I
asked for his arm and then for him to make a fist. He did as I asked, and I put
a catheter in, then a tube, and hook it into Jorge’s arm. Soon Xavier’s blood
was going into Jorge. After about ten minutes, I pulled out the catheter and
unlatched both of them. “That’s enough,” I said. “He’ll need more, but I think
we can get some from the hospital I work at later so you don’t go draining all
of yours.” I put a cotton ball where the catheter was and taped it in place,
pulling his arm up.  “This should be better soon.”

He
got up and came behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. “I know what will
make me better soon,” he said. He turned me around and kissed me deeply, then
pulled away.  “Watching you so handy with a knife like that, got me so hard,
I’ve never been so hard for a woman before as I am for you.” He brought my hand
to cup his penis.

 I
gasped and couldn’t help saying, “You’re telling the truth.”

“Of
course, I am,” Xavier said. “You are not the type of woman I usually take to
bed - smart, classy, pedigreed, but damn, I’m so hard for you, I can hardly
walk.”

“Um…maybe
Brandi can…” I said.

“Fuck
Brandi. I’m tired of her…her fake breasts, her whiny voice, her
manipulations…she’s in love with me, but I’m not at all in like with her. She
blew it when she tried to lay claim to me as her ‘boyfriend’, which I’m not.”
He bent in to smell me. “I don’t want anything to do with her. The woman I want
right now, the woman I can’t stop thinking about, is you. I want you. You smell
good, like sunshine, although you probably want a shower after all this time.”

“You’re
right, I do,” I said, feeling the tension of the surgery leaving my body.

Xavier
led me to the shower and turned on the water.  I quickly undressed and got in,
enjoying the feel of hot water cleaning off Jorge’s blood, of the days without
showering.  I closed my eyes, letting the water run down through my hair,
through my body. It had been the most tense couple of days I’ve had in years,
and I finally let it all go.

I
heard a deep groan and turned around. I was staring into a naked chest.
Scarred, muscular. Tanned and tattooed.  I looked up to see Xavier staring
hungrily at me. I looked down and saw he was stark naked with a bulging
hard-on. Startled at first I tried to get out of the showers, but he held onto
my shoulders. “Relax. I need a shower too, thought I’d take one with you, wash
your back.” He lathered up and began washing me. I closed my eyes and felt his
strong fingers kneading into my back, massaging out all the tension. He kept
massaging my shoulders my back, down to my hips and butt, before lathering up
to wash my entire backside, my butt, and between my legs, which he lingered and
spent an extra amount of care on. His fingers caressed me, tickled me, and
finally got me so weak in the knees, I had to hold onto his shoulders,
demanding release. His fingers plunged in and I exploded. Then without demanding
anything from me, he handed me a towel, and pointed for me to go outside. I
dried myself off while he stayed in the shower. My heart was racing as I
thought how much I had grown to like this man, at least this side of the man
after this short time. How my plans to seduce him and manage him was blurring
my own judgement. I closed my eyes as I quickly dressed and tried to control
myself from going back into the shower as I heard Xavier’s groans as he
relieved himself.

What
was happening to me? I was engaged to Drew, but that life seemed like a distant
past these days. Was it off? I didn’t know, but I still had some feelings for
Nat, too. But  now it was like I was a different woman, a bad girl, with this
man, who was probably the most dangerous crime lord around. I had to pull
myself together.

I
quickly walked out of the shower to find a pretty white summer dress laid out
on the purple velvet chaise. No bra or underwear. And I couldn’t find my old
ones. He must have trashed them, which meant I was going to be wearing a
sundress sans bra and sans underwear. How convenient for Xavier, or The Dragon as
I heard one of the men referred to him earlier when he was giving them orders
before he came back into the room for Jorge’s surgery.

Well,
I couldn’t stay to find out what Xavier had in mind with my outfit. I had to
get back to my old life, my real life, not this strange harem fantasy or
whatever it was my captive-brainwashed mind was playing.  Xavier was still in
the shower jacking off, when I checked on him, and then I looked around,
grabbed my shoes and hastily put them on. It was time I went home. I was going
to make a run for it, no matter what. The longer I stayed, the more I was
losing my mind, and succumbing to The Dragon’s charms.

Chapter
8

Summer

I
ran for it, luckily The Dragon’s men were out
looking for Jorge’s assailants so I could get out of the room and downstairs.

