I could feel the pressure building deep inside of me, and I couldn’t wait any longer. Just when I thought it was safe to look up at him, those piercing blue eyes caught me in their line of sight, and I almost lost it. I pulled off my shirt and unclasped my bra, throwing it in his direction, as I watched his eyes widen just enough to take in my completely naked form in front of him. A small smile tugged at the corner of my lips, knowing that I could never get used to the way he was looking at me this very minute. Everything else faded away. Time stood still, and so did I. Everything was unmoving, as his sky blue eyes raked down my entire body. I felt vulnerable and a little bit violated, but what he did next, made me forget every thought before that.

His hands wrapped tightly around my waist as he lowered me into the water. His hands came up and pushed back through his hair, as is eyes never left mine. I watched his every move, as he joined me in the water. His strong hands pushed my hair back away from my face, exposing my neck at the same time. I watched as his eyes dropped to the spot I knew he would kissing soon, and then back up to my eyes. Every look left a heated trail of desire.

Dax easily pulled up my legs, wrapping them around his waist, as he pushed his erection flush against my throbbing entrance. I wanted him inside of me, to feel his love for me as he thrust himself in and out of me with the intention of making me understand every thought, and every emotion he couldn’t speak with words.

He clutched my face with both hands, and stared at me. His eyes were searching something out in my gaze, but I was clueless as to what that could be. A small tear formed in the corner of my eye, as I waited for this amazing man to say the three words I had longed to hear from him.

Chapter Twenty-One

Dax

With every touch, every movement of my body against hers, the closer I came to falling even more in love with this girl than I ever thought possible. I opened my eyes and caught her beautiful face in my line of sight. Her mouth was barely open and I could hear her breathing become more labored. My lips yearned for hers, so I leaned forward and gently pressed mine against hers. She let out a small moan, urging me to keep moving. My wet lips made there way across her jaw and down her neck before making their way back up to her ear. I placed a small kiss right below her earlobe, and then placed my lips right by her ear, so only she could hear me.

“I love you, Charlee.” With one last hard thrust, her and I came undone together. As one we fell, leaving every inhibition behind. We didn’t care what tomorrow would bring us, and in that moment, all I cared about was loving her.

“I love you too, Dax.” Her voice was labored, but her words were the sweetest things I ever heard.

I lifted her head from my shoulder, cradling it in my palms. I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. She looked so peaceful and amazingly beautiful. I honestly couldn't imagine another day without her by my side.

“There’s something I need to tell you.” I whispered.

“What’s that?”

Her arms were still wrapped tightly around my neck, and her legs just as tightly around my waist. I knew what I was about to say would crush her, but I couldn’t wait for her to find out from someone else. “Charlee, Wilton and I have to move out. I know what you’re probably thinking, but I promise I’m going to try and stay close. I found a few places in Mesa that aren’t that far.” When she hadn’t said anything, I pulled back to better gauge her reaction.

“I already know. I ran into Trevor at Home Depot and he let it slip. Honestly, I think I’ll miss being able to see your gorgeous face every day, whenever I want. How long do you guys have?”

I was shocked by her reaction. I was expecting yelling, screaming, maybe even the silent treatment, but I sure as hell wasn’t expecting compassion and understanding. “His aunt said a month, but Wilton is trying to get her to extend it for a few more.”

“Well, that gives us time to come up with a plan then. A way for us to figure this thing out. This doesn’t mean it’s over between us just because you have to move. Does it?”

I could hear the worry and disappointment in her voice. She was expecting me to leave her. She was expecting me to just dump her like yesterday’s garbage and move on. I pushed my hands back through her damp hair, forcing her to look at me. “Charlee, I just told you that I love you. I’m in love with you. I know how crazy it sounds, and I know it seems too soon, but you are who I want to be with. There’s nobody else that could measure up to you. Even if I had to move to another state, I would take you with me and be with you forever.”

She was speechless. I could hear her intake of breath and her even longer exhaling, but she couldn’t say a single word to me. When a smile started to form across her face, I was finally able to let out the breath of air I hadn’t realized I had been holding.

