can’t ever get a break for myself with her around. I even worry about meeting guys and what they will think when they meet her.”

“Zero dating life?” he asked.

“Except for a few terrible ones, I’m virtually dateless.”

“I’m sorry to hear that,” said Rhett. “I can relate to that myself. I know this sounds dumb, but I’ve decided to stay celibate until I find the right girl.”

“That’s not dumb,” I said. “In fact, I find that very honorable.”

“Thank you,” he said. “Well, I better get going here. Please tell Arianna that I stopped by to ask how she was doing.”

“I will,” I said. Rhett had a calm demeanor that made me feel positive and happy for the first time in a while. Even around Gavin I had always felt uneasy. Rhett, however, just knew the right things to say. “Listen, I’m starving and was about to order a pizza. Do you want to stay around for a bit?”

“I wouldn’t want to impose,” he said.

“You wouldn’t be,” I smiled. “I’m happy to offer– and I’d be even happier for the company on a Friday night. Plus, I’ve got beer...”

“Okay, I’m sold,” he said.

“Great,” I grinned. I ordered the pizza, and it arrived about thirty minutes later. In the meantime, Rhett and I had various conversations about our past and our present situations. I found out that he built motorcycles with his brother and planned to open a bike shop. He said that hung around Mickey’s to study the possible clients he’d be working with though most of them seemed too rugged. I told him about my job as a secretary, but I left out the bit about Gavin. It just seemed too soon, and I didn’t want to put a damper on the fun we were having.

The best part, however, was talking about the past. When the topic moved from careers to what our childhoods were like, we had a lot in common.

“So your parents forced you to play sports, too?” he laughed before taking a bite of his pizza. We were sitting on the couch, entertaining each other with childhood horrors.

“I hated basketball the most!” I said.

“Me, too!” Rhett laughed. “The entire season, I only scored one basket.”

“The same with me!” I said as I smacked him playfully on the shoulder. I could feel how solid it was through the fabric of his shirt. “What position were you?”

“Oh, I don’t know,” he said. “I was the one next to the basket where it’s difficult to see the depth of where to score.”

“I can’t believe this,” I said. “That was the same position that I played!”

“How insane,” Rhett sighed as he looked up at the mantel above the fireplace. “And that’s the one photo you have of your sister when you were kids?”

“Unfortunately,” I sighed. “For some reason, that’s the only one that I can find. My mother refuses to talk about my sister, so I haven’t been able to ask for more.”

“It’s funny,” he said. “You guys don’t look much alike in this picture.”

“Arianna would love to hear that; she’s dyed her hair black just to distance herself from me.”

“Is that your natural colored hair?” he asked as he touched one of my locks. I felt a flutter inside my chest as Rhett grazed his fingers through my hair.

“Yes,” I said. “The same as our father.”

“It’s beautiful,” he said.

“Thank you,” I blushed. Our eyes met for a moment, but I looked away. The coffee table was covered with empty beer bottles, and I felt a little tipsy from drinking them.

Unexpectedly, I felt Rhett’s hand touch the bottom of my chin. He moved my face over so that our gaze could reconnect. He had the most beautiful hazel eyes that I had ever seen. They were dark green on the outside with bursts of golden color just around the pupils. I wanted to compliment them, but before I could, Rhett leaned over and kissed me.

His touch was magnetic. Not only did our lives connect in many different ways, but so did our chemistry. Rhett’s lips moved perfectly around mine as his hands found their way to the small of my back. I pulled my arms up and gripped tightly around his shoulders.

I started to feel worried. My sister had told me that she liked Rhett, and I was in the middle of making out with him on our couch. I knew that I should pull away, but our connection was too strong. I could feel heat building between us. My heart raced as our motions became stronger and more intended.

Suddenly, I heard the front door squeak open. My body froze as I saw my sister walk through the door. She looked over at the scene of Rhett kissing me and then she glared at me. When our eyes met, my heart pulsated so much that it almost hurt. Without saying a word, Arianna raced out of the room and shut the door behind her.

I knew that I had done something terrible. Rhett didn’t seem to notice as he continued to kiss me. Frozen and feeling poisoned with guilt, I quickly pulled myself away to the other end of the couch.

“What’s wrong?” Rhett asked as his eyes glanced over my worried expression. However, I didn’t respond. My sister was outside, likely heartbroken from the scene she had stumble upon.

I pushed myself off of the couch and ran toward the door. After swinging it open, I raced down the steps and desperately looked around for Arianna. The cold air spread across my skin as I made my way to the street. When I got to the sidewalk, I couldn’t see where she had gone.

“Arianna!” I yelled. “I’m sorry!” I heard my voice carry into the cold night. I needed to explain myself and to apologize for betraying her; Arianna wouldn’t forgive me if I waited too long. Panicked, I ran down toward the end of the street; however, my sister was nowhere to be found.