What
a luxurious place. If Xavier had his hand decorating this place, he had good
taste. Xavier…I couldn’t think of him as Xavier or I would cave. He was so
seductive, so good at getting me to see him as a person, to start liking him,
to even begin to care for him; that I forgot I was the one trying to seduce him,
to persuade him to leave Nat and whatever grudges he had with him alone.

So
when I run out that door, I would be leaving this strange world behind.  I
geared myself to run as fast as I could across the foyer, where I may be
spotted by his men. I may be caught, and have my cover blown, but I had to go
for it. I had to try to escape.

It
seemed clear and quiet, as though no one was around.  However, when I was about
to run out the front door, a man, dressed in a black t-shirt and dark jeans
shouted “hey” and ran to stop me, grabbing my wrist. I struggled against him,
trying to free myself, but his grip was so strong.  Finally, my volleyball
training came in handy as I head-butted him, sending him reeling back, dazed.

I
was an athlete after all, not some weak damsel in distress. I had muscles and I
knew how to use them. Even when it comes down to sex and seduction. We women
shouldn’t be ashamed of using everything we’ve got when it came to survival.
Men did, and yet other men would never criticize them for it. If I had to try
to seduce Xavier or go along with his seduction to avoid being killed, then I
would. If any woman was in my situation, they would find it hard to judge
others who had to do what they did to survive.

Now
it was time to get back to my pearls and scrubs world.

I
opened the door, but another man grabbed me from behind, pulling me back. I was
able to open the door for a brief moment, trying to push my weight forward to
throw off the man from behind. I briefly faced outside, the front of my body,
and my face facing outside.  I could see the beach, the  familiar landscape I  had
seen countless of times before.

It
hit me where I was. I was being held in a house near the Pad. My Malibu house.
The man’s grip was strong, and I landed into his hard chest when he pulled me
in, but not before my eyes fell on the man hidden down street. It looked like
Nat from far away, but maybe it was Drew. I couldn’t tell since they were the
same height. The man behind me shut the door, before turning me around.

“Enough
fresh air for you?” It was the Dragon, and he looked pissed. “I trusted you! To
think it was you I was jacking off to,” he pushed me down onto the nearest sofa
and climbed on top of me. “I held myself from taking you…boy I was so tempted,
but I thought that maybe…just maybe you can learn to like me a little before
you become my woman, that…oh screw it,” he looked angry and hurt. “You are all
alike.” He began unbuttoning the front of my dress, putting his mouth on mine, desperately
trying to kiss me, trying to see if I meant everything I said to him before,
that I wasn’t playing him this entire time.

“You
can’t make me like you, Xavier,” I said, when I could catch my breath, “by
keeping me a prisoner. You have to set me free first to see if I could like you
when I could have the choice to.”

Xavier
pinned me down with his weight and held my arms over my head as he kissed me
hard. “Is that how Nat got you to like him, by wooing you? Do you want me to
woo you?”

“Nat?
Oh,” I pretended to not be so affected by him, yet buying time so Nat or Drew
can get to the house unseen.  “Nat was a childhood friend. We got thrown
together. It was a long time ago, and now…I’ve moved on. I want something more.
Something more than a silly childhood crush. I want a  real man who can satisfy
my desires as a woman.” I licked my lips slowly while looking deeply into his
eyes. “I’m sorry I ran from you,” I said softly, “I was just scared, missed my
home, but when you showed up, I couldn’t resist wanting you. I can’t help
wanting you, Xavier. You make me feel like a sexy woman…all I want is you.”

Xavier
smiled widely. “I knew you were genuine about your feelings for me,” he said
happily. “It would devastate me to find you’ve been playing me all along,
Doctor,” he said. “But there’s one thing we could never disguise or hide
behind, and that’s our body language. Our bodies never could lie about how we
feel about a person. And yours can’t lie about how much you want me.” His hands
pulled apart the front of the dress, exposing my breasts and harden nipples. Hee
dove in, his hands filling each with a breast before licking and sucking on
each nipple.  I had to admit, it felt good, and I arched my back.

“Oh,
woman,” he groaned. “Every part of you so damn beautiful.” He moved his mouth,
kissing his way up my breast, my neck, and to my mouth where he opened them
with his long tongue and plundered inside.

“I
want to taste you inside,” he said, smiling wickedly, lifting the skirt of my
dress up to expose my bare bottom. “No underwear, free as a bird, is how I like
you.” He plunged his tongue in me. So that’s how it felt like to be filled with
a hot wet and very long tongue. I nearly winced as he plunged in and lapped me
up front on my clit, swirling his tongue and then plunging in.