“We will figure this out. Let’s not worry about it until we absolutely need to. I love you, Dax. You moving won’t change that.”

Before I could respond, her lips were moving against mine. The kiss started out slow, but quickly worked its way up to passionate, and I had to have her again. Right here and now, I needed to be inside of the woman that I love and who loves me in return.

I pressed my hard on slowly into her wet entrance. Without the smallest hesitation, I pushed myself into her as deep as her body would allow. She cried out my name, and it only made me rock in and out of her faster. I wish I could’ve savored the moment, but my body was yearning for her, to feel her, to claim her as mine and make her never want another man.

Seconds later, we exploded around each other. I held her head in my hand as her eyes fluttered shut, and silently thanked god that this amazing woman was all mine. When her eyes opened and began to focus on my face, I couldn’t help but smile.

“Someone felt the need to prove something, huh?”

I knew she was joking, and it felt amazing to have someone that I could joke around with. “We should probably get dressed at some point. I don’t want your mom to find us in this position.”

“That’s probably a good idea.”

I swam backwards, as I watched my long toned gorgeous girlfriend emerge from the water right in front of me. She was a sight that I would never be able to, or want to get out of my head.

“See something you like?”

I was swimming in her direction when she turned back to look at me. “Most definitely, Charlee. Most definitely.”

After Charlee and I were dried and dressed, we spent the rest of the afternoon in each other’s arms on one of the lounge chairs in her backyard. My day hadn’t started the best, but it was now moving up the ranks, and headed into one of the best days ever. Charlee was nestled into my chest, and the overwhelming aroma of her vanilla lotion kept assaulting my nostrils. Most days I wouldn’t have even noticed, but today it was causing my body to want to do naughty things every five seconds. I buried my nose into her hair, causing the cutest giggle to escape from her kissable lips. I did it again, wanting to hear the same reaction, and she didn’t disappoint.

“Dax, stop.” She giggled louder as she said my name and my dick twitched.

“You know, you have quite the affect on me.” I teased.

“I can feel that.” She laughed as she turned around and straddled me. “Can you handle me one more time?”

Her plump lips began placing heated kisses down my neck. I let my head rest back against the chair, as I soaked in the pleasure this girl was willing to bestow upon me. Her tongue flicked across one of my exposed nipples and then the other. I wasn’t usually into my nipples being messed with, but the way she was moving her tongue, left something to be said about it. I ran my fingers through her hair as she started to move further down south.

“Charlee, you know you don’t have to right?”

She lifted her head for a brief second and looked straight at me, “I don’t do things because I have to, Dax. I do things because I want to. And right now, I want you in my mouth.”

Just when I thought I couldn’t love the girl anymore, she goes and says something like that. I lifted my hips as she lowered my shorts, exposing my rock hard excitement for her. I pulled her hair back and watched, as my extremely sexy girlfriend licked her lips before descending on my dick. I couldn’t contain the moans that began to escape my lips, as she moved her mouth up and down on my over excited cock. Just as she started to pick up the pace, I knew I didn’t want to finish in her mouth. I wanted to be inside of her, feel her walls contract against my cock, as I emptied myself inside of her.

Before she could tell me no, I was pulling her half naked body up and ripping her shorts right down the inseam. I threw them across the yard, pushed her bathing suit bottoms to the side and pulled her onto me, hard and needy. I pushed my hips up, matching my movements with hers, and just when I thought I had already felt the highest of heights with her in this way, a whole new level of pleasure presented itself as her walls greedily sucked me in one last time.

Charlee collapsed onto my sweat-ridden chest, and I could feel her body start to shake. Suddenly it dawned on me that I may have hurt her, so I quickly sat up and pulled her into my arms.

“Charlee, I’m so so sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you. Are you okay? Please tell me you are okay.” I was getting desperate for her to answer me. She hadn’t said a single word, and her body kept quivering in my arms. When she finally lifted her head, I almost lost it when I realized she was laughing, and not crying. “Are you seriously laughing right now?”

