He felt a tingle run along his groin as he looked into her eyes and got a whiff of her scent. “Shit, Red, you leaning back with a helluva lot of sexy oozing out of your ass, too.”

“Ooooh, I can tell I'm gonna like you a lot already.”

“Uh-huh, I sure do hope so. I could really enjoy a sexy mutha like you in my life, that's for sure.”

Her eyes lowered to the budging lump in his pants and she smiled. “I can see you ain't gonna be hard to get along with. Mmmph and from here I can tell you are definitely a real man.”

Sparkle's dick started to throb in his pants. She didn't waste any time leaning into him, pressing her softness right on his hardness and moaned. She reached up and ran her fingers along his neck. The tingling increased as he reached down to rub that phat red ass.

Just when he felt himself starting to drool from the head of his dick, the voice from the back bellowed again.

He heard JJ grunt from down the hallway, “Ahem, ya'll horny muthas wanna handle a little biz first?”

Ruby moaned, “Yeah, bitch, I know you hear them folk back there wanting to get it on with your nasty ass.”

Dee sucked on her teeth and flicked her a dainty wave before
she elbowed her way between the two of them. JJ patted her ass as she passed and ogled at the way each of her ass cheeks jiggled in her Spandex. “Good God, girl, how in the hell you manage to hold all that up all day?
Damn.

She tooted her nose up at him. “Very well, nigga; very muthafucking well. Now come on and handle your business because I got things to do, yo.” She fluttered her long lashes at him, faked a lustful shiver and licked her lips.

“You one nasty ho, Red.” Ruby rolled her eyes as she went into the room.

“Fuck you, bitch; fuck you.” She gritted at Ruby before she whirled on JJ. “Okay, playa, you acting all anxious and everything, so let's ease on up in here and see what this bomb is that you screaming about.”

JJ halted her swill by pressing his palm on her nose. “Freeze wid yo shit, go-getter. You know that shit ain't gonna work with me, shawtie.” He stepped away and looked at her like she was a maggot or worse.

She was well versed in the game and knew that she had to maintain at least a spark of respect for the new fly in the soup. She parried that blow by snaking her head around his palm and smiled. “Nigga, if you wanna play superfly, you can take your fucking bomb to Shortie's. A ho ain't nowhere near desperate like that.” She tooted her nose up and whirled into the bedroom with bitchy attitude; she was still the queen of her castle.

“About muthafucking time, ho,” was the greeting by a chorus of folk ready to get their buzz on.

JJ, having known her since their kindergarten days, could only smile at her comeback and let her get her shine on. Besides, he didn't really want to deal with Shortie and she was aware. He had to let her sample the goodies before he could sell even one sack in her spot. Still he had to maintain his swagger in front of the
geekers in the room. “Come on, you pretty red muthafucka, but don't think you gonna hold me hostage up in here.” He frowned and walked to the other bedroom down the hall and stepped in.

“That's right, home front, do the queen bee right, do her right.” She flung her head back and wiggled her Jell-O butt on by him and pushed the door all the way open. Before she stepped all the way in she whirled on Ruby and sneered, “Be back in a sec, bitch.”

Ruby wrinkled her nose. “You stank, girl; you stank.”

“Whatever.” She smiled, popped her finger in a large circle and closed the door.

Five minutes later JJ whipped out of the room smiling from ear to ear and headed to Dee's bedroom. He chirped at the geekers. “Okay, boys and girls, what ya'll hitting for? The bomb is here; the bomb is here.”

Dee came out moments later, rolling her eyes at Ruby and wiping the corners of her mouth with her baby finger. She smiled at Sparkle and went into the bathroom. After all she couldn't get up on the new fly with dick breath, knowing she'd be working her magical skills on him shortly.

Ruby turned her nose up when Dee passed and hissed, “Ho, you ain't nothing but a stank ho.”

Dee popped her fingers three times skyward and frowned. “Tell me something I don't know, bitch, with your sluttish tar-baby ass.” She wrinkled her nose, batted her lashes and closed the bathroom door with a girly flair.

Sparkle, knowing he had a little wait coming, smiled at the catfight banter and went to sit at the dining room table and crossed his legs. His jaws clenched as he lusted at Dee's tremendous ass.
Godayum, dat red-ass ho must have the bomb diggety in those pouty lips, the way she shook bro off so quickly. Shiiiit, a nigga got to have a sample of that there for sho.