I
moaned gripping his shoulders, my fingers digging into him. “Oh, Xavier,” I
cried.

“I
am going to make you forget your life before coming here, Bella,” he said. “My
beautiful one. My smart and brave one.” He licked me harder and faster until I
exploded.

“The
only man you will see in your mind and in your heart will be me,” he groaned,
holding me tight.

I
was too weak to fight against this desire. No wonder why Brandi couldn’t get
enough of him.

Speaking
of Brandi, it was like she was the devil or something, just appearing out of
the closet where she was hiding this entire time and jumping on top of The
Dragon like she was trying to get him off of me. She must’ve come back, because
I thought Xavier saw him leave. But she was back, and angrier than she was
before.

“You
pig!” she shouted at Xavier. “We fucked like crazy kids one moment and the next
you’re making love to her. Eating her pussy, when you’ve never ever wanted to
with me.”

“Why
would I?” Xavier said. “It disgust me to when you are an open door to whoever
will fuck you. This woman, this lady…” he looked at me, “she’s the woman I
want. I’ve wanted her for so long, dreamed of her, you don’t even know. From
overseas when one of our programmers out here became obsessed with her, he took
all kinds of photos of her, from her webcam, from satellite cameras, security
cameras everywhere and fed us her photos. So beautiful and happy. She was my
dream girl whenever I saw those photos. You…” he stared disdainfully at Brandi,
“could not even measure up to her. Don’t even think you could.”

My
mouth opened in shock, not believing how Xavier first known of me. He was part
of that cyber ring that the stalker I had for years belonged to. So he knew of
me and saw all those private and intimate photos of me. Some not even intimate
but personal. I felt sick.

“Oh,
you…” Brandi jumped on top of him again and began beating him with her fists.

He
turned around annoyed, and pushed her off.  Like an annoying gnat, she jumped
onto his back and began hitting him again, making him so angry, he tried to
throw her off.

While
they were fighting, I got up and ran to the front door, unlocked it, and opened
it, surprising the man who was about to break it open with a kick.  It was
Nat.

And
behind him was Drew.

Chapter
9

Summer

S
eeing both Nat and Drew dressed like combat
fighters was a sight I’ve never imagined, but here they were, armed and
dangerous, ready to break me out of this mansion themselves.  They didn’t send
someone else to do the job, but themselves…two guys who were wealthy enough to
hire an entire army even.

Nat
never looked so noble and strong as he did right now, charging into the mansion,
guns bared, and sweeping the room with his eyes. Drew, looking handsome, and
even handy with his gun, followed behind Nat, and made his way over to me. His
face almost broke into relief as he looked me over. “Summer,” he said, holding
me briefly and then shoving me behind him. “Stay behind me,” he said.

“Drop
your weapons!” Nat shouted into the room.

Xavier
knocked Brandi to the ground and grabbed pistols from I don’t know where,
twirled around and faced Nat.

Nat
and Xavier stared each other down, both armed and now pointing a gun at each
other.  The tension in the air was so thick, you could cut through it with a
knife.

You
could tell there was a long history between these two men, a history I had only
had a glimpse of just recently.

“Get
Summer out of here,” Nat said to Drew behind him, his eyes never once leaving
Xavier’s eyes.

Xavier
shifted one of his guns over to aim at Drew. “She’s stays with me.”

Brandi’s
eyes widened, and she stood up from the ground, her hair wild and messy from
being tossed. She looked over at Xavier and said, “Are you that crazy about
her? Let her go!”

“Shut
up, Brandi,” Xavier said to her, “You have nothing to do with this. Get out of
here, now!”

Nat

I
looked at the drama unfolding in front of me.
So, the Dragon is this hunk of a man, who inspired this woman’s jealousy. I’ve
trailed The Dragon for years and got close enough to take out many of his men.
Now he was down to a few.  And I had his servers and other contraband.  He had been
backed into a corner, fleeing from Hong Kong to California, and now housed here
in Malibu near Summer’s beach Pad.  I couldn’t believe this was the elusive
Dragon, whom I had been chasing all these years. The one who seemed to be the
most interested in my personal life, in my connection to Summer.

What
was his game?  What did he want with Summer, and why did he want her so badly?

“Hey,”
the woman said, “You’re that guy…The Blue Room. I thought I got rid of you…”

I
blinked. At first I didn’t recognize her. Then it hit me. She was the girl at
the gentleman’s club, The Blue Room, whom I was investigating for a friend, and
to find information on The Dragon’s whereabouts. This was the woman who I
nearly fucked and then she fucked me, meaning, she bashed my head in, sent me
to the hospital for dead.