“I’m so sorry. I don’t know why I’m laughing. That was seriously, amazing. I thought that we had reached that level already, but holy shit was I wrong. I’m sorry; the only reaction that came was laughing. I love you so much, Dax.”

Before I could respond, her lips were sealed against mine. My hand went into her hair, pulling her closer to me. Yep, best day EVER.

Chapter Twenty-Two

Charlee

I let the Rachael issue slide for quite a while, given the new emotional status of our relationship. The last couple of weeks had been more than I could have ever asked for. We went on dates, hung out with our friends, spent
a lot
of time in my pool, and even made a few trips down to the lake. Dax’s moving date was looming around like a dark rain cloud, but I decided to not let it bother me. It was what it was, and no amount of dwelling was going to change that.

Dax had slowly started hanging out with Taylor’s ex, a new friendship that I wasn’t at all thrilled with, given the fact that Taylor’s ex was best friends with my ex. Taylor and I both tried to stop their little friendship from thriving, but given that Taylor and her ex were now sleeping together again, we really didn’t get a say so in the matter.

Tripp, Taylor’s ex, wasn’t the best guy around. I put up with his shit as long as I needed to after Taylor and him got married and had their baby, but since then, he was on my shit list. He was never faithful to Taylor, causing them to divorce, and now that Dax was hanging out with him, I had to admit that my mind often wandered into dark territory when it came to trusting Dax when he was with Tripp.

Of course, today was no exception. Dax woke up early and decided to go golfing with Tripp. He said he wouldn’t be gone all day, but I knew the minute those two got around each other, all reason and logic flew out the goddamned window. I was going stir crazy, and couldn’t take it anymore, so I decided to call and rant about it to the one person who would never judge me, Taylor.

“Hello?”

“I’m seriously standing on the ledge right now. At this very minute, my toes are dangling over the edge, and I’m getting ready to jump. Talk me off the ledge, Tay.”

Taylor’s laugh echoed through the phone as she uncontrollably took pleasure in my pain. “Oh honey, I’m sure everything is fine. They’re just golfing.”

“Taylor, do you even remember a couple years ago, when Tripp and Michael used to go “golfing” all the time? DON’T MOCK ME!”

“Alright, alright calm down. Look, Dax loves you and I know for a fact that he would never do anything like that to hurt you. You guys are practically living together, so it’s not like he could even get away with it.”

As soon as the words left her mouth, I knew exactly what I needed to do to stay sane in this relationship. “Thanks Taylor, you just gave me a great idea.”

“Hey, I do what I can to help.” She laughed. “So when is your brother’s going away party again?”

“This Saturday.”

“As in two days, Saturday?”

“Yes, please don’t tell me you’re bailing on me?”

“No, I promise. I just was going to see if my mom would babysit Katie for me, but I think I’ll just bring her with.”

“That works. It’s not like she’ll be the only kid there. Well, I guess I’m going to get some stuff done around the house. I’ll chat with you a little bit later.”

“Alright girly. Have a good day.” She laughed as she hung up the phone.

A couple hours later, there was a knock on the door. I wasn’t expecting anyone, but held out hope that it would be Dax. I practically sprinted across the house to answer it, and sure enough, there stood my knight in muscle armor. Damn he looked good in a polo shirt and khaki shorts. I flung open the screen door and jumped into his capable, waiting arms. My lips explored the sides of his neck before finally resting on his lips. I kissed him hard. I kissed him like he had never been kissed before, and when I pulled back, the shocked expression on his face was all I needed to brighten my day.

“Hi, baby.”

“Now that’s a way to greet a guy.” He winked before briefly kissing me once more. “So tomorrow is moving day. Are you sure your mom is okay with this?”

I unlatched my legs from around Dax’s waist, and took his hand as I steered him through the house and back to my room. “Of course she is. She wouldn’t have said yes, if she didn’t mean it. Trust me on that one.” I had asked my mom about a week ago if it was okay that Dax stayed with us while he looked for a new place. She wasn’t stoked on the idea, of course, but I used my charming daughter persuasion and eventually she caved. It wasn’t going to be for long, and I think that part helped influence her decision the most.
