  I dish up all the food and take two plates to the table while Tyler grabs two more. I go back for my own plate and place it on the table.

  Jack comes in first, no surpr
ise. Justin and Melissa walk in, he pulls back the chair for her to sit down and pushes it back in.

   “So Melissa, what do you do?” I ask half way through dinner.

  I feel like shit for bringing up her parents. I know my pa

Melissa and I have sat in the living room while I relegated the men to clear away the plates.

chooses that time to come in. He’s laughing at something one of the guys says when he sees Melissa crying.

” he mumbles. He sits on the arm where she is and puts his hand on her shoulder.

  I nod. I see Tyler walking through the kitchen door laughing at something Jack said. I’m glad they’re getting along.

   “What’s so funny?” I ask. Justin came in laughing and now Tyler has.

  He looks at me and smirks.

   “They have been telling me what you use to get up too when you were younger” I narrow my eyes at my brothers when Jack walks in through the door. Justin smiles and winks at me. Pay backs a bitch.

   “Justin went through a stage of peeing
in our nan’s potted plants around the house. The amount of times she changed them, I’m surprised she didn’t just give up”

  That causes Melissa and Tyler to crack up. Jack smiles but it fades when I set my eyes on him.

   “Jack wouldn’t wash for a week when he was 14 because the girl he liked touched his arm” Tyler and Melissa carry on laughing. Both my brothers glare at me. I give them a smug smile.

   “So what did he say about me?” I ask Tyler once his laughter died down.

   “That you still have your blanket from when you were a baby” Well that wasn’t so bad. “And that you used to run around naked when your nan tried to bath you” I scowl at my brothers, they start laughing all over again. The bastard’s!

  I look at Tyler and see he’s trying to keep in his laughter.

   “So what did you think?” Justin asks after he saw Melissa out to her car a couple
of hours later.

’s approval you’re going to get” I say nudging Justin. He laughs softly.

Anyway, I thought you said it was a month ago? She’s 15 weeks. Near enough 4 months…” Justin rubs the back of his neck sheepishly.

   “I don’t have a

   “Well considering
dinner is over and done with and everything is clean and put away. Tyler and I are going in my bedroom” Jack raises his eyebrow but says nothing.

  Tyler stands up and we walk into my bedroom.