“Oh
you,” I said bitterly. “Couldn’t recognize you with your clothes on and without
makeup.”

“How
did you live? Why are you alive?” She looked confused.

“Um,
magic?” I shrugged my shoulders. Then I nodded towards Summer. “See that
beautiful lady?  She is the reason why I’m alive. She saved me in more ways
than one, and that’s why…” I turned to The Dragon, “I’m not leaving here
without her.”

The
Dragon looked over at Summer, and for a split second, I saw a look of affection
in his eyes. Any man could recognize that look…the look of a man who was in
love with a woman. How? Was it even possible?

I
glanced at Summer quickly, taking in her breezy white summer dress that was
almost sheer through the sunlight. My throat gulped. She wasn’t wearing
anything under that sheer dress, and I could see her beautiful naked body
perfectly as though she wasn’t wearing a dress at all, but was standing in
front of me naked and so damn sexy. I could barely take my eyes off of her.
From the side of my eyes, I could see Xavier admiring her beauty too.

Looking
at Summer, it was possible for a man like The Dragon to succumb to her so
quickly. Heck, after ten years of trying to forget her, of trying to stay away
from her, I felt myself caving in to my deep down feelings of wanting her, of
loving her. There was no way in hell I would let this man have her.

“She
again?” Brandi let out a cry of exasperation. “She saved your ass?”

“Yes,”
Summer said, “I did.” Her voice was low and cold as steel. “He was found and
brought into the ER, where I performed surgery on him for hours. I didn’t even
know who he was when I did it…his head was too bloody and bashed in for me to
tell, but I did because it was what I do. I help hundreds of people when I can,
and I always will regardless of who or what they are. A monster caused him to
end up in the ER, and now that I could see who exactly did that to him, if you
came into the ER requiring my help, I would let you die.”

“Oh
no you didn’t say that, bitch,” Brandi said, walking towards Summer.

Summer
stepped in front of Drew, although he tried to hold her back, and without a
moment’s beat, she walked over to Brandi and slapped her face so hard, Brandi
nearly fell over.

Brandi
stumbled forward, regained her balance, and reached behind her, brandishing a
knife that she pointed at Summer.  Summer looked alarmed at first, but quickly
covered it up with a look of confidence. “You think that knife scares me?” she
asked.  “I work with the sharpest knives everyday. I could carve an “L” on you
in my sleep. “L” for ‘Loser’, “ Summer said, putting her hand to her hip and
making an “L” with her fingers from her other hand.

I
had to suppress a smile, seeing Summer act sassy in front of a crazy
knife-wielding bitch like Brandi.  It was a Summer I’ve never seen.

The
Dragon had his eyes on Summer, too, but was also aware of my every movement.

Drew
pointed his gun at Brandi, which was also in direct line to The Dragon. If he
shoot, it would either hit Brandi or The Dragon. A good strategic move on
Drew’s part, but Summer stepped in front of him, moving away from him and
walking over towards The Dragon.

If
I wasn’t so worried about Summer, I would think she had deliberately led Brandi
away from Drew, in case she began brandishing her knife all over the place, and
hitting Drew.

The
Dragon was watching her every move, and for a moment, he had the same
expression I had. Pride and amusement at watching Summer stand up to Brandi.  It
was their fight, and we men understood how important it was to get something
like that off anyone’s chest.

Only
Summer wasn’t armed with a sharp knife like Brandi was, and Brandi was already
taking swipes at her. The first strike ripped Summer’s dress in front, knicking
her skin below. A thin trickle of blood formed on Summer’s dress.

Drew,
The Dragon, and I stepped forward.

Summer’s
mouth opened in astonishment before she gritted her teeth. “Oh yeah? What were
you aiming for? If you were a surgeon, you would get an “F” for fail.” She
grabbed a large fancy silver tray that had silverware on it, and even silver
salt and pepper shakers from the table next to her. In a move as quick as
lightning, she emptied the salt shaker, and threw salt into Brandi’s eyes,
while she took a few steps towards Brandi who was trying to wipe her eyes, and
smash her hands with the tray, knocking Brandi’s knife to the ground.

Summer
kicked the knife away from Brandi, and when Brandi looked up, she used the
underside of her hand to push Brandi’s chin up, knocking Brandi back. “Fight
fair,” Summer said to her.