He casually looked around the room.
Hmmm, baby girl has got to have some pretty good taste, too.
He checked out the décor of the room. A red leather couch, anchored by matching loveseats, were in a circle, with pink flamingos on each end. A huge kidney-shaped glass coffee table sat in the center. A seventy-two-inch flat-screen TV was on the far wall over a wall-length aquarium. He squinted at the marine life swimming in the clear blue water.
Damn, were those miniature sharks?
You bet and also a couple of jellyfish. Set all around the room were dozens of feminine whatnots and a few family portraits. There were long glass lamps shaped like flower vases with red lights that gave the room a really cozy feeling. It was the last thing you'd expect in a junkie's crib.

JJ stuck his head out of the room and motioned for Sparkle to join him, breaking his little revelry. As he stood up Dee came out of the bathroom and smiled at him and headed to the back. He bypassed Ruby, who was obviously locked in some deep thoughts. He wondered what she was thinking about, all stuck in her own little world. When he entered the room he saw several groups huddled together passing glass tubes among themselves.

Dee was really laying some dude out as he crossed the sill. “Well, I'm here now, nigga, so what's up?”

Leaning against the door was a tall, dark-skinned dude in a used brown silk suit with an angry frown on his face. Another tall lanky fella, who was leaning against the dresser drawer in a tan jean outfit, waved money in the air toward JJ. “Let's see what you working with, soldier. I could use a good fifty if you running them.” He flashed a mouthful of dull gold teeth.

JJ merely nodded at dude and spoke to a light-skinned brother who was sitting on the edge of the bed. “Yo, Tee, my man, what's up, man?”

Tee, who had a set of big pink lips, green eyes and a snooty
disposition, shifted his weight on the bed. He squinted at JJ and said in a nasal twang, “Trying to get on, dude. You holding some good shit, I hope?”

JJ took the time to light up a Newport cigarette, and then took a few long tokes before he surveyed the room. “Yeah, I got a little bomb here; whatcha hitting for?”

Tee leaned over to whisper to short dude beside him who looked like he had been geeking for days on end. The fella nodded and went into his pocket to pull out a roll of money.

Dee, who had stationed herself at the door to the bathroom, braced her hands on her ample hips. “Nigga, I thought you said ya'll was broke,” she said in an angry tone.

Tee spoke up for the both of them. “Bitch, I didn't want your dirty ass playing games with my ends. Hell, everybody knows how you do when you get broke yourself.”

She strutted to the bed and placed her crotch directly in his face. “Naw, nigga, how I be doing?”

He leaned back on the bed, wrinkled his nose and wiped his hand across his mouth. “Come on, bitch, back your damn pussy outta my face.”

She leaned forward, practically right in his face and spat, “Whaddafuck you say?”

“I said,” he paused and took a deep breath, “aw, don't worry about it. All I want is some good shit; that's all.” He leaned around her and looked at JJ.

Dee straightened up and snorted. “Which one of ya'll gonna serve this bitch?”

JJ stepped menacingly toward Tee. “Nigga, didn't I just ask you what you hitting for?” He cut his eyes at the short guy and then back at Tee before he pulled out a leather pouch from inside his jacket. He rummaged through the baggies of twenties. “Flip money,
Reggie, here it is. My shit on display but like I told this nigga here, I got dimes, twenties and boulder fifties.”

Reggie eyeballed the pouch like he was struggling to get out of a straitjacket before he licked his dry lips. “Well, what kind of deal can you swing, nigga?”

“Hey, ain't no deals. I told and showed you what I'm carrying, so what the fuck is up; you scoring or what? I ain't got all night to be bullshitting around; you either do or you don't, simple plain, dog.”

Tee and Reggie shifted their eyes toward Dee. “Man, I heard ya, but this be her crib and she like to act like she running thangs and shit.”

Dee started to say something but JJ put his hand on the small of her back to stop her. “One more time, man. I got dimes, twenties and fifties. What's up?”

He gritted on Reggie like he was something out of the gutter, not about to allow no game right off the top. He was a pure snake from dealing with him in the past. “Nigga, I know you of all people ain't coming at me with that work-a-deal bullshit. You don't cut nobody no slack whatsoever when you on, so it ain't about to happen.”