A
shot was fired, suddenly, and we all looked around. It came from upstairs, while
two of The Dragon’s men came at us from the sides. I looked at The Dragon, and
he was about to shoot me during the distraction, but Summer accidentally bumped
into him from where she was trying to pick up Brandi’s knife, which was next to
him. He shot, and it hit one of his men, wounding him in the chest.

Drew
lounged at that man, punching him twice until he was knocked out completely,
while I ducked, hearing another shot, and looked around for the other man.

He
was near Summer, and was about to grab her when Drew pushed Summer out of the
way. He grabbed the man’s arm, twisted his wrist to make him drop his gun, and
elbowed him into the chest, before punching him in the face, sending him down.

Drew
stepped back and was catching his breath when a gunshot was heard coming from
the top of the stairs. Drew’s face went blank as he fell over.

Summer
screamed and rushed over to Drew.

My
heart stopped seeing Drew lying prone on the ground. Please God, don’t let him
be dead.

I
aimed my gun at the shooter at the top of the stairs who was about to shoot
Drew and Summer.  Dammit, it was the kid. The Little Dragon…Jorge. He had been
bandaged up, but he was carrying two guns in his hands. One trained at Drew,
and the other trained at Summer. Drew was a sure target and an easy one, lying
smack in the middle of the room, a pool of blood bleeding under him.

“Oh
God, no!” Summer was crying.  She was trying to see where he was shot, and the
back of her head was in full view of Jorge’s gun.

He
was going to shoot her. I had to stop him before he did.

I
pointed my gun at him and shot.

He
dropped his guns and slumped down. A bullet through his head.

It
was a shot I didn’t want to take. I had deliberately let him live instead of
gunning him down when I could at the Compound so he could perhaps live and
maybe change?  A part of me said he might be able to since he was younger, but
a part of me said he wouldn’t, despite his age. He was a hardened criminal and
if he wasn’t stopped, many innocent lives, including Drew’s and Summer’s would
be taken.

The
Dragon let out a roar, when he saw Jorge fall dead on the spot, and he looked
over at me, his face transformed into pure anger and agony.

“You
killed my brother!” he cried, pointing his gun at me.

But
I was already pointing two of mine at him.

I
looked over at Summer, who was already trying to help Drew.

“How
is he?” I asked.

She
shook her head, tears running down her cheeks. “Not good,” she said. “We have
to get him to the hospital now.”

My
heart dropped. I had a hard time focusing.

“I
could work on him here, but I need…” Summer stopped talking, and my heart
started thundering.

Brandi
was behind Summer where she had put the tip of her knife blade under Summer’s
chin. One push, and the blade would go clear through Summer’s head.

The
look of anger vanished from The Dragon’s face, too, and a look of panic and
fear came over him.

“Let’s
see who the loser really is, Bitch,” Brandi said to Summer. “Let’s see who is
really the most handy with a knife. Think you can waltz into Eddie’s life, make
him replace me with you as his lover? Think again. I’m irreplaceable. I’m the
best lover he’s ever had…and you will never see his face, or this man’s face…”
she pointed at Drew, “or anyone’s face again, Bitch, because I am going to…”
she stopped and fell backwards, as a gunshot was heard.

The
gun in The Dragon’s hand was smoking, after shooting Brandi.

It
was a clear shot, which if he had missed would’ve hit Summer.

As
in slow motion, he put the gun back into his pockets, glanced at the windows,
and before rushing out of the room, fixed his gaze on Summer. “Summer,” he
said.

Summer
looked up, as though she heard her name being called, and by the time she
looked at where The Dragon had been standing, he was gone.

The
front door was kicked in, and Hector in his Miami Vice brown suit and loafers
barged in along with a few of my men.

He
surveyed the room, taking in the casualties, and let out a long whistle.
“Sorry, boss,” he said. “I tried to hurry but…”

“We
need to clean this up,” I said. Technically, all of this was supposed to be
under the radar. Us getting The Dragon and his men was secret work.  I looked
over at Brandi. She wasn’t supposed to be here, caught up in this lunacy. She
was the only civilian here, besides Summer and Drew.

Drew…

“We
need to take him to the hospital,” Summer said again.

“No,
we can’t,” I said. “All of this…it’s highly confidential. We need to take him
to a private medical facility.”

“You
have one?” Summer asked.

“For
guys like us, who operate under the radar, we do…”

“Hurry
then, please,” she cried. “I can’t. I can’t lose Drew. Please.”