Reggie massaged his salt-and-pepper beard, and being the old grizzled veteran of the streets, he couldn't give up on the first try. He came back at him with a quickness. “Playa, playa, now you know that we been doing this here way too long for you to be going square on me now.”

JJ cocked a brow and spat, “Nigga, please, you always come at folk with that pissant con. Then again, fuck that bull you talking. You can get two of these boulders, ten dimes or five of twenties. Nuff said, whatcha gonna do?” He held out the dope in his palm.

Reggie knew that he wasn't going for any of his bull; especially
in front of all these folk who also wanted to score. “Aw, aight, dog, if you gonna handle an old friend like that.” He reached into his palm and started fingering the rocks.

JJ frowned, his patience wearing thin. “Aw, man, fuck dat. They all the same size.” He snatched the bills out of his hand and picked out five dimes and gave them to him, ignoring his grunted reaction. Then he straightened up and looked around the room. “Next.”

With a quickness, three people made their way over to him, practically pushing Reggie out of the way and flashing money.

Sparkle leaned against the dresser while checking the action. No sooner had JJ served one customer than another was flashing dollars in his face. The fast-paced activities brought back memories of when he was slinging coke and heroin on Auburn Avenue with his boy, Rainbow, in Buttermilk Bottom.
Boy, homey's really clocking the bills,
he thought as he counted dollars right along with him.

CHAPTER FOUR
Sexy Dee Works Her Magic

S
parkle tried to concentrate on his boy getting down. But his attention kept getting drawn to Dee's ass shaking like Jell-O every time she shifted her weight in her animated confrontation with Tee. When she started pacing back and forth, each ass cheek seemed to rumble on its own axle. His dick kept jerking at his zipper like it was trying to take a sniff at the wide gap between them. Sensing him checking her out, she eyed him out of the corner of her eyes. She started posing at an angle so that her titties and ass curved up and out for his full inspection.

Catching the lust glittering in his eyes, she threw him a sexy smile and purred, “Hey, fellas, how about one of ya'll check to see if I bolted the chain back on the door.”

JJ looked at her like she had lost her mind, but turned and reluctantly went to check it out anyway. She sneered at his departing back and locked in on Sparkle's eyes, seductively lowering hers to the ever-growing budge in his pants. Her nostrils flared as she ran a wanton tongue across her lips and walked up to him. Faking like she was watching JJ check on the door, she whispered so that the others in the room couldn't hear her. “Mmm-mmm, where did JJ come up with you, sexy-ass nigga?”

She rolled her golden cat eyes up and down his body and put some extra dick-throbbing sway into that sexy ass as she walked
to the hallway bathroom. He was caught up in the motion of her hips. He didn't notice JJ had walked up to him until he'd nudged him in the side. “Hey, man, don't let all that honey-coated sex appeal fool ya. Dat bitch is a real dog. Believe that shit there, partner.”

Sparkle gritted at him, irritated that he had picked him to be some kind of weak-ass nigga. “Yeah, bro, I done figured dat much, but damn she be fine for a mug. Don't worry about me, dog, 'cause I got my mental on at all times.”

“Yeah.” JJ smiled.

“Hell yeah.” He smiled back.

“Uh-huh, but take it from me, the bitch has got some of that super-duper pussy and head and ass. She know that shit, too, so keep yourself on point, dog. That's all I'm saying, for real, yo.”

“I bet she do.” Sparkle smiled in anticipation.

“Yeah, you bet right, but it's for all comers who keep the biggest package of this shit here.” He flashed the bag of rocks he'd taken out of his pocket. It was time to get paid so he waved away the nonsense conversation and nodded toward the people in the room. “Come on, dog; let's go get the rest of this here scratch.”

There were groups in clusters but Sparkle zoomed in on a trio of honeys sharing a glass shooter in the far corner. One of the girls had a remarkable resemblance to Dawn Robinson, that sexy redbone that used to sing with EnVogue. She happened to be one of his favorite fantasies while he was doing his bit. Another was dark with a tight afro, aight as far as aight goes. Then there was a coffee-and-cream-colored older broad with short hair. She had her back to him so he couldn't get a full look at her face.
